Phoebe Survived the Streets—Now She Needs Emergency Care to Heal

Maryland, MD • Paws & Claws Animal Welfare Society Inc.

Phoebe should have been safe at home, loved and protected. Instead, this gorgeous, fluffy kitten with her unique coloring was abandoned and left to fend for herself on the streets of Egypt. Alone and vulnerable, she faced dangers no kitten should ever have to endure. Life on the streets is incredibly difficult for homeless cats, and sadly, cruelty toward them is all too common. Phoebe became the victim of a horrific act when someone poured acid on her, leaving her with painful burns and devastating injuries. Terrified, suffering, and in desperate need of help, she likely would not have survived much longer on her own. Thankfully, a compassionate woman who regularly feeds stray cats noticed that something was terribly wrong. She immediately reached out to Paws & Claws Animal Welfare Inc., and despite the late hour, we knew we had to act fast. At 2:00 a.m., Phoebe was rushed to an emergency veterinary hospital where she is now receiving lifesaving care. Her medical team is working to manage her pain, clean and treat her wounds, prevent infection, and carefully monitor her condition. Because burn injuries can worsen over time, Phoebe will remain hospitalized until veterinarians determine that she is stable enough to continue her recovery under our care. While we are relieved that Phoebe is finally safe, her journey is only beginning. Emergency hospitalization, medications, wound care, diagnostics, and ongoing treatment are expensive, but this sweet kitten deserves every chance to heal and experience the loving life she was denied. Paws & Claws Animal Welfare Inc. could not turn away from Phoebe's suffering, but we cannot do this alone. Please consider making a donation toward Phoebe's medical care. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help provide the treatment she needs to recover from this unimaginable cruelty. Together, we can show Phoebe that not all humans are capable of harm—that many are capable of kindness, compassion, and love. 7/7/26 Update We wanted to share an update on our brave little fighter, Phoebe. Recovery has not been easy for this sweet kitten. During her hospitalization, Phoebe developed panleukopenia, a serious and highly contagious viral disease that can be life-threatening, especially for young kittens. It was a heartbreaking setback just as she was beginning to recover from the horrific acid burns she suffered. Thankfully, Phoebe is proving just how resilient she is. She remains hospitalized, where the veterinary team continues to provide around-the-clock treatment, supportive care, and careful monitoring. We are happy to report that Phoebe is eating well, and her bright little personality is slowly beginning to shine through again. She is becoming more alert, perking up a little more each day, and giving us hope that she is heading in the right direction. While these are encouraging signs, Phoebe still has a long road ahead. She will need to remain in the hospital until her medical team is confident she is strong enough to continue her recovery safely. Between her burn injuries and her battle with panleukopenia, she continues to require intensive veterinary care. We are so grateful to everyone who has donated, shared her story, and kept Phoebe in your thoughts. Your compassion is giving this precious kitten the chance to heal from unimaginable cruelty and experience the love and care she has always deserved. Please donate and share her campaign as the costs are climbing as she stays in the hospital. 7/12/26 Update Phoebe continues to receive dedicated care from our veterinary team as she recovers from the unimaginable injuries she suffered before her rescue. While her healing journey has been challenging, she continues to show us just how resilient she is. Every day, she grows a little stronger, and we remain hopeful as she continues making progress. Her team is closely monitoring her condition, providing ongoing wound care, medications, nutritional support, and everything she needs to help her body heal. Recovery from injuries like Phoebe's takes time, patience, and continued veterinary attention, but she is surrounded by people who are committed to giving her every chance at a happy, healthy future. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated, shared her story, and kept Phoebe in their thoughts. Your kindness has already made a tremendous difference, allowing us to provide the lifesaving treatment and compassionate care she deserves. As Phoebe continues her recovery, her medical expenses continue to grow. If you're able, please consider making a donation to help cover her ongoing hospitalization, medications, follow-up care, and treatment. Every gift, no matter the size, helps ensure Phoebe receives the care she needs while also allowing us to continue rescuing other animals facing unimaginable circumstances. Thank you for believing in Phoebe and helping turn her story from one of unimaginable cruelty into one of hope, healing, and love. 7/28/26 Update We are so happy to share another wonderful update on our sweet girl, Phoebe. When Phoebe first came into our care, she had endured unimaginable cruelty. Abandoned on the streets and suffering from severe acid burns, she was fighting for her life. As if that wasn't enough, she developed panleukopenia during her hospitalization, creating yet another obstacle on her long road to recovery. Today, we're thrilled to say that Phoebe has come so far. She is doing very well and has an excellent appetite, eagerly eating her meals and growing stronger each day. Seeing her enjoy food and regain her energy is a huge milestone and a testament to her incredible resilience. Phoebe is still receiving treatment as she continues to heal. Her burn wounds are improving nicely, and she remains on topical medications to help them heal properly. She is also receiving injections to treat her anemia, along with antibiotics to eliminate the blood parasites that were discovered during her recovery. While she still has some healing ahead of her, her veterinary team is very pleased with the progress she continues to make. Looking back at where Phoebe started, her transformation has been nothing short of remarkable. Thanks to the compassionate veterinary team and the incredible generosity of supporters like you, this little kitten has gone from fighting for her life to looking forward to a future filled with hope. From everyone at Paws & Claws Animal Welfare Inc., thank you for standing beside Phoebe throughout her journey. Your donations, shares, and words of encouragement made it possible for her to receive the lifesaving care she desperately needed. Because of your kindness, Phoebe was given the chance to heal—not only from her physical injuries, but from the cruelty she experienced. She now has the opportunity to grow into the happy, healthy cat she was always meant to be. Thank you for believing in Phoebe and for making her second chance possible.

