Cass is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Evergreen, CO, who needs $682 for Melanoma Removal and Testing.

Cass was adopted in November 2022 from the Animal Foundation in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was found as a stray on the streets of Las Vegas, and it was love at first sight. Cass was taken in to Kittredge Animal Clinic for multiple lumps and a growing rash. While the rash ended up being an infection, the lumps were found to be melanomas. It currently not known if the melanomas are benign or malignant. She needs the melanomas removed and sent in for testing. If they are malignant, she needs them removed before they can metastasize. Cass is the sweetest dog in the world. She absolutely loves every single person that she meets. From the vet to people walking down the street, everyone is her best friend. Other than people, her favorite thing in the entire world is snacks. She loves treats. Currently, she is being provided for solely by her owner. While she does have insurance to help with the expenses, the procedure has to be paid for completely out of pocket first. It’s unknown if her insurance will reimburse for this.

Cali is my little rescue full of love and warm hugs. When Cali came to me she was rambunctious and full of life. Unfortunately, she lost her sight several years ago and my heart breaks for her. Due to her blindness she is now withdrawn from the people she loves and the surroundings that once excited her. Cali is very insecure with her blindness, storms and loud noises now frighten her. I am seeking the help from my Waggle family and friends for my baby Cali. She has a bad case of cataracts and needs surgery as soon as possible. She has been evaluated and approved for the surgery at Auburn University Small Animal Hospital-Bailey Clinic. Cali's timing is very critical in order to prevent permanent blindness. Other than her blindness, Cali is perfectly health. Cali's love is unconditional she is my heart, my social butterfly and travel baby. She is a lover of life, and all people; young and old. Cali loves to express her needs and concerns. She is the biggest cuddle bug. Before losing her sight Cali would watch after her sister, Baptist who is 17 and deaf. Baptist would follow Cali's lead.' they are best friends. Cali is my love, joy, & happiness. I lost my husband/soulmate after a 3 year battle with ALS. I'm on a fixed income with no additional financial help. I've struggled for the past few years trying to scrap together the resources needed to give my baby the help she needs. Randall

Randall is a 10-year-old ShihTzu in Erie, MI, who needs $800 for Cystotomy.

I was contacted by friend whom is a veterinarian at the clinic where Randall was brought to after being found as a stray. He was severely matted and after some diagnostics were performed they found he has issues with his heart, bladder stones, and mobility. He was not considered a candidate for adoption so I took him in to give him a hospice home in his golden years. Randall follows mom (me) everywhere I go, he does not like to be away from me. He loves our cats and gets along with any animal and person he has met so far. His favorite time of the day is bedtime, he has to sleep in the big bed with mom. Randall just wants to be a part of our home and brings us lots of smiles! Randall hates the vacuum and hides in his dog bed whenever it comes out. He expects to be served dinner on time and grumbles at me if it's late. He also expects bedtime to be prompt and he let's me know if we are staying up too late. Randall is not able to go up or down stairs on his own but he needs frequent potty breaks so we spend a lot of time outside which he enjoys as long as I am there. Randall his a heart murmur that requires daily medications to manage his comfort level. His rear leg mobility does not seem to cause him pain, he just isn't able to maneuver like a normal dog. He had bladder stones that required surgery to be removed and he is on a few medications to help him heal from that surgery. Randall's surgery to remove his bladder stones was costly on top of the medications he needs to manage his heart. He has a good quality of life moving forward now and I feel lucky he found me. He deserves to feel healthy and loved!

As Pepper June settled into rescue, it became clear that she had been living with severe dental disease for far too long. Determined to give her the comfort she deserves, Pepper June underwent a much-needed dental procedure with the incredible team at Harmony Vet Care. She received a dental cleaning and multiple extractions to relieve her pain and improve her quality of life. Teagan

Teagan is a six-year-old Chihuahua mix in Boulder, CO, who needs $1,800 for leg surgery.

