Norman came into my life when my friends found him alone in the forest. I had been looking for a cat for so long, and he just fell into my lap. Over the past six months, he’s been my rock, keeping me stable and giving me a reason to take care of myself. I love him more than anything, and I don’t know what I’d do without him. Now, he needs help, and I can’t afford it. Norman suddenly got sick, and I rushed him to the vet. They said he has a urinary blockage, which is deadly if not treated immediately. He needs emergency surgery, but they won’t do it unless I pay upfront. I don’t have the money, and without help, he won’t make it. I love this cat more than anything, and I can’t lose him. If you can donate or share, it could save his life. Norman is so special because he’s not just a cat—he’s my best friend. He’s a shoulder kitty, always climbing up to be close to me. He’s incredibly friendly and playful, always reminding me that there’s a brighter side to life. No matter how hard things get, he keeps me going. He gives me a reason to smile, to be responsible, to keep moving forward. I love him more than anything. I just lost my job and only just got a new one—I haven’t even started yet. Even if I was working, I don’t have $4,000 to give a vet right now. Norman needs emergency surgery, and without it, he won’t make it. This is so urgent. Found Lottie on Craigslist. We've been together for 9 years. Lottie has 2 doggie sisters, Princess and Tia. Lottie is named after one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite movies. Lottie from Princess and the Frog. Lottie has a mass on her hip that the vet at Crystal Creek Animal Hospital had though was a lipoma. She originally had no reaction with it being touched but she's starting to react negatively when someone is poking or squeezing it. We took her in for a needle biopsy on 1/24/25. There was not cancer diagnosis but the vet is still concerned for cancer. He recommended a surgery biopsy/removal. Lottie is my first baby. She has been with me throughout my 20s as I try to figure out my life. She's the reason I met my husband, she was a flower girl in our wedding, and has always filled our lives with joy. Lottie and I have been through hard times but we have always been strong. Due to dog attack we both learned we would jump in front of danger to save each other. I am a contractor artist and earn my pay through commission. It isn't a set income and it can vary depending on sales. My husband's paycheck is mostly used to cover our health insurance. We do have pet insurance but it is difficult to pay upfront until reimbursed.

I adopted Kosmo in 2020 when he was only 3 months old. Right away we became instant friends. I call him my Super Buddy. We play fetch, and he’s a very talkative little dude. He’s a happy boy who enjoys looking out the window at birds, deer and the occasional fox. My little dude has several teeth that need to come out. He was born with a condition that makes him reject his own teeth. He recently had a cleaning at Timberlake Animal Hospital and that’s when the issue was discovered. Kosmo has an older sister named Miss Peep who is quite grumpy, but they will still cuddle on occasion. Everyone that meets Kosmo always says how handsome he is. Very shy boy, but an absolute sweetheart. I live alone on one income. I don’t have insurance for myself as I can’t afford it. But I will do whatever it takes to make sure my Kosmo is happy, healthy and living his best live possible.

Polo

Polo is a 5 month old German Shepherd Dog in Willowbrook, IL, who needs $2,000 for Heart Echo, Ultrasound, Abdominal Surgery.

We adopted Polo shortly after we lost our 9 year old German Shepherd rapidly to cancer. Polo and his human sister share a birthday so we thought it to be fate! He the most gentle loving dog and such a great addition to our family. This past weekend our Polo became very ill unable to keep down water and food. After 3 ER visits, we discovered that Polo has a intussusception. It quickly became clear to us that Polo needed emergency surgery if he was going to live. The medical bills for Polo have quickly added up as we give Polo a fighting chance. Polo is such a special puppy because he helps our toddler daughter who struggles with anxiety and fear. He is a wonderful companion who just got a rough start on a hopeful long life. He is just 5 months old and deserves a fighting chance. As I, personally, have struggled with medical issues this year- we are already in some medical crisis and trying to pay what we need. It would mean more than the world to have Polo back in our house healthy and happy again.

