Remington
Please support Remington through FHO surgery.
Cameron, NC • Kind 2 Kritters Rescue & Outreach
Today, Kind 2 Kritters gave Remington the fresh start he desperately needed by pulling him from a high-kill shelter. After getting him evaluated at the vet, they received heartbreaking news—his X-rays showed that he needs an FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) surgery to relieve his pain and give him the chance to walk comfortably again. Remington has been through enough, and now he needs our help. His surgery is the next step toward a happy, pain-free life, but we can't do it without your support. These surgeries can cost upwards of $3,000, along with aftercare costs. If you're able to donate toward Remington's medical care, every dollar brings him one step closer to healing and the loving future he deserves. Thank you for standing by animals like Remington when they need us most.

Florence
Please help Florence who had a mammary tumor removed.
Cameron, NC • Kind 2 Kritters Rescue & Outreach
Florence was never supposed to make it out of the shelter alive. Now safe in the care of Kind 2 Kritters Rescue, Florence has already undergone surgery to remove a mammary tumor—a procedure that gave her a second chance at the life she almost lost. She’s recovering, healing, and finally experiencing the care and comfort every dog deserves. But life-saving surgeries come with overwhelming costs, and Kind 2 Kritters Rescue is now trying to raise funds to cover the remaining balance of Florence’s medical bill. Florence mattered enough to save. Now we’re asking for help to continue giving her the care she deserves. If you can, please consider donating toward Florence’s surgery expenses. Every dollar helps ease the burden and allows rescue dogs like Florence to keep getting the second chances they so desperately need.

Oliver
Posted Online for $5, Oliver Needs Your Support
Cameron, NC • Kind 2 Kritters Rescue & Outreach
This sweet boy named Oliver was devastatingly posted online for $5. Thankfully, Kind 2 Kritters Rescue saw the post and had one of their volunteers reach out to the owners. They were able to rescue two dogs. When they got back to the clinic, they discovered Oliver had a severe ear infection with a tumor growing from his ear, along with a painful limp. He has a meniscus tear in his back leg, and both of his kneecaps are popping in and out, making it extremely difficult for him to walk. He isn’t putting any pressure on that leg at all. He will be having surgery to repair his knee, and this rescue is seeking help with this unplanned vet bill that is stretching their emergency funds thin. Poor Oliver deserves to be able to walk, run, and play again. No dog deserves this neglect and abuse. He is a sweet senior with a heart full of love, and he truly deserves a beautiful life. Kind 2 Kritters Rescues is a very small rescue outreach that relies entirely on donations, and unfortunately, being small means they receive very few contributions. They urgently need your help to care for Oliver. It would truly mean the world if you could donate any amount to his care. Oliver needs you! 5/18/26 Update Thank you to everyone who supported Oliver on his healing journey. Thanks to you, he was able to make a full recovery and has now been adopted into his forever home. We are so grateful for your love and support.

Max
Max is a 2 year old St. Bernard in Fayetteville , NC, who needs $2,000 for Treatment for Ingesting Toxins
Fayetteville, NC • Pet Angel Fund
Pet Angel Fund Max was welcomed into Pet Angel Fund with open arms as a community plea. He was likely dumped. All that is known about his past is that Max has a history of seizures and was not medicated, meaning he had months of avoidable seizures. The raw marks on his legs and paws a result of this negligence. He was not properly taken care of. Shortly after coming into foster care, he quickly declined. Max was acting extremely lethargic, then suddenly collapsed. He began throwing up bits of trash. He started urinating blood and having bowel movements that also had blood in them. Max was quickly rushed to Animal Hospital of Fayetteville in North Carolina. They have been closely monitoring him and diagnosed him with HGE, also known as hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, a sudden potentially fatal disorder that attacks a dog's GI tract. It is suspected he digested something toxic. Max is now fighting for his life. He has been through so much and does not deserve this. He is such a gentle giant with so much love to give. Despite feeling absolutely awful, he just wants to rest his big head in your lap and receive love. Pet Angel Fund is a non-profit that relies on donations to help animals like Max. Please consider donating to help support Max's fight for his health. Update 8/19 Max has thankfully pulled through. He has regained some strength and is eating. Sadly, it has been recently discovered that Max has infected sores on 3 of his paws. He is receiving excellent care and will continue to get bloodwork and testing done to help him. Update 8/27 Max went to the vet for bloodwork and recheck of his foot. His kidney levels are almost normal but a few other levels have dropped, they believe this is a result of the hookworms which may have taken over after he started prednisone as prednisone is a steroid and weakens the immune system. His foot we are keeping a close eye on and hoping for healing since the nail bed had receded down to the bone. We will continue x-rays on his foot if necessary and bloodwork to monitor his health.

