Nala was given to me as a gift for Christmas from a family member the minute they showed me her I fell in love with her. I named her after my favorite movie which is lion king I named her after the female lion nala. Nala has been diagnosed with pyometra which is treatable but only with surgery she really sick she can’t walk normal or run she struggles to just get up and drink water and has loss of appetite when she a very active happy dog she loves playing with kids and she loves playing with water but sadly she can’t do none of those things right now because of her situation. We don’t consider nala as just a dog she has became apart of the family we all adore her she gets along with all 7 kids that we have at home including a newborn she very gentle and never over steps her boundaries she is very patient. Nala gets along with everyone she over protective especially of the kiddos and of course the yard she a such an amazing dog I couldn’t ask for a better pet. I’m only 19 and I don’t make enough income to get her healthy on my own and my family is here for support but financially they can’t help me come up with enough but anything will help even a dollar I just want to get my baby healthy again i appreciate it so much.

Baby Rigby joined On My Way to Furever Rescue in December 2024. He was born at a puppymill and would have been euthanized as he could not be sold, due to his condition. Rigby has been in a wonderful foster home, being treated for several conditions since his arrival. Rigby's life matters to us and he requires a very detailed and expensive surgery to correct his defective leg. Rigby has already been seen by our Rescue Vets at Advantage Veterinarian Hospital in High Ridge, Mo. He had a horrible skin condition which required medicated daily baths and special foods to try and pinpoint the cause. Thank goodness for his foster mom, he's not had any reoccurring issues in months. Rigby also, has totally lost his sight in one eye, his eye suffered a puncture at the puppymill. Rigby is a precious little guy, he has the best attitude and personality, despite his handicaps. He tries to play with the fosters resident dogs and enjoys a good bark at the kitties. He's never met a stranger. Even the staff at the Orthopedic Surgeon's rave about his sweet demeanor. Rigby has surgery scheduled for Oct 21st at Veterinarian Orthopedic Surgery Center in Wentzville, Mo. We are a very small foster based rescue near St.Louis, Mo and recently spent over 5k on two young Cocker Spaniel brothers that needed extensive eye surgeries. Actually 3 surgeries apiece for eye correction. Rigby is such a loving little boy and we are praying for help.
Bert
Urgent Help Needed for Bert’s Liver Treatment

Florida’s Forgotten Felines, a small volunteer-run rescue dedicated to caring for and rescuing community cats, recently discovered that Bert, a sweet colony cat, had been missing for 5 days and returned very ill. At his first appointment, Bert underwent a comprehensive examination, including X-rays, blood work, flea treatment, and a SNAP test to check for underlying illnesses The results were alarming: Bert’s liver values were extremely high, indicating that he may have been exposed to a toxin or harmful substance during his time away. His condition required close monitoring and follow-up care to ensure his recovery and prevent further complications. Bert is scheduled for a follow-up appointment where he will undergo additional blood work to track his liver health and ensure he is responding to treatment. Every test, procedure, and veterinary visit comes with a cost, and as a very small volunteer-run organization, Florida’s Forgotten Felines relies entirely on the generosity of donors to provide lifesaving care for cats like Bert. This organization’s mission is to care for and rescue community cats who often have no one else to turn to. They work tirelessly to provide food, shelter, medical care, and love to cats in need, but they cannot do it without support.
Harriet
Harriet is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Santa Fe, NM, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy.

Harriet was transferred ot the Santa Fe Animal Shelter in October 2015. Adopted and returned three times due to shyness before we found each other in December. She had a tough beginning. The first task was to change her name from Gypsy to Harriet. She has been my biggest pet challenge and greatest reward. Harriet loves a good walk and play dates with her dog pals. So blessed to have her. Harriet has been diagnosed with a ccl tear (like a human acl tear) and is tentatively scheduled for surgery on 10/21/25 with Gruda Veterinary in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Harriet's adult dog pals include Cochiti (corgie mix), Isabella (golden doodle) and her best boy, Liam (a mini golden doodle). She loves her human tribe as well, especially on walks along the Santa Fe river trail and play dates. Harriet was my biggest challenge, but also my greatest reward having her in my life since we found each other. I am a senior on social security and snap benefits and do not have the income to pay for this surgery. Any and all help is greatly appreciated to assist with making this surgery happen and getting Harriet back to her happy mobile self on our daily walks and play dates.
Brady
Brady is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Parkville, MD, who needs $1,300 for Urinary Blockage Removal.

