Oona Monchichi

Oona Monchichi is a 4-year-old Ragdoll in Fargo, ND, who needs $1,225 for feline dentistry.

Fargo, ND

Oona came into my life on my birthday in July of 2020. She was three first thing I saw that morning while scrolling thru FB. She was on a site needing to be rehomed. Out of many ppl who wanted her I was the luckiest women in the world that day to be chosen as her new mommy! From moment 1 she fit right into my home and life and we bonded what seemed instantly! Oona and I have formed a bond like I've never had with another animal before. She is almost basically the cat version of me. We have been thru some really rough times over the last few months together and I can honestly say that if it wasn't for her I literally don't think I'd be alive right now. She is the light of my life and truly my soulmate. I am just starting my life over with little to nothing. Oona is my life and I can't stand seeing her in pain. It's now become very hard for her to eat and I just need my baby to be ok! Oona has been a pretty healthy cat other then her teeth before I got her and has had no major issues health wise since she's been with me. She was really showing no signs till lately that the teeth were becoming a problem. During her yearly exam at Animal Health Clinic, Fargo ND Dr. Katie found that she needed oral surgery ASAP as her dental issues had gotten so extreme. Oona is a very chill kitty. She spends so much time just relaxing on her back showing off her curly belly snoozing. She gets her zoomies a few times a day.She loves her little mousies. She talks to me alot and loves to snuggle me by laying on my chest, neck and face. She will literally sit there and stare me down till I lay down and let her lay on me. I must stop doing whatever I am.

Canelo

Canelo is a King Charles Cavalier Poodle mix puppy in Plano, IL, who needs $600 for Parvovirus.

Plano, IL

Canelo came into our lives from a family member's dog and he's been a fighter since he was born! He's normally doing puppy things, playing with our pittie, and is 10 weeks old. He's a gardener and loves digging up the dirt and plants we put down. He hides under the couch and will give our toes a nip if can catch them. He's the only "son" we'll have in our house full of girls. Canelo loves rough housing and playing. He's usually following one of us in the house (husband/wife and four kids) like a little duckling. While one of us works on house projects or getting the kids ready for school, he often grabs the one thing you need and runs with it! He loves toys, and his dinosaur basket with a pillow that says "no bad day." We are choosing to do the home treatment option, after my family was declined through the vet care financing option. My husband is the sole income earner at this time, and is currently on FMLA from a back injury so our income has reduced for the foreseeable future. We recently learned a neighbor's dog tested positive for Parvo, and was letting their dog use our yard for their business during their morning walks. Within days of learning of the dog's illness, our Canelito started slowing down. He's drinking, but not eating and my husband took him to the vet where it was confirmed he has Parvo. He's been treated at River Heights Vet Hospital by Elizabeth. Canelo is our "golden boy." He has a unique coat and color and is literally like a golden teddy bear. He's so small, and it's funny to see him be so rough when all you have to do is pick him up. He loves grabbing things, digging in the spots where I plant my plants, and he always trys to jump in the tub whenever his human sisters take a bath.

Possum

Please help Possum get out of the hospital.

Grandview, TN • Flying Pigs Sanctuary

Meet Possum--he has a severe UTI (no crystals, thankfully), and Flying Pigs Sanctuary started treatment right away. And then a few days ago, he started vomiting. At first, he seemed okay, but after finding a piece of cellophane (he loves eating things he shouldn’t), they didn’t want to risk waiting. They immediately headed to the emergency clinic in Chattanooga at 9:30 PM. The vet found his bladder to be very full and couldn’t be expressed—they suspected the infection had caused a blockage, but they also couldn’t rule out intestinal blockage, so they moved forward with hospitalization. X-Rays confirmed no intestinal blockage, and even under sedation, they were unable to express his bladder. They then had to insert a catheter, which confirmed blood in his urine. The good news is they caught it early, but he’ll need to stay hospitalized for a few more days. Possum sleeps on his caretaker's chest every night, so not having him here is really hard. He has a dog best friend named Goose, who is also missing him dearly, as they love to cuddle. Needless to say, things feel empty without him. There’s just something special about the little man. FPS is already at $5,100+ in medical bills, and they are still climbing. If you’re able to give any amount, it would be so greatly appreciated. They are in desperate need of your help to care for Possum, on top of the many other animals they are caring for. Thank you for your continued support.

Baby Meow

Baby Meow is a 1 year old Maine Coon in Bellevue , WA, who needs $2,000 for Medication for Treatment.

Bellevue, WA

I rescued my amazing Kitty when she was about 4 weeks old people were selling the cat but I convinced them to just give her to me they were showing the cats when they were only 4 weeks old not even old enough to be away from their mother but I knew if I didn't get her she would end up in the hands of one of the homeless people who got the siblings and the reason I was afraid of that was not because of them being homeless but because I had seen how the other animals were treated I've had to go in to the homeless encampment and take other pets away from owners when I was concerned about them and I knew that I could not let the last little kitty that was left to end up being neglected so when I rescued her she was very tiny luckily she was on Soft Kitty food and no longer on milk anyways we have no idea of what we would find out very soon after bringing her home we were not very financially secure but we knew we could provide a kitty with a very happy home since we had no other pets other than a turtle and some fish we have plenty of free time so she came at the perfect time we took her to the vetA short time after bringing her into our home the vet was from one of the low cost or free vets that only come around every so often so they give the best care that they can but she was only able to see my kitty for a few moments it was the end of the day and the vet was ready to be done but she examined baby meow and informed us that she had a heart murmur and it was one of the worst cases she had ever came across and that was only from doing a quick examination and said that baby meow most likely won't live past 1 years old we have not been able to get her in to another veterinarian the one we seen last time has not shown up twice to scheduled appointment times and after making the trip on the bus with the kitty the veterinarian couldn't even let us know they weren't going to be there we have we are not able to afford the medications that baby meow will need and should have and should have already been on to make it so she can be more comfortable and live longer life she is doing okay but she has a hard time breathing it's getting more and more frequent and she looks scared to look in her eyes like she wants help but she doesn't know exactly what for she is the best Kitty the sweetest and doesn't deserve this I have not been able to afford to take her to the vet I have been able to spoil her and give her a happy life I go without things often just to make sure she not only lives comfortably but lives extra posh She cannot play very hard her heart murmur makes it so she's out of breath very quickly and it's a very scary situation so we have just gotten toys or interactive toys that she can stand in one spot and use and sometimes we have to pick her up stop her from playing and just hold her and pet her because she's so out of breath so quickly Even though she isn't a baby anymore her name is still baby meow and she is the most loving kind-hearted calmest well-behaved animal that absolutely does not deserve to live with such a sad situation it breaks my heart and every time I see her out of breath panting which is getting more frequent each day and the look in her eyes she is scared and just looks at me like she wants me to help her it would break your heart if you seen it I just want to get the help she deserves and give her the longest happiest life I can
