Lola
Lola is a 12-year-old Chihuahua in Venice, FL, who needs $1,000 for medical treatment.

Lola is 3.5 pound, 10-12-year-old Chihuahua who was found on the streets of Miami. This tiny girl was taken to a local shelter. After spending 7 long days there, her owner never claimed her, and that’s when True and Faithful Pet Rescue stepped in to get her the medical care she needed, as it was clear that she was very sick. Her rescuer, Lisa L., took her to the veterinarian, where it was determined that she had severe pneumonia. Poor little Lola is also heartworm positive, but she can’t be started on a course of treatment until her pneumonia improves and she’s cleared by doctors. Lisa describes Lola as “very sweet,” “teeny-tiny,” and “in need of a second chance at a loving home.” True and Faithful Pet Rescue is seeking donations from donors to help cover the cost of Lola’s medical treatment. With contributions from generous individuals like yourself, this wonderful organization can continue to rescue animals in need and get them the medical care they deserve.
Zuzu
Zuzu is a six-year-old Miniature Pinscher in Moreno Valley, CA, who needs $1,200 for tumor removal surgery.

Zuzu needs help immediately! She has a massive tumor on her leg, and she can barely walk. Shawna H. found Zuzu living on the street. She took her in and nursed her back to health. "She was very scared and malnourished," Shawna tells Waggle. "We tried to find her original owners, but we had no luck. So she soon became a great, happy dog and got along so well with my Rottie, and now she's the boss on the house." Recently, the tumor started increasing in size on Zuzu's leg. Shawna immediately brought her to Sunnymead Veterinary Clinic. "This ball starting growing on her leg, and it's been getting bigger and bigger," Shawna says. "The doctor said she still has a lot of life left, but unfortunately, the bill is high, and I just don't know what to do." Shawna uploaded a Waggle campaign because she can't afford Zuzu's surgery to remove the tumor. "Due to Covid, I've been out of work, and my income is barely enough to cover my rent and bills," she says. "So I'm in a bad place when it comes to helping Zuzu out." Zuzu is suffering right now mentally and physically, and it breaks Shawna's heart. "She loves the beach and dog park and sleeps in my bed. She loves kids and is very playful. But ever since this tumor has come, it weighs her down a lot, which is so sad! But she has a lot of fight, and she still tries to make the best of it." Please give to help Zuzu!
Prada
Prada is a four-year-old German Shepard in Manito, IL, who needs $778 to treat an ear infection and skin rash.

Jennifer G. really needs some assistance! The bad news keeps piling on. She is a single mother of two children, she lost her job due to COVID, and she is battling cancer. Then, when things could not get worse, they did. Her service dog, Prada, developed a terrible ear infection and skin rash. "I can’t afford to get Prada the help she needs, and I can’t lose her. She’s miserable, and I feel horrible. She is part of our family. I have no one to help me whatsoever," Jennifer tells Waggle. Prada is a massive part of Jennifer's life. "She’s my companion and my childrens' companion," she says. "Every doctors' appointment I go to, she’s there. Through all my cancer treatments and surgeries, she’s right there with me. She goes everywhere we go. We love her so much. Now she’s in so much pain, and we need to help her." The staff at Greenhaven Animal Clinic is ready to give Prada the treatment she needs; Jennifer needs to raise the money to pay her veterinary bill. Sadly, Jennifer's life has been an uphill fight lately. "I’ve been battling stage three cancer of the thyroid, lymphoma, ovarian cancer, and breast cancer," she says. "I have a scheduled surgery on September 17, and I really need some help to get Prada better because she should not be the one that’s in pain; it should be me, and she’s been my support." Prada has been a lifesaver for Jennifer. "She’s perfect with our family," Jennifer says. "She sleeps with me. When I’m sick, she’s right there. She loves to be outside. She loves to be everywhere we go. She loves to go swimming in the river. She loves to go fishing. She loves her tennis ball. She loves blankets and perfumes." Please help Prada and Jennifer!
Rosie
Rosie is a 7-year-old small mix in Lakebay, WA, who needs $1,850 for testing and tail amputation.