Sweet Solo Needs Veterinary Care After Being Saved Just in Time

West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation

Meet Solo, a sweet and affectionate cat who narrowly escaped losing his life at the county municipal shelter. Solo found himself on the euthanasia list simply because the shelter was overcrowded and resources were limited. But while staff were evaluating him, it was clear that Solo was also dealing with a painful injury. He has a bite wound on his front leg — likely caused by a dog attack — and the surrounding tissue is swollen and inflamed. Although he began treatment while still at the shelter, he urgently needed rescue and continued veterinary care. Now safe with us at Adopt a Cat Foundation, Solo will be seeing our regular veterinarian for follow-up care to assess the extent of the injury, manage infection and pain, and determine whether additional treatment or diagnostics will be needed. At this time, Solo is barely putting weight on the injured leg, suggesting he may be in significant discomfort. Despite everything he has been through, Solo remains incredibly loving and gentle. He seeks affection, enjoys attention, and shows nothing but trust toward the people trying to help him. It is heartbreaking to imagine such a kind cat sitting alone on a euthanasia list while also suffering from an untreated injury. We are raising funds to help cover Solo’s veterinary care, medications, examinations, diagnostics, and continued treatment as he begins his recovery journey. Please consider donating to help Solo heal. Every contribution gives this deserving boy a chance to recover from his injuries and finally experience the safety and love he has always deserved. 6/7/26 Update Solo is doing so much better. His leg has continued to heal, and he is now putting weight on it and moving around much more comfortably. While he still has some healing to do, the improvement has been remarkable, and we are thrilled with the progress he has made. Even more amazing than his physical recovery is Solo's personality. This handsome boy has completely stolen the hearts of our volunteers. He is an absolute love bug who can't get enough attention. The moment someone stops by his space, Solo melts into their hands for pets, rolls around happily, and eagerly offers his belly for rubs. Despite everything he has been through, he remains incredibly trusting, affectionate, and grateful for every bit of love he receives. Watching Solo transform from an injured cat sitting on a euthanasia list into a happy, playful, attention-seeking sweetheart has been such a joy. The best news of all? Solo is almost ready for adoption! Soon, this deserving boy will be looking for the forever family he has always deserved—a family that will cherish his sweet nature and spoil him with all the belly rubs and affection he loves. While Solo's recovery is progressing beautifully, we are still working to cover the costs of his veterinary care and the many other cats who depend on us for a second chance. If you would like to help Solo cross the finish line and support future lifesaving rescues, please consider making a donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide medical care, shelter, and hope to cats who have nowhere else to turn. 7/28/26 Update Because of your incredible support, Solo's story has become everything we hoped it would be. When Solo first arrived at Adopt a Cat Foundation, he had just escaped euthanasia at an overcrowded municipal shelter. He was frightened, injured, and suffering from a painful bite wound on his front leg that made it difficult for him to walk. Yet even through the pain, he never stopped showing everyone just how loving and affectionate he truly was. Thanks to the compassionate care he received and the generosity of supporters like you, Solo's leg has healed beautifully. He regained his strength, his playful spirit returned, and his sweet personality quickly won over everyone he met. And now we have the news we've all been waiting for... Solo is being adopted this week! After everything he has endured, this incredible boy is finally getting the forever home he has always deserved. He'll soon be leaving behind shelter life for a future filled with love, cozy places to nap, plenty of belly rubs, and a family who will cherish him every single day. Stories like Solo's are only possible because of people like you. Your donations helped provide the veterinary care he needed to recover from his injuries and gave him the opportunity to become healthy enough to find his perfect family. From all of us at Adopt a Cat Foundation, thank you for believing in Solo and giving him the second chance every animal deserves. While this chapter is ending with a wonderful new beginning, there are still many cats waiting for their own chance at a happy ending. Thank you for making Solo's forever home possible.

