Give Simba a Second Chance

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

Simba should be spending his days chasing toys, climbing cat trees, and discovering the world—not fighting through a medical emergency. This tiny kitten was rescued from the streets of South Florida by Cathy's Cats Corporation, where he was struggling to survive on his own. Like so many homeless kittens, Simba had already faced more hardship than any baby animal should ever endure. Then his condition took a frightening turn. Simba developed a rectal prolapse, a painful and potentially life-threatening condition that required immediate veterinary attention. Over the past two days, he has been rushed to two different veterinary hospitals as his symptoms continued and his rescue team worked tirelessly to get him the specialized care he desperately needed. Despite everything he's been through, Simba continues to fight with the resilience only a tiny kitten can have. His veterinary team is doing everything possible to stabilize his condition and determine the best course of treatment so he can begin healing. As he continues his recovery, Simba will require ongoing veterinary care, medications, close monitoring, and follow-up visits to give him the best possible chance at a healthy future. For a small rescue like Cathy's Cats Corporation, unexpected emergencies like Simba's quickly become overwhelming. But turning him away was never an option. Your donation will help cover Simba's emergency examinations, diagnostics, hospitalization, medications, treatment, and continued medical care as he recovers from this painful condition. Every dollar brings this brave little kitten one step closer to a life where he no longer has to fight just to survive. If you're unable to donate today, sharing Simba's story is another powerful way to help. Every share helps more compassionate people learn about his journey and the lifesaving work being done by Cathy's Cats Corporation. Simba has already survived life on the streets. With your support, he can overcome this medical crisis and finally experience what every kitten deserves—a life filled with safety, comfort, love, and the chance to simply be a kitten. Thank you for giving Simba hope and for helping Cathy's Cats Corporation continue saying "yes" to animals with nowhere else to turn. Update 7/14/2026 It's official, Simba had to undergo surgery. 😞 He had to have a surgical procedure on his butt to put everything back where it's supposed to be. He remains at the vet for post-op recovery and care, and could use every bit of support he can get. Unfortunately, this emergency surgery ran Simba's overall vet costs even higher, and it's now well into the thousands. Please, if you're able, consider donating to support this little fighter's ongoing medical care. ❤️ We appreciate each and every one of you.

From a Junkyard to a Chance at Life

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

Their journey has included everything they needed to thrive: neuter surgeries, FIV/FeLV testing, vaccinations, microchips, parasite treatment, nutritious food, and countless hours of dedicated care. While these kittens are now healthy and full of hope, the cost of giving them this second chance has been significant. Every donation helps Cathy’s Cats Rescue recover the medical expenses that made their rescue possible and ensures the next litter of kittens in need can receive the same lifesaving care. The Cost of Not Spaying: Luna’s Fight to Survive Pyometra

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

When Luna first came to us, we believed she was pregnant. Her belly was swollen, and she wasn’t feeling well—but something didn’t seem right. Instead of preparing for kittens, Luna was quietly slipping into a life-threatening crisis. After urgent evaluation, we discovered the truth: Luna, an unspayed cat, was suffering from pyometra, a severe and often fatal infection of the uterus. Rather than carrying life, her uterus was filling with infection and toxins, putting her entire body at risk. By the time she reached Cathy's Cats Corporation, Luna was very sick. Pyometra can progress quickly, leading to lethargy, loss of appetite, fever, and a dangerously swollen abdomen. In many cases, if not treated immediately, it can result in sepsis and death. There is only one way to save a cat with pyometra: emergency spay surgery. Luna was rushed into surgery just in time. Her infected uterus was successfully removed, giving her a chance to survive—but her journey doesn’t end there. In addition to recovering from this life-threatening infection, Luna is also dealing with what appears to be a tail pull injury, a painful condition often caused by trauma that can damage the nerves in the tail. Because of this, she will likely need a tail amputation to prevent ongoing pain, infection, and further complications. Luna’s story is heartbreaking—but it’s also important. Pyometra is completely preventable. It only occurs in unspayed female cats, and it often looks like pregnancy at first, which can delay lifesaving treatment. A routine spay is simple and safe, but when delayed, it can turn into a costly emergency and a fight for survival. Now, Luna is facing not just one, but multiple medical hurdles. She needs continued veterinary care, medications, monitoring, and potentially another surgery to give her a pain-free, healthy future. Your support today will go directly toward: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\- Her emergency pyometra surgery - Post-operative care and medications - Ongoing monitoring and follow-up visits - Possible tail amputation and recovery care Luna didn’t deserve to suffer from something preventable—or to endure the trauma that led to her additional injuries. But thanks to rescue, she has a second chance. Please donate and share to help us be there for Luna—and for the many cats like her who need us before it’s too late. 7/28/26 Update When Luna first came into our care, we believed she was pregnant. Instead, she was fighting for her life with pyometra, a severe uterine infection that required emergency surgery to save her. It was a frightening diagnosis, but thanks to quick intervention and the support of so many compassionate donors, Luna received the lifesaving care she desperately needed. Today, we're thrilled to report that Luna has made a full recovery. She has healed completely from her surgery and is doing wonderfully. Her strength has returned, her personality is shining, and she is finally able to enjoy life free from the pain and illness that once threatened her future. Even more exciting, Luna has traveled to New Hampshire, where she is now being cared for in a loving foster home while she waits for her forever family. After everything she's endured, seeing her safe, comfortable, and preparing for adoption is the outcome we dreamed of from the very beginning. Luna's journey is a powerful reminder of why rescue matters. Because of your generosity, what could have been a tragic ending became the start of a beautiful new chapter. From all of us at Cathy's Cats Corporation, thank you for believing in Luna and helping give her a second chance. Your donations made her emergency treatment possible, and now she has the opportunity to find the loving home she has always deserved. We can't wait for the day we can share that Luna has found her forever family. Until then, thank you for being part of her incredible journey.

