Jiggy
Jiggy is a 8 year old American Shorthair in Cedar Rapids, IA, who needs $2,500 for Blood Transfusion.
Cedar Rapids, IA
I adopted Jiggy from Cedar Valley Humane Society Society. Jiggy had been brought in by a women who stated that her boyfriend had been shooting him with a BB gun in their backyard while Jiggy was a stray. This caused Jiggy to have a permanently turned down ear. Jiggy’s age is unknown but was estimated to be 6 at the time. I have had him almost 3 years and will be 9 in August. Jiggy is FIV+ and FELV+. This causes him to have a very weak immune system. Jiggy currently has a grade 1/2 heart murmur and very early stages of heart disease. Jiggy struggles with allergies/asthma and his most recently blood work at Peterson Pet Hospital in Cedar Rapids, show he is now anemic. This could be a serious issue and it is important for early diagnosis for the best outcome. Jiggy is the most perfect cat I have ever had. He is an amazing cuddle buddy and loves to talk our ears off when we come home or when he wants food! Our stud loves to lay around, sunbathe, and watch anything and everything out the window. He loves to be around people and always is right next to us. Jiggy’s favorite thing is being brushed. He will even brush himself if we just hold the comb out! Due to Jiggy’s issues he never qualified for pet insurance. With repeated vet visits, this year alone I have spent roughly $1460 on vet care. Now he needs diagnostics tests to help determine why he is anemic. If not treated we may lose our cuddle-bug and would be heartbroken

Chico
Chico is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Chicago, IL, who needs $2,033 for Heartworm Disease Treatment - Fast Kill Method.
Chicago, IL
Chico’s owners lied and abandoned him like disposable property. He arrived neglected and traumatized, but transformed into the gentlest 80lb soul dog. He’s a gentle giant who adores kids, cats, and his anxious dog sister, showing her how to feel safe. Taking him unexpectedly kept him out of the shelter system—where he’d likely be euthanized. He healed a part of my heart I didn't know was broken. Chico arrived unchipped, unvaccinated, and with severe ear infections. Beyond treating his ears, when I finally took him for full care, he tested positive for heartworm. Based on respiratory & cardiac symptoms, the vet suspects he’s had it for over a year. We are seeking help to cure this treatable disease. He’s being treated by Dr. Henderson at Vetco Total Care. Chico is a total character who dramatically huffs and grunts like an 8-year-old before obeying. He follows me for bedtime, demanding his own pillow and close cuddles. Whenever I return home, he gets zoomies and grabs his favorite purple Kong bear for tug-of-war. Despite being terrified of thunder and the dark, he’s a gentle soul who lays his head in my lap when I cry. He’s my true soul dog! As a teacher, I get no pay for 4 months (June–mid-Sept). I'm 2.5 months behind on rent and facing wage garnishments. Side jobs aren't enough to cover his care and my living expenses. Chico is the heart of my world. Saving his life is what keeps my hope alive right now.

Hades
Hades is a 1.6 year old American Shorthair in Rayne, LA, who needs $200 for Ultrasound, Radiograph, and Meds for Pregnancy.
Rayne, LA
Hades was born October 28th 2024 on the carport doorstep to an outdoor momma cat we were caring for. Mom stopped caring for her at 5 weeks so took on the her as well as her siblings. Hades was not happy indoors so she became and indoor/outdoor cat. Some time after Hades came back after disappearing for a little while we noticed wounds on her back and belly. We thought she might be pregnant but she had just eaten and was back to flat days later. 2 or 3 weeks ago she seemed pregnant again. She gave birth to 2 kittens 07/16 that didn't make it. 30-45 minutes later she vomited with blood present an had to wait til morning to get her to Vet. Hades has been with us since birth and even as an outside cat she still loves and trusts us like a lap cat. We have lost so much between Family Emergencies and Family Deaths...loss of a cat very important to my absolute soul. I can't imagine leaving her chances to whatever happens. I had cherry pay, they said I'd be able to use it if I brought it current. Not so much. I had a gift of 250 towards her care and now I only have 100.00 left because I caught my Cherry Pay up to be able to use it only to find out I can't because my approval expired. We're finally getting caught up after a Family Death rocked our worlds. Unpaid LOA sucks.

