We rescued Kap on 6/3/26. Kap is a Cockapoo, the rescue had their vet give him vaccines and check his eye health on 6/2/26. We were told that he had no eye issues. At home on 6/3/26 he ran into several objects outside and inside the house. l read on the Internet about one eye condition could cause blindness in 24-48hr. I called the or an appt on 6/4/26 to have his eyes checked. He had cataracts Kap has cataracts in both eyes. The surgery is estimated to be 5,400-5,800. I purchased pet medical insurance on 6/3/26 but it has a 30 waiting period. Because I was so concerned about his sight and took him to the vet on 6/4/26, this is considered pre-existing and not covered. He is a very sweet boy, very smart and has quickly learned the invisible fence boundaries and furniture placement. He was up for adoption because his human mother had passed away from cancer. The family member taking care of him was not a good provider and locked him in a shed. He has had a lot of trauma and change in the last 2 months that we have had him. it would be a great for him to see again My husband and I are retired and on Social Security and in our 70's. I do work about 18 hours a week to help with expenses. We love our pets and want Kap to be able to see again and enjoy his life. He is only 4 years old. We want to get the surgery but it is 54 to 5800

We got COVID Kitty during COVID. He's 6 years old and my best friend. He's survived a horrible house fire 4 years ago. He has no other illnesses. And he's fixed. Living the best kitty life. We woke up to him throwing up a lot Monday morning and found a grape in his vomit. I've called so many places only to hear they can't help without money. I'm a full time student. The emergency care is COVE Pet Care Delaware Ohio. He's a laser pointer chaser, who loves his belly rubs. Never resists a treat and some cat nip. He is loved by all who meet him. He's got 2 other kitties that he lives with that are not ok with him being sick. Lost everything in a house fire. I'm divorced. Just lost my job due to budget cuts. I'm a full time student. I have 3 children 2 are graduated one is in college. We are struggling as it is then this happens.

I adopted Rowan less than a week ago from the dog shelter. As soon as I met him, he ran right up to me and hasn’t left my side since. He is 7 and only had one previous owner I believe who became too old to care for him anymore. He was very stressed at the shelter barely eating and barely able to poop. He has had absolutely perfect behavior ever since I took him home. Rowan was going to the fredericktown vet who tested him for worms/parasites and said his poop came back negative. When he started bleeding from his butt I took him to COVE Pet Care for emergency care and found he has a mass in his colon and rectal polyps- most likely benign. He needs surgery which is estimated $4,000 just for the surgery. Rowan and I have bonded so much in a short time. He is the perfect dog. Already trained, so well behaved, kind and such a protector. He has never barked once, never bit anyone, never done anything wrong truly. He doesn’t pull on walks, he comes when called, he snuggles right next to me. Everyone already is attached to our rescue. He’s the perfect dog for hikes and all the kayak trips I do. I was prepared to pay needs for Rowan but a surgery within one week of adopting him is a little out of budget. I want him to be healthy and feel safe again as I’m sure this has been stressful being sick, at the shelter, losing his previous owner. Can’t wait to play with him.

We lost two dogs with a year and we have been looking for a addition to our family and we found Smidge. We wanted a smaller dog this time and found him online. He was waiting to be adopted for probably five months and we finally were able to adopt him. He’s just a puppy and he has been so much fun running around the house and giving me a lot of joy. Well today after we were playing in the house and he was chasing me back-and-forth my wife took him outside on our back porch and somehow he got tangled up with his leash and fell off the bench we have on our porch and he broke his leg and two places we are at Cove in Delaware, Ohio off Sunbury Road. Since he has too broken bones in his leg, they are recommending surgery. It is much more than we p he is new to our family and is such a joy he loves to play. He is super smart and he does tell us when he needs to go outside.. every morning I play music and dance around as he barks at me and chases me around the house and we do this in the evening and also now his leg is broken, and I am very saddened by this accident me and my wife both work that I am a single business owner to landscaping company. I just started my wife is a dental assistant. It would mean everything to see her. I’ll be heal correctly and be able to run around again without chronic pain the rest of his life.