Dusty Needs a Fresh Start — And Your Help to Get There 🐾🧡

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

Dusty showed up at someone’s home looking for help — and it was clear he had been fending for himself for far too long. This sweet boy is friendly, resilient, and ready for a second chance, but he needs medical care before he can safely move forward. Dusty has tested FIV positive, which means keeping him healthy and protected is especially important. He’s also not neutered, and he arrived with an abscess on his leg or tail that required immediate treatment. He has already received an injection of antibiotics (Convenia) to help fight the infection, but his care is just beginning. To give Dusty the fresh start he deserves, Cathy's Cats Corporation is working to provide: • Neuter surgery • Core vaccinations • Microchip for lifelong safety • Flea treatment • Deworming • Follow-up care for his abscess Despite everything he’s been through, Dusty is sweet and trusting. He chose to walk up to a home and ask for help — and now we want to make sure he never has to struggle outside again. Your donation will help cover the cost of Dusty’s medical care so he can heal, be fully vetted, and move toward a safe indoor life. Even a small contribution helps us give Dusty the healthy future he deserves. Please consider donating and sharing Dusty’s story. Together, we can turn a rough start into a bright new beginning for this deserving boy. 6/5/26 Update We are thrilled to share that Dusty has completed his medical care and is doing well! Thanks to the incredible support of our donors, Dusty received the veterinary treatment he needed, including care for his abscess, neuter surgery, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and the other services necessary to help him begin a healthier, safer life. What started as a plea for help from a tired, injured cat has turned into a story of hope and healing. When Dusty first appeared at a kind stranger's home, it was clear he had been surviving on his own for far too long. Help 17-Year-Old Sammy Finally Have the Peace He Deserves

