Boomer

I brought Boomer home in April 2024 when he was just a tiny puppy. He lives with me and my 10-month-old kitten, Suki, whom he is the playful, annoying "big brother" to. Boomer loves all animals and people but gets overly excited meeting everyone. He fills our home with energy, joy, and love every day, making life brighter despite how uncomfortable he is right now. Boomer urgently needs veterinary care for serious ear problems. His left ear has yellow discharge and swelling, and he scratches it so hard he scrapes his skin. His right ear has thick brown, sticky yeast-like discharge. Both ears are swollen, with crusty buildup and thinning hair. I’d like to take Boomer to All Valley Pet Clinic before his discomfort worsens and could cause long-term damage. Boomer is hilarious, mischievous, vocal, and full of personality. He gives the best hugs, barks for attention, and jumps excitedly if I say, "I come back," not wanting me to leave without him. He loves car rides, visits with his favorite Uncle Marvin, pup cups from Starbucks, and comforting me when I'm sad. He's goofy, smart, affectionate, and my best friend who deserves relief. I am on a limited income and was not prepared for this urgent vet expense. Supporting Boomer would relieve his constant discomfort, restore his health, and allow him to continue being my loving, energetic companion. He would also remain Suki's playful, annoying "big brother.

Luna

Luna is a 9 Year Old Mix-Breed in Chelsea, ME, Who Needs $2,000 for Unilateral Mastectomy.

Luna has been with us for 8.5 years. I took her and her brother in when a coworker was moving and could not take them with her. I had just lost the cat I had since I was a teenager, so I originally said no, but after meeting them both, I knew it was meant to be. I brought Luna to Androscoggin Animal Hospital in Topsham, ME after feeling a lump on her belly. She was found to have a mass on her mammary chains, which in cats is cancer 90% of the time. It currently includes two of her mammary chains on one side, but is known to be fast-growing and to spread to lymph nodes and lungs. She needs a mastectomy as soon as possible, before it has a chance to spread. Luna is such a special girl. She loves to cuddle and be held; she would love for me to carry her around all day if I could. She loves meeting new people and if anything interesting is going on, she has to be right in the middle of it checking it out. We currently only have one income due to health issues. We also lost one of our three cats just 3 days before we got Luna's likely cancer diagnosis, after spending what we had trying to save him. We are so worried we will lose her too if she can't have her surgery.

We rescued Aela from a local PetSmart (via the Rescue Network). She has been with us for about a month. We have no other pets in our home, so we are able to focus all of our attention on love on her. We have 2 kids (6yo & 3yo) and Aela gets on great with them. Aela unfortunately broke the femur bone on her rear left leg. She was originally seen at Banfield in Burnsville however their quote was $7500-$10000. We have taken her to Mission Animal Hospital instead and they have given us an estimate of $3019.49 Aela is an unbelievably sweet kitten. She purrs so much and is certainly a people person. She always makes us all laugh with her crazy zoomies. She absolutely loves to chase a laser pointer or her favorite koi fish on a string. The first night we brought her home she just kept continuingly purr and rubbing up against us, my wife believes that she was thanking us for rescuing her. We are a paycheck to paycheck family. I work a full time job of 40 hours as my wife watches the kids and when I get home my wife goes to work and works around 20 hours a week. We cannot afford this surgery at all and help would be immensely helpful!

We got Mellie as a puppy 9 years ago. She’s always been such a central part of our lives and has been a constant companion to her two sisters. Earlier this year she lost one of her sisters to GDV and she has been struggling with grief, but has at least had her other sister to keep her company. They usually play together and spend every moment of every day together, especially working from home. Mellie started having issues with eating a little over a week ago and we took her to VCA Cottonwood in Utah to be evaluated as she could barely move. They had let us know that she looked okay, but does have a large amount of bladder stones that need to be removed. Without these she is not able ti function normally or even walk because of the pain of having them. It goes without saying that Mellie is such an important part of our family dynamic. Her and her sister have always been close and it is so heartbreaking to see that she can’t stay by her sister because of the illness she is facing and the amount of rest she is having because it’s easier than her doing anything physical. Even eating or drinking or going potty has been almost impossible for her. It’s been a very difficult year financially for everyone. Unfortunately we have lost both of our cars due to insurance totaling them out. We also had medical challenges with Mellie’s sister that came with unexpected medical bills. We just want to give her the care she needs.

