Gray Gray

Gray Gray is a 6 year old Russian Blue in Palm Bay, FL, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization.

Palm Bay, FL

My sweet Gray Gray came into my life a year and a half after I said goodbye to my dear cat, King. She's a rescue baby who came to me with her litter sibling, and I’ve had the joy of having her for six years now! Gray Gray shares her home with her sister, Lil Lil, and two adorable cousins. Originally, her foster parent named her Themela, but we thought Gray Gray was a better fit because of her fur. This weekend has been quite challenging for us. Our beloved Gray Gray got into some yarn, which hasn't sat well with her. She's been on and off vomiting, and we did the best we could to help her, but ultimately we had to take her to the hospital for a vet evaluation. Unfortunately, she's severely dehydrated, and there’s a concern that there may be a blockage in her stomach or intestinal tract. Originally, her foster parent named her Themela, but we thought Gray Gray was a better fit because of her beautiful silver fur and undercoat. She’s such a feisty little ball of energy and loves being around people—especially me! Gray Gray is always seeking attention from anyone who happens to cross her path, and she never fails to bring a smile to my face. Her favorite friend is her sister. It’s a tough time, and I'm reaching out in hopes that some kind-hearted individuals might be willing to help with the vet bill. Any support would mean the world to us. Thank you for considering it.

Ginger

Ginger is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Hillside, NJ, who needs $3,500 for Bladder Stone Surgery.

Hillside, NJ

Ginger came into my life two weeks ago after spending six long months at a shelter with no one wanting to take her home because she was an adult cat. The moment I saw her, we instantly connected. Since then, she's been my best friend, my emotional support, and the queen of the house. She's my only pet, and I couldn't imagine my home without her. I currently rent a apartment on my campus. When Ginger first came home, she began peeing blood. The shelter told me it was just stress, so l followed their advice, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something else was wrong. I decided to take her to the vet for a full checkup, including X-rays and bloodwork. We went to Kenilworth Animal Hospital, where the doctors discovered that Ginger has four bladder stones (high risk of blockage) Ginger is my emotional support animal, she sleeps with me, follows me everywhere, and somehow always knows when I'm sad. When I cry, she comes to gently groom me, almost like I'm her kitten. She always wants to be brushed, petted, and hugged, and she gets along with everyone she meets. Ginger has made my apartment feel like home and helped me not feel so alone after my dad passed. Please I'm not a bad pet parent,! cover Ginger's food, litter, toys, and vet care. This $3,500 surgery is unexpected, and her insurance won't cover it because it's pre-existing. I have a job and am a college student, and even with some emergency funds, I can't cover it all.

Loki

Loki is a 8 year old American Bulldog in Wilmington , NC, who needs $1,550 for Gastric Ileus Supportive Care.

Wilmington, NC

Loki was first introduced to me as my neighbors dog and from the very first time we met he was so oddly attached to me. I watched him grow up and was well aware of his bond w me. I moved and 3 years later over a hour away I got called to triage a critical patient and low and behold it was Loki barely alive mangled by housemates and they wanted to euthanize...he started his new life w me that day. Loki was being treated by the DVMs at my job for a suspected abdominal mass. Ultrasound sound was ordered but due to his stomach being overly full of food she couldn't see and told me to fast and come back. Rechecked X-rays. and due to size of stomach we went straight to eastern Carolina veterinary referral where he was admitted and treatment for gastric ileus began. Digestive tract was not workin Loki literally goes everywhere w me even to work everyday. He's just the best dog Its clear there is a huge bond between us and truthfully after he became mine he saved me from giving into suicide bc all I could think about was what's going to happen to him. He's going to miss me so much I can't do that to him and that's what kept me moving forward. He is my soul dog to know Loki is to love loki I just moved to a new town new job I already put about 800 into his care at my job and the ultrasound same day he's admitted and I'm staring at a $1550 bill and just dont have it.
