Bella made her way into our hearts and into our home in 2018. We had decided that we were wanting a pet but didn’t quite know what type of pet. What we did know was that the pet needed to come from a rescue or the humane society. We arrived to the humane society and made our way through all the rooms. It wasn’t until we arrived to the far back room that we met Bella! Bella is a vital part of our home. We’ve since adopted two cats (they were kittens when we got them) and another dog (Lucy) from the humane society. She cuddles with the cats and even plays with them every morning. Plays tug-o-war with Lucy throughout the day. She loves to cuddle on the couch and in bed! She loves to chase the cats laser toy, hoard her toys from Lucy, and play at the dog park! After a mechanic bill of almost $2k and a move that we just completed a week ago, we do not have the financial ability to cover the surgery in the timeframe that it needs to happen in. Anything that you can do to help us pay for the surgery that she needs is appreciated!!!!! Bella was at the dog park, running around carefree! She started to run her way back to me and tripped. She then began to limp. What I thought was a strain, ended up being a ruptured cranial cruciate ligament. If she doesn’t have this surgery, it’ll cause strain to the other muscles and arthritis will build. Surgery will take place at Vetco Total Care in San Marcos, CA by Dr Brian Massey. Bella has an obsession with anything that flies - butterflies, flies, and most of all - birds! She is absolutely hilarious even going to for a walk, Bella will search the sky and all the trees for a bird. She keeps her ears perked up to listen for the birds. Once she sees or hears a bird, there is nothing else she can focus on - she’ll even jump up in the air in attempt to reach a bird!

We decided we wanted a companion about 6 months ago. We didn’t know what God would lead us to. We found a breeder, who was known from our Pastor and we reached out to her. We didn’t really want a female so we decided to ask about a male. Little did we know, our hearts became so full when we met our little Zephyr!! He is a beautiful 6 month Shih Tzu. Our sweet boy is full of snuggles and love. He loved both mom and dad. He wants to play and love. He is always with us or around us. He does not like to be out of our sight. He’s a perfect little gentleman. He’s a Momma’s boy!!! He loves to give kisses and hugs. He loves to visit his aunt and uncle quite often!!! He gets so excited to see family!!! Due to the COVID-19 and the economy, I am unable to pay for this surgery. I have had to use my savings and my small teacher salary to make it. Having my baby healthy and able to potty correctly would bring more joy than I can explain. He deserves to have a healthy life! Our boy has a deformed penis. It has actually turned and grown back to the skin inside. He isn’t able to empty his bladder completely, leading to infections. He had a very small opening for his urine to come out and it isn’t allowing the pressure of needing to go allow him to empty fully. He is being treated at Live Oak Animal Clinic in Lubbock, Tx. Dr. Shelli Wolfe is his veterinarian. Oh sweet boy is so funny!! He likes to talk to us when he was at a something. If we have a special treat, he will talk until he gets his way!! He loves to play with scrunchies and socks!!! He makes us laugh so often during the day. He will grab his scrunchie and dive in his bed and Joey growl and bark!! It’s so funny since he is so tiny!!

I’m fundraising for Madelyn, a beautiful gray kitty who was recently abandoned in a parking lot along with 2 sisters and a brother. I was advised to keep the kittens in a cage until my big cats got used to them. Even in that cage, Madelyn and Pierre had so much fun. They climbed the door of the cage and swung around like little monkeys but whenever I opened the door they would race to explore. Madelyn is Absolute sweetheart. She hops and skips everywhere she goes and when she was feeling better she would fight her brother and they look like little ninjas together. She loves to take naps on my ample bosom! She has already made my adult cats here for her. My kitty queen, Shadow, looks after her and makes Sure she follows the rules. I work full time for my local government but I am also a single Mom and I don’t want my son To have this foster kitty die as he has already experienced more death in his 14 year life than any child should.. Madelyn has an upper respiratory infection and is under treatment with the Village Vets, a 24 hour hospital.. She receives treatment from more than one doctor but they call me every shift to let me know how she is. So far her condition has teetered between critical condition and improved condition. Madelyn will play with any object, dead or alive; socks, bugs, clothing, blankets and houseplants. She wrestled with her brother Pierre as if she were a boy too. I find it interesting that when I feed the cats the adults back off until the kittens have had their fill. My adult male is teaching them to stalk prey.