I raised my little baby from a puppy I actually got her for mom but she took up with me and has been mine since she loves going outside and going bye bye but she hates the storms lol my baby is peeing blood with small clots coming out I took her to the vet to have a xray done and they said she has a stone that's way to big for her to pass so she needs surgery I don't have the funds and I'm scared I take her to Noah's Ark in Manchester Kentucky and the vet said that her surgery was going to cost anywhere from 500 to 800 and she has to have it done we're it's to big for her to pass My little baby is so scared of thunderstorms she will literally lay on top of your head if your asleep lol she loves to lay under the cover to sleep and right against you My baby is my world she is actually my child I have to have my baby she helps me when I'm sad and makes me laugh she is my world besides God she is my other happiness 😊

Lambeau

Lambeau came to us as a puppy. We are the only family he has ever known. We have 5 children and one other dog. Lambeau is 4 years old whole our other dog is 11years old. We sometimes watch our daughter's chocolate lab and her and Lambeau are the best of friends. They love to play together. We came home to find that Lambeau had lost use of his hind legs almost completely and was unable to urinate on his own. We rushed him into the emergency vet (blue pearl) and they said he may habe a slipped disk. We tried meds. When that was unsuccessful we took him to avondale. Thry did a laser treatment. That was unsuccessful so we took him to ISU vet hospital for spinal surgery and rehab. Lambeau is the sweetest dog ever. He has never lashed out or gotten aggressive with any other animal or person. He loves to ay with our 5 kids. I also run a childcare center and he loves to watch the little kids playing. He is a great big cuddler. He will ge the zoomies and then pass out sleeping at your feet. He has taught our daighter's dog how to play without hurting others. He is a leader! I have lost my second job a few months ago and it has put a strain on my family. We increased and maxed out cards for the treatment deposit but it will be so helpful if he can get continued care to give him the best possible outcome with rehab.

Sosa is a sweet-spirited and deeply loving 12-year-old Yorkshire Terrier with a resilient heart and a gentle soul. Over the years, Sosa has experienced a great deal. she's had multiple homes, and as a result, has developed understandable trust issues. But since coming into my life, she has found safety, care, and unconditional love in a warm, stable home that she shares with her brother, Liam Two years ago, Sosa developed a lipoma (a benign fatty tumor) in her groin area. We acted immediately, and the mass was surgically removed. Unfortunately, it has since returned, growing even larger than before, and is now impairing her mobility and comfort. Her care was received at Mobley Vet clinic here in Nashville, Tn Sosa is more than a pet, she’s my heart. She has been through so much, yet all she gives is love. She follows me everywhere, cuddles close when I’m sad, and still dances with joy when I walk through the door. She’s sweet, gentle, and endlessly loyal. Despite a rough past, she’s never stopped trusting or loving. Now, as she struggles to walk I just want to give her the comfort always she’s given me I’m a full-time student and a new mom, and right now, I’m struggling to afford the surgery my sweet dog Sosa desperately needs. Pluto

Pluto came into our lives Nov 8th 2024 @7pm. He was the 4th puppy born to our Catahoula pair. He had a rough birth as he wasn’t breathing but we got him breathing and all was good. After he got his first shots he contracted puppy strangles. Which has cleared up somewhat. While playing with his dad and big brother he got injured and has broken his leg at the knee. I’m looking for help to pay for his surgery to repair his leg as he broke it at the knee where the 2 bones are held together with the patella. He got injured playing outside with his dad and big brother. He has been looked at by the vet at Fisher Mills Vet clinic in Cambridge Pluto is a very happy puppy. Even with his leg broken he is always wagging his tail and coming to see everyone. He even still tries to play with the other dogs. He has had such a rough start to life but he is the happiest dog all the time. He love to carry a toy and talk to everyone he sees. Such a strong will to survive. I am not able to come up with the funds required to cover his surgery due to having to have pay funds out for his dad who got a total blockage and had to have emergency surgery. I really don’t want to have to put him down so looking for help.