Blanca
Blanca is a 6 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Huntington, WV, who needs $300 for Diagnosis and Treatment.
Huntington, WV
Blanca has been my best friend for years and is a cherished member of my family. She lives with me and is deeply loved. She has always been loyal, loving, and by my side through everything. Blanca was treated for severe pancreatitis a few months ago at Ayers Animal Hospital by Dr. Ayers, and I went into debt to save her life. Now she is sick again with what appears to be a bladder or kidney issue and needs additional testing and treatment. I’m asking for help so she can get the care she needs. Blanca is the sweetest, most loyal dog and a true member of my family. She loves being close to me, follows me everywhere, and always knows how to make me smile. Her unconditional love has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life, and I can’t imagine life without her. A few months ago I went into debt to save Blanca’s life. Now she needs emergency care again, and I can’t afford another unexpected vet bill. Your support will help her get the treatment she needs and give us more time together.

Curly
Curly is a 13 year old Shih Tzu in Johnstown, PA, who needs $775 for Enucleation and Dental.
Johnstown, PA
Curly is a senior dog who lived alone for months after his owner died. As his health declined, the family decided they didn’t want him. We often take in strays and find them a home so we were called to help Curly. We definitely have a soft spot in our hearts (and on our couch) for these neglected and unwanted seniors. Curly needed help so we stepped up to give him a home until it’s time. Enucleation - With an untreated ulcer and abcess, Curly's eye was in danger of rupturing. Dr. Faith Dumm, his veterinarian at Cambria Veterinary Care, tried saving the eye with medicated drops, which we administered faithfully for weeks. However, his injuries were too severe to be corrected and had already caused blindness in the eye. To save him from an impending rupture, the eye will have to be removed. Dental - Also, Curly has an advanced heart murmur that's worsening due to his decayed teeth. Having most of his teeth extracted will eliminate his dental disease and possibly prevent him from going into congestive heart failure. Dr. Dumm at Cambria Veterinary Care will perform both surgeries. Since being rescued, Curly’s skin fungus has healed and his fur is growing back, he’s joined our pack of Tzus to help patrol the neighborhood and sniff the entire perimeter of the yard. He likes to supervise all yard work and likes to be covered with a blanket when he sleeps. He now snuggles into our shoulders when we hold him. I swear seniors know when they’ve been rescued. We have 3 dogs of our own, but Curly needed a soft place to land. We want to give him a second chance on living a pampered life. We can provide a home, food, love, beds, blankets, and regular vet visits, but we need help with the additional cost of his dental and enucleation.

Oakley
Oakley is a 5 year old Australian Shepherd in Lexington, , who needs $800 for ACTH Stimulation Test.
Lexington
Oakley has been a cherished member of our family since we brought him home as a puppy. He is a 5-year-old Red Merle Australian Shepherd who has grown up surrounded by love and has always been an important part of our household. Oakley is an inside dog and spends his days with our family, where he is treated as more than just a pet—he is truly family. Oakley is suspected with Addison’s disease, a lifelong condition that requires ongoing medical care, including monthly injections, daily medication, routine blood work, and regular veterinary visits. North Davidson Veterinary Hospital in Lexington, North Carolina. He has a gentle personality and always wants to be close to the people he loves. If there is water anywhere—a puddle, creek, lake, sprinkler, or hose—you can count on Oakley finding it. He absolutely loves the water and will happily play in it every chance he gets. Winter is his favorite season because he is obsessed with the snow. Oakley is also the biggest cuddle bug. I am a single mother raising my child on my own, and after losing my mother in December, my life was turned upside down. The grief was overwhelming, and I struggled to cope while trying to maintain my job. Having Oakley healthy again would mean everything to our family.

Duke
Duke is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Cumming, GA, who needs $200 for Right Front Leg Injury.
Cumming, GA
I rescued Duke when he was just a five-week-old puppy, saving him from a heartbreaking situation of severe abuse and neglect where he was left entirely alone day and night. Only one week after I finally convinced his previous owner to surrender him to me, Duke contracted parvovirus. He became so tragically ill that I could count every single rib bone on his fragile body, but he fought with everyth On June 16th, Duke was doing what he loves most—chasing a squirrel in our yard—when he suffered a horrific accident and popped his joint entirely out of its socket. I immediately took him to the vet and spent my entire remaining savings of $900 to get him stabilized and placed into a heavy medical splint. He has been trapped in this thick bandage for nearly three weeks, but today, our situation sh Born on September 21, 2024, Duke is the most extraordinary, intuitive soul I have ever known. Despite the severe abuse he suffered as a tiny puppy, he has absolutely zero malice in his heart and has grown into a soulful, fiercely loyal protector. For the past two years, Duke has truly been my only consistent friend. He has an incredible ability to sense when my anxiety spikes, and he will immediat I am a student with zero income, and my 70-year-old dad is on a fixed income. I spent my last $900 on Duke's splint, and my credit is poor. Duke is my rock. Your support at Crestview Animal Hospital will treat his painful sores and save my best friend's leg.