Hello! My name is Vanessa & my little Belle entered my life 9 years ago. She’s a full bred brown and grey Yorkie from New Jersey. She was given to me as a gift. She was so tiny, cute, and playful. She was the puppy I always wanted. She got her name from 12 year old me loving the character Tinkerbell, but as years went on, it got shortened to Belle, which is just as cute as her. Belle usually sleeps in my room and loves to cuddle with the stuffed animals I have in a corner. She can’t right now though, due to her condition. She always keeps me company she’s the cutest thing ever! When I’m home she wants to do everything with me, and will do tricks for snacks or treats. Whenever we display love and affection in a hug or a kiss she’ll bark until she gets some for herself! This was an unexpected finance that I was unprepared for. I’m a student without a job, My mother’s income got cut in half and can’t help. Belle doesn’t do most anything that she used to and it hurts me to see her in pain. I’d love to have my best friend back and happy! Belle has a huge benign mass under her stomach that grew rapidly. It would bother Belle so much that she would scratch it and create cuts. Antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicine didn’t help. The sores have now turned into holes on the mass and leak producing an awful odor. I would like to take her to get a much-needed surgery. Please Help me. Belle loves to play and go for walks. It’s the funniest thing whenever she sees my mom with her running shoes on she’ll start whining and barking and following her everywhere to make sure that she doesn’t leave without her. Sometimes she will sit with me and watch tv. It is so funny to see her growl or bark at things she doesn’t like on tv. She can twirl on her hind legs, give me paw, & rolls over

The first time you see Pepper, you feel shocked: How did anyone neglect a dog so much that the poor animal could end up looking like this? But when Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption saw Pepper, they looked past her hairless body and saw-- her potential. The moment volunteers noticed the emaciated black Lab's soulful, kind eyes staring out from behind her kennel bars in a Texas shelter, they knew they had to save her and get her medical attention. A wonderful volunteer, Madison E., picked up Pepper and raced her over to VCA Westcreek Animal Hospital. "We called the vet’s office and told them, 'We have another poor dog that's going to make you scratch your head on where to begin first! But let's triage what she needs to make her comfortable as soon as possible,'" Katherine Martin, the president of Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption tells Waggle. The volunteer-based rescue is very hopeful Pepper will soon blossom into the beautiful dog she was meant to be. "We can't thank everyone who donates enough," Martin adds. "Pepper has a long road ahead of her health-wise, but we already love her." Pepper's ailment list is long, but the rescue and Pepper's foster mom are prepared. So far, they know the dog needs treatment for a horrible skin infection, heartworm, and many lumps that need to be aspirated. Pepper is limping, needs X-rays, and has a tumor on her toe. "Sadly, we save dogs like this often. It's heartbreaking, and it's horrible," Martin says. "But we take on tough medical cases. We fix them up. We don't shy away from these dogs, hair, or no hair. You wait, she will be beautiful again one day."

This is my doggie named Gucci she is 11 years old. 2 years ago we adopted a Yorkie named Jojo and she passed away suddenly with cancer after having her for a few short months. Our neighbor passed away and we were able to adopt her doggie "Gucci". She has a bad infection in her gums and need emergency dental work. Kindly help me please. thank you... Gucci is very sweet and gentle... She is only 6 lbs. and brings us a lot of joy. During quarantine, she has made our life happier and full of surprises. She is so small she likes to hide in little tiny places. So we had to buy a big bell to put on her so we could find her. She loves to play, she can hardly bark and loves to snuggle. She has a bad infection in her gums and need emergency dental work. It will mean a lot to Makena to save another doggie she has adopted. We want to do whatever it takes to have Gucci healthy. She is in a lot of pain and finances are tight right now due to COVID. Having adopted many of our dogs, we never know what illnesses and or diseases they have. Gucci is in need of Major EMERGENCY Dental work. Her right Premolar top has a root infection, right neck is swollen, and Tummy swollen, Gums infected, ear wax, teeth decay. She goes to Eagle Glen Veterinary Clinic ( Dr. Rhee) in Los Angeles, CA Gucci is special because she came at a time where our other Yorkie Jojo (that we adopted)* got sick and died of cancer. I cried and cried for weeks Gucci puts a smile on my face because she loves to go on walks, she loves to eat, and she loves to play. Shee looks like a little bear and sometimes an Ewok character.

