Cheddar
Help this sweet kitten's leg heal.
Grandview, TN • Flying Pigs Sanctuary
Flying Pig Sanctuary recently rescued a tiny orange kitten who limping and had a badly swollen leg. They feared the worst and rushed him to the vet, worried he had suffered a broken leg. Thankfully, X-rays brought good news—his leg wasn't broken. Instead, the swelling was most likely caused by one of his feral siblings playing a little too rough but leaving a painful bite. Cheddar may have started life as a frightened feral kitten, but today he's become the sweetest little boy and is receiving treatment to heal his leg. They never take chances when it comes to their animals, and they're so grateful they were able to get him the care he needed immediately. His veterinary visit cost was $187.50. If you'd like to help cover Cheddar's medical expenses so Flying Pigs Sanctuary can continue saying "yes" to kittens and animals in need, any donation—big or small—would mean the world. Thank you for helping us give sweet cats like Cheddar the second chance they deserve. 7/22/26 Update Thank you for helping to cover Cheddar's medical bills. Thanks to you, Cheddar is well on his way to recovery and finding his forever home. Because of you, Flying Pigs Sanctuary is able to keep rescuing animals in need.

Purple
Someone Left Purple to Suffer — You Can Help Rewrite His Story
Austin, TX • ACF Animal Rescue USA
Purple is a tiny senior dog whose body tells the story of years of neglect, fear, and unimaginable suffering. When we first heard about him, we were told there was a small dog lying in the street who could no longer walk. Witnesses said someone had been dragging him until another compassionate person finally stepped in and rescued him. We do not know where Purple came from or how he ended up in such heartbreaking condition. We suspect he may once have been someone’s pet, possibly even stolen at some point in his life, but now he is an elderly little soul who has clearly endured far more pain than any dog ever should. When Purple arrived, he was in devastating shape. His pelvic bone was protruding, his hind legs were paralyzed, and he was dangerously malnourished. His tiny body was covered in ticks, his fur was severely matted, and painful knots pulled tightly against his fragile skin. He was exhausted, limp, and terrified. And yet, even through all of that suffering, Purple still tried to protect himself. As our team approached him, he gave tiny growls and little barks, his wide eyes filled with fear. It was as if he wanted the world to believe he was still strong enough to defend himself, even though his body had already given up. Underneath that brave front was a helpless little dog who had likely learned that humans could not always be trusted. At the sanctuary, Purple experienced safety and comfort for the first time in what may have been years. He felt air conditioning. He rested on soft bedding. But he was so shut down and frightened that he would not eat or drink during his first night with us. Then something beautiful happened. The next morning, Purple slowly began to let his guard down. He accepted a little icy cold yogurt and some water. Little by little, he started trusting us enough to let us groom him and shave away the painful mats that had covered his body for so long. He still growls when we try to trim his overgrown nails, but every day we see more of the sweet little dog hidden underneath all that fear. Purple is beginning to understand that he no longer has to fight to survive. For the first time in a very long time, he has a full belly, a safe place to sleep, and people who will not hurt him. Now Purple urgently needs continued medical care, diagnostics, pain management, rehabilitation support, and daily treatment as we work to determine the extent of his paralysis and give him the best possible quality of life. After everything Purple has endured, we want the rest of his life to finally be filled with comfort, love, and dignity. Please donate today to help us continue Purple’s care and show this tiny survivor that his life matters. 6/7/26 Update Purple is still incredibly fragile. Some days bring small victories—a little more interest in food, a brighter expression, or a moment where he seems more comfortable. Other days are much harder. His condition remains delicate, and there are times when we worry about what tomorrow may bring. What we do know is that Purple is surrounded by love. He is warm, safe, and receiving the care he desperately needs. Our team continues to monitor him closely, manage his pain, and provide supportive care while giving him every possible chance to recover and find some strength. We won't pretend this journey is easy. Purple's age, paralysis, and overall condition make every day a challenge. But we are not giving up on him. Every meal he eats, every comfortable nap, and every gentle touch reminds us why his fight matters. After everything he has endured, Purple deserves the opportunity to experience kindness, comfort, and dignity for however much time he has ahead of him. Please continue to keep Purple in your thoughts. Your donations and support are helping us provide the ongoing medical care and daily attention he needs during this critical time. Purple still has a long road ahead, and his care continues to add up every day. If you are able, please consider making a donation to help cover his medical treatment, pain management, rehabilitation support, medications, and daily care. No gift is too small. Every dollar helps us continue fighting for this brave little dog and gives him the best possible chance to keep moving forward. Donate today and help us show Purple that his life is worth fighting for. 