From a Dangerous Highway to a Safe New Beginning

Maryland, MD • Paws & Claws Animal Welfare Society Inc.

Life on the side of a busy desert highway is no place for a cat. Paws & Claws Animal Welfare Society received an urgent call about cats struggling to survive along a heavily trafficked roadway in an area known not only for speeding vehicles but also for high crime. Every day they remained there, they faced the constant threat of being struck by cars, injured, or worse. The rescue team acted quickly to safely trap the two cats before tragedy could strike. Once in their care, the cats received essential veterinary treatment, including neuter surgery and vaccinations, giving them a healthier future while preventing even more homeless kittens from being born into dangerous conditions. Instead of returning them to the hazardous location where they were found, the cats were relocated to a safe property with a dedicated caregiver who will provide food, fresh water, shelter, and ongoing monitoring for the rest of their lives. These cats now have the chance to live peacefully because someone chose to help. Your donation will help cover the cost of their spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and veterinary care, while allowing Paws & Claws Animal Welfare Society to continue rescuing vulnerable cats from dangerous situations. Every contribution helps create another happy ending for cats who have nowhere else to turn. 7/28/26 Update Because of your incredible compassion, these two cats have been given the second chance they so desperately needed. What began as an urgent rescue along a dangerous desert highway has become a story of hope. After being safely trapped, both cats received their veterinary care, including their spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations, and have now been successfully relocated to a safe property where a dedicated caregiver will provide them with food, fresh water, shelter, and ongoing care for the rest of their lives. Instead of dodging speeding traffic and struggling to survive in an area known for both dangerous roads and high crime, they can now live in safety and peace. Their future looks completely different because of the kindness of people like you. From everyone at Paws & Claws Animal Welfare Society, thank you for making this rescue possible. Your generosity helped cover the cost of their medical care and relocation, while also allowing us to continue responding when other vulnerable animals are found in life-threatening situations. Every rescued animal represents a life changed forever, and these two cats are living proof of what we can accomplish together. Thank you for being part of their journey and for giving them the safe, secure future they deserve.

Bella Marie

At 16 Years Old, Bella Marie Deserves Comfort, Not Pain

Jensen Beach, FL • Cobie's Cottage, Inc.

