We got Scooter five and half years ago from the shelter. She chose my husband, when he walked by she stuck her paw out at him, the lady at the shelter was surprised because Scooter was shy. She was only 4 months old when we got her. She is our first baby. We can't have kids so she became our daughter and then a few years later we got her a little brother to play with, stuck like glue now We came home from the store and found Scooter unable to use her back legs. We rushed her to the vet and they are telling us she needs surgery for IVDD. Which we can't afford it all because we are a blue collar family and it is very expensive to get the MRI and surgery. But we can't lose our baby after only 5 years. She hasn't lived a full life yet. My baby deserves a chance. Scooter loves her little brother Roscoe. He gets anxiety if she isn't with him. She is a loving friendly dog that always wants attention and loving from everyone. She loves riding, walking, and playing at the park with new friends. If she sees you sad she is fast to try and make you better. I am the only one working right now, due to medical reasons my husband can't work at the moment. Our family can't lose our little girl she means the world to us all. Without us being able to have kids she is our child. I don't know if I can make it without her.

He was already named tanner. We got him and adopted him from a rescue about 7 years ago we were looking for a dog and decided he'd be perfect for us. Emergency care, he got hit by a car last night and now may have a broken leg and other things. We can't even get him examined until we know if we can pay said amount He loves sleeping and cuddling under blankets. He loves stuffed monkeys specifically. He loves treats and will go to bed as soon as you pull the treats out. I lost my job during my pregnancy 4 months in haven't been able to health wise get another one and right now its only my mom and boyfriend working and my mom doesn't have enough money and we can barely afford to feed our other animals and ourselves rn

Max Had a Rough start at Life and when I came across him through a FB AD and saw how bad his condition was at just 11 weeks old along with gis brothers and sisters I Immediately Called police and animal control and all the Puppies were Rescued from this terrible environment and thankfully I Got to keep Max! He doesnt have a Mean bone in his body. He’s suffering from painful interdigital cysts and furunculosis, and has been treated at Eastern Maine Veterinary Services as a young puppy with a Small Surgery to strike an immune response and some antibiotics with Success. Now he is 2 and the Interdigital Cysts have returned along with the Furunculosis and Swelling Puss filled Paws and he and his health have taken a turn for the worst. When I was in the darkest chapters of my life, struggling with opioid addiction, Max was more than just a dog he was my anchor. Dogs don’t judge. They don’t care about your past. Max showed me love on the days I felt unlovable, and he gave me purpose when I felt like giving up Every morning Max needed me. He needed to be fed, walked, cared for. Even when i didnt care about myself I cared about him Max, my support dog, helped me through opioid addiction recovery. Now he’s suffering from furunculosis, interdigital cysts, and a bacterial infection. I'm facing financial hardship and unstable housing. Please help me get Max the care he urgently needs.

Buddy came into our home as a puppy. He is my first dog that I received from my dad’s friend. He was found abandoned on the side of the road. He is currently living with other animals. He has two different name my dad named him Brady but soon after he started living with me I got over my fear for dogs and he bonded with me. So I named him buddy. We still call him from both names. I was told by my vet that he needs to get a few teeth pulled which was around $900. I also had to help with my grandma cat tiger too. Her teeth was 1200. When I did buddy’s surgery they told me that he needs more teeth removed and the estimate was 1000 to 1200. Buddy is a big scaredy cat he is gets cared of flies. When he sees them he starts barking at them after a while he loses and try’s to hide from it. He is the baby of the house my family loves him. With back to surgery’s for buddy and my grandmas cat tiger. It Puts me in a bind for this current surgery. If I could I wouldn’t ask others for help. If I don’t get help I will have to reschedule his appointment again and lose $300 from his blood work.

Ares

Ares is a 9 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $2,000 for Radiation Therapy.

I rescued Ares when he was about 2 years old from the animal foundation here in Vegas. But saying I rescued him is wrong, he SAVED ME. I got him about 6 months after trying to commit suicide and he's given me a reason to live everyday since. We live in a large house and he has 2 other siblings that came along after. We are a small but happy family and we rely on eachother. Ares was misdiagnosed with a hygroma which has since been removed but due to the location they weren't able to remove the entire tumor. Since, he has been diagnosed with a low grade soft tissue sarcoma which he has to have 17 consecutive treatments of radiation in Carlsbad, CA, because removal of the limb would reduce his quality of life since he is already an amputee and would need a wheelchair. Ares is the foundation of my family and he is MY ROCK. Ares loves everyone he interacts with but he loves his momma and his momma is gonna go to the grave right with him when he goes. Hes touched my heart in a way that nothing else will ever be able to, he not only taught me how to love but taught me what it felt like to be loved, unconditionally. His treatment and stay total is $16,300 which is an unexpected cost but one that I simply don't have the funds for as a single income home. Even after taking from my 401k I am still extremely short of the funds needed for his treatment and I need all the help I can get.