💜 6/20/26 Update We wanted to share a brief update on our brave little Purple. At this time, his condition remains touch and go. Some days bring small signs of progress, while others remind us just how fragile he still is. Our team continues to monitor him closely and provide the supportive care, comfort, and love he needs every step of the way. While we don't have all the answers yet, we do know that Purple is safe, surrounded by people who care deeply about him, and receiving everything we can offer to help him heal. We are taking things one day at a time and celebrating every small victory along the way. Please continue to keep Purple in your thoughts. We are all rooting for this resilient little fighter and hoping for brighter days ahead. Thank you for standing with Purple and helping us give him the compassion and care he deserves. 7/21/26 Update It is with broken hearts that we share that our sweet Purple has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Despite every effort to save him, Purple's tiny body had endured far too much before he was rescued. He was severely malnourished, anemic, and suffering from multiple serious medical conditions, including a severe tick-borne illness. Although he received around-the-clock veterinary care, pain management, nutritious meals, and endless love, his little body simply did not have the strength to overcome everything he was facing. While this is not the outcome we had all hoped for, we take comfort in knowing that Purple's final days were nothing like the life he had known before. When Purple was found, he was lying helpless in the street, unable to walk and terrified of the world around him. He had likely been suffering alone for a very long time. But because of your compassion, he experienced something every animal deserves before he passed—kindness. His painful mats were gently removed, his hunger was eased, and he was surrounded by people who spoke to him with love and treated him with the dignity he had always deserved. Most importantly, Purple did not leave this world alone. Although we wish we could have given him many more happy years, we are grateful that we were able to give him peace, comfort, and unconditional love during the final chapter of his life. Sometimes rescue is not about changing the ending—it is about changing the story before the ending arrives. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every person who donated, shared Purple's fundraiser, sent encouraging messages, or kept him in your thoughts. Your generosity made it possible for us to provide him with compassionate medical care and ensure that his final days were filled with comfort instead of suffering. Purple's journey touched so many lives, and he will never be forgotten. Run free, sweet Purple. You were deeply loved.

Hades
Hades is a 1.6 year old American Shorthair in Rayne, LA, who needs $200 for Ultrasound, Radiograph, and Meds for Pregnancy.
Rayne, LA
Hades was born October 28th 2024 on the carport doorstep to an outdoor momma cat we were caring for. Mom stopped caring for her at 5 weeks so took on the her as well as her siblings. Hades was not happy indoors so she became and indoor/outdoor cat. Some time after Hades came back after disappearing for a little while we noticed wounds on her back and belly. We thought she might be pregnant but she had just eaten and was back to flat days later. 2 or 3 weeks ago she seemed pregnant again. She gave birth to 2 kittens 07/16 that didn't make it. 30-45 minutes later she vomited with blood present an had to wait til morning to get her to Vet. Hades has been with us since birth and even as an outside cat she still loves and trusts us like a lap cat. We have lost so much between Family Emergencies and Family Deaths...loss of a cat very important to my absolute soul. I can't imagine leaving her chances to whatever happens. I had cherry pay, they said I'd be able to use it if I brought it current. Not so much. I had a gift of 250 towards her care and now I only have 100.00 left because I caught my Cherry Pay up to be able to use it only to find out I can't because my approval expired. We're finally getting caught up after a Family Death rocked our worlds. Unpaid LOA sucks.

Dixie
Dixie needed a second chance.
