Bella came into my life as a rescue. She was born in a puppy mill and sadly, most of her litter succumbed to parvo. We were fortunate to nurse her back to health and give her a loving home. We've been together for 10 years now! Life changed dramatically when her beloved older sister passed away last Christmas. Bella understandably went through a period of depression. To help her heal, we rescued This is an emergency situation. Our beloved pet is experiencing a life-threatening condition called Pyometra, which requires immediate surgical intervention. The estimated cost of the surgery is $4,234.02, and the pet will need 24-hour post-operative care at Wilvet Emergency Veterinary Service in Salem, Oregon. the thought of losing them to this condition is unbearable. Bella is a social butterfly! She loves playing with other dogs, especially when she gets to be the leader in a game of tug-of-war. She's also a big fan of fetch and cuddling up close. As for toys, she doesn't have any specific favorites, but she enjoys anything she can chase or chew on. When it comes to treats, Bella's tail wags with excitement whenever she knows dinner is on the way. This unforeseen expense has created a significant financial hardship for us. With the rising cost of living, most of our income goes towards essential expenses like rent and food, leaving little room for unexpected emergencies. The thought of losing Bella….

Ophelia

Ophelia is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Burien , WA, who needs $2,000 for Mammary Chain Removal and Spay.

Ophelia was dropped off and abandoned after being bred multiple times. We are currently fostering her. She is incredibly sweet and deserves a second chance.. Veterinarian clinic is Maple Valley animal Hospital. The vet says without her being spayed during or after the surgery, her chances of cancer coming back or very likely. We are fostering this sweet girl who was repeatedly bred and later deserted. She went to the vet for vaccinations and blood work and tests revealed that she is suffering from mammary cancer. Subsequently, x-rays were conducted to check for any spreading to her lungs, and fortunately, there is no sign that it has spread to lungs. She needs the surgery and needs to be spayed.. Ophelia is a foster and we are trying to raise funds for her much-needed surgery.. So far we have raised 1900, we are almost halfway there. Please consider helping this amazing pup.

I adopted Ariel from Cause 4 Paws in August 2022, when she was about to turn 7 years old. We met at an adoption event at a bottle shop and it was love and belly rubs at first sight. I had been wanting a dog for a little while, having had dogs my whole life. Her name is the name she has had since her owner before me, who was no longer able to care for her and I decided to keep it. This year has been a hard year for Ariel. She had a growth removed from her foot early this year and never quite bounced back with arthritis developing shortly after. She has recently been diagnosed with cancer and we are weighing amputation and chemotherapy as options. Grace Park Animal hospital is her primary vet and Blue Pearl is the oncologist she sees. Ariel has been my main source of joy for the past 2.5 years. She has been with me through multiple life transitions and challenging times. She is the sweetest doggy, who loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. She has been my protector and best friend. She used to love to go on long walks, to the dog park, and wade in the water. I am a social worker and with her medical challenges this year and my own over the past few, I have no savings or income to cover the cost of the diagnostics, or whatever course of action we take and am in significant debt as a result.

Mocha was brought home on Halloween 8 years ago as a friend for our dog Bean who had terrible separation anxiety. She’s been with him ever since and gave birth to 5 beautiful puppies two separate times. One of her puppies Chai, stayed with our family and the three of them are a tight knit group in the household. Mocha currently has 50 small bladder stones causing her to urinate blood frequently. Previous to this she’d never had any medical problems. The stones have her in constant pain, shaking, and giving her difficulty using the bathroom. I’ve been told she has a week to receive a surgery but if she stops urinating before then I have to bring her in immediately. Mocha loves small soft squeak toys. She’s the most playful of her group, always ready to play. She’s energetic, and runs laps in the yard. She’s incredibly smart, and has a distinct personality. She likes belly rubs and to sit in your lap. She likes to dance with her paws in the air and on her hind legs. She’s more than a dog, she’s one of my best friends. I am currently a college student working full time throughout the winter break. I have very little savings and make around 500 a week. My parents are covering Beans medical bills and can’t open another line of credit.

