Rhea embodies resilience. When we met at my local shelter, she was emaciated, heartworm (+), and discarded after breeding—yet her spirit remained unbroken. Now, she’s the heart of our home, full of love and grace. But at just 4 y/o, 6 mammary tumors threaten her future. After two layoffs, affording treatment is tough, but giving up isn’t an option. She deserves the chance to keep thriving. Rhea has mammary tumors, a common cancer in female dogs—half are malignant, making treatment urgent. Surgery is her best shot, but after two layoffs, affording it is a struggle. Still, giving up isn’t an option. Skeet Club Vet Hospital has been amazing, guiding us through this tough journey. Rhea finally has the love and safety she always deserved—now she just needs a chance to keep living it. Despite her past, Rhea is pure love. She adores people, other animals, and every adventure life offers. She’s an explorer on long walks, a squirrel chaser, a couch potato and a pro at sneaking snacks with her siblings. After everything she’s endured, she carries no bitterness—just joy, trust and endless love. She finally has the life she deserves; now, she just needs the chance to keep living it. After 2 layoffs, money is tight, and Rhea’s vet bills are overwhelming. But giving up isn’t an option. She’s fought so hard for the love and safety she has now—I just want to give her the chance to keep living it, happy and healthy, with her tail wagging and her heart full.

I got deuce from Scotland in 2023 right before the XL American been on the breed. They begin to tie their dogs to trees and a lot of people didn’t have anywhere to put the dogs because they were banning them so I brought him here from the UK to help him avoid mistreatment deuces my only family as I have no family where I stay so it’s predominantly just me and him 100% of the time so he means a lot Deuce has a very bad ear infection in which he has scratched off his hair and his ears closed shut and it bleeds continuously and he shakes his head continuously alongside the diarrhea and the blood in his stools so we really need help to get him to the vet to look at both of these causes because it’s gotten very bad because I’ve been trying to get the funds to take into a vet Deuce is a couch potato that loves to snuggle and be rubbed. He’s very spoiled as it’s just me and him so he’s used to getting robbed all day every day he likes to play and bring you toys for others to play with him. He’s a lover boy, and loves the ladies. He also sleeps a lot as that’s a sport for him. I had a job that I was able to suffice and pay bills and things with, but I lost that job and I’m barely able to afford bills to keep food in our mouth and a and a roof over our heads

Milly is a 10 year old female American Bully that is like our baby. We have raised her from 6 weeks old and she means the world to us. She has recently went blind and has lost a rapid amount of weight. Today when we woke up one of the eyes she is blind in is completely purple now. We saw Dr. Hailee serafin today on Dutch app and she told us to get her in somewhere immediately but we have no money She is completely blind and she has lost a lot of weight in just a few weeks. One of her eyes is now completely purple which we were told could be a blood pressure issue or kidney issue and it needs to be addressed asap. I don't get paid until the first of next month due to starting a new position in the oil field and sadly this came at a time when we just paid all bills and a house payment. Our Milly means the world to us. She follows us everywhere we go and goes everywhere with us when we go places. She has been right by our side for 10 years and has been like our child. We are devastated and desperate to find her help and we are doing everything we can which brings us here today. We don't want to lose her. This could not have happened at a worse time. We just paid all our utilities and house payment and I just started a new job and won't get paid until the beginning of May and sadly she may not make it that long. We really need help.

This fluffy intuitive bundle of love happened to be the runt of a litter. He fell into my life at a very tumultuous time and he has literally become my emotional support. When it was time to take him for his follow up with our vet, I found out he had a heart murmur so they didn’t want to put him to sleep to neuter him. He thinks he’s got a lot of admirers as it is!! lol! It keeps me on my toes! This is my best friend and fur love of my life! He is an amazing pup. He’s lovable, protective and loves to go for rides. He also loves chasing sea birds at the beach!! He likes to taste the sand too, lol. He loves belly rubs, being with his “ humans”, and loves all other animals! Cheese is his favorite treat. I have been out of work due to a blown right knee pending surgery, and just got out of the hospital this past Sunday from 2 lower back surgeries.. These unexpected medical issues have prevented me from getting his shots, his heart murmur checked, and his heart worm / flea treatment for the year.He is currently suffering from a chronic allergic reaction which causes him to be miserable itching! It is due to my unforeseen medical conditions that has put him in this position and it breaks my heart that because of being out of work a significant extended time I am currently unable to provide him the comfort in his health he deserves and rx meds for itch & heartworms