Grandview, TN • Flying Pigs Sanctuary
When sweet senior terrier Dixie suddenly stopped feeling like herself, her family knew something was wrong. She lost her appetite, developed severe diarrhea, and just wasn't the happy little dog they knew and loved. After an initial veterinary visit, they were told her symptoms were likely related to neck pain. But something didn't feel right. Trusting their instincts, they sought a second opinion—and we're so grateful they did. Flying Pigs Sanctuary veterinarian discovered two tumors in Dixie's mammary glands and found that she was in desperate need of a dental procedure. The answers they had been searching for were finally found. As part of their community outreach program, Flying Pigs Animal Sanctuary helps families facing overwhelming veterinary costs. After already spending money on a visit that didn't uncover the real problem, Dixie's family was struggling to afford the treatment she desperately needed. They stepped in to cover the cost of her surgery to remove the tumors and give her the dental care she needed. Every donation goes towards covering Dixie's medical care. If you'd like to help Flying Pigs Sanctuary continue providing her the best care and support, please consideration making a donation of any size today. Together, we're giving animals like Dixie the second chance they deserve 7/17/26 Update Thanks to all of you, Dixie is doing fantastic! Huntington, WV
Blanca has been my best friend for years and is a cherished member of my family. She lives with me and is deeply loved. She has always been loyal, loving, and by my side through everything. Now she is sick again with what appears to be a bladder or kidney issue and needs additional testing and treatment. I’m asking for help so she can get the care she needs. Blanca is the sweetest, most loyal dog and a true member of my family. She loves being close to me, follows me everywhere, and always knows how to make me smile. Her unconditional love has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life, and I can’t imagine life without her. A few months ago I went into debt to save Blanca’s life. Now she needs emergency care again, and I can’t afford another unexpected vet bill. Your support will help her get the treatment she needs and give us more time together.

Riley
Can Riley Still See? Help Us Get Him the Care He Needs
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Meet Riley, a sweet senior cat who recently arrived at the shelter carrying a heartbreaking mystery in his eyes. From the moment Riley came in, it was clear something was wrong. Both of his eyes appear extremely cloudy and his pupils were very dilated raising serious concerns about his vision and overall eye health. Despite whatever he may be experiencing, Riley has remained gentle, calm, and trusting — a quiet senior boy simply hoping for comfort and care. Right now, Riley urgently needs to see a veterinary ophthalmologist to determine exactly what is causing the condition in his eyes. The specialist evaluation will help us understand whether Riley is partially blind, fully blind, experiencing pain, or suffering from a condition that may still be treatable. We are also hoping to learn whether any medications, procedures, or ongoing care could improve his comfort or preserve what vision he may still have. Senior cats are so often overlooked, especially those with medical needs, but Riley deserves answers and compassionate care just as much as any other animal. Without this specialized appointment, we cannot know the extent of his condition or what treatment options may be available to help him. We are raising funds to cover Riley’s ophthalmology consultation, diagnostic testing, and any immediate treatment recommendations needed to help improve his quality of life. Please consider donating to help Riley get the specialized care he urgently needs. Every donation brings this deserving senior boy one step closer to comfort, answers, and the chance for a better future. 7/16/26 Update We have wonderful news to share about sweet Riley! Thanks to your incredible generosity, Riley was able to see a veterinary ophthalmologist and finally get the answers he needed. The specialist discovered that Riley had dangerously elevated pressure in his eyes and prescribed medicated eye drops to help manage the condition. We're happy to report that since starting his medication, Riley's eye pressure has gone down significantly! While Riley has unfortunately lost his vision and will need to remain on eye drops for the rest of his life, he is comfortable, happy, and thriving. The most amazing thing about Riley is that blindness doesn't define him. He has adapted incredibly well to his surroundings, confidently making his way around, jumping on and off furniture, and even playing with his favorite toys. Most of all, Riley absolutely loves people. The moment he hears someone nearby, he perks up, eager for pets, affection, and companionship. Your support gave Riley far more than a specialist appointment—it gave him comfort, proper medical care, and the opportunity to continue enjoying life despite his vision loss. From all of us, and especially from Riley, thank you for making this possible. Your kindness has given this deserving senior boy the chance to live a happy, comfortable life filled with love.

