Shiro
Shiro is a 16-year-old DSH in VALLEY VILLAGE, CA, who needs $2,000 for Radiation Therapy (stereotactic radiation).

Shiro is one of the great loves of our lives. We call him "the best ComicCon Swag, EVER." My sweet boy (and his late brother) came into our lives 16 years ago, during a stay with a friend while attending ComicCon in San Diego. I offered to take Shiro and his brother home with me as fosters to help find them homes, and lucky for me they became foster fails, because we fell madly in love. Shiro and his brother were deeply bonded. When we lost his brother to cancer 5 years ago, I thought we would lose Shiro, too. His heart broken, he stopped eating and lost weight, becoming critically ill. Around the same time we rescued a badly injured 8 month old kitten from a freeway on ramp. Vic recovered from his injuries, and in return bonded to Shiro, thankfully healing his broken heart. I am on a disability and a fixed income, and we have been further impacted by the Covid-19 crisis in LA. Shiro is sick with what I know is a survivable disease, the only problem is finding the funds that for the expensive therapy that could save his life. Shiro was diagnosed with a form of nasal cancer that is very treatable with radiation therapy, and if done in time a good prognosis is possible. His radiation treatment would be performed by Dr Lyons at Veterinary Cancer Group in Culver City, CA. Coincidentally, I have another cat who survived the exact same cancer last year, but it took everything we had, could borrow or sell to save her. Our beloved boy has the most beautiful, long ringed tail, always held straight up in the air, which has earned him the nickname "Happy Tail." We think he resembles a slender, elegant, ultrasoft little lemur. His favorite hobby is walking around with catnip pillows or other soft toys in his mouth, yowling triumphantly, until they've all been collected in one of his beds or in a pile on the couch.
Leo
Leo is a 3-year-old Maine Coon in Fort Worth , TX, who needs $1,600 for Hospital stay and surgery for Urinary blockage.

Leo was a rescue from our neighborhood. He just showed up at a neighbors house and she listed him for adoption after no one claimed him for several months. He fell in love with us and we fell in love with him. He is very people oriented and prefers to always be with some human unlike most cats. Laying right on top of you is his favorite position. He is a huge pet of our life and our Dog Lacie’s life. They are best friends. Leo always thinks Lacie’s food is better and tries to sneak a bite in sometimes. Leo is super smart and knows how to open cabinets and doors. He loves running up and down the stairs to show Lacie how fast he is. Leo is a big cat. He weighs in about 25 pounds so when he jumps off the counter he makes a thud. I am currently unemployed due to COVID. My daughter Sarah and I are just trying to make ends meet right now. We are putting up everything we have in savings to save Leo. Leo is at Creekside Pet Care in Keller, TX. He has a urinary blockage which is a common issue with Maine Coon male cats. He is undergoing surgery and requires a hospital stay to make sure the blockage clears. Dr. Karen Fischer is his vet. She is awesome as are all the vets at Creekside. We drive quite a way because we think they are so special! Leo is the protector of the yard and garden. He keeps squirrels and snakes out of the garden. He has his own patch of cat nip he sometimes shares with the neighborhood cats. The birds and squirrels talk trash about him but he just tells them they are jealous as he admires himself in the garden mirrors.
Shayn
Shayn is a Stray in Flushing , NY, who needs $800 for an eye infection, upper respiratory infection, feline virus & needs to be fixed, vaccinated and de-wormed.

I moved into a new apartment a couple of months ago. Upon seeing the place, the first thing I noticed before even going inside, was a stray female cat that looked to be around 3-4. The landlord then told me she is a stray who she feeds, so she hangs around in the backyard. She also told me that she just gave birth & has 2 new born kittens, one being little Shayn, who is suddenly very sick. After moving into this place, my boyfriend & I took responsibility of feeding them regularly each day. Because of this, they don’t wonder too far from home. It’s been amazing watching the little ones grow. Shayn and the rest of them usually run when trying to be pet, but since he has not been feeling well, he has let me hold him. He is such a sweetheart and deserves so much better. I’m asking for help because due to COVID I’m struggling as it is to make ends meet. I would do absolutely anything for this little guy to recover, but I don’t have the funds. I’m so heartbroken & want to save him. I wouldn’t ask for help if it wasn’t absolutely necessary. My goal was at first to get them all fixed, vaccinated, de-wormed & to be brought back to me. I ordered them an outdoor shelter since the weather is getting cold & the beds I have outside for them aren’t enough. But with Shayn being so sick, I’m doing everything in my power to speed his process along & get him medical attention. It could be a virus or URI & I need to act fast. I knew I was going to become attached to these guys one way or another. I grew especially attached to Shayn. He was fine until last Sunday morning, when he showed up with his eyes so runny they glued shut, along with his nasal airways. I cleaned him up the following day, but he was still breathing heavy, not wanting to move & not eating. He NEEDS help!
Tinkerbell
Tinkerbell is a 8-year-old Boxer in Woodinville, WA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to remove tumors, teeth and overgrown gums.

