Buddy came Into my life In 2019 two weeks after my 11 year old dog passed.my neice found him on craigslist they were rehoming him. I've had Buddy since he was 1 and a half..He's been with me 5 years.He just turned 7. I have another dog whoIs 5 she Is buddy's daughter one of buddy's 7 kids..6 months after having him he became a dad.they love each other she Is the boss..He came named already I am looking to treat his severe dental disease,Buddy got really sick so I called another vet Mill Valley Veterinary In Beltchertown,We went Jan 27 while there for his teeth I found out Buddy has type 1 diabetes.His blood count was over 500.I was shocked and devastated.so we got him on Insulin,He's In pain I can't fix his teeth financially and I can't lose my boy he saved me when no one else could Buddy is a talker he loves his walks car rides playing with other dogs being outside tanning.he loves everyone.he will give you his paw go to his bed he speaks he's an excellent guard dog.he snores like a human.he loves kids.he pretends to bite.he hates fire works.he doesn't like the rain.hes my boy I can't imagine life without him.he has play dates with other dogs. I got hurt at work 11 years ago.and am on disability I can't afford anything over 300 with my pets It would take me over a year to try and save what Buddy needs for his teeth sometimes I go without so he can have what he needs.my boy is suffering and I can't do anything

A little over 3 years ago Paris was rescued from an overbreeding situation. She now is the only dog in the household, but has a bunny sibling named Coco Puff. Her name came from her dad's last name being France, so we thought it would be cute/funny to name her Paris. Paris became acutely ill in the last few days and her liver issue progressed very quickly. She had to be rushed to the internal medicine department at NC State Veterinary Hospital e so they could figure out what was going on. It was discovered that her liver was not properly functioning. She had to have surgery to have a liver biopsy and also needed a blood transfusion. Paris is a loving, sweet, and gentle dog. She loves to lay on the couch wrapped in a blanket to sleep. When she is not taking her beauty rest she is running around outside and barking at everyone that passes by. While Paris is shy at first when meeting new people, once she trusts you she loves to cuddle and play with I am a 3rd-year veterinary student who lives on a fixed income. As a veterinary professional, I understand the expenses that occur with unexpected illnesses, and I am trying to do my best to provide Paris with the best care to give her the best chance at survival.

My beautiful Stella is 8. I was diagnosed with a serious illness she saved me w/love, cuddling always by my side I love her so much. She is always always very excited to see me. And she literally basically sleeps on top of me and takes up the whole bed, but I wouldn’t give it up for the world Stella suffered from severe allergies I think that’s what they are but my main concern is her toenails right now they’re very long and I’m too scared to cut them myself and I do not have the money to go to a vet. I currently do not have a vet because I just moved back into the area, but I’m desperate. I’m concerned that her toenails are curling into the paw. They’re very very close to paw pad I consider my Stella a diva she’s very picky of what she eats. She is sweet loves people cries when she sees children cause she just wants to go up and play with them. She knows when I’m sad. She knows when I’m happy. She knows when my illness is taking over me and she just lays right next to me until I feel better. She saved my life I was diagnosed with the serious disease. I will eventually need a transplant. I live off of SSD, which all goes to bills and rent. I’m too scared to do it myself. I’ve asked vet hospital for help but No one will help me

We rescued Stella as a puppy. Her mom and 6 siblings were found nearly all starved to death. We have had her now for almost 2 years. I named her Stella because while watching Morden Family, when they would call out Stella, my Stella’s ears would perk up. She was 10 weeks old when we adopted her. She has an older brother Shiloh and two cat siblings. She loves to play with Shiloh the most. When Stella was 3 months old she started whimpering and we could tell her hips were sore. X-rays confirmed she was born with hip dysplasia. Our vet wants us to wait a few more years before surgery. Two weeks ago she couldn’t put weight on her left back leg, she has developed an ACL tear in her left back leg which requires surgery to at least get to her baseline of quality of life. We always say Stella is a People person’. She is so excited to see everyone all the time. If you walk out of the room and came back through the door she is just as excited as if you have just got there. She is so goofy and lovable. Always wanting to play or get a good belly rub. We are your average middle class family, just making enough to get by. The cost of this surgery is not something we would be able to come up with in our own.