Brock is alive because of the kindness of strangers and a fantastic animal rescue who saved him. Now he needs your help. A passerby recently discovered Brock on the side of the road with wounds all over his legs. The puppy was the lone survivor of his litter; sadly, all his siblings were hit by a car and killed. The people who found Brock scooped him up and brought him to a shelter that immediately contacted Adoption First Animal Rescue. The group raced over to pick him up. "We brought Brock back to our rescue center," Staci V., with the nonprofit organization, told Waggle. "You could clearly see that all of his legs are very sensitive to the touch. He is dragging one of his legs when he walks." "Our rescue will make sure he gets the medical treatment he needs and then find him a wonderful family," Staci adds. "This puppy is only eight to ten weeks old, and he deserves to live an entire full life." Post-op Brock is expected to bounce back quickly and will be ready for his forever home. Adoption First Animal Rescue relies on donations and the support of giving animal lovers to help pets that need medical care. In fact, the group saves more than 500 dogs a year, all because of the generosity of others. Five Oaks Animal Hospital discovered Brock has an old leg injury that unfortunately can't be repaired with orthopedic surgery, so he needs to have his leg amputated. The rescue is now trying to raise the money for the operation. "Due to the nature of the injury, it is in a critical location that will require a specialist to perform the surgery," Staci says.

I rescued Onyx at five weeks old due to her mother passing away. She is a bully/pug mix. Onyx is the love of my life and she loves me the same. She has lived with me for the past two months where I have raised her and already trained her. She loves my children so much ❤️ and people... and snuggling in bed with her mom. Onyx loves everyone and anyone who has met her knows she's a special girl. She has me (her "mom") and 3 brothers and a sister who love her so much. She has many family members who care for her already in her short span of life. Like I said, Onyx truly loves everyone - I can't express to you how special my baby girl is. Unfortunately, because of everything with COVID-19, I am out of both of my jobs. I have already borrowed money from my family to cover some of what the surgery will cost, but it is not enough. Any other donations will help save my puppy and I will be so grateful! On July 14 2020, Onyx was using the stairs with her brother. She is usually an expert coming up steps, but when trying to go down she fell and broke her arm. Given the type of break, Onyx must either have surgery or an amputation. I really would like to see my girl be able to live a normal, beautiful life and get the help she needs and deserves. Onyx is a chewer. She loves playing with her ball and sit for chicken. She will give you both paws when asked. She is fully potty trained already at 13 weeks and is such a loving baby girl who deserves a chance. She's already so much ahead of her siblings. She has 2 sisters who she visits often and a daddy that she sees and loves so much.

Ginger came into my life after my Olivia passed away suddenly. Ginger was my saving grace. She is little 14 oz munchkin long haired chihuahua. Ginger got her name because of her hair color which is a reddish color. Ginger has 2 brothers and a sister that looks like her and a big sister as well (this is whom she fought with). Ginger is the Queen of the house. She does as she pleases! She loves to lay next to me in her bed while I work and taps me with her paw when she wants attention or when she is ready to get down. She runs the house essentially. Ginger is a firecracker at home but afraid of everything else outside her comfort zone of her home. My financial situation is not great. This was an unexpected incident. I pulled the little money I had saved $500 and gave it for her oxygen chamber charge. Ginger is my world and without the surgery to repair her esophagus I have to make a decision. I can’t lose her! Ginger has several fractures in her neck and several bite wound around her neck as well and a tear in her esophagus. She is currently at Lear Er in Cooper City, Fl being treated. She is now being weened off meds a bit, is walking but they need to get nutrition into her so that she can fully recover. The surgery will help to help her eat and come back to me and her brothers and sisters. Ginger loves treats and playing with my feet (play biting them). She has the most awesome little barks and her personality is one of a kind. Her brother Scrappy is her favorite sibling to run around with and play. She loves to sleep under the sheets nice and close to me at night. She loves to rest on my chest as I hold her with one hand because one hand is all it takes to hold her.