Bella is my emotional support animal as a cancer survivor. I made it through my chemo and radiation treatments in 2023 and spent most of 2024 recovering and testing. I got Bella at 8 weeks and she was the light of my life a new beginning and opportunity to live my life again! She is my recovery and inspiration to get outside to walk, run and play! I’m not sure how much people know about Aussies but they are a herder breed and love you! She was simply on my lap and climbing up my shoulder giving me kisses and made her way up around my neck. Then she was playing and kissing me and fell off the back of the recliner where she sustained a spiral fracture to her tibia! Heartbreaking injury and she was in co much pain my heart sank… Bella is a young puppy and deserves the best life! Hopefully her surgery will get her back on her feet but these last weeks have been stressful for her and me and my wife. The splints have not worked but yet this loving dog still never meets a stranger and loves everyone! She is a gift that has been bestowed on my behalf to take care of her because my lord and savior took care of me! This is a going to be substantially challenging in terms of surgical expenses and out of nowhere and needless to say on top of insurmountable medical bills already…

Chloe, is a spirited 15-month-old standard poodle, and about 3 months ago, we adopted her and welcomed her into our forever home. She brings joy, laughter, and love to our family and I look forward to her growing up with our 1 year old daughter. Her playful spirit and loving nature has quickly made her an irreplaceable member of our household. The past few days have been incredibly challenging. On Thursday Chloe ingested a plastic toy that lodged in her intestine. She underwent a risky operation to save her life, and she is not out of the woods. Today we drove to another state to pick up additional plasma when the emergency vet ran out. She is at the Veterinary Emergency Group in Warwick, RI. When we adopted Chloe she came to us with severe anxiety and was afraid of people. She has grown to love us just as we love her and now she follows us everywhere in the house. She enjoys long walks and snuggling on the couch. She enjoys belly scratches and her favorite treat is chicken. I never could have imagined something like this happening. Thankfully, I have been approved to finance some of the costs, but the bill is already $10,000. I don't want to lose her and I'm doing all I can to save her, but with a baby the bills are already over our head.

Sweet Pea is our 12 year old rescue. She started life with our family as our son's autism service dog and was excellent at her job. We're currently homeless as a result of hurricane Helene, splitting time between our truck and with friends with our 4 dogs. She's got personality FOR DAYS. She's such a sweet, happy dog, especially since "retiring". Sweet Pea has swollen lymph nodes in her chest and what appear to be large skin tag type growths all over her chest and abdomen. She's not as active as she once was, but she's still down for a ride in the truck and a trip to the park or Starbucks for a pupaccino. She's a lover. We're thinking lymphoma is what's slowing her down, but we can't afford to take her or the others to the vet. Sweet Pea loves my 17 year old autistic son. She loves going to the park, walking on the shoreline at the lake, she loves bubbles, she loves my husband, she loves greeting customers at my husband's job. She gets along swimmingly with my 6 year old grandson, she is very suspicious of my 23 year old son though🤣 she looks like a chubby split chicken when she sploots We lost our home after a major hurricane, my husband is the only breadwinner in the home, as I am disabled. I lost my disability from social security because they said my husband makes too much money. We're paying to live in a single bedroom at a friend's house right now

Atlas found his forever home when he was a year old. He was rescued from a dog fighting ring. He would've died within 24hrs if my friend hadn't rescued him, because he refused to fight. Atlas is one of the most loving dogs I've ever met and hates aggression of any kind. His two favorite things to do in the whole world is cuddle and eat. His tummy rules his world. We started to suspect Atlas may have a brain tumor when he had a bad seizure and we thought he may have had a stroke as well. After looking up symptoms of a brain tumor we took him in and they did blood work to find his white blood cell count is way off. They told us he needs to see a neurologist and have an MRI done. He not only is our family but became our protector 5yrs ago when my husband died. If he's not cuddling with one of us he pouts. I joke around saying that he has more emotions than I do, and his feelings can be hurt easily. He loves to play with all of us including his 4yr old sister who's a dutch Shepard. They are the perfect example of unconditional love every day! NEVER any aggression. I am a single mom who is temporarily unemployed. The MRI he needs is $5,000-$6,000 and just to talk to the specialist cost almost $400. We truly can't imagine a single day without this big, lovable, goofball.
