Charlton, MA

I found rowdy living on the streets of Yakima, Washington, he was owned by a homeless man. Nothing against homeless. But this man was abusive to him. When I found him, he had a broken leg wrapped in a pillowcase so I convinced the manto let me take him to the vet. The vet said that he had multiple healed, broken bones and that his leg needed to be removed. The man had snapped his leg and a half. Now that he lives with me,. He many surgeries that have helped his health. He lives a happy life with two other dogs. only this time I found out he has degenerate disc disease. He’s in pain, but the pain is manageable for now with pain meds. he loves playing and being outdoors. He’s always in my arms his. He always wants his mama. Rowdy is so silly. He loves playing with his toys and he gives me tons of kisses all the time he wakes me up in the morning loving on me. he goes to bed with me in my arms. He has taught me how to overcome adversity and just still love in the face of pain. Rowdy is a little shaman. He save my heart. Rowdy has degenerate disc disease I need to find out what stage it is. He needs an MRI. I’ve spent all my savings on him with all his special needs. I need to come up with the money for the MRI. I’m told it could be up to $5000 for the MRI. The surgery cost about as much as the MRI. I need to find out the stage of his degenerate disc disease so I can get him his surgery so he can live pain free I have a dog walking service and I just started the business so it’s in its infancy I’m not making much money. I spent all my savings on rowdy please if it’s in your heart, please donate this little boy needs to live to be an old man. He deserves it.

Loki

Loki is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Salem , NH, who needs $8,000 for MRI/Ophthalmologists.

Salem, NH

My dog loki has been our families work for over 7 years now, when we met it was like fate, like he was meant for us! The story was to long to share here but he became our worlds, he brings so much joy and happiness to our family and the love he gives is unimaginable. We always say he’s like a human because he is so smart and understands everything. He is the most spoiled and loved boy! We are still trying to figure out Loki medical situation as it seems to be complicated. He has an upcoming appointment with neurology at Angel Memorial hospital and we’re hoping to find out what’s wrong and if it’s something that can be treatable/curable, To do that they need to run lots of tests and MRI which is extremely costly as we’ve already spent thousands since this has happened this month Loki is so special, he is not just your average dog he understands everything, he is extremely gentle and kind. He loves his treats and loves his toys even more! He gets so excited when someone comes in he licks you, barks with excitement, does a dance. He jumps right in our bed and sleep in between me and my husband like a human, under the covers head on pillow. He loves his cat sisters and walks All these pet visits and the upcoming ones are really putting a strain on my family. Although we work daily we have already spent thousands on Loki to find out what’s wrong, the next step is the one we’re needing some help with as I know MRIs an Ophthalmologists are not chea

Maezie

Maezie is a 8-year-old Jack Russell Terrier in Brevard, NC, who needs $2,000 for Stent & Possible Scope Procedure.

Brevard, NC

Maezie was rehomed to me 1/10/23. I immediately fell in love with her & we have been together since. She got sick in July & after failed attempts to get her well, she is now at am er hospital in Asheville, NC. She has been poked and prodded & we are waiting on urine cultures & bass cancer tests. We are hoping it is just a super bacteria & not cancer. Ins is capped out & funds are now zero. Maezie loves to go on super long walks & sniffathons. She loves older folks (like me, LOL) & anyone in a wheelchair or walker. However, she is not fond of men in general. She loves my granddaughter who takes care of her from time to time. She still barks at my son & daughter in law. She sleeps with me every night & will sometimes get under the covers. Maezie has a couple of "boyfriends." They are Tux & Teddie. If I am not quick enough with her meals or treats, she will let out one bark while she is perched in the recliner. Which, she has claimed as hers. She gets overly excited when she sees her "treat lady" when we head out for our walks. Her whole rear end will waggle & she will start whining till she gets her treat. At this point, we are not quite sure why she can not empty her bladder or why her bladder wall is so inflamed & thickened. We are waiting on culture & cancer tests to come in. She is being supported by drs & staff at the South Asheville Veterinary Emergency Services in Asheville, NC. She has a catheter in place to help her empty her bladder. Maezie's ins. has capped out. I am on a fixed income (SS retirement). My son & DIL have done all they can financially & my credit cards are maxed out. There is really zero available funds. I would be totally lost w/o Maezie. The thought of putting her down kills me.