Sunny
Sunny is a 5 year old American Shorthair in Carrboro, NC, who needs $900 for Lung Radiograph, Sedation, and a CBC.
Carrboro, NC
Sunny became part of my life at six weeks old, from a foster home while I was living on Maui. I was going through a very difficult period after losing both my grandma and my soul cat, Carlos. When I saw Sunny’s photo in a cat rescue group, I felt an instant connection unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It truly felt meant to be, as if my grandma and Carlos sent her to me to help me heal. Sunny is a happy healthy girl, but we have been seeking care through the NC State Veterinary School’s internal medicine department for her chronic rhinitis and gastrointestinal issues. We have recently been conducting food trials, as well as an endoscopy and a head CT, to better diagnose her condition. While she was on a round of antibiotics, Sunny aspirated and has since developed pneumonia. Sunny (legal name Sunshine Rainbow Princess) is full of spunk and curiosity, and she is truly my shadow—she never misses a chance to help in the garden or watch a good show with me. She was a huge fan of her brother, Taco, and is remarkably gentle. Her friend Nova, who is blind, comes over occasionally, and Sunny is always so patient with her. She truly makes a special connection with everyone. I recently used my Sunny fund to cover the procedures required to diagnose her condition. Unfortunately, before I could recover financially, she contracted life-threatening pneumonia just two weeks later. Given this emergency, I am asking for help. She is my everything.

Blue
Blue is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Benson, NC, who needs $1,384 for Cardiologist Exam and Testing.
Benson, NC
I reused Blue from a bad situation when she was about 8 month old. She was scared of everything and it took a lot of time and care to gain her trust and get her to realize how brave and confident she is! She's now a brave, curious and loving girl who loves sunbathing, playing and talking smack to me when she doesn't get her way. She's my ESA and has loved me no mater what my limitations are Blue has recently gone into heart failure that is currently being treated with meds. Her cardio vet needs to see her for another appointment and has told me that once she is stable will need surgery to fix her heart so she won't go into heart failure again. I was told that if we decided not to do the surgery and only treat with mends she would go into heart failure again and wouldn't survive Blue has always been my joy. She not only is my ESA but also my baby. There isn't a day that goes by where she doesn't make me laugh at her silliness. She love kids and she hasn't met an animal she never liked! She even helped me raise baby chicks before. She loves to explore with me and if it wasn't for her I would forget to leave the house. And daily sunbathing is a must for her! I'm disabled and have no way of work. She was diagnosed with a grade 4 heart murmur that suddenly turned into heart failure. I've maxed out my care credit and 3 other credit cards and still can't afford treatment. She is my heart and soul and I will do anything I can for her

MooShu
MooShu is a 3 month old Mix-Breed in Soledad, CA, who needs $450 for Exam, X-rays and Treatment.
Soledad, CA
MooShu came into our lives as an injured stray kitten found crying on the streets. We couldn't leave him behind, so we brought him home, gave him a warm bath, and named him MooShu. He is currently resting safely on a blanket in our home, but he desperately needs medical diagnosis for his injuries. MooShu has a noticeable limp on his leg and cannot lift his tail at all, even when playing. This is an urgent situation to check for nerve damage or fractures. We need help covering the initial $240 vet exam and x-rays at the clinic so we can understand exactly what treatment he needs to heal. He will be seen at Pet Maintenance and Repair MooShu looks almost exactly like our 12.5-year-old cat, Parker, who recently passed away. We rescued her off the streets when she was the exact same age as MooShu, and we are certain she sent him our way because she knew we would help. Despite being injured and scared, he is incredibly brave. He loves playing and has a spunky personality that reminds us so much of her. As a low-income family, this sudden veterinary diagnostic cost is a major unexpected expense that we simply cannot afford on our tight budget alone. Having MooShu healthy and diagnosed would mean the world to us.

Mochi
Mochi is a 10 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Bakersfield, CA, who needs $1,500 for Extract Carnassial Routine.
Bakersfield, CA
Mochi was adopted 10 years ago, June 11th, 2015. He was part of a pair of twin yorkies that were very playful and he loved on us immediately. He has been with us through every house we've moved to and every difficulty we've had. He currently is living with us alongside a pet bird named Potato. His name was selected because his twin brother was named Miso, so we thought Mochi sounded just as cute. Mochi currently has Tooth Root abscess, which means he has a large, pus and blood filled pocket on the side of his face that needs to be cleaned and washed often. He is currently taking Amoxicillin and Meloxicam but has worsened to the point where he urgently needs surgery to remove the infection and to save his mouth and his life. His hospital is the VCA Bakersfield Animal Hospital. Despite his age, he plays and acts like he's been a puppy his entire life. He loves playing outside, being in everyone's business, being clingy to everyone he meets, and naps it all away before doing it again the next day. He loves watching the outside through his window we set up just for him. He brings joy to absolutely everyone he meets, even if he's nervous and shy at first. This was a very sudden emergency, our entire family is living under one roof and can only sometimes afford groceries. We cannot afford what he needs without selling all we have left. We care more about him than ourselves, and we want the best for him.

