Echo

Echo is a 9-year-old Husky/Golden Mix in Saint Louis, MO, who needs $2,000 for CCL Knee Surgery.

Saint Louis, MO

Echo currently resides in Saint Louis, with his human mom, dad, and brother. He has a good sized fenced in yard to play with his fur-sister, Aria. Just two months ago, we tragically lost our oldest fur baby and pack leader, Alpha, and that has been a tough loss for everyone, including Echo. Echo is the king of chill. He has a dedicated corner of the kitchen with his name on it, and rotates between that corner and the couch. He is everyone's favorite, as the sweetest and most mild tempered boy with a goofy smile and heart of gold. While Echo is the ultimate couch potato, he loves to spend time outside in the snow, running around with his fur sister. Echo is our emotional support dog, especially for our 8 year old human, Benny. Echo has been raised right beside Benny, and they are each other's best friend. Echo has the goofiest howl when you rile him up, and it brings smiles to everyone's faces. He is so soft and fluffy, and a wonderful cuddler. The surgery is $4,400 with additional MRI/Xray around $300 during the 6 week follow up. He has confirmed torn CCL's in both hind knees, and prefers not to put weight on his left leg. Echo needs surgery on both legs, but the left is most urgent and we don't have the funds to put $9,000 on a credit card. We are still paying off emergency bills from the passing of our Shepherd 2 months ago. Echo absolutely needs this surgery to improve and extend his quality of life. Our 8 year old is so sad to see his dog in pain, and Echo has so much life left!

Beefy

Beefy is a 5-year-old German Shepherd in Inver Grove Heights, MN, who needs $2,000 for TPLO surgery.

Inver Grove Heights, MN

Beefy is a 5 year old German Shepherd. I call him the clearance puppy, because he was the last one left and no one wanted him because his goofy ears when he was a puppy. I saw him and fell in love with him. He had a fat pot belly as he was full of worms. So I took that fat bellied, crooked eared guy home with me. We love him so much and couldn’t imagine life without him. Beefy, loves to sleep and play, sleep and play, sleep and play….. you get the idea! He loves his brother Brody who’s my Golden Retriever, brother Chayse who’s serving in the USAF and sister Tay. We love watching movies together as a family, (he literally watches tv). His favorite thing to watch is Animal Planet and the movie “Dog”. Beef is a talker! He starts each morning with a happy aroooo! It always makes me smile. He is such a sweetheart. He loves everyone, but knows when to protect his family. He loves fetching the ball or frisbee, swimming, going on walks, of course eating treatsies and playing with his brother, Brody. I wouldn’t trade him for the world. I noticed about a yr ago after playing with his brother Brody. He came inside and was limping. I made him rest and he was better the next day. Over time the limping got worse. He cant even get up some days. I took him to several vets & was told it was likely arthritis. After several visits, different supplements and medications he wasn’t getting any better. Beefus needed TPLO surgery on his knee. I am a single mom, and currently not working to care for my mom that has Alzheimer’s. I am working on getting assistance for my mom but it’s an exhausting process to say the least. I have drained my finances taking care of her and now my dog needs knee surgery.

MJ

MJ is a 6-year-old Domestic Shorthair in La Cañada Flintridge, CA, who needs $2,000 for hospitalization for broken leg.

La Cañada Flintridge, CA

Mj came into my life from his mom. I found his mom and she had him, along with other cats. He’s been in my life for 6 years. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. He’s super affectionate, friendly and supports me emotionally. He does so much for me just by being there. I always just want him to be okay. Mj is a super caring cat- he loves everyone. Anytime anyone would come over, he would immediately go over and sit on their lap. He is super cuddly to family members and spends a lot of time being surrounded by them. He loves to sleep with someone, there is never a night where he doesn’t sleep with someone. I’m a college student with a limited income. I work a minimum wage job, but it’s hardly enough to keep me afloat. My cat getting attacked was sudden and it’s been such a crazy emergency. I want him to be okay, and I don’t want him to be put down. I’m curing or trying to cure something that is hard. My cat was attacked 2 days ago, and has been in immense pain. According to the vet, he has an infected leg, and his wounds all over his body are terrible. He can’t walk on one legs and limps. His wounds were cleaned, and he got an IV as well something to help him eat. He needs blood work, an x ray and other types of treatment. My cat is so special... he really makes me happy. I’m so happy he’s in my life and has been for 6 years. He makes me happy and everyone around him. There isn’t a day that goes by without Mj making someone happy. It’s like he was put here to create joy to those around him. I cherish him so much, I really do.

