Rollo

Rollo is a 1-year-old Pitbull in Tenino, WA, who needs $2,000 for surgery.

TENINO, WA

We got Rollo when he was 6 weeks old. My daughter had been begging for a puppy. And we are moving into a new home with a fenced in yard and finally decided it was time to add a fur baby into our lives. Our daughter helped pick the name Rollo. Hes named after a Viking ruler. We drove to the other side of Washington to get him because as soon as I saw him, I knew he was perfect. Rollo is very loved and spoiled. He sleeps in bed with us most nights, some times in his own bed. Hes been My daughter's best friend since we got him. She gets more excited to see him after school than any one else and she cuddles him every morning when she wakes up. He's been the light of our lives. My son and daughter gives him hugs and kisses every night before bed. He's such a lovey boy. The first unique thing we noticed with Rollo was even has a tiny puppy, he would try to attack and bite at wind. Like when he stuck his head out the window of a car. And he loves hearing people laugh. When my daughter laughs in her room he'll run in there and start licking her and want to play. And hes very gentle,With other dogs and kids. He'll nudge with his head instead of using teeth or anything Rollo fell down apartment stairs. I think he ran down too fast because he's not use to them and misses one and rolled all the way down. He has a fractured joint and I was told with out surgery he'll have life long problems that will only get worse with age. Scatter Creek Animal Clinic referred me to Summit Veterinarian Referral Center for his surgery that will cost up to $6,000. My fiance lost his job about 2 months ago and we've been in-between moving because we could no longer afford rent and hes been struggling to find a new job. My daughter is devastated about our pup, she calls him her brother. I just want nothing more than to make him better

Bentley

Bentley is a 8 year old Maltese in Upper Marlboro , MD, who needs $2,000 for Repair His Broken Jaw.

Upper Marlboro, MD

Eight years ago, when my child wished for a dog, my late boss—who sadly passed away from cancer—gifted us Bentley, a Maltese. He has been a beloved part of our family ever since. We live in a house with a yard where Bentley enjoys playing and chasing birds. He is very loved, well cared for, and truly spoiled with affection and attention in his happy, secure home. My beloved dog Bentley was recently attacked by a raccoon while going outside like he normally does. The attack left him with a broken jaw and deep wounds on his side. He is normally a very healthy, happy boy, but he now needs emergency surgery to survive. We have already paid as much as we possibly can, but the cost of the surgery is more than we can manage. He was seen at rocky gorge er Bentley is such a special part of our family. He runs to greet us the moment we come home and makes sure to check every room at night, as if he’s making sure everyone is safe. He takes turns sleeping with each family member so that no one ever feels left out. Bentley is incredibly loving and loyal—he hates being alone and always wants to be near us. He is also very well trained, which makes him a I am facing one of the hardest times of my life. I recently lost my job after my boss passed away, and I’m a single parent raising a 17-year-old. We are doing everything we can just to cover basic needs like rent, food, and bills, and there is simply no extra money left for

Murphy

Murphy is a 7-month-old Malinois/German Shepherd in Port Richey, FL, who needs $2,000 for Tibial Tuberosity Avulsion.

Port Richey, FL

Hi, my name is Billy, and meet Murphy! We’re both happy to meet you! I am a 49yo single man who has never been married, but have found my happiness and fulfillment in the companionship of my dogs, and I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. I rescued Murph from a sanctuary in South Carolina a little over a month ago and my little guy has had an arduous beginning to his short life. I am fully aware of the responsibilities of parenting a breed like this, and I’ve done copious research into training and the psychology of a Shepherd, but he’s still a PUPPY! Through the first month together, we have been ‘click-training’ developing incredible obedience drills and behaviors, and both of us love it! Since we live on the Gulf coast of Florida, he loves the beach! This poor guy fought Parvo (a typically fatal virus in puppies) with blood transfusions and his will to live, and that is WHY I knew my survivor was the one for me! During our first trip to the beach, we sat in the shade under a palm and created a bond that cannot and will not be broken… no matter what. Ever. Ever heard of “Tibial Tuberosity Avulsion?” Me neither, until a week ago. While in his crate (I was at work) my ninja escaped, and somehow, that will forever only be known to him an Jesus, he dislocated/broke both knees simultaneously. By the way he was walking when I got home, I thought he broke his back! After a couple local x-rays, it was obvious my Murph needed immediate surgery. Murphy had the necessary surgery on June 20th. I am full-time employed and work hard for every dime I have, but a surprise $6000 surgery is way beyond my financial means. This guy has a long healthy life ahead of him, I just need some help to make sure he has exactly that.

Penny

Penny is a 8-year-old Labrador in Bowling Green, MO, who needs $2,000 for TTA-LHL.

Bowling Green, MO

Penny came into our lives 8 years ago as a tiny puppy, a gift for my son's 8th birthday. From then on, she's been his constant companion, even as he attends school online. Despite growing to 80 lbs, she still thinks she's a lap dog, curling up with him every chance she gets. Penny is a beloved member of our household. Usually, she sleeps upstairs with us, but her leg injury prevents her. She loves walks and greets everyone warmly, even strangers and other animals. Her sociable nature brings joy to our family every day. Penny is truly special because of her intuitive nature, always sensing and responding to our emotions. Her playful spirit brings joy to our lives every day, making her an irreplaceable part of our family. Penny's demeanor is usually serene, she’ll gently vocalize or boop us if feeling overlooked, ensuring her presence is noticed. Per the veterinary recommendation Penny needs surgery (TTA) Tibial Tuberosity Advancement: Cranial Cruciate Ligament Repair. Essentially, she has a ligament rupture in the knee joint. This injury is somewhat similar to an ACL tear in humans. Repairing this injury before her other hind leg experiences a similar injury is creating additional strain and concern. With finances ties up in divorce, affording this unexpected pet care is daunting. Restoring her health means everything, bringing us all joy and relief.