Snoopy
Snoopy is a three-year-old Labrador mix in Fayetteville , NC, who needs $2,000 for emergency care.
Fayetteville, NC • Pet Angel Fund
* Pet Angel Fund * Starved, Too Weak to Stand, and Shaking in Fear, Snoopy Needs You! Snoopy was found scared, alone, and emaciated. No one knows how long this poor dog has been fighting for his life—or how he lived as long as he did. Someone finally rushed Snoopy to an animal hospital, and the staff contacted Pet Angel Fund. "It is a miracle that Snoopy was taken in when he was, as he had sepsis, a life-threatening response to an infection," Michelle H., with the nonprofit group, tells Waggle. Snoopy, who weighs just 24 pounds, is now hospitalized in critical condition. "He has a voracious appetite, which is incredibly encouraging," Michelle says. "He is timid but very gentle. He is learning that people can be trusted thanks to the wonderful care he is receiving." Pet Angel Fund desperately needs your help to pay for Snoopy's care. Please give to his campaign to help him fight the good fight!

Thomas
Thomas is a two year old Labrador mix in Fayetteville , NC, who needs $2,000 for emergency treatment.
Fayetteville, NC • Pet Angel Fund
Thomas was found wandering the streets, all alone and absolutely terrified. He had been abandoned by people and left to starve to death at just two years old. Northampton County Animal Shelter picked him up and placed him on a stray hold, but of course, nobody came to claim him. Shortly after, Pet Angel Fund came across Thomas. When they heard about Thomas’ case, their hearts broke, and they knew they had to intervene. They picked him up and quickly got him the care he so desperately needed. Thomas was timid at first and hesitant to interact with humans, understandably so since he had been betrayed by those he thought he could trust. The wonderful vet staff and rescue volunteers have shown him not all people are bad, and he has come out of his shell, slowly but surely. Turns out, he is a very loving and playful guy! Thomas was taken to Animal Hospital of Fayetteville, where he is being treated for a few things, most issues stemming from being malnourished. He has developed slight anemia, hair and skin issues, severe diarrhea, vomiting, and dehydration. He also has an ear infection. Pet Angel Fund helps save countless animals, just like Thomas. Please consider donating, so they can continue their mission and help Thomas restore his health.

Alfonso is a two-year-old Miniature Schnauzer in Fayetteville, NC, who needs $2,000 for emergency care.
Fayetteville, NC • Pet Angel Fund
***TURN EVERY $1 YOU GIVE ALFONSO INTO $2! Support the Waggle FurEver Fund by becoming a monthly donor and Waggle will MATCH your first month’s donation, applying it directly to Alfonso’s care. Once you’ve clicked DONATE, simply select the MONTHLY DONATION option.*** Calling a situation a heartbreaking miracle doesn't seem to make sense. But when you hear Alfonso's story, you'll see what we mean! Alfonso went missing in December. His human dad tirelessly searched for him. Three months later, he found Alfonso! But, the joyful reunion quickly turned to despair when he saw Alfonso's horrifying condition. He was emaciated and near death after not eating for months. Alfonso's human dad asked the Pet Angel Fund to help save his precious pup. The group arranged for Alfonso to be admitted to an animal hospital for emergency treatment. "After hours of medical care, he showed that he wanted to fight," Michelle H., with the nonprofit group, tells Waggle. "This began by wagging his little tail. Then magically, though wobbly, he stood up with all his strength." Please help Alfonso continue to fight for his life!

Cholo
Cholo is a 12-year-old Chihuahua in Vass, NC, who needs $1,300 for Testicle Cancer Mass Removal.
Vass, NC
Hi my name is Dustin my wife is Amanda and we have 2 sons Chandler and Mason we adopted Cholo July 2 2010 he was so full of life and Chandler's best friend he is like our 3rd son over the last month cholo scrotum started swelling which you can see in the pictures and vet says it is testicle cancer and as long as it hasn't spreaded they can do surgery and remove the mass Cholo was once the guard dog or so he thought and now he is our little old man he has horrible separation anxiety so he goes everywhere with us. He has been through so much around 2015 he was mauled by a pitbull the vet claimed he would never walk again and yet he has beat all odds cholo is a warrior and is loved so much by our family Cholo would lay with our sons until they got out of bed he wouldn't move until then regardless of needing to use bathroom thirsty or hungry he wouldn't leave there sides until they were awake. If you tell cholo to dance he would stand on his back legs and go in circles and when he knew we where leaving he would just get so excited and run to the car The vet clinic is leaning toward testicle cancer and told us if it hasn't spreaded that it could be removed we currently don't have the funds to go any further with his assessment we are hoping that it hasn't spreaded of course also he has been loosing a lot of weight vet told us that could be a result of the mass as well We lost our home that we were renting recently and been staying in motels to get by we have had no luck in finding a new place and my wife has had medical issues recently which has exhausted all funds we had
