Juno

Juno is a 11 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Merrillville, IN, who needs $2,000 for Growth Removal Surgery.

Merrillville, IN

I inherited Juno, an eleven-year-old dog, from my brother three years ago. I also have Rolo, a three-year-old German Shepherd Coonhound mix; Callie, an eleven-year-old pit bull rescue; and Princess, a cat also inherited from my brother. All my pets get along great. They have access to my yard and my neighbor's yard, which together provide about an acre of space for them to run and play. I took Juno to the Coyne Veterinarian Hospital in Crown Point, Indiana today, where x-rays revealed a massive tumor in her stomach. Dr. Matthew Szalay is unsure if it's one large tumor or several small ones, and he won't know until surgery. He advised that surgery must be done within a week due to the tumor(s) pressing on her organs, causing bladder, spleen, and eating issues. Rolo and Callie are Juno's best friends. However, now that Juno is slowing down, she is happy that Callie takes over wrestling with Rolo so she can relax in peace! She is a couch potato but always loves to go on walks. She is super friendly and laid back with everyone she meets. I use to be afraid of pit bulls until I met her. She is a sweetheart. Unfortunately, Juno needs urgent surgery, and I do not have the necessary funds to cover it. She is not just an animal but a cherished member of my family. Your support in this critical moment would not only help save her life but also bring immense relief and joy to mine.

Bear was adopted in 2020 from a rescue in Northern Colorado, where he loved hiking, camping, and working with his mom. In August 2024, he moved to Southern California. Sadly, in February 2025, he was diagnosed with an ACL tear, making it painful to walk. He now needs TPLO surgery to regain a pain-free, active life. Any support helps him get back to doing what he loves! 🐾💙 Bear was diagnosed with an ACL tear on February 8, 2025, causing him pain and limiting his mobility. To help him walk and play again, he is scheduled for TPLO surgery on February 13, 2025, at Veterinary Surgical Specialists. This procedure will repair his knee and give him the chance to live pain-free. Any support toward his recovery means the world! 🐾💙 Bear is more than just a pet—he’s a dedicated service dog who helps his mom navigate daily life independently. Without him at his best, she loses that crucial support. Despite his important job, he’s also the biggest goofball, full of love, kindness, and tail wags. His sweet, caring nature brightens every day. Please help Bear heal so he can keep doing what he loves! 🐾💙 Bear’s TPLO surgery is expensive, and like many, we’re facing tough times. He needs this procedure to walk, work, and play again—pain-free. Without it, he can’t continue being my service dog. Your support means everything in helping Bear get back on his paws and back to work