She has an amazing life is full of life and LOVE She is soft and kind. She is part of everything I do as if she is my child. I checked with her. She agrees! Hi I am Karma🐾. I am 8 years young and love my life! I love to swim, run and play and have lots of fun outdoors with my mama! I am the sweetest girl who enjoys bum rubs and ear scratches. I have to say tho the best is snuggling with my mama on the couch or even better sharing her bed. I just LOVE my life! ❤️🐾 I have this amazing smile when I am super happy. I will gladly sit on my hind legs to sit pretty for cookies. Haha sometimes mama just gives me one just because, those are my favorites. I won’t let her leave the house without of course being first at the door to ask permission to go bubye In the car!!! I am super loving and love my babies (toys) I am just a happy girl!!’ ❤️🐾 Karma has a tumor on my toe which is being treated for infection and pain, What We thought initially was a split in her nail. After many visits, worried days and nights her Vet at Webster animal hospital “Gina” her Doctor now says she needs the tumor to be removed and posssibly her toe amputated 🥲. I myself had a liver transplant 7/21 and am not allowed yet to work. 🥲 I have borrowed what I could but it is no where near the cost. It saddens me to see her limp and protect her paw 24/7 and to see the sadness she displays when not being able to do her daily activitys

Sunny

Help Sunny Stay Active and Pain-Free

CO • Paws 4 A Cure

After a veterinary evaluation, Sunny was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and began receiving medication and veterinary care to help manage his discomfort. But medication alone isn't enough. To improve his mobility and quality of life, Sunny needs ongoing physical rehabilitation, acupuncture, and shockwave therapy. His recommended treatment plan is expected to cost approximately $2,577. Paws 4 A Cure is generously providing a $300 grant toward Sunny's care. His mom is contributing what she can, but she still hopes to raise $2,000 to help ensure financial limitations don't prevent Sunny from receiving the treatment he needs. Sunny isn't just a beloved pet—he is his mom's best friend, constant companion, and family. “Sunny is my sweet 5-year-old dog and my best friend. Earlier this summer, I began noticing changes that made me concerned he was experiencing pain. After taking him to the veterinarian, I learned that Sunny has moderate hip dysplasia and has been experiencing significant pain despite his happy and incredibly stoic personality. He has since received veterinary care and medications to help manage his pain, but he still needs ongoing treatment through Red Sage Integrative Veterinary Partners to help improve his comfort, mobility, and quality of life. Sunny came into my life five years ago and has been by my side through so many major changes. Most recently, he made the journey across the country with me as I pursued graduate school in Colorado. No matter how difficult or stressful life becomes, Sunny is the constant presence waiting for me at home. He is my family, my best friend, and one of the biggest reasons I keep pushing forward even on my hardest days. He protects me even though he is scared himself. I want nothing but the very best for Sunny, but right now I cannot afford to provide all of the treatment I wish I could give him without help. I am a full-time graduate student and work through internships and research assistant positions, but the limited hours and low pay make it difficult to cover my living expenses while also managing the growing cost of Sunny's veterinary care. Asking for help is difficult, but Sunny means the world to me, and I want to do everything within my ability to give him the care he deserves.” “Any assistance toward Sunny’s treatment would mean more to us than I can express. Thank you so much to anyone who chooses to donate, share his story, or simply keep Sunny in your thoughts. Your kindness will help give my best friend the opportunity to feel more comfortable, stay mobile, and continue being the happy, loving dog who has brought so much joy into my life.” Sunny is only 5 years old, and with the right ongoing care, he has so much more life to live. He deserves the chance to run, play, explore, and enjoy his days without being limited by pain. 💜 Will you help Sunny get the treatment he needs? Every tax-deductible donation, no matter the amount, brings Sunny one step closer to greater comfort and mobility. A gift of $5, $25, or $50 can help make his rehabilitation and pain-management treatments possible. If you're unable to donate, sharing Sunny's Waggle campaign can be just as meaningful and may help his story reach someone who can. Together, we can help Sunny feel his best again and give this sweet boy more comfortable, happy days with the person who loves him most. 🐾 Paws 4 A Cure Needs Your Help Paws 4 A Cure is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance for urgent veterinary care to dogs and cats throughout the United States. Grayson

Grayson is an eleven-week-old puppy in Norwalk, CT, who needs $2,000 for emergency surgery.

Norwalk, CT • Pet Animal Welfare Society

How this adorable puppy was left to fend for himself on the streets in Texas is hard to comprehend. And if the Pet Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) didn't rescue Grayson, he would not have made it. The group brought him to their shelter in Connecticut, and that's when they realized he was in big trouble. "Grayson came to PAWS with his sister, Gemma. They couldn't be more adorable. They were both infested with parasites and were very lethargic and not eating. The sister's health turned around after deworming protocol. However, Grayson continued to be lethargic and wasn't eating," Ellen E., from the nonprofit group, tells Waggle. He was rushed to VCA Veterinary and Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, CT. He was diagnosed with bowel obstruction from the worms, and he needed emergency surgery. Without the operation, he would have died. "Grayson is very special because he had 0% surviving if left as a stray," Ellen says. "Post-surgery, both the sister and Grayson are acting playfully as puppies do. I hope we all can agree that an 11-week old puppy deserves a chance at a healthy life. This is a life worth saving. Just look at his beautiful face." Now the PAWS is trying to raise the money to pay for this unexpected and hefty expense. They hope you'll give to Grayson's campaign. It will help the group pay off his bill and allow them continue to save more pups who need medical help.