At 16 years old, Bella Marie should be spending her golden years surrounded by comfort, love, and security. Instead, she was found alone and brought to animal control as a stray. When Cobie's Cottage was contacted about Bella Marie, shelter staff described a heartbreaking situation: a geriatric dog who was underweight, severely matted, suffering from advanced dental disease, significant cataracts, and possible difficulty defecating. Because of her condition, she was only eligible for rescue placement. When Bella Marie arrived at Cobie's Cottage, the extent of her neglect became even more apparent. Although she had been partially shaved, severe matting remained between her toes, and her feet were soaked with urine. She was weak, shaky, and clearly in need of medical attention and compassionate care. Despite everything she has endured, Bella Marie's gentle spirit continues to shine. Over the past two weeks, she has begun settling into rescue life. She is receiving proper nutrition, gaining strength, and enjoying the simple comforts she may not have known for a very long time: leisurely strolls outside, a soft orthopedic bed of her own, and plenty of affection from the people caring for her. But Bella Marie's journey is far from over. She still needs a full medical workup, including bloodwork, treatment for a skin infection, prescription eye medication for dry eye, and a comprehensive dental procedure to address the severe dental disease that is likely causing pain and discomfort every day. The estimated cost of Bella's medical care is $1,200. Your donation will help provide the diagnostics, medications, and treatment Bella Marie needs to be comfortable, healthy, and pain-free during her senior years. After everything she has been through, Bella Marie deserves the chance to spend the rest of her life surrounded by kindness and care. Thank you for helping Cobie's Cottage give this sweet senior girl the second chance she deserves. 6/24/26 Update: Dental Surgery Ahead for Bella Marie Bella Marie has reached an important milestone in her recovery journey. She recently completed the bloodwork needed to prepare for her dental surgery. Unfortunately, her dental disease is quite severe. Her veterinary team expects that she will need multiple tooth extractions, and there is a possibility that all of her remaining teeth may need to be removed to relieve her pain and improve her quality of life. Despite the challenges she has faced, Bella Marie continues to make progress. With proper nutrition, loving care, and a safe place to rest, she has been slowly regaining her strength. She even enjoyed a much-deserved bath this week and continues to show everyone what a sweet and gentle senior girl she is. While Bella Marie is moving in the right direction, her medical journey is not over. Donations will help cover her dental procedure, ongoing veterinary care, medications, and the support she needs as she continues to heal. Thank you for helping Cobie's Cottage give Bella Marie the comfort, care, and second chance she deserves. 7/8/26 Update: Sweet Senior Bella Marie Is Recovering After Surgery At 16 years old, Bella Marie is a senior girl who is still very much worth fighting for. When she arrived at Cobie's Cottage, she needed the dental care and medical attention necessary to help her feel more comfortable and improve her quality of life. Bella Marie did wonderfully after her dental surgery, and we are so grateful for her progress. Considering her age and the condition she was found in, her veterinary team was pleasantly surprised that they were able to save some of her teeth, wonderful news for this sweet girl. Bella Marie is continuing to heal while receiving the love, attention, and care she needs from Cobie's Cottage. Donations are still helping cover the costs of her dental surgery, diagnostics, and ongoing medical care, ensuring Bella Marie can continue receiving the support she deserves. Thank you for supporting Bella Marie and helping this deserving senior girl on her journey toward a more comfortable and happy life. 7/15/26 Update: Bella Marie the Senior Queen Bella Marie continues to make progress following her dental surgery. This sweet senior girl is healing well, and her recent bloodwork looked great! She is enjoying regular meals and showing more comfort as she continues to adjust to the care and support she receives at Cobie's Cottage. After everything Bella Marie has endured, seeing her become more comfortable is a meaningful step forward. Her medical care has helped address the painful dental disease she arrived with, giving her the opportunity to continue enjoying her senior years with the comfort and attention she deserves. Thank you for continuing to support Bella Marie's journey. Your generosity is helping provide the veterinary care, treatment, and ongoing support needed as she continues healing. Additional updates on Bella Marie's progress will be shared as she moves forward in her recovery. 7/27/26 Update: Bella Marie Has a Happy Ending! Bella Marie has wonderful news to share, this sweet senior girl has a pending adoption! Even as a super senior, Bella Marie has captured the hearts of a wonderful family who already shares their home with other Shih Tzus. Soon, she'll have a loving family of her very own and the comfort, companionship, and security she deserves. When Bella Marie first arrived at Cobie's Cottage, she was underweight, matted, suffering from painful dental disease, and in need of extensive medical care. Thanks to the generosity of her supporters, her fundraiser was fully funded, ensuring she received the diagnostics, dental treatment, medications, and compassionate care she needed before finding her forever family. Bella Marie's journey is a beautiful reminder that senior pets are always worth loving and always deserve a second chance. Thank you for helping make Bella Marie's happy ending possible. Magnolia, TX • D&A Animal Rescue

This sweet boy was rescued from a heartbreaking situation, and now he urgently needs our help. When we found Theo, it was clear he had been suffering for a long time. His eyes are severely infected, painful, and in desperate need of medical treatment. We don’t know how long he has been living in this condition, but the neglect he endured is impossible to ignore. Despite everything, he remains gentle, trusting, and incredibly sweet. Right now, his biggest need is immediate veterinary care to treat his painful eye infection and determine the extent of the damage. In addition to emergency treatment for his eyes, he also needs full veterinary care, including vaccines, diagnostic testing, and heartworm testing to evaluate his overall health after prolonged neglect. We are committed to giving him the medical care, comfort, and second chance he deserves, but we cannot do it alone. The cost of urgent veterinary treatment is overwhelming, and we are asking for help to make sure this boy gets the care he desperately needs. Please consider donating toward his medical care today. Every dollar helps provide treatment, testing, medications, and the chance for a healthier future. If you are unable to donate, sharing his story could help save his life. Thanks to veterinary treatment and the support of donors, he is now comfortable and no longer dealing with that pain. While Theo is doing much better physically, he is still very shy and fearful of people. Thankfully, he now feels safe with our team and is beginning to settle into rescue life at his own pace. Theo still needs ongoing care, food, supplies, and veterinary support as he continues his journey toward a brighter future. If you're able, please consider making a donation to help us continue providing everything he needs. Every dollar makes a difference for Theo and the other animals depending on us. 6/7/26 Update When Theo first came into our care, he was suffering from severe eye infections caused by prolonged neglect. However, we are seeing encouraging signs every day. Theo now feels comfortable and safe with our team, and he has begun to trust that the people around him are there to care for and protect him. Watching him relax, settle in, and feel secure has been one of the most rewarding parts of his journey. A Painful Leg Shouldn't Define Her Future: Help Clover Walk Comfortably Again