Rosie had a bad background. She was found in a 15 foot hoarder's trailer full of living and nonliving dogs. She had also been abused at that time. Smidget Rescue is a very small rescue here in Washington that rescued her from a kill shelter a few days before she would have been put down and so my friend was fostering her. She was very underweight and very scared. Rosie and I took to each other quickly. Rosie is now my spoiled girl, she is now the perfect weight and is still learning to trust new people. She is a completely different dog. I got her as an emotional support animal and she has been the best thing in my life. Once she warms up to someone and accepts them you will have her attached to you hip. She loves to see what you are doing at all times. Rosie is a hoot, she loves to play both with me and by herself, especially with her squeaky toys, loves to play fetch but only inside, LOVES her bully sticks! Rosie is the biggest and best cuddlier you could ask for! We recently found out that Rosie has a Mast cell tumor on her tail. We go to Banfield Vet but have been referred to an oncologist for more treatment and testing to make sure it is only on her tail and has not spread. Rosie will have to have a tail amputation at the least. We are unsure at this time if or what else will be needed. I am disabled, waiting for SSDI, I have state disability but that is only a couple hundred a month. Rosie is my best friend and I don't know what I would do without her.
Pancho Villa
Pancho Villa is a 5-year-old Rottweiler in Dearborn, MI, who needs $1,900 for TPLO surgery.

Pancho came to us from a cousin, when we visited, and Pancho was only about 3-4 weeks old, he chose us, he crawled up to my son and laid in his lap for a long time. We brought him home when he was about six or seven weeks old. He right away became a huge part of our family! Even my dad took to him quickly. Now he is a momma's boy, but is very, very protective of the kids. Pancho was NOT suppose to sleep on the couch, but that is usually where he sleeps at night until right before the kids get up for school, then he waits for them outside their doors. He will at times sleep in dad's room too. He loves us all in his own way! He loves to play fetch with his soccer ball and is not a fan of UPS, FedEx, Mail people. Pancho is special to us in so many ways. He is loving, gentle when need to be, exciting to play with and protective of us all. He always makes us laugh as he acts like a big cat and chases around the cats laser, we even take him outside with a flashlight at night and he would run around the yard chasing the light. Last year, almost a year to the date, Pancho tore his CCL (Cranial Cruciate Ligament), he had surgery on his left leg and has been doing great until, the other day, October 27, 2021. He took off after a squirrel in the yard, yelped very loud and began limping. He is now unable to put any weight on the leg and limps around, we have to keep him quiet until his TPLO surgery on the right leg. Unfortunately, we had just paid off his last surgery from last year, and do not have a built up emergency fund as of yet for this next surgery! Between Covid and everything else happening in this world, things have been quite up and down. I can't imagine this house w/o Panch
Hope
Hope is a 12-year-old Pit Bull in Simi Valley, CA, who needs $2,000 for mass removal surgery.

Hope was a sad, sick, stray dog who ended up in an animal shelter with a long list of medical issues: She had diabetes, rotten teeth, and was almost entirely blind; on top of that, she was a pit bull – and not likely to be adopted. That's when Southern California Pit Bull Rescue stepped in to save the emaciated dog. "Every single bone in her body was showing, and yet she was just a happy-go-lucky girl!" Mark R., the group's founder, tells Waggle. The rescue paid for surgeries to have her cataracts fixed and a dental procedure to remove some of her terrible teeth. Just when the rescue thought they battled the worst of her medical issues, Hope developed seizures due to her unmanaged diabetes. She spent five days in VCA Westlake Village Animal Hospital fighting for her life. But she pulled through! Then Hope developed tiny masses on her stomach that would rupture continuously. Hope needed four surgeries to have the masses removed. Now she is doing well. "Hope is the most resilient dog I've ever seen," Mark R. says. Southern California Pit Bull Rescue needs your help to pay for Hope's medical bills. The rescue has saved over 90 dogs; a majority also had severe medical needs. With your donations, the group will be able to continue giving the medical care that animals in Southern California so desperately need.

Scout is a 13-year-old Maine Coon in Bradenton , FL, who needs $365 for dental treatment and tooth extraction.