Chance

Chance is a 6-year-old American Bully in Randleman, NC, who needs $1,000 for surgeries.

Randleman, NC

Chance came to me after my little Yorkie died in a tragic accident. Winston was my first dog and I loved him so much, so when my husband realized that I was still depressed a year later, he decided to look for a new companion to fill that void in my heart. Chance was found by his rescuers chained to a tree, abandoned and starving. We saved him, and he saved me. What stands out the most about Chance is is loving nature. He craves love and giving love. Gentle giant, by definition. He is noticeably more uncomfortable these days because of his condition which breaks my heart, because despite this he still tries to give as much love as he possibly can muster. His energy levels have significantly depleted because of his many ailments. I lost my job because of the Covid-19 pandemic. After that, I had our first baby. We are currently surviving off my husband's income alone. If we didn't have a child, I would absolutely spend all our money on treating Chance. Chance has horrible skin allergies, which requires large doses of expensive medication to manage. He also has an enlarged prostate and a massive abscess around his penis which requires surgery just to explore. In addition he is going blind. And lastly, he has what appears to be a tumor on the back of his neck which would cost several hundred dollars to remove. Chance is as special as they come! He loves to play, roll around on the floor with me, he comforts me when I'm upset (he always knows), and loves to go on adventures or do ANYTHING as long as he's with his mama and/daddy. He's got his quirks of course, he's afraid of the vacuum and the broom! Which is a bit funny just because he's a big boy! He's very well behaved due to his desire to please us!

Seizie

Seizie is a 4-year-old Domestic short hair in Los Angeles, CA, who needs $2,000 for Feline Infectious Peritonitis.

Los Angeles, CA

This is my cat Seizie. I adopted her from someone on Facebook after her previous owner tossed her out on the street. She was homeless for a few days, maybe weeks, and also malnourished. After adopting her, we just wanted to make sure that she will have the best life she can have with us. We brought her back to good health and such a happy cat. Seizie loves to play, eat, roll on the floor and talkative. She follows me everywhere I go. I trained her to sit during meal time and talks back to me when I ask her somethings. She loves laying with me too. She is like my baby and knows how to make mom happy. She always play with her siblings everyday even though sometimes she’s a bully bc she’s a big cat but we know that’s how she shows love. I need help saving her because the treatment for FIP is pricey and I don’t have a job because of covid. I already used all my remaining money for her and if she misses a dose, she might relapse and die. We noticed a month ago that she is not interested with food, can’t see, became bones, lethargic and don’t want to play. We brought her to the vet and they told me she have enlarged kidney, cloudy eye and FIP (dry/ocular). I decided to search for a treatment and I found some that help her gain back all of the muscle/fat loss, being energetic again. The first time I saw her on Facebook, I knew she is the cat for me. I begged my husband to get her because I felt a connection. When she saw me, she cried and immediately cuddle with me. She knew I will love her forever and will give her the best life I can give to her. Even until now, she still do gestures to thank me for trying to save her from getting sick and doing everything. To afford it her meds

Akira

Akira is a 1 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Bayamon, PR, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to Correct Her Congenital Hip Condition.

Bayamon

Akira came into my life in a very special way—I didn’t find her, she found me. From the moment I welcomed her at 3 months old, she brought so much joy and light to my home, alongside my three other rescued dogs. Now, at only a year old, she faces a congenital condition that limits her quality of life. I believe Akira can receive the surgery she needs with your help!! Akira requires specialized orthopedic surgery to correct her congenital hip condition, at Coamo Veterinary Hospital in Puerto Rico. This procedure is essential to relieve her pain, restore mobility, and prevent further damage as she grows. Following surgery, she will also need medications, rest, and supportive care to ensure a safe recovery and a better quality of life. Akira is a very joyful little dog, and despite her current limitation she remains active and full of life. At just one year old, Akira is facing a serious congenital condition. She remains playful and strong, but without surgery her pain will worsen. Time is critical—we want to give her the life every dog deserves. With your help, Akira’s future can be filled with health, love, and hope. I am financially limited but doing everything possible to raise funds for Akira’s urgent surgery. Her doctor wanted to operate immediately, but without the money I couldn’t leave her at the clinic. I need support to give her the care she urgently needs.
