Gracie was a gift to me from an ex. He got her when she was only 6 weeks old. Interesting fact is that me and her share the same birthday! Gracie grew up with her best friend Levi, who was a chocolate lab. Unfortunately he passed in December of 2020. So it is just her, me, and my 6 year old daughter who absolutely loves her Gracie. Gracie is 8 years old but still acts like a puppy! A few months back Gracie got sick. She was vomiting for a day or 2 then it stopped and she was fine for about a week, then it started back up again and I rushed her into the vet. There was nothing that they could find so they gave her some anti-nausea meds and she was fine. During that check up was when the growth was discovered, and it has since got bigger and is affecting her everyday life. Gracie LOVES squeaky toys! She could go for hours playing fetch and she will bring it right back to your feet. She loves everyone she meets, all bark no bite. She has to show everyone her toys. Gracie is very afraid of ANY loud sound, especially rain and thunder. She will go in the bathtub when it storms. There has been less playing and eating because of the growth in her mouth. I am a single mom. I have 2 jobs, one full time and one part time. I have 3 people I clean for on a regular basis, and I do Instacart and amazon flex. On top of making sure I have quality time with my daughter. The cost outweighs my income.

In 2019, we adopted Charlie from a shelter in Atlanta. Found neglected and malnourished, he became a beloved family member. Yesterday, he was diagnosed with an intestinal obstruction and needs immediate surgery costing 5K-7K. As a single mom with two boys, this is beyond our means. We are heartbroken seeing him in pain. Charlie, a Labradoodle who is 7and weighs 60lbs, has been diagnosed with multiple obstructions in his small intestines that required surgical intervention. Charlie is truly one of a kind and holds a special place in our hearts. He gets along so well with my kids and his four-legged brother, who’s also adopted. His warmth and playful spirit light up our home, and his loving presence makes him an irreplaceable member of our family. he is a great cuddler. We're facing a tough financial situation because Charlie needs urgent surgery. The cost is a big strain on our budget, and we’re struggling to manage it. Having Charlie healthy again would mean everything to us. He’s not just a pet; he’s a beloved part of our family.

almost 9 years ago we got Roxie a female shepherd in upstate Vermont at 7wks old. she has been very healthy and always up to date with all her shots. Roxie has always lived at the same address since she was brought home. she is well behaved and so loving. Roxie started limping a few weeks ago and we weren't sure why we thought maybe it was the start of hip Displeasure so we had x-rays done at her vet and they found a torn C.C.L on her right rear leg along with some minor spine arthritis and start of hip Displeasure. North side Animal Hospital is Roxie vet. they gave us an estimate 5000.00 for leg surgery. we love Roxie like we love our kids she is family no matter what. we will be devastated if any thing happens to her she is one of the best things that has happened to us... great with family. my Husband suffered a massive heart attach and came very close to death. he has been put of Disability because he can no longer work i am the only one working now. if we can get help for her surgery it will be the world to us..my heart is broken because she is hurting.

The summer 2018 I left my life in California and relocated alone to Florida where i now live. I wanted a companion, so i went to the Pinellas animal services and adopted a dog named Reba estimated to be 9 years old. Reba was calm, quite and beautiful and still 6 years later all she wants is love and pats on the head from anyone generous enough to indulge her. Reba has been very healthy unlil lately slowling down in age. Yesterday she started breathing rapidly along with running a temperature and not acting herself. Ladt night i stayed up to look over her throughout the night and she has not improved. I am very worried as I think she is in discomfort or pain and i am taking her in on a emergency vet visit. Aa you can see in her photos and video Reba is great around my grandchildren and she watched them from babies throughout toddler stages. She is gentle, loves kids but mostly peole she meets on walks as well as four legged dogs of all sizes. She also has cat siblings that she has watched growup as well as a few foster pups. I couldn't ask for a better friend and companionship with any dog. I am simi retired with physical limitations due to spinal & cervical issues. run a small business to help fixed income. The slow economy & my physical limits & pain mmaes it hard to work enough to financially afford the cost of veterinarian care nnecessary.

I rescued Barkley when he was 4 to surprise my deployed husband! We now have 2 kids and Barkley and he is the sweetest big brother to them. He enjoys their pets and snuggles and running around outside. Barkley has cataracts in his eyes and has gone blind. He mostly has to stay in the house or on a lease now which is a big change for him. He loves running around outside and being with his human brother and sister. He has a hard time with stairs which makes traveling hard for him and since he is in an Air Force family this has been tricky. This surgery would give him his spunk back! Barkley is a snuggler! He loves cuddles and treats and being in the great outdoors. He doesn’t have an aggressive or mean bone in his body and I hope this surgery will allow him to travel more with us like he used to! He has a hard time navigating air bnb’s, new houses, and hotels. We cannot afford to give our dog this expensive surgery but it would mean the world to us and our children to have him back to his old self and able to play like he used to!

Bonnie is a 4 year old pitbull/border collie mix. She was rescued from the ACC when she was about 7 months. She lives with her older brother Mo, who is an 13 year old dachshund, my daughter, and my son. Recently diagnosed via punch biopsy with osteosarcoma (OSA) of the L shoulder. It is unclear at this time whether the tumor originates from the scapula, and while a primary tumor of bone is certainly possible, given the extent of soft tissue involvement and the mass-like area protruding from the L shoulder extraskeletal extension of OSA must also be considered. When I come home from school, spent by the 100 kids I teach each day, Bonnie will jump up and start kissing me, wiping away all the stress of the day. My daughter who struggles with depression, anxiety, and OCD. Bonnie has become her emotional support. When my daughter has an episode Bonnie will lick her and cuddle up next to my daughter. I am currently unemployed. I receive government assistance and/or food stamps. We do not have pet insurance. My family’s household income is below the poverty level. I need all the finical support I can get.

Apollo is the son of our other dog. He was born about five months ago and has been a ball of light ever since.He lives in our house with his dad and our cat. He got his name from the space craft. Apollo was shot in his hind leg when a stray bullet came through our house from a shooting that happened in our neighborhood. We took him to VCA Animal Hospital in Greenfield,WI where we were told he would need X-Rays and possibly surgery to remove the bullet. Apollo is an energetic puppy, he was awake and sitting up the whole ride to the hospital. He loves to play with our cat and our other dog. He loves “outside” and sleeping in our bed. What happened to Apollo was very sudden. We could have never expected something like this. We are a low income family seeking assistance from anyone who can help. Even though Apollo hasn’t been with us very long, he is still apart of our family and losing him would be tragic

Val Verde is the last pet hospital he seen. He has bad allergies with eventually lead to infections of the skin and yeast infections he scratches and itches until he bleeds. Debo loves mama which is me Jamie. He's a rlly good boy he loves his snacks his blankets toys treats and his bed the most he's a snuggler...he gets along great with everyone It would mean the world to not see my dog struggling and miserable anymore he has delt with this since he was a pup. Bad allergies that turn into either yest or bacterial infection