We adopted Boss from a local humane society December 20th 2024. We had lost our last dog Arrow in November of last year, a month before his 11th birthday. We had Arrow and his brother Buckeye (crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2022) since they were born in 2013. When we met Boss I immediately noticed something wrong with his left eye, asked the humane society employee if there was anything wrong with it. Her response: "it's just a little goopy." I filled out paperwork, my husband paid the fee, they gave him Boss' folder, we go home. I look in Boss' folder, the 1st page states he has entropion & needs eye surgery. He will be going to COVE in Delaware OH. Boss is the sweetest dog. Absolutely LOVES the snow, is fascinated by bubble wrap and watches TV. He crosses his front legs and folds his front paws in when he lays down, my daughter says he's like a distinguished gentleman. Boss is extremely smart and there hasn't been a day yet that he hasn't made us laugh. We weren't told of his medical condition until after we completed paperwork & paid the adoption fee. Having recently invested in a new roof, we have depleted our financial reserves. It would be unjust to make Boss wait through a legal battle, so any donation is appreciated.

Maggie started at our school district at 10 weeks old. She came to school with me nearly everyday even when I was coaching wrestling. Day in and Day our she wondered the hallways of our school soothing so many students over the years. She was even awarded with our school talent show one year when a group of 8th grade students filmed her catching the frisbee. Recently playing fetch with one of our special needs students she landed wrong on her left hind leg and the Vet has predicted the cost for repair will be 6,000 this is through Ohio State Veterinary Hospital. I have not scheduled yet due to funding. i am trying to save but in the meantime Maggie has not returned to school for a month. Maggie is the ultimate in the Labrador legacy, she spends her day in the middle school roaming from room to room. She primarily in is a special needs classroom with students with multiple disabilities. She becomes very attached to the students and has adapted to warn of stuents when seizures are coming on. She is a staple at the middle school events in the evening and a community icon. Simply the fact the medical situation the the Hospital requires full payment. If I could arrange a payme program I could afford but the hospital does not accpet care credit.

Remi is a 4 year old German Shepherd who I’ve had since she was 5 weeks old! She has been an energetic playful loving best friend! She was recently hospitalized and I’m struggling with the financial side to get her kidneys back to a functioning level! Remi is in Cove pet care in Delaware Ohio! She was rushed there after a vet check up because her kidneys are failing! I’ve had her there for a couple days but now I’m running out of fund quickly! Remi never met a stranger! She’s a loving care free gal! She loves giving kisses, playing fetch and if you have a treat you are her new best friend! She the sweetest little girl! She is a dog that can cheer you up when you’re down and just an all around perfect companion! I had to get a loan to get where I am now In her medical care. The doctors think there is a chance she could make it out but I’m running out of financial aid really quickly and am afraid I won’t have enough to continue treatment.

My baby has been with me since birth. I remember the very first time we howled together, the very first time he slept with me. I was working but lost my job back in April. I have a job now but I just started so funding is a little low especially when you have bills and a baby and is a single parent. He is a very healthy dog. Fredrick was hit by a car on October 1st and is currently at Central Ohio Veterinary Emergency receiving care. He has brain damage, a broken paw major cuts on the other paw, etc. now he will stand but he has to be held up. He ate today, his breathing is doing better, he is wagging his tail. I just want to help him fight financially. Freddy is a character, he's always happy, energetic, full of life. He hates car rides but deal with them because he doesn't like to be away from me. He's my everything, my best friend. I love him and I know he loves me. I just started a job so funds isn't there. My aunt has been helping me but we can only do so much. It would mean the world to me to get my baby healthy and home to me. It's very hard to sleep at night without him here.

Crowley came into my life as a feisty 5 week old kitten! He had such a big personality tucked into a little body. He has 3 sisters (1 cat and 2 dogs) who miss him very much right now. He was the missing puzzle piece to our little fur family and the house just feels empty since he’s been in the hospital. Everyone that meets him just falls in love with my little ginger biscuit. Crowley has some acute kidney damage due to what the doctors believe is an infection. His symptoms came on so suddenly and I never expected them to be so serious so quickly. He is currently hospitalized on IV fluids and antibiotics. They are continuing to monitor his kidney values to see if they come down. Good news is he is eating on his own today! This baby just steals your heart the minute you look into his eyes. Last night was the first night I haven’t been able to do ‘uppies’ in 3 years. It’s his favorite nightly activity, I let his 2 sisters out for the last time and ask for uppies and he runs over to be held and look out the patio door and chase bugs through the glass and just purrs and gives me headbutts and kisses. I have just put quite a bit of money into a new roof and some other repairs on the house. I’m on a single income and this is quite a large unexpected expense to come so closely after all of that.

