We lost my kids dad during Harvey. He was on dialysis and didn’t make it through the struggle. My friends said a dog would be good for them. 4 kids sitting at home with no hope wasn’t good for any of us. This dog is not just a dog anymore. He is family. He is my son. They told me if I can’t afford this surgery to put him down. I may die first. I desperately need this down payment. Please help us!! This guy is no pet. He is very smart. He doesn’t want to go to the back yard so he waits for me to take him on a walk in the front. Raising 4 kids alone (with bills that I can’t afford like $2400 rent) has me working 117 hours in a pay period with two boys in football and practice. So basically I don’t ever use a leash and he never leaves me. Don’t let me make him. He wants to come home!! Help!! Toby is the best thing in life. He knows how to sit, shake hands, sit pretty, stand, lay down, roll over and even crawl in case of a fire. He is such a sweet boy. Every night he waits for me to take him in the front yard so he can run and be free because the back is so small. He never had a BM in the yard. He never runs away … please don’t leave him in the dark now. He just wants to come home:,( He jumped off the truck on the way to Galveston. So happy and free he broke his tibula and fibula bones. There are very fewVets who will do this surgery. I have called so many.:( They say if I can’t provid this special surgery I need to put him down. I can’t. My kids already lost their dad. I can’t let them lose their brother.:,( I lost my job. The lights were just cut off and I got pay as you go lights for now. I’ll do anything for him. Put me to work or help us anything will help. I’m sorry in advance. 😭 He is more then my best friend and if you take the time to meet him you will see the same!!

Jacqueline's scheduled euthanasia date was set for September 28th. This is the day Hurricane Ian hit and we knew immediately we had to save her. She is in our care at The Pittie Party of Central Florida sanctuary and is safe thanks to our supporters. Now we need your help to get her healthy again! This sweet senior is around 11-13 years. Our vet is impressed how spunky and active she is for her age. She love to play with one of the other rescue dogs, Pluto. LOVES treats and rubs. We also found out she also loves to swim which can be seen in our livestream! We had her in her own area for several days and quickly discovered that she requires a dog companion in order to thrive. Jacqueline continually urinated all over her area and on her bed. We initially thought she may have incontinence. After she had time to decompress, we started introducing her to some of our dogs. She has bonded pretty strongly with one of our sanctuary dogs, Pluto. They are inseparable and love to roughhouse together. It appears that Pluto wants to adopt her and we approve! Then at her initial vet appointment, the medical team discovered several mammary tumors that need to be surgically removed. One is exceptionally large, painful and heavy. We don’t know how much these tumors are affecting Jacqueline’s well being, but we do know she needs surgery as soon as possible. Jacqueline has a lot of life left in her and has already won the hearts of many. We are a foster based dog rescue which focuses on saving dogs on the euthanasia list--no way could we say no to that sweet face and we aren't going to now. Christmas
Christmas is a 4-year-old Husky in Port Huron, MI, who needs $475 for Wellness Exam, Bloodwork, and Spay.

Christmas came to us as a stray, wandering the streets of Port Huron. When we found her she was starving, skinny, in heat and covered with fleas. We posted her on every social media platform possible and called local humane society’s and had her checked for a chip since her collar didn’t have a tag. Nobody has came forward for her, and as great of a girl as she is, we don’t know why. Christmas loves it with us! She’s been on a couple adventures with us already. She loves all her new furry siblings and takes a special liking to Elliott, her human brother. She loves to sleep in the recliner and at night she really loves to hog the bed 😂. She’s all around a perfect dog, quiet, calm and well mannered. We don’t know much about her personality yet as ours just starting to show. She doesn’t howl like most husky’s do but she is quite the “pawsy” lady. When she meets new puppy friends she jumps on them and boops them with her front paws. Christmas loves being outside so much that she will just sit there and watch the cars go by. Christmas seems pretty healthy overall aside from her weight. We’re working on putting some meat on her. In the meantime we would love to have her checked overall. We don’t know any history on her, including her age. She needs blood work and other things just to check for anything that could be going on. We would also like to have her spayed asap. I’ve been out of work a lot lately and it caused us to fall a bit behind and leaving us with just enough and not enough to pay a huge lump sum. We can provide the loving home and her future care, just don’t have the initial visit funds at the moment.
Lucy
Lucy is a 6-year-old Terrier mix in Dallas, TX, who needs $1,500 for urgent surgery.