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

Sammy is 17 years old. At this stage of life, he should be spending his days curled up in a warm bed, enjoying gentle pets, and living out his golden years surrounded by love. Instead, Sammy’s life took a heartbreaking turn. Over the years, he was shuffled from home to home until he eventually ended up with a friend of the daughter of the woman who originally adopted him. Somewhere along the way, contact was lost—and so was Sammy’s safety. No one knows exactly what happened, but this sweet senior cat suddenly found himself homeless, trying to survive in a colony with eight other cats. For a cat like Sammy—friendly, gentle, and used to the comforts of a home—life outdoors was never where he belonged. After spending most of his life with people, this should not have been how his story ended. Thankfully, someone noticed him and reached out for help. Cathy’s Cats stepped in and went to bring Sammy to safety. The moment we met him, it was clear: Sammy is incredibly sweet and still loves attention. Despite everything he’s been through, he hasn’t lost his trust in people. Sammy was taken to the veterinarian for a full checkup. He was tested for diseases and received a complete senior blood panel. The good news is that overall, he is doing well. The only concern is some changes in his kidney function, which is very common in senior cats and something we can manage with proper care, monitoring, and diet. There’s also something very special about Sammy. He looks like he has \_two little noses\_. Sammy was born with a cleft palate, and someone loved him enough as a kitten to get him surgery to correct it. That surgery helped give him a chance at a normal life. Which makes it even harder to understand how, after all those years, he ended up abandoned in his old age. But that part of Sammy’s story is over now. Today, Sammy is safe in foster care, and he is so happy to be back inside where he belongs. He’s enjoying soft beds, gentle attention, and the comfort he clearly remembers and loves. Our biggest hope is that someone will step forward to give him a forever home where he can spend the rest of his days feeling cherished. Right now, we’re raising funds to cover Sammy’s veterinary care, diagnostics, senior bloodwork, and ongoing support for his kidney health as he settles into his foster home. Senior cats like Sammy are often overlooked, but they deserve love just as much—if not more—after everything they’ve been through. If you’re able to donate, your support will help us continue caring for Sammy and other vulnerable senior cats who need a second chance. And if you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion, Sammy is ready to give his heart to someone who won’t let him down again. After 17 years of life, loss, and resilience, Sammy deserves a peaceful ending to his story. Let’s make sure he gets it. 4/5/26 Update We are so happy to share the best possible news — Sammy has been adopted! At 17 years old, Sammy’s journey was filled with uncertainty and heartbreak. After being passed from home to home and eventually left to survive outdoors, we knew all he truly needed was a soft place to land and someone to love him through his golden years. Despite everything he endured, Sammy never lost his gentle spirit or his trust in people. Thanks to your support, Sammy received the veterinary care he needed, including his senior bloodwork and monitoring for early kidney changes. Once safe in foster care, he quickly reminded us just how much he loved the comforts of indoor life — cozy beds, warm blankets, and quiet companionship. It was clear he was ready for his happy ending. And now, he has it. Sammy is settling beautifully into his forever home, where he’s spending his days exactly as he should — curled up, relaxed, and surrounded by love. His adopter understands his needs as a senior and is committed to giving him the gentle care and comfort he deserves. Watching him finally feel secure and cherished is everything we hoped for. Stories like Sammy’s are why we never give up on senior cats. They may be overlooked, but they have so much love left to give — and they deserve peaceful, happy endings just like this one. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared his story, and cheered him on. You helped turn what could have been a heartbreaking final chapter into a beautiful new beginning. Enjoy your golden years, sweet Sammy. You are home.

From the Streets to Safety: Help Freya and Her 7 Babies

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

When Cathy's Cats Corporation got the call about Freya, she was still living on the streets — friendly, heavily pregnant, and far too young to be carrying such a heavy burden alone. Thankfully, Cathy's Cats Corporation stepped in and brought her to safety just in time. Once indoors, warm, and finally able to relax, Freya quickly gave birth. Nine tiny kittens entered the world under her watchful eye. Tragically, two of the babies passed away shortly after birth — a heartbreaking reminder of how fragile life can be, especially when a young mom has been struggling to survive outside. Now, Freya is caring beautifully for her seven surviving babies. She is attentive, protective, and endlessly devoted — despite being so young herself. Cats can begin reproducing at just four months old, which means Freya is still practically a kitten. No baby should be raising babies, and her story is exactly why spay and neuter is so critically important. Because she was rescued when she was, Freya’s remaining kittens have a real chance at healthy, happy lives. But before that can happen, this little family has a long medical road ahead. Freya and each of her seven babies will need: • Spay and neuter surgeries • Core vaccinations • SNAP testing • Microchips • Parasite treatment and prevention • Ongoing wellness care That is eight cats who will need full vetting before they can be safely adopted into loving homes. Your donation will help ensure: \\\\- Freya never has to raise another litter - Her kittens grow up healthy and protected - This cycle of street survival and early pregnancy stops here Freya did her part — she kept her babies alive against the odds. Now it’s our turn to do ours. Every dollar helps this young mama and her seven little miracles move from survival to security, from the streets to forever homes. Please consider donating and sharing to help Freya and her babies get the healthy start — and the brighter future — they deserve. 6/15/26 Update After being rescued just in time, Freya safely gave birth indoors and devoted herself to caring for her seven surviving kittens with incredible love and dedication. Though she was still practically a kitten herself, she proved to be an attentive and nurturing mother every step of the way. Now, with her kittens growing and thriving, Freya has reached an important milestone: she has officially been spayed. Because of your support, Freya will never have to endure another pregnancy or face the hardships of raising babies while trying to survive outdoors. The cycle ends here. Freya's rescue is a powerful reminder of why spay and neuter programs are so important. One young cat can give birth to multiple litters each year, creating an overwhelming cycle of homelessness and hardship. By helping Freya, you have changed not only her future but the future of countless cats who will never be born into life on the streets. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared her story, and helped make her care possible. Your generosity provided safety, veterinary care, and a brighter future for this deserving young mom and her kittens.

