We adopted Po and his sister from the shelter in December 2023 after they had been returned by their previous adopters. Instantly I knew that my house was their forever home and I would do anything to make sure they knew that too. Towards the end of September we noticed Po was not himself and that his gums where white. I took him to the ER vet and they ran all the test and found out he had severe anemia and needed a blood transfusion ASAP. Luckily when I had almost lost all hope I received a grant to get him the transfusion! The ER vet has referred us to Advanced Veterinary Care in Orlando to figure out why he got so sick. My son named Po after Kung Fu Panda and he truly lives up to his name and brings so much character and joy to our lives. He is usually running around the house climbing on even things you wouldn't think he could reach and launching of of the walls as he flashes down the hallway. But he always finds time to make sure he gets in his snuggles and will climb right in our laps when he's felling cuddly. I am currently living paycheck to paycheck and financially behind after some big unexpected expenses last year and wont be able to catch up until taxes. Po is to young to leave us. I just know he can make it through this! If anyone is able to help it would mean so much.

Girl lives with her dad and mom in Los Angeles. Her dad, Spence, adopted Girl six years ago from a neglectful living situation, and later, Charlotte fell in love with both Girl and Spence, a package deal. Girl loves going on adventures with her parents, especially hikes with creeks or running on the beach. She is a total cuddle-bug, always finding a spot on the couch or at the foot of the bed. After Girl stopped using her leg last week, the urgent care vet diagnosed her with a cruciate ligament tear in her back right leg (or torn doggy ACL), which requires TPLO surgery. Since then, Girl has been having extreme stomach issues. Even with stomach meds and bland food, she cannot keep any food or water down. Girl is now extremely dehydrated and in pain from her torn ligament. Our baby, Girl, is a people-dog and loves the attention when friends and family come over. Girl is ridicously friendly, finding human and dog friends on every walk we go on. She is a very active dog and loves playing fetch at the nearby park or going on hikes with her parents. Girl is a daddy's girl and follows Spence's every move around the house, pouting whenever he leaves for work. Charlotte started working with kids with autism this month, taking a big pay cut. Spence is working 30 hours, and applying to second jobs for awhile. Having Girl healthy again would mean the world. She is the light of our lives and it is hearbreaking to see her sick.

Bam and I met by fate when he was only 5 weeks old. His owner had purchased him from a breeder in need of some fast cash so Bam was sold and taken from his mother early. The man who purchased Bam left him with me the same day and never returned to get him until 2 months later. It broke my heart seeing him go. A week later his owner was arrested and police returned him to me at the owners request. I have Financial supported and cared for Bam since the first day we met. I have assured he was updated on all his immunisations but somehow Bam has contracted Parvo which has a 99% fatality rate if untreated by a veterinarian. It requires hospitalisation and aggressive treatment with antibiotics and IV fluids. Bam is my shadow, He goes with me everywhere. He loves everyone and never sees a stranger. Bam is not only loved by me but by anyone who meets him. He enjoys cuddles, hide - n - seek, car rides and thinks he is human. He loves playing with other dogs, cats and especially children. Bam is truly the sweetest puppy I've ever known. I recently had to move, due to my landlord selling the property unexpectedly. Relocating has put a financial strain on me as my work hours have significantly reduced,by a recall from a car manufacturer that has effected my employer. I would be greatful to anyone who coul.

Gunnar, our lovable golden retriever, captured our hearts at 8 weeks old, the day before our wedding. Alongside Xena, his Aussie sibling, he brought boundless joy. Tragically, we lost Xena to Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis (HGE) in Dec 2023. Gunnar remains our cherished companion, now a playful 5-year-old, showering us with affection and warmth, bringing endless happiness to our family. Gunnar was diagnosed with a cancerous Mast Cell Tumor on Nov 5th. Surgery is scheduled for Nov 21st at Sandy Paws Animal Hospital in Wilmington, NC. We're anxiously hoping for clear margins, ensuring the cancer is fully eradicated, and Gunnar can recover and thrive once again. Gunnar, our adorable golden retriever, is a bundle of love and energy! He's incredibly cuddly and thrives on attention. His favorite pastimes include lounging with our toddler and us, but he transforms into a playful powerhouse when squeaky toys appear! Plush toys, however, meet their demise at his enthusiastic paws. Since my husband's military-to-civilian transition, finances have been tight. Losing Xena in Dec 2023 drained our resources. Gunnar's cancer diagnosis weighs heavily. Your support for surgery would be a lifeline! Our hearts still healing, losing Gunnar would be unbearable.

My baby Creampuff is my only surviving fur baby from a horrible House fire on October 24th,2024. He lost 3 of his brother felines and a canine brother and sister. His paws and nose are badly burned and is going to need extensive veterinary care. I am on social security disability so its limited funds. We have no place to live. My heart is breaking and broken for the loss of my other pets The veterinary Hospital I am taking him to is Pet Hospital of New Bern,NC. My usual vet couldn't get him in quickly enough. Creampuff is a very sweet cat. He loved to play with his siblings and look out the window at the birds. Creampuff has become very vocal since he was found after the fire. He hid for days I didn't even know he made it out of the house. I am on social security disability and now have to find a home for us. My baby needs to get better He's all I have left. The powers that be helped him out of the fire and brought him back to me.