Zeus
Zeus is a 4 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Onamia, MN, who needs $550 for Ear Infection Treatment.
Onamia, MN
We adopted & bottle fed Zeus since he was four days old. He was shunned from his mother because he was the “runt” & had medical issues. He's been a part of our life for four years. We moved from California to Minnesota 8/25, he rode all the way here with no issues, he's always been in good health. In CA we took him to the local veterinary clinic in Clearlake & he was diagnosed fully blind in one eye, 90% in the other, & was mentally impaired. He's always been in good health, but he has an ear infection & is shaking his head a lot, it's beginning to impact his balance. Zeus is a purebred miniature Pitbull, naturally he sounds vicious. Once you get to know him his sounds are playful & he spins around in circles when he sees people he likes, he plays with plastic bottles until they pop their top, every time he eats he growls because he's afraid somebody's going to take his food. He sounds mean, but he's the sweetest dog in the world. Since our move from CA my fiancé has learned he’s disabled & cannot work. Our 83y old, Vietnam Veteran, family member is with us & we are providing unpaid care services for him. I am on the Dean's list in paralegal school attempting to better our future financially.

Lulu
Lulu is a 8 year old Dachshund in Robbinsville, NJ, who needs $600 for Precursor Immune-Mediated Anemia.
Robbinsville, NJ
Lulu has been part of our family for years and is truly one of us. She lives at home with me and our other dogs, and they are very bonded—she always tries to keep up with them. She’s gentle, loving, and has always had a quiet, sweet presence. Her name just fit her soft personality, and it stuck from the beginning. Lulu has been battling PIMA, a serious autoimmune condition where her body attacks her red blood cells. She is being treated by our veterinary hospital and has required multiple transfusions, along with intensive medications. This is not a quick fix—it’s ongoing and unpredictable. She’s fighting, but the cost of continued care is overwhelming. Lulu is the kind of dog who asks for nothing but gives everything. She’s calm, affectionate, and deeply connected to our family. She loves being near us, quietly following from room to room. Even now, she still tries to be part of everything, wagging her tail and staying close—it’s impossible not to love her. We’ve been managing Lulu’s care for months, but the repeated transfusions, medications, and emergency visits have become overwhelming. This was sudden and unexpected, and we simply weren’t prepared for costs at this level. Having help would mean we can continue her treatment

Nova
Nova is a 2 year old German Shepherd Dog in Erwin, TN, who needs $1,000 for Foot Amputation.
Erwin, TN
Nova came into my life in December 2025 from the Las Vegas Animal Shelter, a quiet, gentle soul who somehow felt like home from the very first moment. They said she needed me, but I know the truth is I needed her more. Her name came to me that first night—she curled up beside me, looked up with those soft, knowing eyes, and it felt like a light had sparked in the dark. A nova, sudden, bright While we were homeless in Nevada, Nova and my husband were hit by a car. She suffered severe injuries to her foot, and despite ongoing care since returning to Tennessee, it hasn’t healed. Veterinarians now say the damage is too extensive, and her foot will need to be amputated to relieve her pain and help her heal. The doctors at All Tails clinic in Jonesboro have done a great job Nova has this gentle way of knowing when someone needs her—she’ll quietly press against you, like she’s holding you together. She follows us everywhere, always close, always watching. With my husband, she’s playful and protective; with me, she’s my calm in the chaos—my heart on four paws. Since returning to TN, Nova’s injured foot hasn’t healed and now must be amputated at All Tails Vet Clinic. I’m unemployed and job hunting with no callbacks, Zack works part-time, and we’re currently staying with a friend in JC