About 14 years ago, my son adopted a beautiful cat, and he let me babysit…at that time I knew I needed to adopt. I contacted a local cat rescue and after meeting many sweeties, I knew that this sweet little orange girl needed to be mine, so that day, we began our journey together. From that first car ride home, we became best buddies. From the time Scout was adopted, my boys and I called her our “puppy kitten”. She was born a feral, in a barn with a litter of brothers, but quickly became the leader of her new family. She runs to the door, when the bell rings, is extremely social and has become very affectionate and loving cat I have ever met. My work experience with the same company for 26 years was amazing, but like many others, lost my job due to COVID. The company restructured, leaving me without employment for the first time in my life. I was so scared, but always count my blessings! Scout has been very healthy with the exception of receiving bad teeth from her gene pool. She’s been through 2 prior surgeries on her gums and teeth. Due to her aging, another is now needed. Since I lost my job of 26 years, a friend suggested to me the Humane Society of Manatee County, and I could not be any more pleased. They are so helpful, caring and so happy to have found them! Scout has never met a box she didn’t like, and when deliveries come, she patiently waits for contents to be emptied so she can jump in. She watches out the window for me to return home and snuggles with me every night. I have an old “high chair” that Scout has adopted as her own, and jumps up to join her family at dinner time.

This sweet boy had a very tough life before I took him in. He had belonged to a neighbor, but they put him out on the street. He was extremely malnourished, and could only eat a very small amount of food at a time. He had been injured defending a stray mama & her kittens, and his left ear was torn at the base so badly he almost lost it. When the weather turned cold I took him in so he wouldn't die. He is extremely affectionate. If it were up to him, he would want me pet him every waking moment. He is one of the most gentle and loving cats I have ever seen. Any time he thinks you are not busy, or sometimes even if you are, he comes up purring as loudly as possible and says 'Pet me please?' We love him so much. He just wants to be with me or my daughter all of the time. If you stop to do something, like even getting a glass of water, he comes up meowing & purring and stands up and puts his front paws on the cabinet next to you to try to get closer to you and ask for pets and love. He is affectionate with everyone. He keeps losing weight even though he is eating well, and has issues now & then with diarrhea. I suspect he may have high thyroid. I had a cat who passed away last year, and he had high thyroid, so I know that it can become a very dangerous condition if left untreated. His vet needs to run blood tests to diagnosed and treat him. The vet is Dr. Dana King at Northside Vet Clinic in Springfield Ohio. I lost my job in Jan. of 2020, and I have been looking for a job ever since. My only source of income was unemployment, which ended on Sept. 6th 2021. Now I have no income. I would appreciate your help so much. To see him well & healthy again would mean the world to me.
Daisy Mae
Daisy Mae is a 13-year-old Beagle in Geneva, OH, who needs $93 for Medication for Congestive Heart Failure.

Thought to be about 13 years old, Daisy Mae was wandering around in the middle of winter near an area full of puppy mills. The local dog warden picked her up, but no one ever inquired about her. It's likely that she was a puppy mill escapee, or was dumped because she was no longer useful to her previous owners. It also looks as if she had whelped a litter of pups in the not so distant past. Little Daisy Mae is settling into the Sanctuary, and is quickly touching the hearts of everyone she meets. This old Beagle models kindness and love and is soaking up love and attention like a sponge. She's one of the sweetest little dogs we've ever cared for and her spirit is an inspiration to us all. Despite all of her health issues, Daisy is always on the go and always ready for an adventure! Daisy Mae loves car rides and she's the perfect little passenger, sitting snugly on her caretaker's lap. She also loves to be in the center of whatever is going on, loves to play with the other little Beagles at the Sanctuary and is quite a character, often fitting her body into the smallest spaces. Her Beagle nose is forever on alert and her facial expressions make us smile. In addition to her other health issues, Daisy developed congestive heart failure and spent some time in the hospital. We knew that her heart was compromised when we took her in. Her back leg swells when her heart is overtaxed and she now takes 6 medications every 12 hours. Dr. Tom Zulandt, of Madison Vet Hospital is overseeing her care. CHF is serious, but Daisy is doing well with treatments. We provide sanctuary and lifetime care for those animals that are unadoptable, and rely on donations to give the animals the best care possible. We've already raised funds to cover Daisy's echo/ultrasound, labs and medications. We need funds to cover her heart medications.