Finn

Finn is a 3-year-old Cat in Columbia, MO, who needs $2,000 for Perineal Urethrostomy.

Columbia, MO

Finn came into my life and became a light to me. He cuddles with me when I’m sad or lonely, and brings a smile to my face. Finn has had multiple Urinary Obstructions in the past 6 months despite feeding him specialized food, trying to limit stress, and putting him on a diet. UOs are very expensive and painful and life threatening. This surgery will make it possible for him to keep live. Finn lives with one other cat and a dog. He’s pretty patient and loves people more then anything. He is almost always happy and bright, wanting to cuddle and love on everyone he meets. Everybody loves Finn because he’s such a sweetheart. He always makes people happy and is so patient with medication. Finn makes me laugh every day. He finds joy with random things like pencils and lids. He zooms around and right after will lay down on your lap or in your arms for a long nap. He’s tried to hunt bugs but usually fails because his coordination is a bit off. Ever since he was a little kitten he has made my life better. Finn had his first urinary obstruction about 6 months ago. The cost for treatment is usually upwards of $1500 and causes him extreme discomfort. Without treatment UOs do cause death in cats. I feed him very expensive prescription food but he had another UO despite this. The only real long term treatment is a surgery that will cost anywhere from 2-3k and will likely prevent this in the future. I stress about my cat every day. I want nothing more then to give him a happy and healthy life. If I could have some help, maybe Finn can have a happier healthier life alongside me.

Lulu

Lulu is a 4-year-old English Bulldog in Columbus, OH, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Columbus, OH

Lulu's previous family wanted to give her the best life possible so she was given to me in September 2019. My rescue Beanie loved Lulu immediately upon meeting her, playing for hours around the living room. Her puppy energy brought life for Beanie and helped heal our heart from losing our beloved Huxley a year earlier. Lulu loves to be the bed or the couch napping. Most of the time if we can't find her she looks outside at the birds in complete awe or looks at her Grandma while she chops watermelon begging for a treat. Her uncle picks her up and down the stairs so her knees aren't stressed and plays tug o' war so she doesn't run. The best thing about her is how she keeps me in the present. Whenever I have a panic attack or a depressive episode there she is asking to play fetch for a distraction. I can't imagine my life without her goofy and sweet nature. Everytime I walk through the door and see her, nothing else matters but her butt wiggles and kisses. In February 2023, we noticed her limping on her right back while playing fetch. We stopped activity immediately and put her on crate rest hoping to heal her after a week or two. After no improvement we took her to OSU Veterinary Hospital and she had a torn ACL on her right and partial on her left back as well. Lulu is cleared to start surgery. The injury was unexpected and no savings could be stashed for emergencies as I'm low income. It's heartbreaking seeing my baby girl's muscle wasting away around her leg and her not being able to play like she's used to all day. I want to be a good dog mom and see her happy and healthy again.

Photo of Daisy

Daisy

Please help Daisy to get surgery to fix her broken leg.

