My sweet Nala is my baby. I adopted her from a rescue when she was 4 months old. She was born September 17th 2023. I adopted her December 5th 2023. She has been such a blessing. She lives with me but I do have a 17 year old daughter who spends a bit of time with her and I have a 16 year old daughter who would rather not be bothered with her. My parents also live here but Nala is with me mostly. When I adopted her she was covered in parasites so she had to be treated for that. From the beginning she has always been very high strung anxious but so am I. Recently at a well visit the vet noticed a mark on her foot but it didn’t look like much. I took her back for a spay appointment 3 days later and the mass on her foot was much more raised and hair loss which is a sign she may have cancer Nala is an anxious girl but she loves everyone. She will go up there anyone she can in hopes to get pet and then she’ll lay down right away for a belly rub. Nala truly has been a life changer for me because I am no longer so Alone. It’s clear she loves me just as much as I love her and I will do whatever it takes to try and make sure she is okay I have been a single mom for 17 years. My girls are older now and I have a lot more time alone lately which is why I adopted Nala because I needed a friend. I work a full time job as a patient care technician at a nearby hospital. I just don’t make enough to cover the cost.

Hi everyone, my name is Elizabeth Tavera. This is Skye - my three year old cockapoodle and best friend to my 9 year old daughter. My daughter suffers from anxiety and is unable to socialize with kids her age so Skye has served as her anchor and emotional support. My dog has a neurological disease where her back legs don't function, and to fix this she would have to go through surgery which is very pricey, the hospital that we took her to was in Brewster NY. My dogs best friend is my daughter, Skye is very loving, loyal, and very supportive. She's always full of joy and has a lot of energy, she loves playing and it is truly sad to see her not able to do the things she loves. I am mother of four and I take care of two other kids, and this happening to Skye was not on my list, I wasn't prepared for this to happen. It is hard seeing Skye not moving around like she usually does and I would really appreciate any sort of help, she is an amazing dog.

This is my "son", Ares. Ares came into our lives seven years ago and ever since then, he's been a big part of our family. As a son and a sibling, he's changed all of our lives with his funny character and his commitment to our family. He was the "runt" of his litter on a ad on Craigslist due to a crooked tail, but I didn't see a runt. All I saw a was a fur baby who just needed unconditional love. Ares is currently suffering from a bilateral perineal hernia, mega colon & diverticula which makes it painful to use the bathroom WHEN he is able to. During the prolonged waits, we've also been taking him to get an enema done with a local vet to make using the bathroom less painful & strenuous on his body. He will also be getting neutered in the process. I can attach his treatment plan if needed. Ares is not just a "dog", but a family member. He is the most loving and caring fur baby that we've been blessed to come across. He may be tiny, but his desire and love to protect each and every one of us out weighs his body. This boy just means the absolute world to us all and we want to have him in our lives for as long as he is given with the proper treatment. As a last resort and due to having a child on a way, also being back and forward with different vets, and long waits just to get seen, this unfortunate event came unexpectedly. Having our baby boy healthy again will mean SO much to our entire family.

We got burrito as a kitten who recovered from a broken pelvis. She lives with myself, my wife, and my dog chippy, we love animals and volunteer at 3 shelters. She is extremly constipated, and with a narrow passage from her early break - this is difficult. Review the xray you can see it is a risk of megacolon. I was told 2-3 days multiple enemas and others. The bill is apparently beteen 6000-8500. I don't want to lose my kitty she is very lethargic and rarely eats. It looks so bad. She loves video games on the tablet. She had a broken pelvis so she walks interesting. If you talk too loud she will yell at you and maybe bite your ankles. I am starting my job tomorrow after being laid off for 6 months. This bill is extreme and i know it will be a lifetime of expenses and burdens such as trying to get mirolax down her throat but i love my cat and arent giving up.

