Serenity
Serenity is a 10-year-old Mixed Breed in Columbia, MD, who needs $2,000 for Amputation of the Front Left Leg.

Serenity is a ten-year-old mixed breed dog we adopted as a 7-week-old puppy. She was billed as a pure breed German Shepherd, but DNA proved that wrong. She has seven different breeds! She has had a blessed life with four cats and 2-days a week at playdates. Living in Maryland she gets car rides daily and goes everywhere with her family. She loves interacting with people and is often called the neighborhood welcome party. Mostly she enjoys sitting near Mom as she works. When visitors arrive, she is the first to greet them usually with butt wags and small barks. She is the center of the house and our family. She is incredibly special due to her coloring. In the last four years, she has turned white on her head. As a surprise when told it was vitiligo. The same problem that Michael Jackson had and most people did not know that it was something that dogs can experience. It makes her so beautiful and special. December 2023 had Serenity limping which led us to make a veterinary appointment. Thinking it was just a pulled muscle we were heartbroken to find that it was bone cancer. After several veterinary appointments and testing the cancer is limited to her left front leg. We scheduled to have the leg removed but the bill of $7578.18 plus earlier bills $2,740.60. Pressing is the surgery cost. I can only get a loan for $4800 and if my credit is not perfect it is a high rate. Hoping for assistance with this bill.
Cake
Cake is a six-month-old Domestic Shorthair kitten in Oklahoma City, OK, who needs $2,000 for urgent surgery.

Cake carved out a massive spot in the hearts of her animal rescuers at the Kanoa Rescue Foundation. "Cake was brought to our doorsteps by our neighborhood kids who told us, 'You can have her,'" Krystal C., with the rescue, tells Waggle. "They found her down the street and knew we ran an animal rescue. We took her in with open arms." The group adopted her out, but tragically, the adopters returned her to the rescue a month later after she was hit by a car! "We had no idea she would be able to gain access to the outdoors," Krystal says. Cake is now hospitalized. Her hip is dislocated, her lower spine is broken, and she has nerve damage. The nonprofit group is crushed this happened to Cake. They want her to get back to the spunky kitten they fell in love with. "Cake has a personality that shines through everything she does," Krystal says. "On average, she is a stage 5 clinger. As a foster kitten, she loved getting in the shower with us just to be held, even though she hated the water." She needs urgent surgery, and the rescue needs your help raising the money. "When unexpected tragedies occur like this, we scramble to find the thousands of dollars we need to create change," Krystal says. Please give to help Cake!
Noodles
Noodles is a 10-year-old Maltese in Dallas, TX, who needs $1,278 for Tumor Removal, Tooth Extractions, Skin and Eye Treatments.

Noodles was found huddled in an apartment complex, alone and frightened. She was absolutely exhausted with a terribly matted coat. She had a large tumor on her head, mammary cysts, rotted teeth, skin and eye infections and was not spayed. Noodles is now safe and getting the tender loving care she deserves with Pooch Savers Rescue. They immediately scooper her up, vowing to pave the path to sunnier days. She is a senior dog, who is so kind and loving. She is desperate for love and has no shortage while she is being cared for by Pooch Savers. It is evident that she is improving, each day she is happier than the last. Noodles is being treated at Mercy Animal Clinic in Garland, Texas. Noodles had the tumor on her head removed as well as her mammary cysts. The vets' initial testing of the tumors came back as "suspicious", so she will need a full biopsy of what was removed. She has been spayed, groomed to fix her coat, treated for her skin and eye infections, and got a teeth cleaning and extraction. Please help Pooch Savers Rescue care for sweet senior Noodles. "Her owner had tried home remedies for her skin, but nothing was working, and she gave her away," Heather A., from the nonprofit group, tells Waggle. "When she bathed her, Cora screamed in pain. This person contacted us to see if we could help." Cora's skin is itchy, sore, broken, and bleeding from mange. Her ears are infected. All she does is shiver and cry. Her veterinarian asked One By One to order Cora a sweater. She needs pain medications, antibiotics, and daily baths with a special shampoo to start feeling some relief, then regular vet care when she is stable. Your generosity can change Cora's world. As some may know Echo was found a week ago in my partners backyard I took him home fed, and bathed him. To keep him out of the cold while we search for his family. After no response besides shares and suggestions, I have chosen to take him in my other 2 boy cats Misha and Minnow have already accepted him as part of the family Echo is already so so loved! Echo Loves to play with his New brothers Minnow and Misha. He is such a sweet happy boy dispite his injuries. You would never know I just bought him home a week ago because he warmed right up to The boys and Myself. They accepted him quickly too. He matches Minnows energy and I think that is good for both of them and gives Misha a break for snuggles and sun bathing. Echo warms my heart he loves to snuggle like My dear Cat Moose who crossed the rainbow Bridge due to complications 2 years ago. He makes me laugh when he chases the scrolling text on the TV screen. Watching him play on the cat trees is so much fun and seeing him get along with Minnow and Misha so quickly warms my heart Echo has an appointment at Caseville small animal clinic February 14th for a check up and to treat what I can describe as a bite wound. Sadly while brushing Echo after his bath, I accidentally opened a scab on his back which caused what could only be described as puss and infection Oozed out of a quarter sized lump that quickly refilled within hours of draining it the first time. Unfortunately, I am unemployed at this time and am already just scraping by. I have a small amount of savings but fear I won't be able to pay for more than the $65 Medical appointment cost. Anything above $150 is out of my range after that. We love Echo so much already!
Chief