Zero
Zero is a 4 year old Boston Terrier in San Antonio, TX, who needs $500 for Diagnosis and Treatment.
San Antonio, TX
We've had our Zero since Christmas 2022. He was a gift to me that Christmas and we were so happy to give our other fur baby, Bishop, a little brother. We gave him that name because of the movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas", where the ghost dog's name was Zero and since we had gotten him for Christmas, we found it fitting. We've noticed for the past 3 days that Zero has been bleeding when going potty, with the blood being more and more each day. We are not sure what it is he has, though we do think he will be needing an x-ray. We ask for the help in order to know what's wrong and hopefully help him get better. We would be taking him to Town & Country Veterinary Hospital. Zero is a very noble and loving dog. He is very kind and loves playing/annoying his big brother, Bishop. He enjoys anybodies company and is quite needy. He will follow you wherever you go, no matter what. Zero is always trying to copy his big brother, trying to sleep under blankets but he can never lift the blanket up enough so he just gives up and lays on top. He also snores very loud. I just got divorced and came to San Antonio to live with my daughter. We just got an apartment here which we spent the last of our money on. I dont have a job yet nor a car nor money but this is an emergency for Zero so we ask for your help🙏❤️

Katie Bug
Katie Bug is a 13 year old American Shorthair in Akron, NY, who needs $500 for Follow Up Exam Because Meds Aren't Working.
Akron, NY
My husband and I adopted Katie Bug when she was around 6 weeks old. She is going on 14 now. She has always been my little shadow. We called her Bug because she has a bug pattern on her back. Katie Bug has lost a lot of weight, and she is refusing to eat. I took her to a local vet last Monday. The vet told me that Katie's lower jaw was inflamed. Katie got a shot, and the vet sent meds home with me. But, Katie is not showing any improvement. The vet also said that it could be cancer. I want a 2nd opinion. I do not have pet insurance, so I pray that you can help us. Katie Bug has always had the sweetest nature. She loves giving kisses, she always slept next to my head in bed at night, and I always called her my furry little piggy. She had a huge appetite! At her largest, she weighed 9 lbs. Today, she weighs 3 lbs. Her tongue is always hanging out, and she's drooling all over everything. I am 72 and on Social Security. I do not have pet insurance. I love my Bug, and I want her healthy again. If that isn't possible, then I want her put to sleep and cremated. I want her ashes back home with me.

Daphne
Daphne is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Madison, WI, who needs $500 for Ultrasound.
Madison, WI
My ex and I adopted Daphne in September of 2020. She was four months old and had come from a feral colony. She was scared when we brought her home; she would hide in the closet all day until we went to sleep. Then she would eat, drink, use the litter box, and play! Over time, she warmed up to us. She moved halfway from NH to WI with me, my ex, and her adoptive sister Suzu in 2021. In late March, I noticed that Daphne's belly was getting big. At first, I chalked this up to her eating Suzu's food. But then, one night, she vomited several times, so I brought her to the UW-Madison emergency vet. They drained 700ml of fluid from her abdomen. Our primary vet, Underdog Vet Services, saw a mass on her liver from their ultrasound but were unable to give more information. Daphne is such a sweet and docile girl! Because she was a "COVID kitty", she only every truly became socialized to me. She trusts me more than anyone else. She and her sister Suzu have gotten close over the past two years; Suzu even lets Daphne groom her now! I serve as an AmeriCorps member in my community and live on a fixed stipend of ~$1700/month. My rent alone is $820/month. A diagnostic ultrasound costs $500. Daphne is so brave and so young and I want to give her a fighting chance of getting back to her happy, healthy self!

Mira
Mira is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Pensacola, FL, who needs $890 for Surgical Excision.
Pensacola, FL
I got Mira when she was 6 weeks old. She is 10 now and a huge part of my family. She and I, lost our best friend one year ago to cancer. We both mourned. Mira is a wonderful companion and needs medical attention. Mira has been having anal gland issues for the last month and a half. I brought her in and they said it was a swollen anal gland and it drained on its own. Now it had came back and they cut it open and found a mass. Next week she needs to have surgery to remove the mass. No other masses were shown on her body through the ultrasound. If she doesn’t get this mass removed, it could possibly spread. Mirror is a very laid-back old lady. She still plays with her four-year-old friend and my two-year-old grandson like a puppy. She has the most loving behavior and loves to cuddle and sleep next to me at night. For the last 10 years she has. grown up with my kids, which are now adults and we all love her so much. I just lost my dad and my soul dog to cancer both within the last year. I don’t make a lot of money and have very high bills in my paychecks usually go towards all my bills. I paid $490 today to get it cut open and to get her sedated. Next week it is going to cost $890 to get the master removed. I just don’t have that kind of money.