Tinkerbell's former owner posting her online under "free to a good home" was the worst idea. Luckily Northwest Boxer Rescue spotted the neglected-looking dog's ad and snatched her right up. "We had an emergency intake and went and got her," Kim H., president of the rescue, tells Waggle. "Terrible things are done to dogs who are given away for free. People don't want to admit it, but there are still dog fighting rings. Those of us in rescue see what happens. Our goal is to intervene and make sure those things don't ever happen." Once Tinkerbell gets the care she needs, she will be up for adoption. The nonprofit rescue works hard to save as many as possible and relies on donations to help. All of Tinkerbell's medical conditions are very fixable, and she will make someone a wonderful dog. " The rescue gets veterinary care for all their dogs who need it, and Tinkerbell's vet tab is expected to run thousands of dollars. Kim says she is worth every penny. "She is happy, wiggly, and learning how to be a dog for the first time. She wasn't a family member; she was not well taken care of or loved." Once the rescue got the poor eight-year-old dog, they observed three things: She was adorable and kind, she was deaf, and she was neglected. "Tinkerbell has had very little medical care in the past. She came in with a very nasty ulcer on her eye, several tumors, rotten teeth, and ear infections," Kim says. "She was a medical mess."
Sansa
Sansa is a three-year-old Shepherd Mix in Stone Mountain, GA, who needs $1,500 for emergency care.

Animal rescuers know heartbreaking cases come with the territory. Sadly, they're used to seeing dogs and cats in hideous shape, cowering and abused. But when the crew at Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends (AARF) first saw Sansa, even they were shocked. "Someone abandoned this sweet girl at AARF," Susan L., from the rescue, tells Waggle. "She had a short piece of clothesline tied to an old, filthy collar. She was starving and barely able to walk, but her tail just wags. She still has some faith that someone will be nice to her. We are calling her Sansa, Queen of the North because she is a beautiful redhead who has been through some hell!" Susan is so thankful the Shepherd mix was abandoned at their shelter. "Luckily, she ended up with a rescue group and not in the middle of the street or dying alone in the woods," Susan says. > The AARF staff rushed Sansa to see veterinarian Françoise Tyler at Village Vets in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The dog only weighed 26 pounds, that's half of what she was supposed to weigh. The medical staff immediately went to work to help Sansa. "Sansa is severely malnourished," Susan adds. "She is also heartworm positive, which will need to be treated once she is strong enough." Any emergency medical case a rescue takes hits them right in their bank account. They stress over paying the vet bills and raising enough money to help the animals they save. In AARF's case, the group turned to Waggle for assistance. Now we're asking for YOUR help to help give Sansa a bright 2021! With medical care, she's expected to recover and become the happy dog she was meant to be. "Sansa is the sweetest dog and loves everyone she meets. Even when she was so weak, she just wagged her tail and waited for a kind word or a soft pet," Susan says. "She has a long way to go, but this girl has a zest for life and is ready to live a happy and healthy life again."
Boo Boo
Boo Boo is a four-month-old Domestic Shorthair kitten in Green Valley, AZ, who needs $1,186 for emergency leg surgery.

Some sicko thought Boo Boo would make the perfect target to shoot with a BB-gun. The poor kitten was found abandoned in the Arizona desert with her littermates. Luckily a kind man found the kittens and called Paws Patrol in Green Valley. When the rescue heard about the situation, they sprang into action. Boo Boo's leg was badly infected, and he needed help immediately. > "People think it's funny to target practice, but they're destroying an animals' life. This kitten is going to suffer. He doesn't know what happened and why he will die an early death if someone did not help him. It's painful to see people do things like that," Elizabeth L. from Paws Patrol tells Waggle. Sadly, Boo Boo's injuries are so severe he needs to have his leg amputated. The rescue and Dr. Nolasco at Valley Verde Veterinarians think Boo Boo will be "kicking it" even on three legs. You'd think Boo Boo would hate people by this point in his young life, but the man who saved the kittens is also fostering Boo Boo. He reports the kitten still purrs constantly and is so kind. The rescue says the resilience of animals amazes them. "The ordeal scared us, but a loving human can go a long way," Elizabeth adds. Paws Patrol has saved nearly 3800 cats since 2006. The nonprofit organization relies on donations, especially for expensive medical cases like Boo Boo. They are grateful for any donations that can help get Boo Boo back on three feet and off to a new life where people love him.
Boogie
Boogie is a Mackerel Tabby kitten in Overland, MO, who needs $525 for a Cardiac Ultrasound.