Jagger Was Saved Just in Time — Now He Needs Help Healing

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

Jagger is a sweet, loving cat whose life was hanging in the balance. He was found outside by Cathy’s Cats Corporation just as a cold front was moving in. Had help not arrived when it did, we don’t know how Jagger would have survived the freezing temperatures ahead in the state he was in. When rescuers reached him, it was clear Jagger had been through something traumatic. He appeared to have been attacked by another animal, leaving him with a deep puncture wound on his hip. The injury was painful, dangerous, and at high risk of infection—especially for a cat left exposed to the elements. Jagger was immediately brought to safety and placed into a foster home, where he could rest and begin healing. From there, he was taken for urgent veterinary care. His wound required debridement and thorough cleaning to remove damaged tissue and prevent infection. While under care, Jagger was also neutered, vaccinated, and fully vetted, giving him everything he needs to start fresh and move toward adoption. Through it all, Jagger has remained exactly what his rescuers hoped for—gentle, affectionate, and trusting. Despite the pain he endured, he leans into love and shows nothing but gratitude to the people helping him. Thanks to quick action, Jagger is now safe, warm, and on the road to recovery. But emergency medical care, surgery, and follow-up treatment come at a cost, and Cathy’s Cats Corporation can’t do it alone. 💛 By donating today, you’re helping Jagger heal and giving him the chance at a forever home. Every dollar goes directly toward the care that saved his life and is preparing him for adoption. Jagger was found just in time. With your help, his best days are still ahead. 3/7/26 Update Jagger continues to recover, but he recently developed an upper respiratory infection, which is very common in rescued cats who have been through stress and medical treatment. He has been sneezing and showing mild symptoms, and he is now receiving medication and supportive care to help him feel better. To prevent spreading illness, Jagger was initially moved into a separate sick room. However, we quickly realized how much he missed being around people and other cats. Jagger is such a loving, social boy that being completely isolated made him very sad—he would cry out because he couldn’t see anyone. Because of this, we moved him to a different recovery space where he is still safely separated from the healthy cats, but can now see and hear people and other cats who are also recovering. This change has already helped lift his spirits, and he seems much more comfortable knowing he’s not alone. Despite this small setback, Jagger remains the same sweet, affectionate cat who just wants love and companionship. With continued treatment and rest, we are hopeful he will bounce back quickly. Thank you to everyone who has supported Jagger’s journey so far. Your kindness is helping him heal, stay comfortable, and move closer to the loving future he deserves. 3/21/26 Update We’re thrilled to share the final update on sweet Jagger — and it’s the happy ending we’ve all been hoping for. Jagger has fully recovered from his injuries and subsequent upper respiratory infection, and he is now healthy, happy, and ready to find his forever home. When Jagger was first found outside by Cathy’s Cats Corporation, he was suffering from a painful puncture wound and facing dangerous cold weather. Thanks to quick rescue, veterinary care, and a loving foster home, he was able to heal both physically and emotionally. Even after developing a temporary upper respiratory infection during recovery, Jagger handled everything with his signature gentle and affectionate personality. Today, Jagger is feeling great. His wound has healed, his URI symptoms have resolved, and he’s back to being the loving, social boy everyone fell in love with from the start. He enjoys attention, seeks out companionship, and is more than ready to begin the next chapter of his life in a permanent home. This journey would not have been possible without the compassion and generosity of everyone who supported Jagger along the way. Your donations helped cover his emergency care, medical treatment, and recovery, giving him the chance not only to survive—but to thrive. Now, Jagger’s best days truly are ahead. He’s safe, healthy, and ready to find the loving family he’s been waiting for. Thank you for helping give Jagger his second chance and a bright future filled with warmth, comfort, and love. 💛🐱

