Hi everyone, this is my cat Felix who I rescued about 2 months ago from my neighborhood. I first found her hanging out on my front yard fence and she looked so malnourished I quickly ran to the store got her some food and I fell in love with her she’s the sweetest thing ever she’s so affectionate and playful I’m here seeking urgent help for my kitten she’s been throwing up non stop, she’ll throw up after drinking or eating anything seems like she can’t keep anything down. She also is very lethargic not even much she does go to her litter frequently she also has diarrhea. She’s not interested in eating but she will drink water but then she’ll throw it up. My Felix favorite friends are my 2 dogs Toby and Roxy they love playing and running around the house as well as taking naps together. She’s super playful and loves to give affection and loves her snacks I’m a full time college student whose going through my own medical issues that have prevented me from working I take classes online and can’t really leave my house due to some mental disorders that I’m going through. My mom helps with the little she can she’s elderly.

I am pet lover. I have a turtle, cat and dog. I received Nova as a gift. Her markings remind me of a galaxy. She's fun and playful but has a mass under her eye. We have had 4 vet visits and the last visit said it would be over $1000.00 for surgery. We are a small family just my son and we are both really close to above Nova and concerned if nothing is done she can loose her eye. Nova likes to play with out cat King and his friend Monk. She's very agile and loves a good race. She loves to cuddle and keeps and eye on the home. She's the best at cheering me up after a long days. She's loves to eat, she can't get enough of bones and treats. She wants your attention and will make sure you see her she talks back and gets an attitude when she doesn't get her way. A true queen! Nova is has qualities that attracts the whole neighborhood. Her markings are unique blue merle. She's so gentle. She has a nature to want to snuggle all the time. She likes to get dressed and wear her sweaters. She's one of a kind, she gets so excited on our morning walks and struts the neighborhood. She was gift to get me walking after knee replacement surgery. She's helped me heal. Nova has a had a small mass since June under her eye. We went to the vet and we were told she has a clogged tear duct. Nothing serious, we did the course of antibiotics and help for a few weeks. On the 4th visit they said she needs anesthesia and exploratory surgery to remove the mass and it starts at $1000. She need to be spaded as well. This is a sudden unexpected expense. I have spent the money I put away on the other visits. It's becoming critical for her to have surgery. They said she could loose an eye if not. The abscess is moving her eye out of socket. We are great full for any donations to her vet.

Frankenstein is just a kitten, but in a matter of hours his playful energy turned into a fight for survival. It started with diarrhea. Then he began losing weight. Soon after that, he stopped eating. Earlier that afternoon, he had been running around and playing like any happy kitten. By that evening, he was too weak to do anything but cry out. His foster family knew something was terribly wrong, luckily A Tail in Need Animal Rescue rushed him to an urgent care clinic. After an evaluation, the veterinarians knew he needed more intensive treatment than they could provide. Frankenstein was immediately transferred to MetVet, where the emergency team worked quickly to save his life. When he arrived, his blood sugar and blood pressure were dangerously low, and his tiny body had become cold. Every minute mattered. The veterinary team provided emergency care, stabilized him, and gave this little fighter the chance he desperately needed. Thanks to their quick action, Frankenstein survived. But emergency care comes at a significant cost, and his journey isn’t quite over yet. Help Zoe Find Relief From Frightening Seizure-Like Episodes

Zoe's world changed overnight. At just 3 years old, this sweet French Bulldog began experiencing frightening seizure-like episodes that left her owner fearing the worst. Having seen the devastating effects of Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) in French Bulldogs before, they knew Zoe would likely need extensive diagnostics and specialized medical care that they simply could not afford. Wanting Zoe to have the best chance possible, they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her to Pacific Rim Rescue. From the moment Zoe arrived, the rescue acted quickly. An urgent veterinary visit led to an emergency referral to a neurologist, and this week Zoe underwent an extensive neurological workup, including advanced imaging, at Summit Veterinary Referral Center. The news brought both relief and new challenges. The MRI confirmed that Zoe is not suffering from Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), as originally feared. Instead, veterinarians discovered severe infections and debris deep within both of her middle ears—painful conditions that may be responsible for the neurological symptoms she has been experiencing. Additional radiology results and a spinal tap are still pending to determine whether the infection has spread to the tissues surrounding her brain or whether the pressure from the infection alone is causing her seizure-like episodes. Zoe's journey isn't over. Her next step was an appointment with a veterinary dermatologist, who will attempt to scope and flush her middle ears. If that isn't enough to resolve the problem, Zoe will need surgery. Zoe is scheduled for the Otoscopy in August. Through every test and every appointment, Zoe has continued to fight, and bring joy with her sunny disposition and desire to be with her humans and canine foster siblings. Pacific Rim Rescue is committed to giving her every chance to recover, but the cost of advanced diagnostics, specialist care, and potential surgery is significant. Your donation will help cover Zoe's neurological workup, specialist appointments, ongoing diagnostics, and any treatments she needs to finally find relief from the pain she has been living with. Her name is Schmendrick. She is 9 years old and I think she is the most magical creature i've ever met. I brought her home in a box from a woman on craigslist to help in my recovery from CPTSD and she was actually too young so I had to bottle feed her. We have never been apart since. She's super vocal, very bossy, energetic, and loves food. She likes sleeping next to me and running around. I am unsure of what exactly is wrong but I strongly suspect she may be dealing with some sort of obstruction from a hairball. She usually rushes me like a maniac for food but I noticed 2 days ago that she wasn't interested in eating at all. She has a hard stomach, vomited what she ate, is lethargic and hasn't pooped in 2 days. I could take her to an VEG ER or Bond Vet Capitol Hill for treatment. Frankly, she saved my life. I brought her home at one of my darkest points so that I could have something to motivate me to live every day and she's done that. She's my whole world, I owe her everything. My physical health declined because of disability and I lost my job and ability to work 3 years ago. I have no income while I battle the courts for disability payments. I am desperately trying to find resources to get her help, keep her comfortable, and out of a shelter.