We weren’t looking for third cat, but it was hard not to instantly fall in love with this little guy! We named him “Boogie” because his energy and the way he pounces makes him look like he’s dancing around the house. He has an adorable little mark on his nose that looks vaguely booger-like. We have had boogie for about 1 month now and we believe he is 3-4 months old. We have two other cats that Boogie loves to play with and wrestle, but they all get along better when they’re feeling sleepy. Boogie loves to jump out from a hiding spot and surprise his brother and sister or pounce on them from above. Boogie loves humans, and purrs loud enough to be heard across the room when his owners lay a finger on him or even come close to him. I am a full-time graduate student, and my boyfriend works full time at a restaurant. Unfortunately, no one in our household has received their COVID-19 stimulus check, despite filing taxes, so any support is greatly appreciated! Vet staff ran into problems prior to neutering surgery. First, they could only feel one testicle, which would require additional abdominal surgery. They also found a heart murmur (rated 4/6) that could cause complications with anesthesia. Cardiac diagnostics are necessary to make further decisions about his health. His vets are Dr. Todd Thomas and Dr. David Burgener at Webster Groves Animal Hospital. Boogie loves playing with plastic grocery bags because of the crinkly sound they make when he pounces on them. He also likes getting inside the bags and just sitting there. He often sleeps in funny positions too, and he especially likes sleeping with something against his back. Perhaps his favorite place to sleep is against the back of a person sleeping on their side.
Archie
Archie is a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees in Jacksonville, FL, who needs $5,000 for chemotherapy.

Archie is the love of my life and the very best part of my day, week, month. I cannot wait to come home to him every day. When I went to meet Archie, I instantly started crying because I knew he was my furbaby and we would be bonded forever. Even as a fulltime student, I have made every sacrifice to make sure my baby is healthy and safe. He is so loved to the point that he gets home cooked meals. Archie is truly my protector but all the while is such a sweet, gentle giant. The first night I rescued him we were walking late at night and just as a stranger walked down the street in the distance, Archie grew about 3 inches and was on the defense. That evening as I sat on the couch he put his head in my lap and just stared at me as if he was thanking me for saving him and making him my family. I am a full time medical student who is at the start of her 3rd year (out of 4). I am already in debt and I live off my student loans. As a future physician, I have always believed everyone should have access to care, Archie should not be excluded in this. Archie went in for some simple diarrhea on 08/05/20 where a pea sized mass was felt on his right anal gland. On 08/21/20 he was diagnosed with Apocrine gland adenocarcinoma of the anal sac. Since we caught it very early, his prognosis is excellent with chemo and radiation. He is being treated by Dr. Neumann at SEVO med in Jacksonville, FL. Although chemo is difficult, Archie still loves intensely. Archie comes from a very abused background. He was left to starve to death until the neighbors cut him out of a cage. He was less than half his ideal weight we he was first taken in. However, this has not stopped my baby from being a solid 110 lbs now. He is certainly a foodie like his momma. He loves milk bone treats and when he is excited he can only hop up about 2 inches in sheer joy to get one
Suga

Suga was brought to me by a friend. Who had asked me to take care of her she was being mistreated in her former home. She was a tiny thing but full of spunk. We already had EZ they were both around the same age just about 5 months apart. They became family quite fast. Suga is definitely the life of the household. We felt she was meant to be with us since My nickname is Shug quite the coincidence. Suga Absolutely loves playing fetch. Even in the house. She can be quite demanding when her heart is set on something be it playing or getting her daily treat. It's like she has an alarm telling her it's time. She lives to play fight with EZ. And if she plays with humans she knows not to overstep and hurt you. She has this look she gives That's adorable makes your heart simply melt. Due to Covid my son hasn't work since March and I actually caught Covid in October and I am still not able to work until my symptoms completely go away. Suga is my heart I do not want to have to put her down due to cost. Please help us. Suga developed a mammanary mass on her stomach area. We are not yet sure if it's cancer or not. But she definitely needs surgery we also are not sure how many tumors she has. We have her on antibiotics. Not sure yet exactly how soon we can get the surgery done still working on locating a surgeon we have an appointment on January 12th. Suga has her moments. She sometimes likes to be alone. But then she'll want love and attention her and EZ will bumrush each other to see who can get the closest to me. Just because she's small fear not she will definitely make her way. We call her Catdog because she'll sit my shoulder get begins my head just to prove she can get the closest