Murphy, TX • CAMO Rescue

We saved Daisy from euthanasia at the Dallas Animal Shelter in the final minutes before closing. Daisy is a 9‑year‑old shepherd mix who has endured more than any dog should. She was hit by a car, suffered a broken leg, and experienced significant trauma. She was originally adopted from another rescue, but due to her medical condition and financial limitations, they cannot take her back. No owner has come forward. She has no one — except us. She’s receiving pain management and medication for neurological issues. She is trying so hard to fight. Daisy’s leg cannot heal on its own. Because of her head trauma, she is not a safe candidate for amputation at this time. To save her leg — and give her the best chance at a real future — she needs an orthopedic surgeon. The estimated cost is $5,000, and the surgery must happen ASAP. If we cannot raise the funds, amputation will be the only option. After everything she’s survived, Daisy deserves better than that. She’s not the fluffy, photogenic puppy that gets thousands of shares. She’s a 30‑pound, older black dog who has been overlooked her entire life. But she is gentle, resilient, and so deserving of a second chance. Please help us save her leg — and her life. 5/28/26 Update: From Tragedy to Hope: Daisy’s Surgery Is Just Days Away Daisy was seen at Mercy Animal Clinic for a senior blood panel, a neurological evaluation after her accident, and to have her injured leg re-examined and recast. This sweet girl has already survived more than most dogs ever will. Not only did she make it through being hit by a car, but we also learned she is high‑positive for heartworms. Daisy’s past hasn’t been kind to her. She was abandoned in Houston when she needed her people the most, then taken in by a local rescue and eventually adopted out. At some point her adopters moved to the Dallas area, and somewhere along the way Daisy once again found herself alone. It’s easy to say she was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time when she was struck by a car — but that moment is also what ultimately brought her to CAMO Rescue, where she finally has a real chance at healing. The truth is, without intervention, Daisy was a dead‑dog‑walking. But her spirit never gave up. Her soul is golden, gentle, and resilient, and with time she will learn to trust humans again. Her medical needs will easily reach the $5k mark, and we are preparing to move forward with her surgery to repair her leg within the next couple of days so she can finally begin her true recovery. During her visit yesterday, Daisy was pampered as much as she could tolerate while her cast was changed. Even after everything she’s endured, she remains soft, patient, and hopeful. Daisy’s story is shifting — from survival to safety, from abandonment to love, and from pain to the promise of a better life. 6/1/26 Update: Surgery Success, New Challenges Ahead — Daisy Still Needs Support Sweet Daisy made it through surgery and it was a huge success. Her leg looks incredible, and even though she faced some tough moments afterward, this brave girl is now back home resting safely. We’ll be watching over her closely tonight as she begins her long journey toward healing. ❤️‍🩹 Daisy is still fighting some big battles — her white blood cell count is high, so she’s on antibiotics, and she’s also heartworm positive, which we’re actively treating. She has more on her plate than any dog should, yet she continues to show nothing but courage and heart. This little girl is truly one of the bravest souls we’ve ever met, and she deserves every chance at a healthy, pain‑free life. 6/14/26 Update Daisy is finally getting the love, comfort, and care she has always deserved in her foster home. Every day, she continues to heal, and we're hopeful that her neurological challenges are now behind her. She is a gentle, quiet soul who finds so much joy in simply being outside and discovering what it means to be loved. We believe Daisy spent much of her life as an outdoor dog, with very little attention or affection. Because of that, even the simplest acts of kindness are still new and precious to her. Daisy is truly a miracle. Despite everything she has been through, she remains sweet, trusting, and full of hope. She has never known the security of a permanent, loving home—a place where she was cherished as family. But when she found her way to this rescue, her life began to change. Now, Daisy's story is one of healing, second chances, and the promise of a brighter future. She deserves a family who will show her every day just how special she is and give her the love she's been waiting for her entire life. ❤️🐾 6/27/26 Update Do you remember Daisy—the sweet girl who was hit by a car, suffered neurological injuries, and had a broken front leg? Today, we're so happy to share that Daisy has made an incredible recovery. Thanks to the love and dedication of her foster family, she has healed in more ways than one. She is thriving, learning to trust again, and enjoying all the love and pampering she truly deserves. Now Daisy is ready for her next chapter—a forever home where she will be cherished for the rest of her life. Daisy is approximately 7 years old, weighs 30 pounds, and has so much love left to give. She is still heartworm positive, but that doesn't define her. She deserves a family who will see the beautiful, resilient soul she is and love her unconditionally. Please help us share Daisy's story. The perfect family may be just one share away. ❤️
