Lacey came into my life as a tiny, feral kitten I found in woods of Lakeville, all alone. He was only weeks old and couldn't even eat on his own. I bottle-fed him until he was strong enough to eat independently, and from that moment on, he was truly the best companion. As he grew, his energy was boundless. Lacey has been such a source of joy and comfort in my life, and that's why it's so upsetting to see him struggling now. Lately, he's been experiencing diarrhea, losing weight, and seems off balance. He's also not eating much, and I've noticed him shaking his head frequently, even after I tried using an ear mite treatment called "Skyrim" (which, unfortunately, didn't seem to help). I'm very worri Lacey also has a sister, Luna, who is four years old, and they look so much alike! Luna has a black face, while Lacey’s face is black and white. Lacey definitely likes to be the boss and show his dominance, and it's hilarious watching them chase each other around my apartment. Lacey and Luna are truly my ears and eyes. Since I'm hard of hearing, they let me know where a noise is coming from. Lacey has been such a source of joy and comfort in my life, and that's why it's so upsetting to see him struggling now. Being a single person, living on my own, I've been struggling with the increase in rent, food, and everything else. Anything would help at this point.

Ledger is a 14 year old Miniature Schnauzer in Hutchinson , KS, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to Remove Cancer and Rib Di-section.

Ledger, what can I say? He is my buddy, my baby, and my soul dog. A valentine's present given by my husband in 2011, we went to the pet store "just to look". After spending 2 mins with this ball of fur, and I couldn't imagine my life without him. For 14 years he has brought so much happiness to our family. In July of 2024 he was diagnosed with cancer. The vet thought she got it all. She didn't. It has come back more agressively and if not removed, vet says it will rupture and take his life. This carcenoma is pushing into his rib which will eventually cause him pain. 14 years is not enough. He still has so much life in him. We are not ready to say goodbye. Ledger is the light of our little family. He has virtually grown up with our daughter and he means everything to her. He is also a "big brother" to our 5 year old Shih Tzu. Ledger hasn't taught Obi everything yet. He needs more time. In 2022 my daughter and husband both became disabled. I am currently the only person in my home able to work. After a legal battle, my husband was able to get on Social Security, my daughter's case is still ongoing. New surgery needed and we are out of money.

My son's were 11 and 12 years old and wanted a puppy. We went to a local shelter and couldn't find them a fur baby that was a good fit. A few days later someone had unwanted puppy's and the puppy's weren't in a good safe situation so we decided to rescue him he was 3 weeks old when we got him and we have had him ever since Diesel got a small sore on his genital area and it would burst and leak out blood and infection then heal up and continue to come and do the same thing. This time it came back bigger and consistently drains blood and infection. We took him to Anicira and the surgery to remove the abscess is going to cost us more than what we can afford at this time Diesel has been our family fur baby for over 13 yrs now he has grown up with my children and now my 5 grandchildren are growing up in his life as he's growing older. He is a gentle giant he love's all the baby's and big kids too. He is a very well mannered loving animal. He has been a support dog to so many of us in so many ways and now it's heartbreaking that in his time of need we are struggli Had an unexpected death in the family two weeks ago that we weren't financially prepared for and my hiurs got cut at work so now my fur baby needs some medical attention and I am struggling. It breaks my heart because he is one of my kids. I'd love to have him be himself again.

Hades is a wonderful dog. He's always happy always loving and does his best to make everyone have a good day. We don't know exactly what happened to him. Right now he's lethargic and he's burping what smells like sulfur. We've called all the types of vets in emergency services but we don't have the money for their assistance. He's everything to us he's more than a dog he's our family. Please help. We don't know exactly what happened to him we think you may have eaten a small pine cone but we don't know that for sure he's just lethargic and not well. The vet hospital is Oregon Humane Society – Community Veterinary Hospital. I feel like I'm failing my dog I didn't know about insurance and stuff like that. Someone please help. Yes we have a Siamese cat that he loves very much we also have an older dog that we call Grandma it's a little mutt mix kind of like Chihuahua they're all the best of friends. Hades is very loving and has a beautiful temperament. He even goes to homeless shelters and helps people it makes them feel better. He's part of our family. I feel like I'm failing him right now. We first met soda pop when her mother lily had brought her to our door step as a sick kitten. We eventually managed to get her inside, that was nearly 2 years ago. We would later take in her brother and mother and already owned a small dog. When soda first came inside the house she hid behind a pop can on the table so we thought to name her soda pop. The veterinary doctor at horizon believes she has either a brain tumor or damage to the nerves which both require a MRI costing 7k, I live on social security but now with a broken heart because soda pop is my baby. She sleeps with me every night and every morning she greets me with tail hugs. She's been fighting for 11 days without getting better. Her brothers her best friend and he's missed her to no end since this has been going on. She always come wandering in when a box of temptations are opened or when she smells sheba cat food. Soda is out dare devil always wanting to be as high as possible. She never made much sound other some squeaks so I sometimes call her squeaky. Soda is the most innocent and brave cat I believe ever could exist. I'm on social security, it takes all I have to make ends meet. Most of the money I have left goes to helping others to the point I don't even own my own car because I let others borrow it until it stopped working, and even went without for three years trying to help others.

We met Phil on a farm—he ran right up to us, fearless and full of energy. He’s wild, loves wrestling with our dog, and always makes a show when his food bowl is empty. He’s not into cuddles, but he’s always nearby, quietly keeping me company. He’s stubborn, and sweet. Life is better when Phil is in it. Phil was having trouble using his liter box and was leaving puddles on the floor. And crying a lot. We took him to the ER and discovered Phil has crystals in his urine which if left untreated will lead to kidney failure. He doesn’t require surgery but a catheter and 48 hour stay in the emergency room. At veterinarian emergency group at Camino de la reina, San diego He makes us laugh with his food bowl drama, wrestles like a champ with our dog, and still finds quiet ways to show he cares. He’s wild, loyal, and exactly the kind of companion we didn’t know we needed. He’s obsessed with Amazon boxes. Completely unexpected massive ER bill, having to go on a payment plan to take care of it but we have to pay it off in six months which I’m not sure is doable. Any little bit helps. Phil is my buddy and my wife’s baby.

Luna has been with me for 11 years now and she is my everything. She is living with me, my partner, her 'brother' Bibble, and two kittens. She eats twice a day and is walked around our complex two to three times a day. She has always loved rolling in grass and chasing her brother around at the dog park. Lunas situation has been off and on for the last year ish. For the last two years she's been having increased issues with a luxating patella on her back left leg. She recently has had a lot of dental issues but we are feeding her wet food to try and combat that. She is the light of my life and is the reason I made it through the things I've been through. I lost my dad at 15, and she was there for me every single time I cried, same with all four of my grandparents. She is my rock and is what makes me happy to come home after work I am a college student working a full time job and taking full time classes, so I don't have any extra money that's not already accounted for. My animals eat more than I do because they are more important to me than anything.