Help Baby Boo Breathe Easier

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

Rescued as a stray, Baby Boo was taken into foster care through Cathy’s Cats Corporation, where he was finally safe and on his way to finding a loving home. But soon after arriving, it became clear something wasn’t right. Baby Boo began coughing and wheezing severely—episodes that looked frighteningly like choking and left everyone worried about his ability to breathe. Baby Boo was rushed to the veterinarian for X-rays and diagnostic testing to rule out life-threatening causes such as obstructions or foreign objects. Thankfully, no blockage was found. During this visit, Baby Boo was also neutered so he wouldn’t have to endure additional anesthesia later. While the tests ruled out the worst possibilities, they revealed that Baby Boo is suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection, which can be especially dangerous for kittens. He has begun a course of antibiotics and supportive care to help him breathe comfortably and recover fully. Veterinary visits, diagnostics, imaging, anesthesia, and medications add up quickly—especially for a small, volunteer-supported rescue. Cathy’s Cats Corporation relies entirely on donations to provide medical care like Baby Boo’s and to ensure kittens get the treatment they need to survive and thrive. Baby Boo needs your help to cover the cost of his medical care. Your donation today goes directly toward his X-rays, diagnostics, neuter surgery, medications, and follow-up care. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Baby Boo’s story helps ensure he gets the support he needs. Because of compassion and quick action, Baby Boo has a chance to breathe easier, heal, and grow into the healthy kitten he deserves to be. Thank you for helping make that possible. 3/21/26 Update We’re excited to share the final update on Baby Boo — and it’s wonderful news! After being rescued as a stray and struggling with severe coughing and wheezing from a serious upper respiratory infection, Baby Boo has made a full recovery. Thanks to prompt veterinary care, diagnostics, and treatment, he was able to get the medications and support he needed to heal. Today, Baby Boo is doing so well and is full of energy. The frightening breathing episodes are behind him, and he’s back to being a playful, curious kitten who’s enjoying life to the fullest. He’s running, exploring, and soaking up attention — exactly what we hoped to see once he recovered. This turnaround would not have been possible without the support of everyone who helped cover his X-rays, neuter surgery, medications, and follow-up care. Your generosity helped ensure that Baby Boo received everything he needed to breathe comfortably and grow into a healthy kitten. Help Domino Learn That Food—and Safety—Will Always Be There

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

Domino has known fear far longer than he’s known kindness. Before Cathy’s Cats Corporation stepped in, Domino lived a life of constant terror and neglect. The neighbor across the street would open their door and allow three dogs to run loose—chasing this poor, frightened cat again and again. Domino had nowhere safe to go. No protection. No one to intervene. By the time he was rescued, the toll of that life was painfully clear. Domino was horribly neglected. He was painfully thin. When food was finally placed in front of him, he didn’t eat calmly—he ate like a lion, terrified that it would disappear, because for so long, it always had. Since coming into care, Domino has begun the long road toward healing. He has now been: \\- Neutered - Fully vaccinated - Tested for common diseases - Microchipped - Treated for fleas and lice - And, due to severe dental disease, had all of his teeth removed These procedures were necessary to relieve his pain and give him a chance at a healthier future—but they come at a cost. Right now, Domino is safe. He is warm. He is eating regularly. But he still carries the emotional scars of a life where nothing was guaranteed—not food, not safety, not kindness. Your support helps Cathy’s Cats Corporation cover Domino’s medical care and gives him the time he needs to heal both physically and emotionally. Most importantly, your donation helps show Domino that he will never have to fight for survival again. Every contribution—no matter the size—helps rewrite Domino’s story. Thank you for standing up for a cat who never had anyone stand up for him before. 3/7/26 Update Because of your incredible support, we’re thrilled to share some wonderful news about Domino’s journey. Thanks to the donations that helped cover his veterinary care, Domino was able to receive all of the treatment he needed—including his dental surgery, vaccinations, neuter, and other essential care. With his health stabilized, Domino was ready for his next big step. And it’s a big one. Domino recently traveled north with the help of a partner rescue, where shelters and rescues are not overcrowded like they are here in Florida. In many northern communities, there is actually a shortage of adoptable cats, giving Domino a much better chance at finding a loving home quickly. After everything he endured—the hunger, the fear, and being chased by dogs—Domino is finally in a place where his future looks bright. We are incredibly hopeful that he will be adopted very soon and begin the peaceful, safe life he always deserved. This happy ending would not have been possible without the kindness of everyone who supported Domino’s campaign. Your generosity helped turn a story of neglect and fear into one of healing and hope. From all of us at Cathy’s Cats Corporation, and especially from Domino—thank you for giving him the chance at a new life.