We purchased Remy from someone who had way more puppies than they needed, we saved him. He lives with mom and dad but he’s dad’s best friend. Remy is 3 years and used to be full of life and energy. Now that he’s sick he just lays around. Remy loves is sister Elle Belle and they play all day long. Unfortunately, since Remy has became ill, his sister has become very depressed. Remy loves to play fetch and run around like a crazy man. He loves his family and protects them at any cost. Remy loves car rides and being outside. He loves fresh air and being outside. It’s been hard on him just laying around. You can see he wants to play and be his normal self, but he just doesn’t have the energy to do so. Remy stopped eating and pooping about a week ago. He won’t play, he won’t eat he won’t do anything but lay around. We have had Remy to the vet and he has a bowel blockage. The surgery is $7000 and we just can not afford it. The alternative is to put him down, he is 3 years old. We are devastated. Remys father and I work full time jobs, live pay check to paycheck but have great jobs. We have 3 children and we are doing the best we can. Remy isn’t a pet, he’s a family member. We just paid $3000 9 months ago bc somehow Remy contracted parvo. We just need help.

He loves life and is a happy normally healthy dog. He is an indoor dog Loki loves sleeping in bed with us, it varies on the night who he sleeps with. He loves everyone, literally knows no stranger. He will lick you to death. He loves to be carried around by his human mommy. He really loves it when his human brother gets rowdy with him wrestling around on the floor it's his favorite form of playing with him. His favorite four legged friends are his biological brother Brutus and his adopted sister Cocoa. His favorite two legged friends are his mommy, brothers, and papaw.He loves it when he visits with his papaw. His favorite toy is his horsie. His favorite past time is to steal food off your plate the second you look away. Lol. He loves to talk to you and is so dramatic about everything. Loki tore his ACL. He needs surgery to fix it. The treating Veterinarian is Dr. Jimmy Reynolds at Central Ohio Veterinary Emergency Clinic or COVE. His normal vet is Southgate clinic but they do not do that type of stuff there This last year has been rough on us. My son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and hashimotos, I was diagnosed with hashimotos. My car was broke down for 8 months of this year, I got a divorce. We just really want our Loki healthy again.

My son wanted a puppy to grow up with, I was 9m pregnant with my daughter when his grandmas friend who breeds posted his dog was having her last litter. I learned she was born on my grandmothers birthday and seen her. I couldn’t say no, she is beautiful. She cage trained so well, she loves everyone, I have a fenced in yard and everyone who walks by gets love. She’s just too sweet. She is our little lovebug. But also our little ankle biter! Everyone comes in through the back door in the kitchen and that is where she stays! She loves to be around everyone and greet everyone. She loves her big brothers and little sister. My boys are 4 and 2. My little girl was born a month after we got her. They are growing up together! She loves to play and will bark until you do! She talks! She isn’t afraid of anything! Always playing! She will sit and bark and jump around until you play with her! She talks really! The kids will talk with her! She cuddles them when they nap, and never leaves our sight. She has even got out of the gate and still stays around the house! She jumps around to just hear me and the kids laugh, and loves to bite toes/feet if they hang off the couch! It was raining and she was playing outside trying to dodge us, the kids dad fell on top of her and when he did her leg was out and broke her femur. She’s a trooper handling this so well, still trying to be right there with me. I took her to an emergency vet because it was open and the closest but I have to have the $3000 to $4000 for the surgery. I just had my little girl 2 months ago and she has two big brothers. I went through some savings staying home and spent the rest on what I could of her vet bill. She is too good to go through this pain. She needs this surgery. We want her to run and play with the kids again.
