CHICKFILET came into my life 2 years ago, walking around my house spraying my doors and fighting with the other community cats. I decided to do TNR. When he was trapped, he was very aggressive and mad. After that I released him close to my house, and he ran away. A month later, he started to come to eat but hid from us. Little by little he started to trust us. Every single day when I opened the sliding door, he was waiting for his food and water. After eating he leaves and comes back for lunch and dinner. During the storms and fireworks, we let him come into the house because he was afraid of the noise. He never fought with my 2 indoor cats; he was always reverent with my cats. Chic filet came into my life during my pregnancy. My son learned to touch him gently, and was not scared. Now, I’m not working, and I have the big responsibility to pay the invoice for all that the vet did trying to save Chic filet’s life. In the past when ChickFilet has had a wound or injury we have provided for his vet care. Last week he came to eat and he could not walk. He didn’t eat, and he was unable to urinate. We brought him to the vet, and he had urinary blockage. After the procedure, he stayed in the clinic 5 days with IV fluids and antibiotics. He was not able to recover. My husband chose the name because Chic filet because his appearance is like a little cow. One day he started to come inside to the front door. He stays for a little time with us, playing with a catnip mouse, and then he just desires to go out again. This is our routine every single day, but we enjoy care for him and keep him safe.

I rescued Rox from a trailer park when she was only a couple months old and shes been the best thing in my life since. Shes the most patient and loving soul ive ever met and absolutely loves to go on road trips together and share a little bit of every meal with eachother. She is a great protector and loves to sit and sleep on the couch where she can see and hear everything at once. I love her She has been diagnosed with a Spindle Cell tumor on her neck, the Oncologist at VCA Austin says it can be removed but will need a full course radiation treatment afterwards. This would give her best chances and has an average control time of 5 years which would allow her to reach adulthood happily and healthily. Rox loves spending time with her brother, shes older than him so shes teaching him the rules and and is such a loving and patient older sister. If shes not playing with him her favorite things are to beg for some small handouts and to play rough house with me. Her absolute favorite time though is when her grammy comes to visit and she gets spoiled like the queen she is 24/7 The doctor says the treatment is going to cost around 15k, i already have paid over 9k in vet bills in scans and tests just getting to this point and am desperate to do anything i can to make this happen for her.

Nessa was actually a gift from my deceased significant other. He found her in a dire situation where she would either go to the shelter or be mistreated and so he brought her home to me because he knew I would love her. She has been my Bestie for the last 7 1/2 years. she definitely keeps the house lively. About three weeks ago, she started limping after playing in the yard with her little companion, our other pet, Nala. They were running and playing and then all of a sudden Nessa started to limp. A few days later, I took her to Eastside animal Hospital and it was determined she had suffered a severed ACL. Since the injury, her little light inside has dimmed quite a bit because she’s not able to run and play and jump like she’s used to. It is really sad to watch. She is such a spirited baby and it breaks my heart to see her this way. Because I do not make a lot of money, this emergency situation is one that I cannot handle. It kills me to watch her suffer because I don’t have the money for her surgery. Her life has been altered due to a lack of resources. This is why she so badly needs the help.

Flying Pigs Sanctuary rescued Earle Grey on April 24. Because he was so severely emaciated, he was immediately started on a refeeding program to help his body safely adjust to proper nutrition. He did wonderfully at first, gaining weight and finally getting a chance to experience life free from the padlock and chain he had endured. But over time, Earle began to get pickier with his food. It was difficult to know exactly what was wrong, because despite everything, he still had moments where he seemed bright and happy—especially if a cheeseburger was involved. His bloodwork looked great, and he still seemed perky, but we knew something wasn’t right. After multiple vet visits to try to get answers, everything changed this Monday. During an exam, their vet felt something unusual in Earle’s abdomen. X-rays quickly turned into an ultrasound, which revealed a large mass. Surgery was scheduled right away, but once their vet began the procedure, she became concerned that the mass was too extensive to safely remove herself. She closed him back up and immediately referred Earle to a specialist. The other day, that specialist removed a massive tumor—one of the largest she has ever seen. She believes she was able to get good margins, but there is still concern that the mass is cancerous. Right now, they are holding onto hope that it was caught in time and that Earle can finally have the healthy, happy life he has always deserved. His veterinary care has already totaled $7,000, and they need help covering the cost of giving Earle a chance. If you’re able to donate, every dollar will go toward his lifesaving care and recovery. Blueberry has lived in a foster home since late July, coming into her foster's life as a birthday present! Blueberry showed up at the local shelter after being hit by a car. Part of her Right back leg and foot had been removed in the accident, her ear and shoulder were injured and hairless, her nose was scraped up, handling her was painful. She happily lives with 2 leg injury kittens but hurts. Blueberry is currently experiencing some pain and it is unknown whether it is from her leg or back. As far as we know she never had full imaging after her accident. A local vet is concerned she may have had some serious fractures. She requires a thorough vet examination and care to control her pain and keep her mobile as she deserves to continue being a typical kitten! Blueberry is bonded with Peach, another kitten who was hit by a car. They came into care about the same age and have been on their journey together. They love to snuggle, explore, and chase one another. Blueberry loves thick comforters, her snuggle-safe heater, pom-pom toys, and tunnels. She also loves to sit on my back! We are a new non-profit feline rescue. We've had some animals come into our care needing help NOW before we've secured funding to begin operations the way we had hoped. Waiting on care is not an option. Blueberry is too sweet to live with pain!

