We got blu from a friend of ours last winter, my son and I fell in love with her and so we started letting her come in the house to stay out of the cold... we have 2 other dogs kilo and dozer... both of them are males so she's the only girl... she is called blu because of her eyes... she went from being a beautiful akita to a mangy looking mutt... and she just lays around depressed all the time... she has a terrible smell... her skin is always crusty and scabbed... she has lost all of her fur basically and so much weight... the other 2 don't have any issues like she does... taney county veterinary services is where I will be taking her... She loved to play especially in water... she loved chasing things... her and my son were best friends... she helps me when my depression gets to be overwhelming... but since she got sick... she doesn't even like to get out of bed herself... I can't handle seeing her like this anymore... I barely make enough to pay my bills... I'm just hoping it's not something that's going to require a whole life change for her...

Onyx is a labradoodle and has been in my life since 2021. I got him my senior year of college as I was enduring a lot of personal issues and depression and he saved my life. Since then he has been my best friend and the reason I live. He recently had a drastic situation where he ingested a foreign object which resulted into him needing surgery for an obstruction in his stomach. I want to save my baby and not give him up because of this My pet is special because he is the strongest boy I know. We have been through so much together and he has always stayed by my side. We are a package deal and it pains me to see him in this condition knowing I could have him back if I just had the money. I am a recent grad student that lives in their own. My dog's name is One. He was rescued from a groomer who originally named him One. One is a goofy, loving, and incredibly attentive companion. He always seems to sense when I'm feeling down and stays by my side, offering comfort. His playful personality brings joy and laughter to everyone who meets him. Whether it's his silly antics or his affectionate nature, One can always brighten up any room. One needs a professional dental cleaning due to years of plaque buildup. Additionally, one of his canines has a small chip, which may require further evaluation. The veterinarian has recommended that One be put under anesthesia for the procedure to ensure a thorough cleaning and proper care. While this is a routine process, I want to ensure the best and safest treatment for him. One has a special way of making everyone love him, but to me, he is more than just a pet—he is my comfort and healing. He came into my life when I was struggling with anxiety and PTSD, offering love and support during my darkest moments. He loves running outside, playing, and seeking attention from other dogs. His joyful, loving spirit brings endless happiness, and I can’t imagine life without him I never expected to get a dog after losing mine before college, but One became my comfort. As a college student and athlete, I can’t afford his dental care. Without a job or the ability to work, I need help covering the cost to keep him healthy and happy.

Scarlett was originally dropped off at our local pound. Whoever left her did it in the middle of the night so there's no way of telling her previous situation. We just happened to meet her when we volunteered to go walk some of the dogs and we couldn't leave without her. We knew she was perfect for our family and our other rottweiler Nala. We noticed Scarlett limping a little so we took her to our vet, Westview Veterinary Clinic, in Fremont, Ohio. She seemed to show the signs of arthritis but after some xrays, it was shown that she had torn both of her ACLs. We think it happened by slipping on ice outside. Scarlett is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. She LOVES attention and just always being by someone's side at all times. Even with 2 torn acls, it's nearly impossible to crush her spirit. As long as she has her toys and someone to pet her, she's the happiest dog on the planet. The last couple months have been rough to say the least. At the same time Scarlett was diagnosed with the ACL tears, our other dog, Nala, was diagnosed with bone cancer. In literally the same exact appointment. Between the two dogs, we are honestly drowning in bills.

Freddy is a 2 year old Dachshund in Saint John, NB, who needs $1,500 for Removal of Urinary Stones.

Freddy came into our lives to be a brother to his one year older brother Tony. He is the sweetest little fella with a mischievous personality and always so curious and playful. Freddy developed a UTI and had to be put onto antibiotics, he has had an ultrasound and has crystals and stones in his bladder. I am trying to come up with $1500.00 for his surgery. He is on a special diet but still is having difficulties with urinating reoccurring UTI’s. Despite his situation he tries to be as happy as possible. My urgency is having his surgery done before he can not pass urine. Freddy is the youngest of 2 dachshunds. He is a wire haired and his brother Tony is a smooth hair golden in colour. They are best buddies and popular around town ever where we go. Cruise ships come into port here and tourists are always stopping to admire and pet them. I am on a fixed income and was a victim of fraud in the last couple of months. I have had a difficult time recently financially and trying to save my net for Freddys surgery but worry I will not be able to have it saved in enough time. l would be so thankful for any help.

This is Fergie. I adopted her almost one year ago from a shelter. Fergie just turned 5 but has had a very tough beginning. For the first four years of her life, she was in a hoarding situation, in a kennel, only used for breeding. When I adopted her they said she may not be very social but she loved every person and animal she meet. I don’t know who saved who. Fergie has a mast cell tumor that needs to be removed to prevent it from spreading. She has gone from my little shadow to resting. The wonderful vet services at Union Hill Animal Hospital take special care during surgery, because of their airways. Frenchies airways are much different than most other pups. Fergie is so special to me. I rescued her but she actually rescued me. She makes me laugh constantly. We have to time walks though, because Fergie loves to stop and smell every flower, unique grasses, among other things. She absolutely loves kids and car rides. She’s been in many Ubers so any car that stops where they pick up, she tries to get in every car, including KCMO police car. I need financial assistance because even though I filed taxes in 2012, the state of KS is garnishing me for 6000. I only owed 2 dollars because I barely worked in 2012 because of my cancer.

I’m a disabled veteran and I’ve had my little Pekingese meaning since 2014. She’s my emotional support animal and is my constant companion 24 hours a day. I love her more than I can explain. Meiling needs lab work and surgery on her teeth. She probably will need two teeth pulled which has not been added to estimate vet gave me. Her mouth smells pretty bad though so I’m planning on two extractions along with estimate. Meiling is a Pekingese and was fully aware of her “Royalty “ from day one. I had a red velvet foot stool that she immediately adopted. My son and I call it her throne. She’s funny and smart and I cannot imagine my life without her. I want to keep her healthy as long as possible because she is everything to me. She loves to play with my son and he loves her too. I’m on a fixed income and receive VA disability and social security disability and it’s just not enough to pay for the surgery she needs. I’m struggling just to pay rent these days

We have always had pets in our home. We purchased Crixus and his sister Syrax from a friend back in July 2024. We had just lost our beloved boxer, Bella, in May 2024. The silence in our home was deafening and my friend had puppies for sale. We love and treat our animals like they are our children. As of late, our finances have taken a hit and we have no savings for emergencies. Crixus is limping on his front left paw. I have tried to identify the issue and he doesn't have a pain reaction to anywhere on that leg. He can not get comfortable and he is in obvious pain. He groans when trying to get settled. We are trying to get him seen in Premiere Pet Emergency Clinic in Monroe, La to get him relief. Crixus is a big teddy bear. He is very sweet and loved by his entire family. He is typically very playful with his sister and always propping up bext to someone for attention. I pay all of the bills with my income. My wife cleans houses for a living. Her income is what we use to get by between my checks and she helps cover things like this, an emergency. She has hardly worked since the holidays. It is braking our hearts to see Crixus like this.
