Five-Year Waggle Foundation Birthday
On Waggle's 5th Birthday, we want to thank our donors, our rescue and veterinary partners, and our monthly FurEver Fund Contributors for helping save thousands of pets.

Waggle is celebrating its 5th Birthday! This anniversary has presented the ideal opportunity to review our exponential growth over the past five years. In large part, these achievements are your triumphs, too. Without the support of generous donors like you, we would not be able to accomplish all that we do.
We continue to be the trustworthy lifeline that families in need turn to as a first line of protection, so they do not have to consider that last-resort decision—economic euthanasia—for a beloved family pet.

HELP PETS TODAY BY BECOMING A MONTHLY FUREVER FUND DONOR
Our dedication to this mission—to take a big bite out of owner-requested euthanasia—keeps us focused on countless ways we can help so no family has to consider the tragic option of economic euthanasia.
Here are a few ways Waggle has evolved and grown:
We have saved thousands of pets. In 2018, we were thrilled when we achieved the financial targets of dozens of campaigns, knowing that our platform kept the pets featured in those campaigns from a horrible and tragic end. From dozens to hundreds, and now thousands, Waggle has been saving pets from economic euthanasia for the past five years. That is because of you, our generous donors.
We're excited to share some highlights over the past five years with you:
- We have partnered with dedicated organizations in the animal welfare category, including Human Animal Support Services (HASS), the Humane Society of the United States, country music superstar Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation, Maddie's Fund, and Community Cats, a part of the Animal Humane Society.
- We work with over 1100 veterinary practices throughout the States—an increase of 10 percent in the past year!

BE A PART OF WAGGLE'S NEXT SUCCESS STORY BY BECOMING A FUREVER FUND MONTHLY DONOR
- Over 700 animal rescues and shelters come to us, an increase of 15 percent in the past year, to help them bring owned and unowned pets back to good health.
- We are proud to say that many shelters regularly rely on us for that silent helping hand: They know that when they create a campaign on Waggle, it will succeed! One such rescue organization is One by One Animal Advocates. Their success stories include Marley, Karli, and Roxie. These sweet pets are just a few saved from economic euthanasia because of Waggle and our donor base.
- We have helped raise over $2 million for pets featured on our platform—and the donations to our campaigns are almost all contributions of smaller amounts. As a small non-profit, we work with community foundations and grass-root animal organizations to help spread our mission to end economic euthanasia.
- Some noteworthy partnerships include The Wallaby Foundation and community foundations like The Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut and the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven.
- After the devastation of Hurricane Ian, Waggle decided to begin a Disaster Relief fund and provide resources for preparing for disaster with your pet. We raised thousands of dollars and funded the campaigns of a dozen pets impacted by hurricanes, floods, and freezing temperatures over the past year.

- Lastly, we have grown Waggle's FurEver Fund. This fund allows us to help countless animals with matching or even outright grants to the neediest cases. We are committed to expanding the number of monthly donors to the FurEver Fund this year and ask that you consider becoming a FurEver Fund monthly donor to save pets and families in need.
We cannot thank you enough for joining us as we inch forward to our goal of eliminating economic euthanasia, allowing our furry family members to live out their best and most natural lives. We could not do the work we do without YOU our donors.
With a Great Dane of appreciation,
Steven Mornelli
CEO of Waggle