My baby Alo was part of a litter rescued from a barn. I have had him since he was 6 weeks old and he was such a popular addition to my family that my cousin adopted his brother from the same litter! He's the only pet I've ever had and truly treat him and consider him my child. I love his personality and his love & concern for me is irreplaceable. I truly don't know what I will do without help. Alo's condition has rapidly changed. I took him to the vet in April 2026 because he had developed a sneeze and runny eyes. The doctors that examined him said he most likely had an upper respiratory infection and prescribed meds. This did not resolve and he has developed a mass in his nose that needs to be removed ASAP. This swill be completely out of pocket and very costly to me at this time. Alo has always been a comforter, he is my cuddle bug and loves to be in nature or observe it. Unlike most cats, he admires the rain storm and isn't afraid of thunder/lightning. He adores my niece and nephews even though he was not really around children daily when he was a kitten. He loves his laser pointer and will trade all his catnip for butt rubs, scratches, and pats. I unfortunately lost his insurance last year due to a medical emergency I faced that resulted in financial hardship and I need help getting his testing and treatment covered. We have been through a lot together & I need help to keep him with me! I miss the sound of his meow

I adopted my sweet Chihuahua from the pound just about two years ago after my divorce and she has been a wonderful companion. Coco is incredibly sweet, cute, and full of spunky energy. She is a very playful little dog who loves going for outdoor walks and riding along in the car. Most of all, she wants to be close to me at all times and is always right by my side. She is a wonderful companion, and it breaks my heart to see her going through this difficult medical battle when she just wants to be her happy, playful self. Over the past two months, she has already endured two separate surgeries and countless rounds of medication to treat an ongoing, severe infection and abscess on her side. Every time we think she is finally on the road to recovery, new complications arise. Now, she has developed another painful abscess and desperately needs advanced diagnostic imaging and a critical surgical revision to finally find the root cause of the issue and fix it for good. The cost for the specialized veterinary imaging and surgery is $7,000. This financial burden is completely overwhelming. I have already exhausted all of my resources on her previous surgeries and treatments, and I simply cannot afford this final critical step to get her the care she needs. She is currently under the care of Dr. Butchco in Riverside. They have been the very best and Coco and I have been treated very well from the staff including the Doctor. I adopted Coco shortly after my divorce, and she has been a truly wonderful companion. She helped me through all of my emotional ups and downs during that difficult transition, and she means the world to me. I just want to take good care of her now when she needs me most. As I stated earlier I have already exhausted all of my resources on her previous surgeries and treatments, and I simply cannot afford this final critical step to get her the care she needs.

Bronco's life almost ended before it began. I rescued him and his littermates on the day they were to be euthanized and raised them by bottle. Bronco and his sister Sanibel stayed with me and my rescue animal family. Bronco has never left my side through every illness, surgery, and hard time. My sweet orange boy, known for his distinctive "pig nose," has been my shadow, always by my side; Bronco is being treated at Veterinary Outpatient Specialists. He is a survivor who has already beaten mammary cancer several years ago. In April, he lost his sister, Sanibel, to lymphoma. They had been inseparable their whole lives. After surviving so much together, Bronco is now facing another battle with cancer. I'm determined to give him every chance to keep fighting, just as he has before. Since losing his sister Sanibel, Bronco has bonded even more with the dogs. As our last rescue kitty, he can often be found hanging out with them and even copying their behaviors. He's always ready for treats and scratches, is a devoted Broncos fan (whether he has a choice or not), and is the first to greet anyone who comes through the door. He's a social boy who wants to be part of everything. After three years of cancer care for Sanibel, an unexpected car replacement depleted emergency funds. I work part-time while in grad school and an internship, and I'm seeking extra income wherever I can. I would never ask otherwise. Helping Bronco means more than I can say.

Koda

Koda is a 12 year old German Shepherd Dog in Spartanburg, SC, who needs $6,000 for Parathyroid Nodule Removal.

We have had Koda since she was 8 weeks old, when we adopted her. She is about to turn 12 soon. Koda has been with us through dating, engagement and 10 years of marriage and is part our family in every way possible. She has a younger brother who is 7 and they are inseparable. My husband is Deaf and in the community CODA means "Child of Deaf Adult", we spell her name "Koda" and she has a sign name. Koda has been suffering from chronic high calcium levels. These high levels increase her thirst and urination and have resulted UTIs and in some higher kidney levels. After months of different diagnostics our vet referred us to specialists at Upstate Vet Emergency and Specialty care. They found a nodule on Koda's parathyroid that is causing these issues. With treatment it will resolve entirely. Koda is a smart and loving girl. She doesn't want to cuddle but she wants to be wherever you are. She loves to go for a ride and enjoys pets from anyone and everyone. Koda loves to play tug of war, chase squirrels, bark her heart, eat treats and cuddle with her brother. She's a brave pup who will go wherever Dad goes and give everything a try at least once. She's simply the best we could ask for. My husband and I both work in K-12 education, and recently moved to the area, depleting much of our own savings to do so. Upstate Vet is estimating Koda's surgery will cost $4000 - $6000 dollars. We do not have these funds on hand, but want her to get the help she deserves.
