I reused Blue from a bad situation when she was about 8 month old. She was scared of everything and it took a lot of time and care to gain her trust and get her to realize how brave and confident she is! She's now a brave, curious and loving girl who loves sunbathing, playing and talking smack to me when she doesn't get her way. She's my ESA and has loved me no mater what my limitations are Blue has recently gone into heart failure that is currently being treated with meds. Her cardio vet needs to see her for another appointment and has told me that once she is stable will need surgery to fix her heart so she won't go into heart failure again. I was told that if we decided not to do the surgery and only treat with mends she would go into heart failure again and wouldn't survive Blue has always been my joy. She not only is my ESA but also my baby. There isn't a day that goes by where she doesn't make me laugh at her silliness. She love kids and she hasn't met an animal she never liked! She even helped me raise baby chicks before. She loves to explore with me and if it wasn't for her I would forget to leave the house. And daily sunbathing is a must for her! I'm disabled and have no way of work. She was diagnosed with a grade 4 heart murmur that suddenly turned into heart failure. I've maxed out my care credit and 3 other credit cards and still can't afford treatment. She is my heart and soul and I will do anything I can for her

Little bit is 6 years old she's completely blind and missing one eye She was born here in the garage by two mother cats I'm not sure which one was her mother but they left her here and I took her in and got her fixed She has the full run of the house she's an excellent navigator she mapped out the whole house you would never know she was blind unless you moved something which I never do Little bit was experiencing weakness Thursday which led to her falling and I borrowed the money for my brother to take her to the hospital at all tails vet in johnson city to see what was wrong with her and they did blood work and they said that she had a dental infection in three infected teeth and severe periodontal disease and the infection was in her blood. She stopped eating her mouth hurts. Well little bit has Furby who's 3 he's a male cat He looks like a cleaned up version of church on pet sematary and pickles she's a black and white tuxedo and she enjoys playing with them but she's kind of slowed down and she's not really moving around much now and they miss playing with her they're both three years old and little bit is 6 years old. If she could get the surgery she could play. I took care of my mom and dad until they passed away and my credits no good about the time I pay the bills I don't have anything left that's why I borrowed the money to take little bit to the vet for my brother and I've got to pay him back and I just don't have anything

Help Three Community Cats in Egypt Get the Chance for a Healthier Future

Every cat deserves the chance to live a healthy and safe life. Paws & Claws Animal Welfare is seeking support for the TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, and Return) of three community cats in Egypt—two males and one female who are living on the streets and facing the daily challenges of life without consistent care. For community cats, TNVR is one of the most effective and compassionate ways to improve their quality of life while helping reduce the number of homeless animals born into difficult conditions. Through this program, each cat will be humanely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and returned to the area they call home. The female cat's spay surgery will prevent countless future litters, helping break the cycle of homelessness and suffering. The two male cats will also be neutered, reducing territorial fighting, roaming, and the risk of injuries. Vaccinations will provide important protection against preventable diseases and help keep these cats healthier in the future. While the cost of caring for just three cats may seem small, these veterinary expenses add up quickly for rescue organizations already stretched thin helping animals in need. Your donation will directly support the veterinary care required to complete this TNVR project and make a lasting impact on the lives of these cats and the community around them. In addition to their surgeries, all three cats received essential vaccinations that will help protect them from preventable diseases and improve their overall quality of life. She had hours left. Her name was already on the euthanasia list at the San Antonio shelter. A young dog—just 3 to 4 years old—with her whole life still ahead of her. But because of a concerning mass and no one stepping forward, her time was running out. Thankfully, CAMO rescue couldn’t look away. Now she’s safe. And the first thing they noticed? She is unbelievably sweet. Gentle eyes. Soft tail wags. The kind of dog who leans into you like she’s known you forever. It’s hard to imagine how close she came to never getting this second chance. But her fight isn’t over. CAMO is urgently working to have the mass evaluated and tested. They are hoping the mass isn't cancerous. The diagnostics, exams, and possible surgery are already adding up, and they need help to cover her medical care. She is so young. She is still receiving chemo, but we are grateful that it's really helping with the swelling. We are hopeful she will make a full recovery.

