Daisy

Daisy is a 9 year old Golden Retriever in Beaverton, OR, who needs $2,000 for Chemotherapy (Oral or IV).

Beaverton, OR

My whole life I always wanted a sweet Golden Retriever, my dream dog! When my children were 10 years old (I have twins ) I knew the love of a dog was something that every child should experience- joyful, silly pure love that is good for the heart and soul- when we went to pick her up at 8 weeks old I cried tears of joy she was the sweetest, most cuddly bundle of cuteness and it was instant love! When Daisy was having trouble breathing I rushed her to the ER (VEG) where they took x rays and discovered a lot of fluid in her abdomen- they drained over a quart from her, and then gave me the grim news that she most likely has hemangiosarcoma, a deadly form of cancer-we then had to bring her to Dove Lewis ICU and Med Vet the next Monday for follow up- we are devastated:( Daisy is the most loving, sweetest gentle dog ever- my Mother just passed in October 2024 and we are still dealing with that indescribable heartache and now we have to face this battle with our beloved Daisy. I am doing everything I possibly can for her and she is definitely showing signs of feeling much better! Her breathing is 90% better and you can see the light back in her eyes! We are hopeful I am a single Mother of 2 children- - They lost their Father to Cancer when they were 5, so you can imagine how hard this is for them- All of the ER visits and testing maxed out my credit cards and all I can afford is oral chemo for her- we are praying so hard for her!

Miles

Miles is a 10 month old Mix-Breed in Lindenhurst, , who needs $2,000 for Full Hip Replacement.

Lindenhurst

Miles came into our lives at just 12 weeks old, rescued from the streets by One Love Dog Rescue. We adopted him from there. He lives in a wonderful home that loves him so much! He needs our help to get into bed and get out. He can't be a real dog because he is in so much pain. He is taking a anti inflammatory and a pain killer when needed. Miles suffered an accident in our home. He slipped on our tile floor, and we heard him cry out in pain as his back legs gave way. We rushed him to the vet right after the accident, After a thorough examination, we found out that his hip was dislocated and he urgently needs a full hip replacement. We took him to Plainview hospital where there is only 1 Dr. that does this surgery on long island. Miles is the definition of love and affection. He’s always eager to snuggle, cuddle, and shower everyone with kisses. His goofy nature brings endless laughter, and his loyalty knows no bounds. Whether he’s curling up on the couch, wagging his tail in excitement, or simply resting his head on your lap, Miles has a heart full of unconditional love. We are doing everything we can to get Miles the care he deserves, but the cost of surgery is beyond what we can afford. We're reaching out to you, our friends, family, and community, for help. Any contribution, no matter how big or small will go towards his surgery and care

Buddy

Buddy is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in San Antonio, TX, who needs $1,823 for Cystotomy.

San Antonio, TX

I adopted Buddy in September of 2023 from a cat rescue. Before the rescue, he was living on the street. They think he was dumped. At that time he had a very bad infection in his tail and it had to be amputated. He has about two inches of tail now but it’s still very expressive. We live together in my apartment and keep each other company. I’m disabled, live in subsidized housing and he’s my ESA. Two weeks ago Buddy had an accident while we were cuddling. This was highly unusual so I called his vet who saw him that afternoon. An ultrasound showed crystals in his bladder and two small stones. He’s now on special food to try to dissolve the stones. His follow up ultrasound showed no change in the stones. We’re keeping him on the food but it’s likely he’ll need surgery. Buddy’s a very clever, playful and friendly cat. His favorite toy is his chirping bird toy. He also loves hair ties. He enjoys being on his cat tree or laying by the window looking outside. He also loves to lay on top of me and cuddle on the bed. His cuddles mean the world to me. He calms me when I’m anxious and cheers me when I’m low. It’s like he instinctively knows when he’s needed. The estimate for the surgery is $1823.08. I’m on social security disability and work part time to help make ends meet. I don’t have anywhere near that amount of money and have no way to get it. It’s breaking me up knowing I can’t afford what he might need.