Brady came into our lives after he was rescued by The Feline Rescue Association. He was a scrappy thing with severely infected eyes. Unfortunately, he lost one in his struggle to survive. I officially adopted him several months later. Since he came into the lives of myself and my daughters, he has been a constant source of love, and snuggles. He now loves nothing more than a good lap to sleep in! Brady is currently at the excellent Jarrettsville Veterinary Center receiving care. He has a severe urinary tract blockage affecting his bladder and kidneys, causing him constant pain. Without crucial treatment, he will not survive. He is only 5 years old, and we are doing everything we can to keep him with us so he can experience a life full of laps and love. Brady doesn't do much, but what he does do, he does with love. His favorite place to sleep is in the bathroom sink or on my pillow (while I am laying on it). If anyone is having a bad day, he will be right there to offer his cuddle services as long as you have a soft lap and a hand to pet him with. He has been a constant source of comfort, affection and strength for myself and my girls. We just rescued "Chewy", a dog that I found abandoned by the dumpsters in my neighborhood. After his stray hold at BCAS, we brought him home. His immediate veterinary needs wiped out my savings. Brady got sick before I could build them back up.
Taj
Taj is a Mix-Breed cat who needs $400 for Bloodwork and Follow up Visits and a Chance

Taj was rescued from outside a local car dealership, finally getting the safety and care he deserved. But after his routine neuter appointment, his foster noticed something was wrong. Taj’s temperature spiked to a dangerous 104°F. With no visible signs of infection but a rapidly rising fever, he was rushed to the emergency vet late at night, where he received fluids and pain relief to stabilize him. After extensive testing, Taj was diagnosed with Mycoplasma hemofelis: a parasitic infection that attacks red blood cells. According to our vet, the condition had likely been quietly developing, and the stress of surgery brought it to the surface. Taj is now on a 30-day treatment plan that includes regular bloodwork, medication, and ongoing vet visits. He’s showing signs of improvement—but he’s not out of the woods yet. As his medical care continues, the costs are adding up quickly, and we need your help to give Taj the fighting chance he deserves.
Harry
Sweet Senior Harry Needs Your Help

Poor Harry found himself as a stray almost a year ago. He was placed in one shelter then transferred to another when no one wanted to adopt him. The second shelter treated him for heartworm and pulmonary hypertension, but Harry still couldn’t find anyone to adopt him. When NE Ohio Greyhound Rescue was asked to take him in, they thought they could find him a forever home, but when that didn’t pan out, they decided that he should spend his remaining years at their sanctuary, surrounded by loving humans and friendly hounds. Harry is a sweet senior boy, approximately 10 years old, and sometimes a little goofy but that's what makes him unique. He can be a little unsure of himself at times and finds himself getting into trouble from time to time. He's quickly learning the routine at the sanctuary, and he’s smart and understands many words and phrases. As a hound, he loves to sniff the ground and watch the wildlife, but he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He will need to take a series of chest x-rays and Doppler blood pressure readings to check on the condition of his heart and lungs. Truman
This Senior Dog Needs Your Support

With no place else to go and blind from Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), NE Ohio Greyhound Rescue knew that Truman needed to be in special care asap. Truman had sky-high blood pressure and inherited the genetics for tooth and gum issues, which are common in some greyhound bloodlines. No amount of brushing, scaling, liquid additives, or wipes would prevent tooth loss. He's had to have several teeth extracted due to excessive gum recession. Now, as a senior dog, he's developed cataracts, and they need to test his eye pressure for glaucoma regularly. Removing the cataracts won't restore his vision, but if left untreated, it could lead to glaucoma. This is why the vet needs to test his eye pressure regularly. Truman is truly a special guy, as sweet as can be, a true Velcro dog and wonderful companion. He's found his place on his caretaker's bed. He’s found his courage to explore, to love and to be loved. Every day brings smiles as Truman adjusts to his handicap and thrives. NE Ohio Greyhound Rescue provides sanctuary and medical care for special needs animals that are deemed unadoptable. Pixel’s tiny meows were desperate cries for help when a kindhearted stranger found him shivering outside their door. At just 12 weeks old, he had already endured more pain than most animals should in a lifetime. The team at Castaway Critters drove all the way to Halifax, VA, to bring him to safety. What they discovered broke their hearts—an injured eye, ear mites, fleas, worms, and a devastating degloved bottom lip. His lip, covered in sores and ulcers, hung open, making it painful to eat or groom. The vet says Pixel will need a procedure under sedation to remove the dead skin and suture his lip closed. For now, he’s on Clavamox to fight the infection, but he’s not out of the woods yet. Pixel is gentle, trusting, and grateful for every ounce of kindness he’s shown.