Chief is a rescue dog who came into my life when I was living my first real heartbreak. He was only 4 months old but already too big for a puppy cage at Nashville Humane. When I saw him, I knew he was my pup. He's been with me for almost 10 years, and is the greatest dog ever. He takes such good care of our family, which includes me and his cat brother, Bean. Chief is a gentle giant. He's a big mutt, but is the sweetest animal who loves to be around people. He also LOVES ball. Nothing makes him happier than fetch or a good bone. Chief is a goofball, loves to play fetch, and loves to nap. He also likes to play with his brother, Bean, but I don't know he'd ever admit it. He loves a good bone and staring out the window, watching the birds. But mostly, Chief is the one who helped me heal. Now I want to repay the favor. Chief started getting crust and discharge around his eye, and I discovered a mass under his eyelid. His vet said as long as it didn't grow and didn't bother him, all would be ok. However, recently it has been growing quickly. We were referred to a veterinary ophthalmologist who recommends surgical removal and sending the mass to a pathologist. She also believes Chief has Horner's Syndrome. The estimate for Chief's removal surgery is $2,000-$2,225 depending on how long he needs to be under anesthesia. Additionally, the ophthalmologist has said due to his Horner's Syndrome, he needs additional examination to identify the underlying issue.
Bug

Bug came into my life during my most turbulent years. I had just escaped my childhood home & moved to a new town. I could barely afford rent, & had no furniture outside of an air mattress. I knew I needed to learn to trust & to love unconditionally. Bug had been at the shelter longest. I swore to her as I made the decision in front of her cage that she would be my forever kitty. Bug has always been queen of whatever roost she is placed in. She has moved to many homes, apartments, towns, & even states with me. She recently flew with me on a trip so I could continue to care for her. Bug commands respect from dogs & radiates a confidence that changes the minds of even those who do not, as a rule, like cats. We watch over each other. When I had no human to talk to, I talked to Bug. And as a result, she has learned to respond. She is now a talker, & expresses her moods to the people around her, because she know she deserves to be heard. She has transformed from a sedentary fearful malnourished thing, to a radiant, confident personality. Our growth over the years has been synchronous & a joy to be a part of. By all analysis done so far, Bug is a healthy 4 year old, despite having been with me since 2012. There is one small problem: A very treatable cancer that has caused swelling around her spine. She has been scanned up & down, had imaging, urinalysis, full blood panels, & more. Her radiation treatment is expensive but the results are promising. Diagnostics to obtain this diagnosis & vet visits, have run me, so far, $7565.51 The treatment plan in total after diagnostics is $8784.50 I don't earn enough to upkeep with basic costs of living & the payments required to complete the treatment. But Bug deserves better.

His family left him behind after they moved out--abandoned and left to fend for himself in a Russian danger zone during a brutal winter with temperatures -20C and below. One day, searching for food, he collapsed on train tracks. He was so weak he was unable to escape the impending danger. A train crushed his leg, and for ten agonizing days, he dragged it around until his leg finally detached on its own. The excruciating pain he endured is beyond imagination. "Many people saw Baden crying in pain and desperately trying to survive, but only one compassionate soul captured his struggle on video, and that footage led us to Baden," says Irina V. with Big Little Life Animal Rescue. The nonprofit group helps save animals in post-Soviet Russian countries. "We found him gathering the last of his strength, crawling up the stairs of an abandoned building towards his deserted apartment," Irina tells Waggle. The group rushed Baden to an animal hospital, where he needed emergency surgery to amputate the rest of his leg and tail. He has a tough recovery ahead of him, as healing his battered body and exhausted mind will take time. Please give to help this poor senior boy!

The structure connects New Jersey and New York City. It's the world's busiest motor vehicle bridge. A veterinary technician spotted Cori, undertook a brave rescue to save her, and rushed the kitten to the animal hospital. When Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge heard about Cori's brush with death and daring rescue, they immediately offered to help. "We suspect this little gal may have been bundled up inside a car engine," Amy H., with the nonprofit group, tells Waggle. X-rays revealed Cori's front leg is shattered, and she needs urgent surgery and hospitalization. "Despite her suffering and fear, Cori purrs and is so grateful to be safe and warm," Amy says. "We don't know where Cori came from or how her leg was shattered, but we know she needs us." Please give to help Cori the promise of a bright future!