It was hard to tell Lucy was a dog when she was found as a stray. She was disfigured by matted hair sloughing off from a skin infection. The person who discovered Lucy raced her to an animal hospital that contacted Pooch Savers Rescue. The list of Lucy's ailments was long, and the rescue said they'd be her much-needed immediate lifeline! "All you could do was shake your head," Scott B., with the nonprofit group, tells Waggle. "This dog has been roaming and foraging for months, if not years! We will not let her down." The rescue now needs a financial lifeline to pay for all the medical care Lucy requires. She is nearly blind in one eye due to trauma. She has a large mass that needs to be removed. She has a heart murmur and requires treatment for her disfiguring skin infection. While others may look at Lucy in horror, Pooch Savers sees a diamond in the rough. With your help, they predict we should all stay tuned to see her transformation! MAX
MAX is a 3-year-old Shepard Mix in Bedford, TX, who needs $785 for Dental Prophylaxis.

I rescued Max from a couple who lived in a 3rd story apt. He was 5 months old when i got him. He has been with us 3 ¹/2 year. He is named after my brother who passed away in 2018. We have 2 other dogs, Boyka 7 years old and Choxie 5 years old we, also have 4 cats. Dallas 14 yo, Batman and Bubbles 12 y o and Monster Kitty( aka Heetheen). Max has a big family now and room to run. He is such a good dog Max has a big dog bed and sometimes he sleeps on it but most of the time he is on the couch stretched completely out. Then there are times he sleeps in Choxies bed she is, a chihuahua yep his hind end is in the bed and the rest of him is o the floor. He is very vocal. I wish i knew what he washing saying sometimes. He loves to go outside lay in the sun and likes to play chase with us. He is so happy Max loves the kitty cats except bubbles he turns around when he sees her. He is afraid of the vacuum cleaner and the broom and mop. Although he is much better than in the beginning. He is a talker. Not just wanting to go outside but to play or let me know Bubbles is close by him. He tells me about the squirrels too. He is a super sweet dog. He is very smart. He makesvme laugh when he eats peanut butterz Max has a slab fracture tooth. He needs surgery to remove the broken tooth which should make the swelling in his eye go down. That poor dog has been dealing with this since July. He is definitely a trooper. It has gotten worse as time goes on. He paws at it now. I have to put a cone on him. I had to have surgery on my neck and shoulder. I was denied short term disability thru my employer so, I had no income. I appealed and lost. I have sold things, and made things to sell just to make ends meet which is extremely tough.
MuMu
MuMu is a 11-year-old Russian Blue Cat in Carmel, IN, who needs $1,800 for I-131 Radioiodine Treatment.

Our sweet MuMu was a rescue from a 90+ year old woman's estate when she passed away. She was a lap cat/companion for her. We received her when she was approximately 5 years old. MuMu had never been around children before, and it took some getting used to her new home environment which included myself and two children, then age 2 and 13. She came out of her shell and became the perfect pet. MuMu has been a very loving family member. She has comforted us during our trials and tribulations in life, during our sicknesses and surgeries and sad life moments. She has never waivered in her enduring love for us. She loves to sit outside the bathroom when my son showers, to meow at him when he comes out. She fills a missing void in our lives after losing my oldest son last year. MuMu loves to stay up late at night with me while I work from home on the overnight shift. She is often found at my feet, or on my desk as shown in the picture. She takes turns sleeping in both kids' beds, and is always on my bed first thing when I wake up every morning, waiting for her breakfast and to be the first downstairs. She first became sick in April. She had very high liver enzymes and was treated with antibiotics/steroids. Liver enzymes went up and down over the course of several months with an ultrasound not showing anything significant to cause the fluctuations. In August, Mumu took a drastic turn for the worse and stopped eating, ultimately testing positive for hyperthyroid, the driving cause of her symptoms Treatment to date has ran over $3500. She will be required to stay on meds every 12 hours for the rest of her life. Hyperthyroidism causes a shorter lifespan + cost to continuously monitor blood thyroid levels. Radioiodine treatment will cure her and give her her life back.
Sunny
Sunny is a 5-year-old Goldendoodle in Bristol, CT, who needs $2,000 for ACVS R Forelimb Amputation.