Biscuit was a gift for my children. I was able to purchase Biscuit as a gift from my late father, their grandfather. My now adult children were 10 years old at the time. They were both having a difficult time in school. I remember bringing Biscuit home. He changed their lives! He brought them and myself so much joy.! Biscuit still lives in the same loving home. He means so much to us. Biscuit is suffering from a sensitive condition. He was recently diagnosed with a perineal hernia. It is extremely painful for him, especially during elimination. ( He actually screams) He is currently medically comfortable. Biscuit needs a very expensive surgery to prevent further injury. The name of the surgery center is Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists, Hunt Valley, Maryland. Biscuit is special to us because he brings us all comfort. For my daughter, he keeps her company. For my son, he is like a best friend. For me, he reminds me of the love that my father gave to all of us. When I visited my dad, he would always ask, “How is Biscuit?” He is a loving dog who is kind to those who are kind. He is a strong protector despite his small stature. He is a barker, but loved! This surgery is necessary and was a sudden expense. Further injury can happen at anytime. The surgery is expensive. Euthanasia was an option presented. That would break our hearts in this season. Ironically this is my birthday season (Dec. 4th). The help would be a gift! 🎁

I adopted Zoe as a puppy. We live in a trailer on my tiny farm with a donkey, some chickens, and a horse and a cat in Plymouth Mn. We moved from Florida 2 years ago. My dog Zoe has 2 torn ACLs. One of them is really bad, the other one not so bad, she’s on pain meds and I have a new brace coming for her leg. She goes to Gehrman vet clinic in Plymouth Mn. Zoe is one of the happiest dogs ever!! She loves playing with other dogs, she’s sweet, and just wants to be loved!! She loves toys and bones. She loves her cat. She loves all the farm animals. She makes friends everywhere She goes with her sweet disposition. She is one of the best dogs I’ve ever had!! She smiles every time she sees you! I am disabled. I have a fixed income. I have very little funds to pay for her surgery! I’m begging for help for my sweet girl!! I’m crying as I type this because she’s in so much pain! She’s on pain meds, but this is something I need to get done soon for her. She’s only 2!

I adopted Bea in 2018, and she's been my friend and companion through lots of ups and downs. She met James in 2021 and immediately loved him (it helped that he was prepared with a bag of treats for her), and a couple of her favorite activities are listening to him play guitar and watching baseball games with him. Our home wouldn't be complete without her regal and affectionate presence. We noticed a small lump on Bea's ribs last year, which the vet said was nothing to worry about at that time. It's grown a lot recently, to about 12 cm. The new vet at Washington Dog and Cat Hospital did not find evidence of cancer after the initial test, but they said the growth needs to be removed to be sure. It's conitinuing to grow and is starting to affect her mobility. Bea has always been talkative - she chirps back to us whenever we talk to her. She's gotten lazier as she's aged, usually prefering naps, treats, and getting brushed to strenuous activity. But she still goes into "crazy mode" at night sometimes and zooms around the house, and loves sitting on the porch in the sun to watch the birds. Having to leave my job, dealing with my own health issues, and trying to keep up the work of planning our wedding have made this a very stressful time, emotionally and financially. We do not want Bea to suffer from lack of needed care.

Pepper

Pepper is a 6 year old Australian Cattle Dog in Fort Collins, CO, who needs $2,000 for Spay for Pyometra (Infected Uterus).

Pepper was born in the back of a jeep on a four wheeling trail and was adopted. She spent majority of her days riding around in a jeep with her dad. In the last year she has gained two new siblings Hudson and Maisey. They have become a tight pack and adore spending their time in the backyard playing and wrestling. Pepper has developed Pyometra (infection in the uterus) and needs an emergency spay. She developed lethargy and stopped eating Friday 4/26 and has declined from then. Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency Hospital was the vet I had taken her to that discovered her situation. Pepper has always been a caring motherly figure to other dogs. Especially ones of the small variety as she was adopted into a household of three miniature dachshunds. Every dog is special to an owner who cares. This dog has saved my life on multiple occasions when she was the only other living being around, now I’m doing whatever I can to return the favor. This sudden emergency has come at a time where I do not have enough savings to be able to cover the full cost of surgery. Pepper has been around through thick and thin and is a very loved and important family member to our pack. I want to do whatever we can to save her.

Taki

I rescued Taki and her sister Fritto at 3 weeks old. I bottle fed and raise both girls and they have become a huge part of our tiny family. It is just me and my son, life isn't as boring now with them 2 in it. Taki is a sweet and spicy kitty that loves children, babies especially and her laser pointer. I honestly think her sister is her favorite being to be around most days. They are completely inseparable. Taki has a foot fetish, she likes to sniff toes and hide things in your shoes. Her favorite "toys" are the small rolls of surgical tape I forget in my pockets from work. Tonight I rushed her to the emergency vet because she was lethargic and had extremely white gums. She has a internal bleed that they can't find the cause for. She's extremely anemic and is hypothermic. She needed a blood transfusion and fluids. She's currently in ICU and has a 50% chance of coming home. I am a single mom barely making it by, and i was finally saving to buy our first home. Now the little I have will go to bills. I cannot afford the now $6,000+ and I'm begging for help. She deserves a chance at life!