Cinnamon Twist (Cindy)
From Taco Bell Parking Lot to a Second Chance: Help Cindy Heal
Huntington, WV • Bernies Buddies Rescue And Advocates
Cindy never should have been living in a fast-food parking lot. She spent days wandering the Taco Bell parking lot, relying on the kindness of employees who made sure she had food while desperately trying to find her family. They posted about her, knocked on doors, and asked around, hoping someone would come for the sweet grey tabby who happily greeted anyone willing to stop and pet her. But no one ever did. One of our incredible high school volunteers, who happened to work there, couldn't bear to leave her behind. When nearby businesses and homeowners began complaining about Cindy's presence, he reached out to Bernie's Buddies Rescue and Advocates for help. When we arrived, it quickly became clear that Cindy needed far more than a safe place to sleep. Her mammary glands were swollen, hard, and painfully hot to the touch. After searching the entire area—including under cars, around dumpsters, through bushes, abandoned homes, and neighboring properties—we found no sign of kittens. Her milk had already dried up, leading us to believe she is suffering from a painful case of mastitis that has gone untreated. She has a veterinary appointment this week to confirm the diagnosis and begin treatment. Sadly, that's not all. Cindy has patches of missing fur, a painful-looking lesion on her chin, and concerning issues inside her mouth that will also need to be evaluated. Despite everything she's been through, she remains incredibly affectionate, gently leaning into every hand that reaches out to comfort her. It's hard to imagine this loving girl wasn't once someone's cherished indoor companion. Now, we're determined to give Cindy the fresh start she deserves. Your support will help cover her complete veterinary care, including: \\\\- Treatment for her suspected mastitis - A full medical examination and diagnostics - Spay surgery - Feline leukemia (FeLV) and FIV testing - Vaccinations - Deworming - Flea prevention - Treatment for her skin and oral conditions Cindy has already survived being abandoned and trying to fend for herself in a busy parking lot. She shouldn't have to fight through pain alone, too. Please consider making a donation today. Every gift, no matter the size, helps Bernie's Buddies Rescue and Advocates give Cindy the medical care she urgently needs and the chance to leave her parking lot days behind forever. Thank you for helping this sweet girl trade asphalt and uncertainty for comfort, healing, and the loving home she deserves. 7/14/26 Update: Cinnamon Twist - Cindy had her surgery today! Cindy was spayed on Tuesday. We discovered that what we initially thought was mastitis ended up being mammary hyperplasia. Cindy did well during her procedure and is currently on cage rest and medications. Her swelling is going down, and she is eating normally. We will continue to monitor her; she has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been started on vaccines. We can not wait to see her personality come through once she is all healed up. Thank you so much for helping get this sweet girl on the road to recovery.