Sadie Anne
Sadie Anne is a 5 year old Labrador Retriever in La Porte, IN, who needs $1,000 for Removal of Growth on Left Leg and Biopsy.
La Porte, IN
Sadie Anne is my lovable, crazy and happy 5-year-old Yellow Labrador. She came into my family when I moved to LaPorte, Indiana and adopted her to be a younger sister for Gracie Rose, who is my nearly 12-year-old labrador. A couple of weeks ago, she had - what appeared to be - a puncture wound on her left rear leg elbow. Too much running with sticks was my first thought. Time for the Vet! After making an appointment and having my veterinarian examine her, her lab work came back inconclusive. Dr. Andrea at Pine Lake Animal Hospital is the best and when she suggested the possibility of a surgical procedure/removal/biopsy to examine this growth, I became concerned, The estimate of $1000 is more than I have to help Sadie Anne. So...what makes Sadie special in my life? She's always happy! She follows me and sleeps with me every night, she 'requires' treats regularly - whether it is a bite of cheese, egg or anything I'm eating.:) She is constantly ready to have me throw a stick and will continue until I say STOP. She is just my big goofball, and I want her to be healthy. Asking for help for anything is not in my DNA. This, however, concerns me. There just are no resources for a surgery to rule out cancer. While waiting to see if the lump looks any better in 1-2 weeks, I'm reaching out for any help I can. She's my 70 lb. big baby love bug.

I’m still paying debt off from 2/4 It’s just me and my cats most of my money goes towards my 3 cats. K. has serious dental disease and other health issues not covered by pet insurance, as pre-existing conditions

Luxa
Luxa is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Ashland, PA, who needs $600 for Emergency Injury Care.
Ashland, PA
She is an abandoned stray cat who showed up at my home wearing a collar that was too tight and frayed. I spent days gaining her trust so I could safely remove it. Since then, she has stayed close and now waits at my door every day for food, safety, and comfort. She is currently limping and often not putting weight on one of her paws. There is no visible wound, which makes me concerned about a possible injury or developing infection. She appears to be in pain and needs a veterinary exam as soon as possible to determine the cause and prevent it from getting worse. She is incredibly gentle and trusting despite what she has been through. After gaining her trust, she now comes to me every day and waits by my door. She chose to stay, and that connection means everything to me. I want to give her the safe, loving home she deserves. I have had reduced hours at work and do not have the full amount needed to cover emergency veterinary care right away. I can contribute some, but I do not have an emergency fund. I am asking for help so she can receive the treatment she urgently needs.

Bebe
Bebe is a 8 year old Munchkin in Mount Airy, NC, who needs $220 for Dental/Oral Surgery to Repair Oronasal Fistula.
Mount Airy, NC
I adopted Bebe from a New Hanover County shelter near Wilmington in 2017 after losing my longtime cat, Ace. She was about 6 weeks old, huddled in the back with huge eyes, and I fell in love instantly. She has short little legs (likely a munchkin mix) and is endlessly determined anyway. She’s an indoor family cat and my daughter’s constant companion. She is an FIP survivor for the last 3 years. Bebe is being treated at Animal Medical Services (Mount Airy, NC) for a reopened oronasal fistula (a small opening between her mouth and sinus from a past dental extraction). You can see the opening in the video I uploaded. Without repair she gets recurrent sinus infections and needs antibiotics to stay well. A single sedated dental/oral procedure should allow evaluation and definitive closure to Bebe is a people-cat. She doesn’t quite understand other cats (she was taken from her litter too early), but she adores her humans. She sleeps under the covers with me every night and starts purring the second she gets a hug. Even at 8, she’ll chase her tail and chew my office chair—short legs and all, she’s endlessly determined. My husband suffered a serious workplace injury 10 months ago and is still awaiting workers’ comp/lost wages, leaving our family with no emergency fund. We’ve managed with help from loved ones, but we can’t cover this surgery. Bebe is our best friend.

Goosey
Goosey is a 2 year old Russian White, Black and Tabby in Kenmore, NY, who needs $1,102 for Nasopharyngeal Polyp Mass Pharynx Removal.
Kenmore, NY
Goose was found in the basement of an Airbnb in 2024 with his siblings and momma. He was the feisty one climbing out of the box that my son Finn fell in love with. He’s been mischievous ever since! We had trouble not bringing the whole litter home with us. Finn loves to carry Goosey around and show him things like the tall windows and cabinets. When he was quite tiny, we carried him in a pocket! Gooser has a chronic ear infection caused by a nasopharyngeal polyp that requires anesthesia and an endoscope. He’s scheduled to be seen again on March 31st at VCA Animal Hospital on Sheridan Blvd. Goose is vital for my son's and my mental wellbeing. He meets us at the door when we enter or exit. He sleeps at the foot of my bed curled in a little ball. He will lay on my chest and purr contentedly. We found him as a tiny little spunk and have grown up with him for nearly 2 years now. He has this fun trick of fetching hair ties and if you stop playing, he will paw at you till you notice. Goose means the world to Finn and me. During my time of underemployment and unemployment I got behind a bit. This gift will alleviate so much worry and stress and I will be forever grateful.