Boiling Springs, SC • South Carolina Community Cat Project

Clover is a sweet kitten with a bright future ahead of her—but first, she needs help leaving her pain behind. Recently, Clover was diagnosed with severe radial nerve damage in one of her front legs. After thorough veterinary evaluation, it was determined that the damage is permanent. The affected leg is no longer functional and cannot be repaired. While this diagnosis is heartbreaking, there is hope. Veterinarians have determined that amputation is the best option for Clover's long-term comfort, mobility, and quality of life. The damaged leg is not helping her—it is causing ongoing challenges and preventing her from living the active, pain-free life she deserves. The good news is that cats are incredibly resilient. Many three-legged cats go on to live completely normal lives. They run, jump, climb, play, and enjoy life just like any other cat. Once they are no longer carrying a painful, non-functional limb, many actually become more active and comfortable than they were before surgery. That is the future we want for Clover. The South Carolina Community Cat Project is raising $500 to help cover the cost of Clover's amputation surgery, medications, and recovery care. As a rescue organization committed to helping cats in need, every dollar makes a difference and goes directly toward giving Clover the second chance she deserves. Clover has already faced more obstacles than any kitten should. Now she has an opportunity to move forward without pain and enjoy the happy life every cat deserves. Please consider making a donation today. If you're unable to donate, sharing Clover's story can help us reach more people who care. Together, we can help Clover take the next step toward a brighter, more comfortable future. 7/25/26 Update Clover has healed and now adopted! Thank you so much for your donations! We appreciate it!

A Gentle Giant Deserves Comfort Again

Huntington, WV • One by One Animal Advocates

For weeks, this dog survived alone on the streets of Kentucky. People would spot him, take photos, and post sightings on Facebook — but no one could get close enough to help him. This weekend, everything changed. After he was posted on a local community page, the Animal Control Officer and his wife went out determined not to give up. With patience, kindness, and turkey bacon, they finally lured him to safety. When he was finally caught, they weren’t even sure of his gender, age, or true size because of the severity of his matted coat. Shelter workers then spent the weekend patiently shaving off the dirty, tangled coat, revealing an emaciated male dog covered in ticks and sores. He was so gentle they named him Abe, and reached out to One By One for medical assistance. Severe matting like this causes constant pain and injury. It pulls tightly on the skin every moment, leading to deep irritation, open sores, infection, and extreme weakness from prolonged neglect. In some areas, it can become so tight it restricts circulation, adding further pain and damage to already fragile tissue. Every step of his recovery will take time, medical care, and compassion. Right now, he urgently needs: Blood work to evaluate his overall condition Testing for tick-borne illnesses and treatment if positive Flea/tick prevention and deworming Vaccines Ongoing medical care following shaving to treat wounds and parasites Frequent small meals and high-quality nutrition to safely regain strength At this time, he is too medically unstable for neuter surgery, but that will come later when his body is stronger. He survived weeks alone. Now he deserves the chance to heal safely, comfortably, and surrounded by care. If you would like to help be part of his recovery journey, donations toward his veterinary care would mean the world to him — and to us. 7/24/26 Update Thanks to this incredible community, Abe's journey has the happy ending we were all hoping for. When Abe was rescued after surviving alone on the streets, his future was uncertain. Beneath the heavy mats, he was painfully thin, covered in ticks and sores, and in desperate need of medical care. We believed that once his matted coat was removed and he began gaining weight, the hardest part of his recovery would be behind him. But Abe wasn't finished keeping us on our toes. His endlessly wagging "happy tail" turned into an unexpected medical challenge. After two emergency room visits, multiple veterinary appointments, and ultimately two separate tail amputation surgeries, Abe faced yet another hurdle with the same gentle spirit that won everyone's hearts from the very beginning. Today, we're thrilled to share the news we've all been waiting for. Abe had his sutures removed, his little tail nub is healing beautifully, and he has officially been medically cleared by his veterinary team! As wonderful as that news is, it gets even better. Abe has found his forever home. He is now living the life he always deserved with a loving family, two canine siblings, and a little boy who will grow up alongside him. The frightened, neglected dog who once wandered the streets alone is now surrounded by love, safety, and a family that will cherish him for the rest of his life. None of this would have been possible without your compassion. Your donations helped provide the diagnostics, emergency care, surgeries, medications, and follow-up treatment Abe needed every step of the way. Because of your generosity, he was given not only a second chance—but a brand-new beginning. From all of us at One By One, and from Abe's forever family, thank you for believing in him. Your kindness transformed the life of a dog who had every reason to give up, and instead gave him the future he always deserved.