Nala is a 2½-year-old Cane Corso with the sweetest, most loving personality. We adopted her from the Capital Humane Society at 1½ years old. She was the very last dog we saw that day. I sat on the floor, softly said, “Hi baby,” and she walked over and rested her head on my shoulder. I looked at my husband and said, “She is coming home.” Nala has ruptured CCLs in both knees, causing pain and limiting her mobility. She needs TPLO surgery on each knee, with her left knee treated first. Her care is being provided by Sirius Veterinary Orthopedic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Nala is such a special part of our family. She is smart, active, loving, and full of personality. She loves playing ball, searching for the perfect branch or log to call her own, playing in the snow, her walks, socializing, and cuddling up with us. Our hearts break for her because she seems so sad being unable to enjoy the things she loves. Helping her get back to that life means everything to us. Nala needs surgery for two ruptured CCLs, costing $5,200–$6,200 per knee. We do not have pet insurance, and the cost of both surgeries is a significant unexpected expense. We’re asking for help so we can get her the care she needs as soon as possible.

Shane is a 3 year old German Shepherd Dog in Henderson, NV, who needs $3,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotmy (TPLO).

We adopted Shane from the shelter for my brother's birthday and we named him Shane inspired by the film "Radio Flyer" about two brothers and their German Shepard. Shane is now suffering from a sever knee injury. We have tried conservative methods such as rest and medication, surgery for his torn ligament is being recommended since he's not getting better. The possibility of losing mobility in his back leg for lack of proper care in due time would be too devastating for words. He thinks hes a lap dog and he'll sit on you as if he is, if you are on the floor he'll make sure to land right on you. He destroys plushies and is very food-morivated, he loves bone broth on top of his kibble. We as a family don't make nearly enough to cover the medical expenses to save Shane's leg. To have support at a time like this would mean everything to us, we've done all we can with all we can and now its up to the community to help us save Shane.

Jacob is my sweet male cat who's been part of my life these past 2 years. I used to feed a stray colony and one of the female cats had a litter, well, not longer after she was hit by a car and left behind kittens. I decided to keep 1 male kitten (Jacob) and took the rest to the ASPCA. Jacob is a has always been a calm, affectionate, and part of my life. Jacob likes to go outside during the day and comes back at night, but didn't show up one day until midnight. He began showing signs of severe pain, difficulty eating, and drooling. We took him to the vet, where he was discovered to have a fracture at the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). After further examination, the vet said the fracture extends to the part of the jaw that connects to his skull. Jacob is more than just a cat, he's literally like my child. He has been with me through so much, and has just been my emotional support pet. He's nervous with strangers, but once you get to know him, he is so lovable. I'm asking for financial help because the cost of his surgery is more than I can afford right now. I was able to pay a $400 deposit. The full estimate is up to $1,525, which has to be covered before the vet can move forward with treatment. I work part-time & go to college.

Kila came into my life five and a half years ago. Her owner had passed away and Kila was in danger of being euthanized. I truly believe we rescued each other.. She and I currently live together in a nice and quiet apartment complex. I am on disability and we have been home together nearly 24/7 over the last four and a half years. She is an indoor only cat and there are no other animals here. Kila was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She will need to be on medication for the rest of her life. She'll also require frequent blood work and vet visits to check her thyroid and kidney levels. She is a patient of Dr. Gray's at Franklin Veterinary in Franklin Massachusetts. Otherwise, she is in good health for a senior cat. Kila came to me not trusting any human at all. It is highly suspected that she was a victim of animal abuse. It took her almost a year to trust me, but today I am her person. Any time someone comes over, she will come right out, knowing they will give her treats. She is my emotional support animal/cat and has helped me through some of my darkest days. She has so much love to give in her heart. I have been on disability for years and do not see that changing in the near future. I love Kila so much, she has truly saved my life. I need Kila to have her medication and be able to go to all of her vet visits to keep her here and well with me.