Patches is my grandfather’s dog. He lives with me right now since my grandfather is in a personal care home. We take Patches for visits at the PCH so that he can spend time with my grandfather, the staff, and other residents. He is a joy to everyone he visits. Patches was diagnosed with seizures. He will get aggressive before a seizure and will try to bite due to being scared. He is doing better now that he is on medications to address the seizures. To help with his aggression, we want to get him neutered. Due to seizures, we are not able to use a low-cost neutering clinic. The estimation from his doctor at VCA Northside Animal Hospital is $953. My Grandfather has dementia, and Patches seems to comfort him. He loves going on visits and being around my dogs. He loves to cuddle. He also loves being in the backyard sunbathing. He loves his weekly visits to the dog park, where he runs around with his friend. I recently lost my 19-year-old terrier due to old age. He has been such a comfort to me. The reason we are seeking help is due to able to afford the high cost of the surgery. We had no concerns with his medications and routine dog visits. My grandfather is on a fixed income. He had saving, but a family member stole his funds. We are doing the best we can.

My heart is heavy as I share the story of my beloved dog, Stella. I adopted her and her sister, Athena, when they were just puppies. From the moment they came into my life, they brought endless joy and companionship. Stella n Athena are my babies. Stella is not just a pet; she’s family. Recently, she suffered an ACL injury that has left her in pain and unable to enjoy life as she once did. The vet has advised surgery, but the cost is overwhelming—around $3,000 per knee. Without this surgery, Stella’s condition will worsen, and she risks developing arthritis, taking away her chance to run and play with her sister, Athena. Stella and Athena are my children, while growing she only slept on my bed and snuggled with me, they are my life, they play hide n seek and loved playing in the pool. We celebrated her 1st bday with a party. I can not live without them. They are the light that’s shines in the morning. They are my everything, we have doggie conversations, they are my companion. But I feel helpless I used to work with children as a school bus driver but due to a fall I became disable to work and now received Disability but only Enough to pay bills and feed my girls I am destroyed that I can’t help my girl walk normal again, that I can’t take her pain away.

She was brought to me because she literally had no place else to go it was either me or the pound. I could not say no to my adorable Harley Quinn and she became my constant companion on that day. She is a adorable character that and is completely adored bye all that meet her. Today Harley was attacked bye my neighbors pit bull that picked her up and violently shook my baby until we were able to get the pit to drop her. When I got her inside I noticed that she was bleeding and that she had a mass that was forming on her tummy. We took her to Viking Veterinary Hospital in Moscow Idaho because we don't have ER Veterinary services in Lewiston ID Harley is a active lil girl. She is always at my side and loves to go on walks with me and her fur sister. She is also a great help when I become stressed or am about to have a mental health breakdown. She is also laying on top of me after I have had a seizure and licking my face to help me regain consciousness. She loves everyone she meets and our family would be devastated if she were lost to us I am on SSI and I would not be able to afford the vet bill without assistance. My Harley is my world and I don't know what I would do without her. She is a vital member of our family. It would mean the world to us to have her back 100%

I found Puppy when I had a broken heart so I'd like to say that she thinks that she is here for me. She's the sweetest most fun dog there ever was. She is like my shadow and we are inseparable. I'm so lucky she found me. I don't think I have ever loved a person as much as I love this little monster...Puppy and I have moved across the country because I was ill. We came to Indiana and met her bestie- Harold. He is also a yorkie. Now I am unable to work and she and Harold are in need of some veterinary care that I am unable to fund at this time. Harold has decaying teeth that I am afraid are hurting his poor mouth. Puppy has been very down and lethargic. Now I noticed a bad ear infection so its imperative she get to a vet. I really don't know where I would be without this dog. She can always make me smile. My family in Florida just adore her. I take her everywhere that I go and people light up when they see her! This dog is my everything, I am the only thing that she has in this world and I really just want her happy and healthy again. Dogs can't speak or help themselves. I am her only advocate in this world. She saved my life...