Hello everyone. This is the story of my baby Gus. He is the only dog I have ever had that was "planned." See, I had his daddy Buster for about 9;years before he started getting sick. We knew he wasn't going to be around much longer, so my mother suggested we breed him with her female and said I could have the pick of the litter. That pick was Gus. So I have had Gus his entire life, almost 15 years now. He has always been healthy and well cared for. But recently, he has started dragging his back legs. He can't even stand up any more. The vet says it will require an expensive Spinal surgery that, we cannot afford after losing my job. I refuse to euthanize him over something that can be corrected, but we desperately need help!! Gus has always been an honry boy! Very protective over me. But playful with his adopted sister Abbey. Now all he can do is lay down and sit. He face shows so much sadness when he wants to do something and knows he cannot. Something as simple as getting up to get a drink or go outside with the other dogs. It just breaks my heart. I can't lose him over this. Please help if you can. Recently we had the floods from Hurricane Helene and a lot of businesses had to close. My job was at one of those businesses. So I lost my job and have not been able to regain steady employment. I stay home with Gus as I'm so afraid to leave him alone. Trying to find wfh job

Despite his rough start, he’s full of love, goofy energy, and slobbery kisses. Now, he needs urgent surgery, and I need your help to give him the healthy future he deserves. Every donation means the world to us! He is enduring severe pain from Osteochondritis, a debilitating joint condition. He urgently requires arthroscopic surgery on both shoulders at CARE Surgery Center to alleviate his suffering and prevent further complications. Without this procedure, his pain will intensify, severely limiting his mobility and quality of life. Please help give this gentle giant the relief he desperately needs. His intelligence shines during training sessions, where he quickly masters new commands, often with a proud wag of his tail. Despite his size, Kyson is a cuddle enthusiast, believing he’s the perfect lap dog, and will nuzzle into family members, offering warmth and affection. His playful spirit extends to both humans and other dogs, making him a beloved companion. Finances haven't been the best and despite applying for grants and seeking assistance from various organizations, we’ve been unable to secure the necessary funds.

Hi all, Lillie Pie came into my life as a rescue. She has been a absolute joy since. She has a sassy personality. She is so smart, beautiful and caring. She is a protector. She has been through a lot in her life. And got me through many hard times in mine. She lost her eye due to the vet giving the wrong eye drops. So I have to get her to the eye specialist asap to save her only eye. Thank you! My girl has a cyst on her lower eye lid. As you can see in the close up pictures. It's growing pretty quickly. She need to see the eye specialist and have it removed. He says it's a painful place to have a cyst. It breaks my heart every day to see her like this. She's such a strong loving girl and I would love to get her well again. Lillie has many friends. She loves babies, kids and anyone who crosses her path. She's very goofy and enjoys the crowds. She's never met a dog she couldn't win over. She loves her toys. But mostly loves her outfits. She has more dresses then I do. Lillie is stubborn like no other. It's Lillie way. She will plop on the ground and wait till night time if she doesn't want to leave her Friends. I had gas sprayed into my eye at the gas station due to a faulty pump. I've been out of work for a few months. Funds are extremely tight right now. Lillie has suffered enough in her short life. I want to continue to give her the best life possible.

This handsome boy is Mazapan named after a hispanic treat. He is a rescue that I adopted out of the shelter he is my first ever rescue and even though I have only been with him for 5 days he is the most cuddly and sweetest dog I have ever met. Two days of him being home he fell extremely ill didn’t want to stand sit or eat and began wheezing and vomiting. I rushed him to the hospital and told me he had severe aspirated pneumonia due to his neuter that he had 3 days prior to me adopting him. He was immediately hospitalized as I stepped foot into the hospital and was told how severe he was. His lung were filled with mucus. Despite this cutie being in a shelter, undergoing surgery, being adopted and brought into a new environment and falling extremely ill and only being 7 month he continues to try to be a happy puppy even in the hospital feeling his worst he still gave everyone a tail wag even if it was a little one and still tries to have a burst of energy even though he has cough attacks that occur often for him. This was an unexpected medical cost that I didn’t think would happen in the matter of having him for two days. I am having to go into debt since I unfortunately only make enough for rent, bills and groceries. He’s still isn’t in the clear and there are more vet visits.

We live alone in a house in Brockport where there’s wildlife And Woods Luke likes being outside. I chose Luke to be his name As I chose it from the Bible because I think it fits him and it was on heart at the time. I am looking for temporary one time assistance as Luke got into rocks and ate a bunch of them and now may require surgery I will find out tomorrow morning Was told that the surgery may be more than 3000. I’m just asking for a little bit of help if that would be possible as this was an unexpected significant expense. Today I brought him in and had to pay for the x-ray medical examination and tomorr Has been a great contribution to my life I’m a disabled veteran and he helps me to keep my mind on the right things We live alone in the house and he is my company My best friend. He’s my shadow And doesn’t like to be alone as he does have separation anxiety He loves food and loves to eat anything he can get his mouth on, which is why he’s in this predicament I am in the process of losing my job due to the federal cut. As I may be losing the job soon here I will be financially strapped. With this unexpected significant expense my expenditure will be higher than my income
