So this is the most wonderful unexpected gift I have ever received, his name is Chance, I got him when he was about 6 months old. He was abandon in my apartment complex by a neighbor who felt he was not disciplined enough at such a young age. Little would I know he would become the reason for life and his name Chance was given to him because I felt we both needed a second chance at life. This last week he has became sick and I was hoping it would pass due to the fact that I have loss work and a car to be able to bring him to a vet. After a week of him not really using the number two feature and starting so shake his head at times I have called friends to bring me to a clinic which is why I am here today praying for people with warm hearts who love Chance to help me nurse him Anyone who knows Chance know how he is are favorite watering hole mascot. Farringtons in pleasant hill is his second home. He also has an amazing best friends name Yellow and Riley who he enjoys swimming with and play fighting everyweekend. He also has a very loving grandmother, god father and god mother that were key to Chance coming home to me. I have lost my job,due to not being paid on time, Rent is constantly due and it is hard to get that paid when I am only doing side jobs. I have recently interviewed for a great employment opportunity. The last thing I want to do is beg for help. But I love my Chance
Riley
Riley is a 3 year old English Springer Spaniel in Playa Vista, CA, who needs $2,000 for Half Body Veterinary Radiation Therapy.

Riley came to us 3.5 years ago - it's been absolute joy since. But, on Aug. 29, Riley's cheeks became swollen like baseballs. We weren't prepared for the shocking, devastating news that he has STAGE 4 LYMPHOMA | CANCER. He's been tolerating chemo AMAZINGLY - drs are encouraged he can live longer than the stats. But treatments are staggeringly expensive & we need $$ help to keep him alive. Stage 4 Lymphoma means the cancer is everywhere on Riley - except his bones. He's getting chemo therapy at Veterinary Cancer Group who've said Riley's the best possible example for 1/2 body radiation - a new therapy at UC Davis - a 14 hr car ride away - and one of the best vet teaching hospitals in the world. We are hopeful that with this treatment, we can extend Riley's life significantly. Riley Boo, Peanut, Silly Billy - all names we use to describe our little cancer dog. His soulmate and brother, Hunter, and him play endlessly. He still has so much energy and love for life- even with chemo! He chases balls, is on "squirrel look out," barks at our neighbor's cat and is a world-champion cuddle bug. We are all - mommy, daddy, Hunter, nanny and her kitty, Midnight - obsessed. What isn't going on with us... both out of work and in the worst financial situation of our lives - and this happens. It's gut-wrenching to find yourself in this position and learn your dog needs expensive cancer treatments - when you can barely afford the rent.

We rescued Maui, a 3-year-old shepherd mix we rescued from the Helen Woodward Humane Society when he was 8 weeks old. A year ago, Maui's incredible bond with my daughter proved to be life-changing. In her darkest hour, Maui's presence, love, and infectious happiness provided her with the strength and motivation to keep fighting. Maui was diagnosed with advanced Oral Fibrosarcoma. Thankfully, he underwent successful surgery through a clinical trial at UC Davis. Unfortunately, complications arose, leaving Maui with a significant hole connecting his oral and nasal cavities, causing choking when eating and drinking. A second surgery is scheduled for October 1st to address this issue and check for any remaining cancer cells. Maui is the most majestic and joyous granddog in all of San Diego. His love for hiking, nature, and camping mirrors that of his dedicated owners. He brings joy to our lives every day. My daughter, a full-time college student, was compelled to resign from her job to provide continuous care for Maui after his initial surgery. As a result, we are now reliant on a single income. Your support during this challenging time would be greatly appreciated.

Sweetie is a 10 year old Labrador Retriever in Thailand who needs $600 for Mammary Mass Removal and Spay.

