Jenny is a 9-year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, who needs $2,000 for treatment for a mucosal mast cell tumor.

Jenny came into our family six years ago when we needed her most! She has been such a bright spot in our lives. When we picked her up she was so scared. I stayed up with her all night and rocked her and cuddled her. That night she became so attached that she is with me most of the time. I am a teacher so recently she passed her therapy dog test so that she could come to my school a couple of days a week to help students in need. Just a week after completing the class and passing her test, we found out she had a mast cell tumor in her mouth. As a teacher and single mom, I am unable to afford the chemo treatments that have been recommended. I would appreciate any assistance that can be offered in order to help Jenny's cancer from progressing.
Diddles

Diddles has been my best friend for over 10 years, she was a stray who found our home. She was my first pet. She has helped me through everything and everything I do includes her. Recently she was diagnosed with Stage I Hemangiosarcoma. We have completed the recommended surgery, and are now beginning chemotherapy (and hopefully combination homeopathic remedies). I am a recent college graduate, a current intern, and a part-time retail worker. After all Diddles has given me, I want to make sure I can give her the best chance possible to beat the odds and have as much good time left as possible, which includes a full treatment plan. I will do anything and everything I can for her, my very best friend.

I adopted Cheech in May of 2018 from a shelter. He was bald and had been recovering from menge. He is the sweetest, loving, and adorable dog I have ever owned. He is my first dog as an adult. I have only had him for 10 months but it feels like a lifetime of memories I have shared with this dog. Our bond is unbreakable and I don't think I will ever find another dog like him. In January of 2018 we were coming back from the store and he jumped out of my car and yelped in pain. I took him to the vet assuming he tore something. The vet performed xrays and found that he had 1. been shot by bird shot from a previous owner in the leg. and 2. He had a tumor on his bone. The vet diagnosed him with osteosarcoma in Feb. 2018. His tumor has grown very fast and we took the first available appointment to see a surgeon. The surgeon told us that his scans are negative for cancer other than his leg. If she removes the leg she will be able to save him. The surgery is 4,000 dollars I didn't have. I have been working double shifts trying to save enough money but have come short 1,000.00 If you could consider Cheech for this grant I would be eternally grateful. His surgery is scheduled for tomorrow 04/03/2019 and Im probably going to have to cancel if I cannot come up with the funds.

Nikita is a 12-year-old Siberian Husky in Oxford, MA, who needs $1,800 for radiation to treat a mast cell tumor.

Nikita has a mast cell tumor, and has had 2 surgeries as well as Chemotherapy, and while she is stable, the margins are not clean and she has regrowth along her incision. Her oncologist is recommending palliative radiation therapy, along with every other day chemo therapy medication. Thus far I have spent $4,000 for surgery and the previous chemo. They feel that this can be controlled for a year or so with the combination of chemo and radiation. I can afford the monthly chemo medicine with no problem, I just can not afford the $2650 for radiation, and would appreciate any help I can get.

When we rescued Brutus when he was 3 months of age we had no clue how important he would be this family. From day 1 he has brought immeasurable amount of joy into our lives and everyone who has met him. Brutus has been a gift to us and our children. He brings smiles to our faces and he can light up a room with his tail wagging. He is truly man's best friend. His best buddy is our 6 year old daughter. They could play and play together all day. He loves to sit and listen to her read The joy he brings to her face is priceless.

Kira was the first kitty ive ever had I grew up in the country and my parents didn’t allow me to have cats only dogs(workers). When I went to get her from breeder she just crawled up on my shoulder and started cleaning herself. She was the runt of the litter and could barely balance but she’s found her human. My heart is breaking thinking of her being in pain and I can’t give her relief.

Imogen became a part of my family when she was just 8 months old. She was skinny and scared. I’ll never forget seeing her pop her head out of that shoebox and thinking about how I loved her immediately. Imogen has been mine for six and a half years. The first year, she was still skittish and nervous around her family. Seeing her open up slowly was the best feeling I’ve ever experienced. Imogen has cemented herself as a part of our family. She is undoubtedly my best friend and the light of my life. Imogen is suffering from Pyometra and needs an operation to remove her uterus and ovaries. Her condition was sudden and unexpected and has left us feeling helpless.

As Hunters’s mom I am so happy to introduce you to him and his family. My two daughters, now 10 and 11 adopted Hunter when he was a wee pup from a rescue shelter. He has been a part of our family for 7 years. He was left at the shelter when his former mommy became homeless and couldn’t take care of basic veterinary needs nor daily needs. He is with us all the time and loves watching after and protecting the girls. He is truly a member of our family and we treat him as such. Hunter is not ready to go. We are not ready for him to go. He is a son and a brother. We just celebrated his 9th birthday October 3. He loves watermelon and cucumbers. He hates peanut butter. We love him to the moon and back a gazillion times.
