Yogi

Yogi is a 11 year old Pomeranian in Winterset, IA, who needs $1,500 for Dental Extraction.

Winterset, IA

Yogi came into our lives from a puppy farm in Nebraska, and while we were so happy to bring him home, he has faced health challenges from the very start. He has struggled with chronic skin issues and severe allergies since he was a puppy, which has meant many trips to the vet over the years. We reside in Winterset, Iowa. He enjoys sleeping and playing with the kids. We are seeking help for Yogi’s urgent dental issues, which have become a major health concern on top of his lifelong struggles with skin allergies. While we have managed his allergies for years, his dental condition has reached a point where he needs professional intervention that we can no longer manage on our own. We are working with our local veterinary hospital to address these painful issues. Yogi is truly the sweetest dog on the planet. He is incredibly kind, gentle, and patient with every member of our family, including the younger children and our other pets. He isn't a loud or demanding dog; instead, he has a quiet way of making sure everyone feels loved. Whether he’s greeting us at the door or just resting nearby, his presence brings a sense of peace to our home. Recently, our family has faced unexpected financial challenges that have made it impossible to cover the cost of Yogi’s essential dental surgery. Having him healthy and pain-free again would mean the world to us.

Lewis

Lewis is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Norway, IA, who needs $3,545 for Lily Toxicity Protocol: Inpatient Kidney Treatment.

Norway, IA

My brother had rescued Lewis from the top of a parking ramp in the middle of winter while working 3rd shift as an RN at a VA Hospital. He took him to the vet, nursed him & was in process of rehoming., Even though I was only being a temporary home for him while my brother traveled from hospital to hospital. Lewis became my furbaby at the height of the COVID pandemic. On 3/26/26, my son surprised me with a bouquet of flowers. On 3/28/26, Lewis ingested and covered his face in pollen from a true yellow Lily & chewed on a leaf. I brought him to BluePearl in Cedar Rapids, Iowa within 2 hours of occurance. ASPCA Posion Control created a case. Lewis was inpatient at bluepearl for over 48 hrs to push IV fluids, monitor his kidney levels thru blood work & urinalysis. Lewis aka Bouie aka Bouie Lou Lou was terrified of people, other animals & didn't know how to "cat". Lewis bonded to his feline brothers, Mouse & Midnight, whom we've continued grieving for since 2022 & 2025. Lewis followed their lead & after 2.5 yrs, he finally started to accept being loved on by humans. Lewis loves attention, like lttle booty-pats. He's my last furbaby; my best friend; my heart. I was abused in every way for over 20 yrs. 8 months after Lewis joined the family, my ex-husband abandoned me, our kids & all of our pets; 3 cats & 1 dog at the time. I have physical limits, can only work parttime & have financially maxed out on all the furbabies care.

Sassy

Sassy is a 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Catawissa, PA, who needs $3,000 for Arthrodesis.

Catawissa, PA

Like all our dogs, we rescued her. We have had her for 3-4 years now. We used a rescue organization that pulled her from an abusive situation in a hoarding house. She came to us bald, malnourished, unstable, with explosive diarrhea diagnosed as stress colitis. She has recovered to a loving, healthy and playful girl who never barked a sound for over a year and is now a little vocal queen. She injured herself (assuming jumped off bed wrong) on the 20th and we took her to the Limerick Vet Hospital as we were out of the area. Xrays were taken and we followed up with our primary a few days later. She was referred out for surgery due to a cartilage break (what the ACL connects to). They will unfortunately need to plate and graft the ankle to immobilize it for good.... She is the joy of our life. Sleeps with us every night. We cant imagine a world without her so young. She still has so much life in her and is trying desperately to run and play in her splint as if nothing is even happening. We want to restore her to as much of a normal life as possible which this surgery appears to be our only option. We are over $1000 in already. Surgery is quoted at around $6500, plus ~$1000 continuing care post-op. We are in bankruptcy and cannot qualify for any care credit. We have Embrace Insurance! We only need help with the $3000 that will not be covered/refunded by Embrace.

Help Support Mom and Newborn Babies

Washington, NC • Have A Heart Rescue

This sweet pittie lost her owner, and with that, the only home she knew. When her family wasn’t able to take her in, her future became uncertain. Thankfully, a kind-hearted young woman stepped up without hesitation to keep her safe. What she didn’t know at the time was that she was not spayed… and was currently expecting. Now, this gentle girl is carrying a full litter, and while she’s being loved and cared for, the reality is that the journey ahead will require more support than one person can provide alone. She is growing bigger every day, and soon there will be tiny lives depending on her and on all of us. Have a Heart Rescue is committed to making sure Mama and her puppies get everything they need: safe delivery, proper veterinary care, and a healthy start to life. But we can’t do it without you. Your support will help cover medical care for this sweet pittie, as well as food, supplies, and care for her puppies once they arrive. This isn’t just about one dog—it’s about giving a family a chance at a future filled with safety and love. Pixie Lee

Pixie Lee is a 13 year old Dachshund in Orlando, RI, who needs $5,000 for Intervertebral Disc Disease Surgery.

Orlando, RI

Pixie is Danielle’s beloved dog and constant companion, living in a stable, loving home where she is treated like family. Pixie came into Danielle’s life a few years ago and quickly became her emotional support and best friend. She’s the only pet in the household and is known for her playful personality. Her name “Pixie” came from her small size and energetic, mischievous spirit. Pixie has been diagnosed with severe IVDD, which has progressed to the point where surgical intervention is now necessary. She is being treated at a local veterinary hospital, but her condition is not easily managed and requires ongoing care. This is both urgent and chronic—without surgery, her quality of life will continue to decline. Danielle is doing everything possible to help her. Pixie is incredibly affectionate and intuitive, always staying close to Danielle and sensing when she needs comfort. She loves playing with her favorite toys, cuddling, and being part of every moment. Pixie’s joyful, loving nature has created an unbreakable bond, and she brings constant happiness and emotional support to Danielle’s life. Danielle is currently facing significant financial strain after covering medical expenses from a recent fall, in addition to everyday living costs. With these unexpected bills, she is unable to afford Pixie’s urgent surgery on her own. She is doing everything she can, but ne

Milo

Milo is a 4 year old American Shorthair in Chapel Hill, NC, who needs $1,250 for Cystotomy.

Chapel Hill, NC

I adopted Milo from a rescue shelter in 2022, and he has been my ESA and a hugely important part of my life ever since. He has been my best friend through the second half of college, many high stress situations, breakups, and currently my nursing school journey. He’s a feisty little guy but is a sweetheart deep down, which shows through his hearty purrs and jumping up to sleep with me every night Milo needs a cystotomy to remove two bladder stones. He had a previous cystotomy in July of 2025 to remove seven stones, and was diagnosed with kidney disease stage 2 in November. He has needed frequent diagnostic care including x-rays, ultrasounds, and urine analyses to keep him in good health and monitor disease progression Milo loves to get pet on his ears and chin, but gets overstimulated and gives a little nip once he’s reached his limit. He loves laying in the sun and chasing birds from the window, and is obsessed with batting hair ties around the house. He is very particular about his mealtimes, and he loves to bring me a bird toy that chirps to signal he wants to play, even though he won’t play with that toy I am a full time accelerated nursing student and am only able to work a few hours a week part time as a tennis coach. Most of what I saved up has been spent on emergencies, my monthly rent, food, and outside costs, and a lot on Milo’s first surgery and diagnostic care