Help Tiny Opal Keep Fighting

Fort Worth, TX • Murdock’s Mission

At just eight weeks old, Opal has already faced more than most cats will in a lifetime. She and her siblings were found while Murdock's Mission was trapping stray adult cats. Sadly, despite the rescue's best efforts, Opal's brother, Odie, passed away the day after they were rescued. The loss of Odie only strengthened the rescue's determination to save the rest of the litter. Now, Opal is facing another heartbreaking challenge. Late one night, this tiny kitten—who weighs only a pound and a half—suffered a rectal prolapse, a painful and potentially life-threatening condition requiring immediate veterinary care. She was rushed to the hospital, where veterinarians were able to replace the prolapse and place a small stitch in hopes of allowing her body to heal without surgery. She will remain hospitalized for several days while her medical team carefully monitors her recovery. At such a young age, every hour of care matters. This fundraiser will help cover Opal's emergency hospitalization, medications, diagnostics, continued monitoring, and any additional treatment or surgery she may need if her condition doesn't improve as hoped. Despite everything she's endured, Opal continues to fight. Your donation gives this tiny kitten the opportunity to heal, grow stronger, and experience the safe, loving life every kitten deserves. Thank you for helping Murdock's Mission give Opal the fighting chance she deserves. 7/23/26 Update: Opal is still in the hospital Thank you for your support for Opal. She is still holding on and has been hospitalized for a little over two weeks! She is still too small for the surgery she needs, so we can only hope that the care and support she is receiving carries her through.

Tinky's Life Changed in an Instant

Burnsville, MN • Baw Baw Animal Welfare

This handsome 2-year-old cat was brought into care after being struck in a traffic accident, suffering multiple traumatic injuries that required immediate veterinary intervention. When Tinky arrived at the clinic, he was bleeding from both his nose and ears, both alarming signs that raised concerns about a potentially serious head injury. He also had a painful 2 cm laceration beneath his lower jaw. Tinky is fighting hard. The veterinary team acted quickly to stabilize him. His jaw wound was carefully cleaned and sutured, and he was admitted to the hospital for intensive monitoring and treatment. Because of the suspected head injury, Tinky remains under close observation while receiving round-the-clock care. His treatment is extensive and includes IV antibiotics to prevent infection, medications to manage pain and inflammation, supportive therapies to protect his digestive system, and specialized medications to help control bleeding. He is also receiving IV fluids and glucose therapy to keep him hydrated, nourished, and strong while his body works to heal. Accidents like this can leave animals with injuries that are not always visible at first, which is why ongoing monitoring and veterinary care are so critical for Tinky's recovery. While the next few days are important, we are hopeful that with the right treatment and support, he can overcome this terrible ordeal. Baw Baw Animal Welfare is committed to giving Tinky every chance possible, but the costs of emergency hospitalization, medications, diagnostics, and ongoing care add up quickly. We are asking for your help today. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps provide the lifesaving treatment Tinky needs. If you're unable to donate, sharing his story can help us reach others who can. Tinky has already survived the accident. Now he needs our help to heal, recover, and return to the safe and happy life every cat deserves. 7/23/26 Update Because of your incredible compassion and support, we are thrilled to share that Tinky's story has the happy ending we were all hoping for. After receiving the emergency veterinary care he needed following his traumatic accident, Tinky made a wonderful recovery and has officially found his forever home! While we had hoped to share updated photos of Tinky with his new family, we were unfortunately unable to obtain any. However, his adopter shared that they are so happy with him and that he is settling into his new life beautifully. Knowing that Tinky has gone from fighting for his life after being hit by a car to being safe, loved, and cherished in a forever home is the best update we could ask for. This happy ending would not have been possible without the generosity of everyone who donated, shared his campaign, and kept Tinky in their thoughts.