Help Nana Survive After a Brutal Attack

Meet Nana, a gentle senior dog whose life changed forever in a single horrifying night. Nana has been cared for by a local shelter ever since they moved into their new location. She is an older stray dog who had finally found a place where she could feel safe. But yesterday morning, shelter workers heard heartbreaking cries coming from outside — screams of pain no animal should ever have to endure. When rescuers rushed to her, they were horrified by what they found. A neighborhood security guard later shared that around 4 a.m., he heard the sound of a dog being violently beaten and screaming in agony. When he went outside to investigate, he saw two people running away carrying a large stick. The shelter reviewed their outdoor security footage, but sadly the attack happened too far from the cameras to clearly identify the people responsible. Nana was immediately brought inside the shelter and given emergency first aid while rescuers desperately searched for transportation to get her to the veterinary hospital as quickly as possible. After extensive examinations, blood tests, and X-rays, veterinarians discovered the full extent of the damage inflicted on this sweet elderly dog. Nana is believed to be around 10 years old, and she has already lost all of her teeth from age and hardship. The brutal beating left her with a fractured pelvis, severe wounds across her body, and a large swollen mass on her face. But the injuries did not stop there. The trauma caused a serious hernia that forced her colon and bladder to protrude through the damaged area. The attack also tore the muscles responsible for helping her urinate and defecate, leaving her unable to relieve herself normally. Veterinarians had to immediately place a catheter to empty her bladder and stabilize her condition. Now Nana urgently needs major emergency surgery to return her organs to their proper place, repair the hernia, and reconstruct the torn muscles so she can urinate and defecate again. Because of Nana’s age, the surgery is extremely risky — but without it, she will not survive. Although her pelvic fracture thankfully does not require surgery, Nana will need strict cage rest and long-term confinement to allow her body to heal properly after everything she has endured. Despite unimaginable pain and cruelty, Nana continues to fight. She deserved compassion and protection, but instead she suffered horrific violence at the hands of people who should have known better. Now this sweet senior girl needs all of us to show her that kindness still exists. Because Nana is older, severely malnourished, and came into surgery in such fragile condition, her healing process is expected to be slow — but she is already showing everyone just how strong she truly is. Right now, she is resting comfortably, receiving pain management, supportive care, and strict confinement so her body can continue to heal safely. While Nana still has a long journey ahead of her, this surgery gave her the chance she desperately needed. As Nana continues recovering, donations are still deeply appreciated to help cover her ongoing hospitalization, medications, follow-up care, nutritional support, and long-term recovery needs. While she still has a long road ahead, we are encouraged by the progress she is making each day. Because of the extensive trauma to her body and the major surgery she underwent, Nana is still very weak and currently needs assistance to urinate and defecate. Her caregivers are helping her with these basic functions while closely monitoring her recovery and providing the supportive care she needs. One thing Nana has not lost is her appetite. Despite everything she has endured, she is eating well and maintaining a healthy interest in food, which is an encouraging sign as her body works to heal. Every meal she finishes helps give her strength for the challenges that still lie ahead. Recovery for a senior dog with injuries this severe is never quick, but Nana continues to show quiet determination every day. She is resting, healing, and receiving the compassionate care she deserves after experiencing such unimaginable cruelty. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported Nana so far. Fancy’s Fight to Heal

Meet Fancy. She should have been safe. She should have been protected. Instead, Fancy was found lying in the middle of the road after being hit by a car. She refused to leave her two babies who had already passed. She was still tied to them, with a piece of a gate dragging behind her, as if she had tried desperately to move them to safety. When Fancy arrived at the rescue, it was immediately clear she had endured severe, long-term abuse and neglect. Our vet believes that along with the long-term abuse that Fancy was used as a bait dog. All of her legs appear to have been broken at some point and never treated, leaving permanent deformities, along with many scars, swollen joints, severe emaciation, and a very heavy heartworm infection. Despite all of this, she still walks, plays, and greets everyone with a wagging tail. Her treatment plan will include addressing her joints and skin first to prevent further infection. Because heartworm treatment is intense, her care team must first stabilize her body before beginning the heartworm protocol. At the rescue, she earned the nickname \\\_“the kitchen monitor.”\\\_ She would lie peacefully on her dog bed, watching the daily hustle and bustle with quiet curiosity, soaking in the love she was never given before. Even after everything, Fancy still trusts humans. Her heart remains wide open. Fancy’s past is painful, but her future can be bright. With proper medical care, time to heal, and continued love, Fancy will one day be ready for the family she has always deserved. Meet Diya, \_her story is one we wish we never had to tell.\_ She was brutally beaten by a drunk man with a stick - an act of violence witnessed by locals who were left in shock. The attack was so severe that her eye was violently forced completely out of its socket. A kind citizen refused to look away and contacted us immediately. We rushed to bring Diya into our care but the trauma she has endured is devastating. She was lying there, trembling, in unbearable pain. One look at her face told us how severe the attack had been. \_It’s something no living being should ever have to endure.\_ Diya is now under our care, receiving pain relief and close monitoring. But this is only the beginning of what she needs. Diya urgently requires surgery to close her eye socket. Without it, she is at high risk of infection, prolonged suffering, and further complications. This procedure \_is not optional, it is necessary\_ to give her even a chance at recovery. We need to raise $1000 to cover the cost of her urgent surgery and medical care. For Diya, this is the difference between ongoing pain and the first real step toward healing. If donating isn’t possible right now, you can still make a difference by sharing Diya’s story.