Shock
Shock is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Wichita, KS, who needs $350 for Urethral Catheterization.
Wichita, KS
At only 3 weeks old Shock came to us with his siblings and mom after being left in a crate in front of the HQ building for the rescue I worked for. We took the whole family in as a foster family and ended up falling in love with him, so naturally he joined our family of 6 at the time. He’s been the sweetest, most loving cat, and we really don’t know what we’d do without him. Shock has gone through it, recently he was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, pemphigus Complex, which is an umbrella term for a group of diseases that cause his body to attack the top layer of his skin. Shortly after we got that under control Shock started showing signs of a urinary blockage. We rushed him to the vet where he spent the next 5 days being in the hospital. Shock is the most loving well rounded kitty I’ve ever met. He hasn’t met a soul, human or animal, that he hasn’t become friends with. The vet staff hes met love him, and so does anyone else who has the pleasure of meeting this little guy. He loves to play, he loves to soak in the sun, and especially he loves his cat trees. 5 days in the hospital, one being an overnight at an emergency clinic, adds up. The total bill equals almost $1000, which is a huge unexpected expense, especially after having to spend so much to get the autoimmune disease diagnosed and treated. Any help would be appreciated

Cindy
Cindy is a 12 year old Mix-Breed in Fillmore, CA, who needs $1,370 for Extensive Dental Procedure.
Fillmore, CA
My little Cindy was adopted 10 years ago from Best Friends Animal Society. She is a feisty little chihuahua terrier mix. She loves taking walks, pup cups, snuggles, and her little squeaky toys. She turned 12 in July but I still remember her as the little 2 year old I adopted. Her little face has turned white with age and most of her days are spent sleeping but to me she is my baby. Today Cindy was diagnosed with a heart murmur. Out of 6 she is a 5, which is very serious. Chihuahuas are prone to dental issues and Cindy has dental problems which may have been the cause of her heart murmur. Dr. Anderson of the Fillmore Animal Hospital in Fillmore Ca. suggest that she gets her teeth removed to prevent the murmur from getting worse. Cindy’s best friend is my husband Peter. Every time he comes home she gets so excited, she runs to him and does her little dance waiting for her little pats. She can be grumpy with other dogs but is kind to her cat siblings. Even though she is tiny she is a mighty protector as long as fireworks aren’t going off, she hates those. She is a huge part of our family and we love her so much. While my husband and I both have full time jobs money is tight with bills, college expenses, and a mortgage. We are not at a place right now to be able to afford a large expense suddenly. The procedure needs to be done as soon as possible so saving for it is not possible.

Milkshake
Milkshake is a 3 year old Norwegian Forest Cat in Springfield , PA, who needs $1,200 for Hospitalization - ICU Care.
Springfield, PA
Milkshake is a sweet 3 year old norwegian forest cat who is the heart of our little family. We adopted him when he was 16 weeks old, and he's been our little everything ever since. My 8 and 11 year old boys adore him. He's their best friend and their comfort. Milkshake is the sweetest, loving most patient boy. He is honorable, and full of personality. We can't imagine life without him. Yesterday, Milkshake nearly died from another urinary blockage, his third in less than a year. He suffers from feline lower urinary tract disease and feline idiopathic cystitis. These conditions cause painful inflammation and cause crystals to form in his bladder. These crystals form urethra blocks in male cats. He's been on prescription urinary food since his first block in May. We give him bottled water and make sure he is stress free. Despite this, the crystals returned and he blocked again. This past weekend we had a snowstorm in Pennsylvania. I noticed he wasn't feeling well. He was straining in the litter box, and crying. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get him into the vet with the storm. Luckily, I was able to get him BluePearl ER with the help of a few very generous souls, but arrived to find a "closed until 8 PM sign" on the door. During the drive there, he felt cold, his breathing was shallow, I thought I was losing him. I sat outside despite the closed sign. Thankfully, a kind employee saw us and let us in. They took him back right away. Forty five minutes later, the vet told me he'd been unblocked, but he was in critical condition. His potassium level was an 8, elevated kidney values, and his heart rate was drastically slowing. The doctor acted fast and saved his life. I am beyond grateful. But now he needs continued hospitalization, about 4 days on IV fluids and a catheter to flush his system, monitor his vitals, and prevent another block. His bladder was full of crystals, and without this extended care, he'll block again soon. Milkshake needs perineal urethrostomy surgery to widen his urethra and prevent future blockages. This is a common procedure for male cats with FLUTD. Right now, this hospital stay is very much needed, but the costs are too high for me to manage alone. We've already faced multiple ER visits hospitalizations, and treatments since his first block in May 2025 in Florida. He was diagnosed at VEG in Boynton Beach, and thru the kindness of a compassionate doctor there, he was able to get milkshake transferred to Peggy Adams in West Palm Beach for 5 days of care. We've done everything right with diet and love, but this condition is ongoing until he gets the surgery he needs. My boys would be heartbroken losing milkshake. Milkshake is a fighter, only 3 years old, and he deserves more time here. All donations go directly to BluePearl for his care. Every bit helps cover the IV, catheter, monitoring, meds, and hospital stay. If we can get him through this episode and toward surgery, he might live a full life. Please, if you can help milkshake, share our story. Your kindness could give us many more years with our beautiful boy. Thank you for reading.