When Meghan H. saw a picture of a scruffy, sweet-faced Chihuahua mix named Teagan who needed a home, she instantly knew that was the dog for her. "We immediately fell in love with Teagan," Meghan tells Waggle. "She was formerly trained as an emotional support animal, and it shows. We call her Tea at home, and she is beginning to adjust to life with walks and playdates with other dogs." But as Teagan was out and about with other dogs, Meghan noticed she was having problems, "She hops on her back right leg when walking, as it is painful for her to bear weight on her left leg," Meghan says. It turned out Teagan was born with both of her knee caps out of place. The condition is called a luxating patella. "The veterinarian has told us that the severity of her condition will eventually result in torn ligaments and arthritis, which we are trying our best to prevent," Meghan adds. Luckily, surgery can help fix Teagan's condition, and Dr. Andrew Boal at Rise Vet is standing by to operate, but Meghan needs to raise the money for the procedure. "As a graduate student who has faced financial hardship during the pandemic, Teagan's needs have become an insurmountable hardship," Meghan says. "We love Teagan so much and can't wait to see her reach her full potential, running zoomies around our apartment without pain." Meghan is hoping giving animal lovers will help them rescue Teagan a second time and help give her a pain-free future.

Help Creamsickle Walk Again!

Morehead, KY • Cats' Meow Feline Fosters, Inc.

Creamsicle was only five months old when a car hit him and broke both legs and a hip. He was brought to the local shelter and they called Cats’ Meow Feline Fosters rescue. He came to us full of life and purred every time he was touched and wanted to be cuddled all the time. But he was unable to use his back legs. After he received pain meds and X-rays, Cats’ Meow and the local vet started looking for a surgeon for his complicated surgery. They settled on an orthopedic surgeon who visits a vet clinic in a nearby town. The surgeon and her team spent five-and-a-half hours and both neutered Creamsicle and repaired his injuries! A day after surgery he stood on his hind legs by himself but then demanded cuddles! Two weeks post surgery now, Creamsicle gets himself in and out of the litter box and has been exercising his legs with physical therapy. He is moving independently and showing his playful nature more every day. He is showing curiosity about his surroundings and eager to live his life.

Baby's story is heartbreaking, but Compassion Kind Foundation is determined to give him the chance he deserves. They first found Baby in Jamaica with a severely mangled ear and a large wound on his neck. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to catch him that first night. When they returned the next day, they learned that he had been tragically stoned and driven from the area. But they refused to give up on him. After tracking him down, they were finally able to get Baby to safety. He is now at the veterinary clinic receiving the urgent medical care he desperately needs. Baby has already endured more pain and suffering than any animal should. Now he needs our help to heal. Dolly and 9 Puppies

Dolly came to U.S. Dog Coalition as an owner surrender from a high-kill shelter in rural Northampton County. She was already in heartbreaking condition—heartworm positive, malnourished, and clearly neglected for far too long. Despite everything she had endured, she was carrying a litter of puppies and deserved a chance at a better life. When Dolly went into labor, it quickly became clear that something was terribly wrong. She was in severe distress, and there was no time to wait. They rushed her in for an emergency C-section in a desperate effort to save her and her babies. Sadly, the first puppy was born deceased. But thanks to the emergency surgery, Dolly was able to safely deliver nine puppies. The procedure saved lives, but it came at a tremendous cost. The emergency C-section bill was nearly $5,000, completely depleting their rescue funds. Dolly still has a long road ahead. She needs to recover from surgery, care for her puppies, and eventually begin treatment for her heartworm disease. We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of her emergency surgery and ongoing care. Any amount, no matter how small, will help Dolly and her puppies get the fresh start they deserve. Bafang is a young Labrador retriever who came into my life as a puppy and quickly became my constant companion. We live together in a small apartment, and he is my only pet. His name, “Bafang,” means “eight directions,” chosen to reflect my hope that he would grow up safe, curious, and full of possibility. From the beginning, he has been gentle, affectionate, and deeply bonded to me. Bafang recently suffered a serious leg injury that requires surgical treatment. We are currently working with VEG Cambridge, under the care of Dr. Perry. This is an acute injury rather than a chronic condition, and surgery is necessary to relieve his pain and restore his mobility so he can recover and live a normal, active life. Bafang is an incredibly loving and expressive dog. He follows me from room to room, greets everyone with enthusiasm, and finds joy in simple things like carrying his favorite toy or watching the world outside the window. He is playful but gentle, sensitive to my emotions, and brings comfort simply by staying close. His presence has been a steady source of warmth and companionship. The cost of Bafang’s surgery is a sudden and unexpected expense that exceeds what I can manage on my own right now.