Kira was brought from Mexico to Colorado when she was 2weeks old. Kira. Kira has spent her year and 4 months living with 2 other dogs and a cat that she loves equally. Currently, we are in between housing right now, staying at family friends or hotel rooms staying out of the cold for Kira’s healing. Kira is very playful and loves anybody she encounters. Kira was in a Hit and Run Vehicle Accident that was filed with police and nothing has been done. She will need her snout slightly reconstructed, her mouth stitched, and important healing around her paws. Kira will need surgery and medicine to help her fully recover. River View Animal Hospital has been taking care of Kira after we took her in for emergency care. Kira is the youngest of her siblings she has lived with a 5yo lab/pitt mix and an almost 2yo chihuahua. She is very playful and loves playing with kids. Kira is also very protective and is always on alert. She has been the biggest baby out of all of our pets and is babied by her siblings as well. We feel so bad that our baby is in so much pain and not the outgoing happy puppy she usually is. Right now my boyfriend and I are currently in search for stable housing while job searching and taking care of our dogs. We keep our dogs warm and fed but did not expect an accident to happen this severe, that we need help. We still hope whoever did this, comes forward.

Charlie unexpectedly came into my life six years ago when a friend/colleague forced me to go to the local humane society to meet Charlie. At the time, I did not believe I had the time/ability to be responsible for a dog. However, Charlie and I immediately had an unbreakable bond. A week Charlie went up for adoption and I sat outside in 5 degree weather for 8 hours to ensure I could be his dog dad! Charlie recently developed a mass on his back hind leg that the vet believes could be cancerous. On January 16, 2025 Charlie is scheduled to have this mass removed and evaluated to determine if additional cancer could be present in other parts of his body. Charlie maintains regular veterinary services at Quail Hollow Veterinary Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Charlie truly is the sweetest dog in the world as he greets everyone he meets with a huge smile and a wagging tail. Charlie is simply one of those dogs that can never be replaced as he is kind, compassionate, and so gentle. He provides unconditional love to not only myself but my friends and family. Charlie makes the world a better place solely with his existence as his happiness is contagious:) I work full-time with a limited income and am also a full-time graduate student actively paying my way through school with limited extra available at end of each month. Having Charlie healthy means he gets to continue spreading his joy to all he encounters!

Hello my name is Yazmin and I’m making this account to help my dad with his dog Frijolito. Frijolito was a stray that my dad took in, being a long time lover of animals my dad couldn’t resist. My dad is currently struggling to find a job and is on SNAP but is doing everything in his power to give Frijolito the life he deserves. We are hoping to try to get him medication for his seizures that are happening, we aren’t sure why they are happening but we are hoping that with your help we could get to the bottom of this. Since rescuing Frijolito he’s been slowly trusting my dad more and more over time. Like I said he was a stray so we are unsure of his history with people but are trying our best to get him use to us so that my dad could love on him without scaring him or losing his trust. My dad is currently struggling to find a job (I don’t live with him) he is on SNAP and is waiting to hear about housing assistance. It would be AMAZING if we could get a little help from you guys to just get my dad the help he needs so Frijolito can be healthy and happy.

Grayson

Grayson and I met at the south Los Angeles animal shelter about 8 year ago. Poor thing was abandoned or lost and from his condition, quite some time. The moment we met, it was instant chemistry. He been by little buddy now for 8 years. For those of you that know him, you know he is the sweetest baby boy. Grayson has a fast growing tumor on his front leg. We've gone to a few vets and sadly they do not feel comfortable removing it so they are recommending a board certified surgeon which will cost more than $5000. Grayson is a chill dude. He loves scratches and his stuffed animal friends MooMoo and CoCo. When he is at home, he likes to sunbathe in the mornings. At around 3pm, he is ready for cuddle times. He is shy with new people. He will face a wall and wait for the anxiety to pass. If given a back scratch, he will open up. He loves long walks but lately it's been tough due to his arthritis and tumor. At the moment, I'm working as a nurses aid at a cancer hospital & attending a full time nursing program so my funds are limited. I normally wouldn't ask for help but times are different now. I would & have done the same for others so I hope for the same in return.