We actually watched our Blossom come into this world out of a litter of nine.Her mother is also one of our dogs.We also kept one of her brothers.Recently, her grandfather passed away,But our family now consists of Blossom and her brother Boggie,her mother Saphire and her uncle PoBear Blossoms grandfather,Mr.Bojangles death was devastateing and we are still in mourning.. We have had the same vet for twelve years.Dr. Vicki at the Kernville Animal Hospital,she has known all of our dogs since birth.A fews years back, Blossom had a large tumor removed from one of her front paws and now has a very nasty one on her hind end.(Please referance pics.)Unfortunately,these cancerous tumors are hereitary.We have to keep a cone around her head to prevent her from liking it. Mus say that Blossom gets along with all of tour other dogs equally.She is our drama princess,very vocal and expressive.When she is ready to come in from outside,she acts like the sky is falling or something.Her very favorite thing is going on her walk each day.She does what we call "whirly twurrlys"She spins around all the way from the door to our gate,we counted 14 times one day. We feel so defenseless,knowing we cant take her pain away here at home.Words can not describe how grateful we would be if only we could get this nasty tumor removed.Our vet told us that they are unable to accept payments and that the emergency fund is now depleted.

Pippi dragged her little body along the ground; her back legs were deformed from a combination of malnutrition and congenital disabilities, which left her unable to walk. She was dumped and discovered alone on the streets, struggling to survive. When our Soltis Hope Street Animal Rescue team learned of her heart-wrenching condition, we didn't hesitate. We immediately sprang into action, determined to save her. We knew from the moment we saw her that we would do everything to give this sweet pup every chance at a better life. We gently scooped her into our arms, feeling her tiny heart beating against us. After consulting with the country's best orthopedic surgeon, we knew the surgery to help her would be difficult and expensive. It involves pinning, cross-pinning, and plating both legs to reconstruct her back limbs. This intricate procedure is necessary to give her the best chance to walk again. Please help us turn Pippy's life from pain and sadness to one of the greatest success stories ever!

Almost Home Canine Rescue No living being should ever have to face what this sweet three-month-old puppy has. In his short life, Little Buddy has already survived homelessness, hunger, dehydration, major urinary issues, and some type of severe blunt-force trauma that left him with a broken hind leg, serious road rash, and skin abrasions. The day he arrived at our rescue, we thought his hardest days were behind him. Lil' Buddy's plan of care was straightforward: surgery to fix his broken leg. Instead, a complication was discovered during his pre-operative care. Desperate for answers, we rushed him to a specialty vet in Omaha where the diagnosis was heartbreaking. In addition to a broken leg, he had a severely broken pelvis. To make matters worse, the injury was old. Very old. And it had already begun to heal incorrectly, causing major damage to his urinary system. Little Buddy has gone from one hospital to the next: From Omaha ER to another specialty hospital in Sioux Falls to fix his urethra and wire his pelvis together. Then, just when things were looking up, he found himself being rushed right back to Omaha ER to undergo a second emergency surgery to fix a urinary fistula. We’ve seen a lot at our rescue, but we have never seen a living being work so hard to dismantle his trust issues. Nor have we ever seen an animal so desperate for safety, food, and a restful sleep. All this to say, this case – this dog – is not your average one. Little Buddy deserves the world. He has so much ahead of him. So much love to give. He deserves the world, and after all he's been through, we want to give it to him. Right now, donations are urgently needed to help support Little Buddy, as his total medical expenses are going to be staggering. The $3,000 originally estimated for a relatively straightforward surgery has more than doubled as a result of the emergency medical care his internal injuries prompted. Anything you can spare, $10 or $50, helps immensely in supporting his medical bills. Thank you so much for your kindness and support! Update 9/3/24: Buddy is doing well. He is still struggling with urinary issues but he is making progress every day. The current plan is to perform his FHO surgery in a few weeks once his pelvic fractures heal. He has been through a lot but is still in good spirits! Update 9/15/24: Little Buddy is doing okay and slowly healing. He recently started a new medication that will hopefully help with his urinary issues. Even though this is a slow process, we are glad he is making steady progress and is headed in the right direction. Update 9/24/24: Lil Buddy, our resilient little fighter! He’s headed back to Omaha for another round of surgery due to ongoing urinary issues. This brave pup has already overcome so much with his broken leg and pelvis injuries, but now he needs our help again. His upcoming surgery is crucial and is expected to cost upwards of $4,000. We’re calling on all animal lovers to send Lil Buddy some good vibes and, if possible, a donation to support his recovery. Every little bit helps, and together, we can give him the healthy, happy life he deserves! Update 10/5/2024: The foster was able to finally start potty training Buddy because his control over his bladder was getting better, but he was still leaking and the urine smelled foul. Our vet spoke with the Omaha vet, and both were perplexed, but it was decided he would go back to Omaha for a consult. The vet sedated him and pulled urine from his bladder to send away for culture. She called with the results almost a week later with the best news - he had 2 bacterial infections and we had a great game plan! He was put on multiple meds, and the vet would go in and fix a different fistula that was caused by his initial pelvic break. In addition, she is confident she can neuter and fix his leg in the same surgery!