Hand to Paw Sweetie has such a large mammary mass that she is unable to walk properly. She was found struggling to move as the mass swung back and forth getting in the way of her legs. Hand to Paw stepped in to make sure Sweetie receives the care she needs. They immediately took her to a veterinary clinic where additional masses were found. The good news is the cancer hasn't spread to the lungs and she is healthy enough for surgery! Sweetie will have the mass removed and be spayed at the same time. She will stay at the clinic for a week after the surgery for pain management and wound care. Hand to Paw is on a mission to help Thailand street dogs. This is my little angel, Leia. She has been in my life for going on 14 years. She has been by my side through divorce, a few bad relationships, 5 moves, and a lot of tears. She’s been my rock to keep me going every day. I adopted her at Colonial Heights Animal Shelter. She was the weirdo sleeping in her litter box and I knew from that moment she was going to change my life. Leia has been very small her entire life. I believe she was the runt of her litter because although she’s always eaten healthy, she never grew much in size. As of 2 weeks ago she was playful and not once showed her age. People don’t believe me when I say how old she is. She recently started declining fast. Started with a UTI and she hasn’t been the same since. My thoughts point to dementia.. Leia is a scardy cat. She’s afraid of everything from vacuums to plastic bags. She has been mommy’s girl her whole life. I’ve never had an animal love me and look at me the way she does. Our bond is untouchable. She loves me unconditionally and I can’t imagine her not being in my life. I know the day will eventually come but I can’t accept why she deteriorated so fast on me out of nowhere. I am in between jobs right now. If I could spend every penny on her I would. I sit with her every day to keep an eye on her. She’s not using the litter box anymore so it’s a constant battle. If I could get her help it would ease my mind and help me get back on my feet.

My family wanted this cat from my friends liter. He has always been so happy. He lives with myself, my significant ofher, and our two children. He also has a cat brother polka. I am calling in regards to my male cat. He isnt doing well. He is straining to urinate, in pain when jumping down from bed, either going to the litter box multiple times or staying in for long periods of time. Not playful like usual, and the pink in his private is out mostly all the time. Garfield is really a garfield. He is very friendly and always happy. He is always getting into things and being himself playful and joyful. He loves to cuddle and sleep on my kids beds! Unexpected health and loss of income. I am sad to have to ask for help but I know my fur baby deserves it. I have called all local hospitals and tried to get him the best care.

Baw Baw Animal Welfare Midnight is suffering from severe burn wounds all over his body. The most heartbreaking part is these injuries were not accidental and he is the victim of animal cruelty. During a personal dispute with the dog's owner, an individual poured acid on Midnight causing the horrific burns. His owner did not want to deal with the inconvenience of getting Midnight care and dumped the dog. Baw Baw stepped in to provide Midnight the emergency veterinary care he desperately needed. When he arrived at their clinic, he was lethargic and struggling with every breath. Midnight's condition is critical and he will require extensive medical care. The road to recovery will be long and challenging, but Baw Baw is determined to provide Midnight with the best chance at recovery. Please consider donating and helping Midnight!

This is a story about Boomer. I had two older cats and one passed leaving the other totally distraught. I saw a little rescue, Boomer (the black one) and was told there was another from the same litter also needing a home. I was shocked to see she was the polar opposite of him. Of course, they must stay together. They are inseparable. Quickly I discovered they both have skin allergies. Boomer's skin is so sensitive, he doesn't even want petting on his back and sides. Happy for head/cheek/neck scratches. He won't allow grooming of any kind. When they were two, I discovered they both have calcium oxalate bladder stones. She has had 2 surgeries and can only have 1 more. He has had 1 surgery. Boomer is having a problem right now. Boomer is the most cuddly and lovey cat ever. He is with me always. I went thru multiple years of chemo/radiation/surgeries &sickness and he never leaves my side. He sleeps next to me, sometimes right on top of me. Like a guard cat:) He always watches out for his sister. Since age 2, they require RX canned food at >$300/month. Surgeries$, vet visits$, food$. I can't maintain any more. I'm 70 now, Stage IV & on a small pension. With my health$/bills$; I can do no more. My heart is truly breaking. Please help me help him. We need each other.

Sophie is my baby of the house, she is 1 yrs old & she is not afraid of anything or anyone, she loves the water, & held like a little baby, & ever so vocal. Sophie just showed up at my door one day We would spend all day together after work until bedtime, in the morning I would feed her, comes home a call for her & she would come. Eventually I got the paid to get her shots so she could come in Sophie needs an emergency spay immediately, due to a life threatening infection called Pyometra,. Pyometra is a life-threatening bacteria infection and it is fatal, right now any day can be her last day, but with surgery she 92% survival. She has an appointment at Petco's medical clinic to confirm, than she will being going to Reidville Vet Hospital. I can add more as I know more. I know I said somethings about Sophie already., but she is amazing anytime she hears the shower on here she comes & she will jump up as soon as I get out of the shower so I have to quick wrap a towel around, she is the 1st baby at the door to say hi, she loves affection and cuddles, and to beat up on her uncle Edgar, and scare her grandma Nina. She is the definition of "if I fits, I sit" The economy the way it is, financial wages do not match what is being asked. I just put $300 into my car on Friday. I am the only paying bills right now but my fiance and I are also going through a immigration process that we just put $600 down on. We were not expecting this