Buddy
Friendly Buddy Was Left to Suffer — Help Him Heal
Coconut Creek, FL • Pumpkin’s Rescue Club
Meet Buddy, a sweet seven-year-old boy who still believes in kindness, even after being left behind. The team at Pumpkin's Rescue Club believes Buddy may have been abandoned because of how friendly he is. When they found him, he was severely malnourished and suffering from mange — but despite everything, he greeted his rescuers with trust instead of fear. He was so ready to be helped that they were able to simply pick him up and place him in a carrier. No struggle, no resistance — just relief. At the veterinary clinic, Buddy calmly accepted a medical bath without a fight. Even after all he’s endured, he remains incredibly sociable, gentle, and just a little shy. He’s truly a sweetheart who clearly wants nothing more than love and comfort. Now that Buddy is safe, he needs a thorough medical evaluation to ensure he can move forward into a healthy future. As a senior-leaning cat, he requires blood work to check his overall health, treatment for his skin, and a full exam to determine whether he needs dental care. These important steps will help him recover fully and prepare him for the loving life he deserves. Buddy has already shown so much resilience. After being abandoned, malnourished, and battling painful skin issues, he’s still trusting, still affectionate, and still hopeful. 💛 Your donation will help cover Buddy’s senior blood work and medical care 🐾 Your support will help treat his mange and improve his comfort 🏡 Your generosity brings him closer to a safe, loving future Buddy didn’t give up on people — and now we can show him he was right not to. Every dollar helps this gentle old soul continue his journey from abandonment to healing. 4/23/26 Update We have some really wonderful news to share about Buddy! He recently had his full lab work completed, and we’re so relieved to report that everything came back looking good. Even better—Buddy does not need a dental procedure, which is such a huge win for this sweet boy and helps keep his recovery a little easier on him. Buddy is still being treated for his mange, but the improvement has been incredible. His skin is healing, he’s becoming more comfortable each day, and you can truly see the difference in how he feels. The discomfort he once lived with is slowly being replaced with relief. And through it all, Buddy continues to be exactly who he’s always been—gentle, trusting, and full of quiet love. Your support is what made this progress possible. Because of you, Buddy is getting the care he needs and the chance to fully heal. We’re not at the finish line just yet, but he is well on his way—and we couldn’t be more grateful to have you alongside him on this journey. 5/4/26 Update Buddy is settling into his foster home and slowly beginning this new chapter of his life. While he is still a bit cautious and not yet a fan of being picked up, we can already see such an incredible difference in him. He looks healthier, stronger, and so much more comfortable than the fragile boy we first rescued. His body is healing, but now we are focusing on something just as important — helping Buddy feel fully safe around people again. After everything he has been through, it’s understandable that he needs time. We are giving him the patience, love, and gentle reassurance he deserves so he can continue building confidence and learning that he will never be abandoned again. Each day brings a little more progress, and once Buddy is more comfortable and secure, we will begin the search for the forever home this sweet boy has always deserved. Buddy’s medical care, foster support, and continued treatment are only possible because of compassionate donors like you. Please consider making a donation today to help us continue giving Buddy the time, care, and healing he needs to fully thrive. Thank you for being part of Buddy’s second chance. 7/15/26 Update It is with heavy hearts that we share that Buddy has sadly passed away. After everything he had endured before coming into our care, Buddy finally experienced something every animal deserves—kindness, safety, and love. In his foster home, he began to heal, growing stronger each day and slowly learning to trust again. While he was still timid and preferred to keep all four paws on the ground, we watched him become healthier, more comfortable, and more at peace than when he first arrived. We had hoped Buddy's story would end with a forever family of his own. Instead, we are grateful that his final chapter was one filled with compassion rather than fear. He knew gentle hands, a warm bed, regular meals, and people who cared deeply about his wellbeing. Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Buddy was never alone. He was cherished every step of the way, and because of your generosity, he received the medical care, foster support, and love he deserved during his time with us. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared his story, and kept Buddy in your thoughts. Your kindness gave him comfort, dignity, and the chance to know he mattered. Run free, sweet Buddy. You were deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten.

She doesn’t ask for much — just warmth, affection, and the chance to be close to her people. She is the definition of the perfect lap cat. But behind her sweet personality is a frightening diagnosis. Kristi has been found to have a heart murmur, and she urgently needs an echocardiogram to determine what’s happening inside her tiny heart and what treatment she may need. This specialized imaging is the only way veterinarians can understand the severity of her condition and create a plan to help her live a long, comfortable life. Without this critical test, Kristi’s future is uncertain. In fact, without answers, she may be placed into hospice care — not because she’s ready to give up, but because we simply don’t know how to help her yet. That’s a heartbreaking reality for a kitten who is otherwise full of love and life. Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation is determined to give Kristi a fighting chance. She deserves to grow up, to continue warming laps, to purr through cozy afternoons, and to experience the happy life every kitten should have. But we can’t do it without your support. After undergoing further evaluation, Kristi was confirmed to have a Grade 5/6 heart murmur. While this is a significant finding and her heart will need ongoing monitoring, we're happy to report that Kristi is feeling great and continues to enjoy life to the fullest. She is currently thriving in her foster home, where her affectionate personality shines every single day.
