Smoker

Smoker is a 1.5 year old Russian Blue in Seatac , WA, who needs $950 for Emergency Exam & GI Diagnostics.

Seatac, WA

Smoker came into our lives after I saw him in a pet shop. He headbutted the glass to get to me, and it was love. When I asked about his cloudy eye, they offered to “exchange” him. I refused. We named him for his smoky fur, and when he first meowed—a deep, raspy croak—it fit him. He's nearly 2 now. He sucks on his tail for comfort and sleeps under the blanket with us every night. Smoker began vomiting yesterday and declined fast. He was dry heaving bile that smells rotten throughout the night, eating very little food, and is lethargic. His ears and paws are cold, and he’s only left hiding to curl up beside us for warmth and comfort. We suspect a GI blockage or infection and are taking him to urgent care, but we can’t afford diagnostics or treatment alone. Smoker is our cuddle-obsessed shadow. He won’t leave my or my husband’s side, always crawling under the blankets to snuggle. He suckles his tail for comfort and has the heart of a gentle baby... trapped in the body of a food-obsessed chonk. Through trauma, grief, and our international move, he's been our comfort, our clown, and the glue holding our little family together. I can't lose him. We recently relocated internationally and are staying in temporary housing. Our emergency funds are tied up due to auto-renewed accounts, and we’re currently unemployed while dealing with the VA and USCIS. Smoker needs urgent care we just can’t afford right now.

Ari

Ari is a 7 year old Papillon in Norwalk, CA, who needs $2,000 for Splenectomy and Biopsy.

Norwalk, CA

I always dreamed of having a dog growing up, but my parents never allowed it. Years later, after I had my son, I realized how much I wanted him to experience the love and companionship I missed. Since he is an only child, we adopted Ari so he could have a little “sister” to grow up with. She’s been a part of our family ever since, filling our home with love, laughter, and comfort. Ari was recently found to have fluid buildup and a mass in her abdomen. Our vet suspects hemangiosarcoma, but we won’t know for sure until surgery is done to remove part of the mass for biopsy. We’ve already spent over $4,300 as it happened during memorial day weekend, everything being regarded as emergency care, and can’t afford the next steps. We’re desperate for help. Ari is the sweetest soul — so gentle, patient, and kind. She’s never had much in life, yet she gives so much love. She never demands anything, and always waits quietly, grateful for every little moment with us. At just seven years old, she deserves so much more time, more joy, and more comfort than she’s had. She truly is the heart of our family. We’ve already spent over $4,300 trying to save Ari, and now we’re simply out of options. This was completely unexpected, and we don’t have the emergency savings to cover surgery. Asking for help is hard, but Ari means everything to us. We just want to give her a chance to li

Kahlua

Kahlua is a 10 year old Havanese in Oakdale, CA, who needs $2,000 for Surgical Mass Removal of Soft Tissue Sarcoma.

Oakdale, CA

Kahlua was adopted from Pupz N Pals at 8 weeks old and is now nearly 11 years old. Her name was chosen even before we laid eyes on her, a name we had already fallen in love with. When we finally met her and saw her sweet brown and tan coat, we knew instantly that she was the perfect match for us. We are reaching out to share a situation that weighs heavily on our hearts. Our fur baby, Kahlua, has recently been diagnosed with cancer (soft tissue sarcoma) from VCA Bay Area Veterinary. We are committed to doing everything possible to provide the treatment she needs to fight this illness. Kahlua’s surgery to have her mass removed is scheduled for this month and we are hoping for a full removal Kahlua is truly Mama's girl, there is no denying that! Working from home has allowed me the blessing of spending every moment with her. She has a special way of communicating with her love, whether it is through her excited barks when we come home or the way she cuddles closer during quiet moments. I often find myself lost in her soulful eyes, feeling a deep connection that goes beyond words. Kahlua’s treatment are $7,000, which covers surgeries and medications (this does not include any other medications, or treatment she may need after surgery). While we are doing our best to manage these costs, we are reaching out to ask for your support, as this is a lot 4 us

Rainbow

Rainbow is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Heber, UT, who needs $2,000 for Cancer Diagnosis and Tumor Removal.

Heber, UT

This is a story about my son’s cat named Rainbow. He came to us when Connor was 4 years old and they became Best Buds from the start. During our move back to Utah all Connor wanted was a Kitty to help him get adjusted to the changes. Rainbow provided the comfort as well as the distraction. Rainbow has been his emotional support for 9 years and these two buddies have so much more to do together. Two weeks ago a lump was noticed on Rainbows neck. The very next day we took him in for an urgent care visit to the local veterinarian. Wasatch animal clinic drew blood, took x-rays and gave him fluids. By the end of the day, the doctor referred us to an oncologist. We went this morning to the oncologist, and walked away with a plan for treatment. The plan costs more than I can afford. Rainbow is exactly his name, he is the ray of sunshine with all the colors of the rainbow for my son. He is a comfort for Connor when he is struggling with his emotions. At night he sleeps behind his head and watches over him, especially when Connor is feeling sick. You can always tell when Rainbow is around, he has a distinct sound and loves to talk if we give him the attention. He is our family Unfortunately, my current financial situation includes Financial hardship due to not enough income coming in right now. Rainbow deserves a fighting chance at living a Long, prosperous life with Connor. This would mean saving Connors Best Bud.