Nova is our dog, Nikki's, pup. I was a few months pregnant when Nikki had her and I instantly fell in love. We weren't looking to get another dog. We have another named Nala who is 14 yrs. But we couldn't leave Nova behind. We always thought it was funny that we each had a dog with a name starting with 'N' before we got together, so we decided to use an 'N' name. We also have a 1 yr old daughter. At 3 months, Nova was having pain when picked up and would pee herself in fear when we got near her. She was diagnosed with a spinal infection and given steroids and antibiotics which helped. Months later she developed bumps all over her body. We tried allergy and fungal treatments and none worked. Now after getting X-Rays, we suspect spondylosis but need to go to a neurologist official diagnosis. Nova has always been a very sweet and friendly dog. She was always so playful and loved to antagonize her mom. She would always play with our Chihuahua, Nala, very gently and carefully. She listened so well we didn't even need to train her. She caught on quickly to things by watching Nikki. She even taught herself how to play fetch. Even now she's still such a sweet girl. We bought our first starter home just a few months ago after looking for years. We were so happy to finally have a home for our family. We still have some fixing up to do which will cost a lot. My boyfriend took a huge pay cut at work when we moved.

We believe we rescued blue we found him on Craigslist and when we went to pick him Up he was in really rough condition. Very skinny and he smelled like urine, had cuts all over him. The day we picked him up his eyes were like a baby baby blue and so pretty so that’s how we came up with his name. Weve had him since he was 6 months old so almost his entire life. Only animal in the home Blue has a bad leg, we already had the surgery once which was 4,000 and the surgeon was not board certified and the surgery failed we got a second opinion and are now being told it wasn’t his acl this whole time it was his meniscus so we now need another 4k to do another surgery in less than a year our vet is North Paws in Smithfield Ri Blue is spoiled he loves to eat his carrots at night as well as his doggy ice cream. He’s an attention seeker and wants all eyes on him at all times. He loves to play with his teddy bears and cuddle on the couch We just paid for a surgery not even a year ago and with the economy how it is I just don’t have the funds for a second surgery. With having just paid for the last surgery I just am struggling

Millie

Millie, came to us 3 years ago when her current owner no longer wanted her. Millie, is very loving and we love her but she has a mouth infection and a few bad teeth. The vet said it would be about 350.00 to take care of it but my work is slow and I just don't have it. Millie has a bad mouth and teeth infection that needs meds, teeth extractions and so on. She can barely eat cuz it hurts. The vet clinic is Jacksonville animal hospital. If I cannot get up the money I will half to surrender her or put her down. She's already been abandoned by her first owner. Millie is very sweet who loves people and other animals. She loves to go for rides and get under ur shirt to warm up. Unlike the chiwawa breed,millie dose not have an aggressive bone in her body. I live pay check to pay check and I have 2 kids. My work is slow and I have no more emergency funds left. I had to use it a few months ago when the poor baby had a bladder stone.

Kia was born into my family, and has been very much a member of the family, I doubt she knows she's a dog. Recently, she has developed a fast growing, malignant tumor. Vet bills are already over $500, and I'd like to help my father raise the $1000 needed to have this tumor removed. The tumor is quickly making her quality of life diminish, and no one wants to put this sweet girl down Kia has a softball size tumor on her jaw/neck. It grew from the size of a quarter in just a couple months. Ferndale Vet Hospital(in Ferndale, Was) has quoted roughly $1000 to have it removed after biopsying it. Kia saved my dad's life when his trailer caught fire several years ago, persistently waking him up. They've been inseparable since. Kia is very much a part of the family. All daily activities(work, car rides, even dinner:) this girl comes along. My dad has recently started his own business and it's been pretty slow. I'm sure it will pick up, but in the mean time, kia needs this tumor removed, and $1000 just isn't feasible right now.

Best Furry Friend I have only one eye and no one wanted me. My first mommy died it was 2 days before we were found I scared until I saw my daddy He picked me up took me home to give you the best home, the most love ever Polo has a none malignant canal tumor in the middle & inner ear The tumor has grown big has over taken his ear, it can grow into other aears of his face and he will die It breaks open and bleeds he has ear infections a have loss of balance head tilt and some loss of coordination and he is in pain When I divorced my wife, and being seriously ill I didn’t have a close friend left Having rescued Polo he was the only reason I still had a desire to live We love each other unconditionaly Having a cronic disease with Polo I feel safer and claim. Polo loves everyone and brings joy to everyone He will always give me love kindness support whenever I need it. He loves all pupoy dogs and children had a esophageal cancer. Two years later were the surgery was performed all came apart and I was bleeding and leaking gastric acid in my stomach. Emergency surgery was preformed. I developed peritonitis and sepsis, As a result I could not work and I still battling it