💔 ABANDONED IN A TOWNHOUSE — THIS SWEET MAMA AND HER NEWBORNS NEED HELP

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

Cathy’s Cats Corporation recently rescued a young mama cat and her three tiny babies who were heartbreakingly left behind in a townhouse after the tenants moved out. When our team arrived, mama greeted us with pure sweetness, despite everything she’d been through. Her babies were so small they had just opened their eyes—completely helpless, hungry, and depending on her for survival. Now safe, this little family has begun their full veterinary journey, but they need our help. ✨ What this family needs: 🔹 Wellness exams for mom and her kittens 🔹 Vaccinations, microchips, and snap tests 🔹 Spay surgery for mama 🔹 Future spay/neuter for the babies when they're old enough Just yesterday, mama went into heat, a harsh reminder of how fragile their situation is. Many don’t realize: 🔸 A mother cat can get pregnant again while still nursing her current litter 🔸 Her kittens can reproduce at just four months old Without intervention, this sweet family could have quickly become dozens of cats struggling to survive. But now they have a chance — and you can help give them the healthy, safe future they deserve. FANG HAS BEEN SUFFERING FOR TWO YEARS — NOW HE FINALLY HAS A CHANCE

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

For two long years, a community cat known as Fang lived with a painful fractured jaw. A feeder tried to care for him, but she could never catch him… and without medical attention, his injury only grew worse. Today, Fang is finally safe — trapped and rescued by Cathy’s Cats Corporation — but his condition is heartbreaking. This sweet boy is very sick, unsterilized, and in constant pain. His old fracture never healed correctly, and vets believe he now needs major surgery, including: removal of his damaged fang, and a specialized surgical repair of a serious oral–nasal fistula (a hole between the mouth and nasal cavity that can cause infection, chronic pain, and difficulty eating). Despite everything he’s endured, Fang is gentle, scared, and exhausted — but he’s finally in the hands of people who won’t give up on him. Cathy’s Cats is committed to giving Fang the second chance he’s waited two years for, but they cannot do it alone. These advanced surgeries are beyond the rescue’s small budget, and Fang urgently needs help to relieve his suffering. Your donation will directly fund the medical care that will save his life, end his pain, and let him finally heal. No amount is too small — every single dollar brings Fang closer to comfort, safety, and a future without fear.

While she came in for TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return), the happiest surprise is that she turned out to be friendly too—meaning she’ll also have the chance at a loving home! Raja and Rambo are now safe, loved, and learning to trust people. But before they can be adopted, they need to be neutered, vetted, and cared for. That’s where we need your help. Cathy’s Cats Corporation is a small, volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to TNVR and lifesaving rescue. While TNVR keeps community cats safe and stops the cycle of kittens being born on the streets, when young kittens like Raja and Rambo are found, it takes extra resources to get them adoption-ready. Update 9/15/25 Raja and Rambo have been neutered and have received their vaccinations! These handsome boys handled their surgeries like champs and are already back to their sweet, playful selves.

Cat rescued from almost drowning in Florida intracoastal needs emergency care

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

Cleo’s life almost ended in the rough waters of Florida’s Intracoastal. She was spotted struggling desperately, the current slamming her tiny body into the seawall. Exhausted and terrified, she was moments from drowning when a Good Samaritan called Cathy from Cathy’s Cats Corporation. Cathy rushed to the scene and pulled Cleo from the water, her small body limp and trembling. She was rushed straight to the vet, where she is now hospitalized. Diagnostics are underway to determine the extent of her injuries. Cleo is having trouble moving her back legs, and her breathing remains heavy—both signs that she may have suffered trauma or internal damage. Right now, every hour matters. Cleo is receiving oxygen support, pain relief, and constant monitoring. Her road to recovery will depend on the results of her tests and the care she receives in the coming days. Cathy’s Cats Corporation is a small rescue with a big heart, but emergency cases like Cleo’s stretch resources to the limit. Your donation will go directly toward her hospitalization, diagnostics, and ongoing care to give her the best chance at survival and recovery.

Small kittens rescued during a big TNVR project need funding for spay and vaccines for the adoption program

Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation

During a recent TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) event, two tiny surprises appeared. Jenny and Jasmine, just 3 months old greeted rescuers with purrs and curiosity. It was clear they weren’t meant to live life on the streets. Cathy’s Cats Corporation, a small but mighty local rescue, couldn’t turn away from these sweet faces. They brought Jenny and Jasmine into foster care with hopes of finding them loving, permanent homes. But before these kittens can start their new lives, they need essential vet care: spay surgeries, vaccinations, combo testing, and microchips. As a volunteer-run rescue, Cathy’s Cats operates on a tight budget, dedicating most resources to TNVR to reduce the community’s stray cat population. Every adoption-ready kitten like Jenny and Jasmine is a chance to break the cycle—but only if they can receive the medical care they need. Your support will help cover their vetting costs and give Jenny and Jasmine the healthy, happy start they deserve. With your kindness, these little girls will be ready to purr their way into forever homes.