Ginger Pear
Ginger Pear is a 14 year old American Shorthair in Coram, NY, who needs $1,000 for Echocardiogram, Medications & Prescription Food.
Coram, NY
My beloved soulcat Ginger Pear has been diagnosed with heart disease. We don’t yet know which part of her heart is not functioning correctly. But I know that mine is broken. GP & I have been together since I first moved to the NoFo over 10 years ago. A former stray from the mean streets of Mattituck, she has supported me through Lyme disease, the pandemic & my mother’s untimely passing from Covid. Her diagnostics, including x-rays & blood work, have cost over $1,500 (the echocardiogram she had today cost $1,000). She will require compound medications on an ongoing basis. Due to her advanced age, she has also suffered from gastrointestinal problem over the past 2-3 years, treatment for which has cost thousands of dollars. She is being treated by Dr. Zangara at Roosevelt Animal Hospital. All of my life I’ve had cats (and one GSD named Great the Great) and i can honestly say that Ginger Pear is my soulcat. Although she has some ginger fur, she is named after the flavour of youghurt I fed her when I was walking home from the grocery store in Mattituck & saw her hiding under a neighbour’s car. She was too scared to let me pet her. Fast forward a decade & we now share the same pillow. As you may know, I am farmer with a seasonal income. I also suffered from severe neuro & cardiac Lyme disease for 8 years & was so sick I was unable to control my limbs or complete sentences, let alone work. Importantly, LD treatment is not covered by insurance. Do the math.

Lucky
Lucky is a 5 year old American Longhair in Plymouth, MN, who needs $1,000 for Deobstipation.
Plymouth, MN
Lucky came into my life when I was consumed by grief. Little did I know, he would soon heal me in ways I could not imagine. I came across a sweet advertisement for a kitten who was very loving and cuddly. His pictures were mostly of him intertwined with his twin brother bear. Nose to nose. I immediately put in an application for him without hesitations. Just instinct. Lucky has presented with constipation since he was 2 years old. After his first hospitalization revealing that he had no symptoms that could explain why he was unable to use the bathroom but after the switch to prescription fiber filled food and the occasional laxative, he would manage his symptoms. During October of 2025, Lucky started showing signs of constipation. Lucky loves to love. Although anxious to strangers, to his favorite beings, he is always there loving you. Lucky is one of the rarest kinds of cats that you come across that can make you feel so special and important. Just by how he looks at you with big yellow eyes that are full of admiration and affection. He is not just a cat but a healer. To his bonded brother, he is everything. With my grandmother needing financial help with medication after my father’s passing, I jumped right in as anyone would. As the eldest sister, providing help to my grandmother and sister. My younger sister is a single mother. Now I am needing to help my sweet cat.

Rex
Rex is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Coventry , CT, who needs $2,000 for Soft Tissue Surgery, Anesthesia, and Radiograph.
Coventry, CT
Rex is our 7 year old cat who we received as a kitten at just 8 weeks old. He is an orange and white fluffy handsome fellow living in our family farm house. Rex has a tumor that is excreting fluid on the back of his head/neck area and could be cancer. The vet says it needs to be removed as soon as possible. He also has canine teeth that need to be removed due to a severe infection and possibly 8-10 other teeth:(. Our vet is Fenton River Valley Veterinary Hospital in Tolland, CT. Rex is very lovey and has a close bond with everyone in the family especially my youngest son. He loves to be held, roll around in the sun, and loves playing with our dog. The vet has quoted us between $1500-2500 depending on the amount of teeth that need to be removed. We cannot afford this as we are struggling financially and are in desperate need to save our beloved cat Rex. We are doing everything we can to scrounge up enough to save Rex