Sunny came to live with us about two years ago and we are his second home. Sunny had a bit if a rough start in life. He became very sick as a puppy, but with lots of love and great medical care he survived and thrived into adulthood. He has been very healthy until his recent diagnosis of a cancerous leg tumor. Sunny lives with another dog and two cats. He is by far the biggest animal in the house, but the most gentle. He loves attention from people, excitedly greeting everyone when they arrive home and always jumping in bed for a very close cuddle. He loves to give big wet kisses to any and everyone he meets. Sunny is the sweetest, and goofiest dog I have ever met. He is very vocal, making lots of noises when he wants your attention. He is always by my side, following me everywhere we go. His favorite thing in the world is going for a walk. As soon as he sees me putting on shoes and grabbing some "poop bags", he starts to jump around the room and circles my legs until I clip his leash on. Sunny has been under the wonderful care of Pieper Veterinary. I first brought him in to look at a growth on his front right leg. The vet took a sample of his tumor and I was told it was a mast cell tumor with abnormal cells. After x-rays, an ultrasound, and bloodwork showed no spreading, surgery was the next step. The size of the tumor left amputation as the best option. The surgery is expensive, but necessary to keep him healthy for years to come. This was unexpected and I am unable to pay the full amount myself. That is why I am humbly reaching out to my friends and family for help and support.
Nicco
Nicco is a 6-year-old German Shepherd in Hagerstown , MD, who needs $2,000 for Cancerous Mass Removal Surgery.

Nicco came into my life in July 2016 when he was 8 weeks old, after my golden retriever passed away from cancer that June. He is now 6 years old, and has two older cat ‘siblings’, Cali, and Gizmo. My oldest son picked out Nicco’s name, because he wanted it to be German since he is a german shepherd. Nicco Kaiser is the name that stuck. He was so smart, and easy to train. He learned the trick, 'give me your paw' in two hours. 'Roll over' took a little more time, and eventually was called, 'show me your tum tum'. Everytime I come home, and walk through the door Nicco will walk in a circle two times then he immediately lays down on the floor with all four legs up in the air waiting on his "tum tum rubbins". He loves to play in the snow catching snowballs thrown to him. He also likes using his face as a snow shovel. His absolute favorite toy is his tire toy. If he goes out to pee, and gets on the porch realizing he forgot his tire toy, he will do a u-turn, and come back inside looking for it then emerging with it, and will go pee with it in his mouth. He LOVES to catch bubbles! Nicco was misdiagnosed in November 2021 by an incompetent vet. I switched to a different vet that was recommended by friends. Dr. Katelyn Mumma from North Paws Animal Hospital did a thorough exam, and aspirated one of the two lumps on his right hind quarter. It was discovered that he has cancer. He also has a firm anal gland that may be cancer also. I have had the worst 3 months of my life. My mom passed away, 8 days later my husband, the soul income provider abandoned our family, now Nicco has cancer. I'm getting very little money from my husband. He won't pay for Nicco's surgery either. Please help me save my dog.
Bean

Bean’s name fits him well. The runt of the litter, he’s small and scrappy—and he loves as hard as he survives. He and his brother entered our lives after we saw photos of them at 3 months old on our local community FB page. My partner, Pete, and I fell in love. They’ve been with us ever since—for a year and 4 months. They're urban indoor kitties who dream of a yard full of bugs and birdies. Bean is a lover with a soft warble that turns a bit yowly at mealtime. He usually snarfs his food quickly and then goes for his brother’s, as Neko eats his food at a normal pace. But Neko’s so laid back that he doesn’t seem to mind. Bean’s favorite game ever is the teaser toy—a.k.a., The Bird. He gets SERIOUS AIR. He is SUPER KITTY. At night, his sleeping spot is right between mom and dad. By day, Bean's been known to sleep or creep around under our bed, which is cavernous and inter-dimensional. We hear strange noises at times (which means he’s probably shredding important documents. He and his brother are feline versions of Inspector Clouseau and Cato from the old Pink Panther movies. One minute, playfighting the apartment into shambles; the next, snuggling and bathing each other. When Bean began vomiting and didn’t stop, Pete took him to the ER. But he continued to get worse. Our vet gave him anti-nausea medication and intravenous fluids for 4 days until a 2nd X-ray showed an obstruction in his intestine that needed to be removed that night or he wouldn't make it. Dr. P & Dr. Jones stayed late to do his surgery on a Friday night, even knowing we couldn't pay. We're a hairstylist and preschool teacher hit hard by the pandemic. This came at a time when neither of us makes much more than minimum wage—not nearly enough, let alone any extra. Our incredible vet worked out a payment plan, but we're already stretched razor-thin.
