Nova Marie is a 6 Year Old American Pit Bull Terrier in St. Petersburg, FL, Who Needs $160 for Urgent UTI Treatment.

St. Petersburg, FL

Hi!my name is Valerie & my best friend in the world's name is Nova. Nova came into my life in 2019. She was the last of her litter. A friend of mine called & asked if I would like a female pitbull about 12weeks. I immediately said yes.she was soooo short I could only see the tippy top of her tail when walking around the bed ( today's date you can only see maybe a little bit more☺️) Nova has been a very healthy dog. Besides getting spayed & routine vaccines by the local Animal services. She has a UTI that can turn into a kidney infection if not treated. Epic Specialty & Emergency Vet Care 160$+ prescriptions Nova has a buddy named Tony who lives at my dad's house. They are 2 peas in a pod when I visit. There isn't enough sticks on the tree for those two! Nova has an ear when she puts it just right she looks like a little elf. Nova is my best friend & I did live pay check to pay check till I lost my job last Tuesday. I can't afford it & it kills me not to be able to help her. She has been by my side & I'd do anything for her

Mylo

Mylo is a 12 year old Mix-Breed in St Pete , FL, who needs $1,500 for Surgery for Ear Hematoma.

St Pete, FL

We got Mylo as our family pet back in 2013 are kids were little Mylo was 8 weeks old when he joined our family he grew up as a brother to our children that are now grown. Our two boys joined the military and our daughter has given us two amazing grandbabies. When our children check up on us they care more about Mylo's well being then ours lol.. But it's true he's been a big part of their life. Okay so Mylo ear has blown up like a balloon we took him to an ER vet that said they could give him temporary relief by draining it but he really needs surgery to get the ear issue resolved we don't have the funds for either. We really are just praying for a miracle to help him because we can't afford the medical bills and it really hurts us because our pet is in pain. Mylo is our baby. He's special because we've raised him along with our children and he is a special person in their lives that could never be replaced. He's very friendly he's amazing he's getting older now and we want to make sure that he's not in pain he's been a great addition to our family. When our boys come home on leave we have one in Navy and ones a marine Mylo is the first person they look for he's their❤️ Low income have to apply for assistance at times of need. Work as a server and times have been tough. It would mean everything to us to get him the help he needs. I hate to see him in pain it truly kills me inside. He's truly been a blessing to our fam our kids heart n soul

Jerry

Jerry is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in SAINT PETERSBURG, FL, who needs $2,000 for Chemotherapy for GI Lymphoma.

SAINT PETERSBURG, FL

In 2020, I went to adopt another cat but Jerry chose me with a headbutt. Labeled unfriendly, he just craved attention. Years later, I met Ashley, and Jerry and I joined her and her shy cat, Thea. We rescued Anchovy, a sick kitten, and nursed her to health. She swiftly became Jerry’s best friend. Our patchwork family of rescues is bound by love, and we will do whatever it takes to keep us together. Jerry always rushed for cuddles, so when he didn’t come, I knew something was wrong. My instincts were right. Anemia from internal bleeding revealed a stomach mass. Epic Specialty and Emergency Pet Care worked wonders, restoring his spark. But the mass was GI lymphoma, and now Jerry faces chemo. We’re fighting for our boy, holding onto every moment of his love, determined to keep him with us. As far as he is concerned, Jerry exists solely to receive love and attention. His vet calls him “kind of a ho” for craving pets from everyone. Even during treatments and transfusions, he purrs, makes biscuits, and begs for headbutts. When he’s away, Anchovy misses her playmate, moping without him. We cherish every moment of Jerry’s affection, fighting to keep his joyful spirit home with us. Despite pet insurance, care credit, and savings, Jerry’s emergency vet bills have drained us, with them already passing $10k. With my partner’s new business, we rely on just my income. Now, Jerry’s chemo looms; we’re scrambling to fund it, desperate to save our loving boy.

Oscar

Oscar is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in St Petersburg, FL, who needs $2,000 for Pericardiectomy.

St Petersburg, FL

Alec and I rescued Oscar from a feral cat colony of 30 living outside. We got him one year into our relationships and he has been a staple in our lives since. He has been in 3 different homes and two different states with us! I had moved to Tulsa to become a zookeeper while Alec was waiting out our lease with Oscar when things took a turn for the worse. After 4 different vets being unable to tell us whats going on or misleading us, we met with Dr. Pierce at Island Life Animal Hospital. After an echo and CT he was diagnosed with restrictive pericarditis, a heart condition that can be resolved with surgery. This surgery could allow Oscar to live out the rest of his life normally! Oscar is the most special cat, he loves snuggling on his dad, Alec. Loves cat tv and watching the lizards outside. His favorite toys are zipties and uncooked spaghetti noodles, he has been a constant in our lives and we are fighting hard he stays that way. Things have been exponentially harder with myself relocating to start a new job, we have been to 4 different vets since July and obviously those rack up an expense. This surgery could and will save his life and he will be able to live normally again.

Maverick

Maverick is a 12 year old Siberian Husky in Sarasota , FL, who needs $2,000 for Thyroidectomy.

Sarasota, FL

Help Maverick Get the Life-Saving Surgery He Needs. My name is Richeal, and this is my best friend, Maverick—a sweet, loyal 12-year-old Siberian Husky who has been by my side through so many seasons of life. Maverick isn’t just my dog; he’s my family, my comfort, and my constant companion. He’s greeted me every morning with a wagging tail, cuddled next to me through hard days, and my twins girls. Recently, our world turned upside down when Maverick was diagnosed with a tumor on his thyroid. After multiple tests and consultations, his veterinarian, Dr. Siu at EPIC Veterinary Care, explained that surgery is the only chance Maverick has for a healthy, pain-free future. The good news is that this surgery could give Maverick several more happy years. The hard part is the cost of the surgery. Maverick is a gentle, loyal 12-year-old Husky with a heart as big as his paws. He’s the first to greet us each morning with tail wags and the last to settle in at night, curled by our side. He adores kids, loves his walks, and finds joy in simple things—like sunny spots and belly rubs. Maverick isn’t just a pet; he’s family, our constant source of comfort and unconditional love. I’m a single mom supporting my family on a single income, and my job is commission-based, which makes unexpected expenses like Maverick’s surgery overwhelming. He’s been our loyal companion for 12 years, and I’m doing everything I can to give him the care he needs.

Goose

Goose is a 6 month old Golden Retriever in Seminole, FL, who needs $2,000 for Stomach Surgery.

Seminole, FL

We welcomed goose into our family when he was just 9 weeks old, he has brought so much joy into our lives as a loving and hyper puppy. We decided he was a good fit to help Christian with his ptsd. Goose became very sick overnight, we woke up to him vomiting, after two different veterinarian opinions we were told he needs emergency surgery to help fix his distended stomach. The surgery can range from 6,000-10,000 dollars once they figure out his issue. Goose loves everyone, he’s a very curious boy and so gentle, he plays with my 4 year old son and my two year old niece. He is kind to everyone he meets and brings smiles to everyone. I like to call him a big glass of dopamine. Christian is a Firefighter at Madeira Beach and a Medic at John’s Hopkins all childrens Hospital, he works hard to help his community and sees a lot of trauma everyday, so coming home to his Goosey boy, brings him so much peace that is much needed to calm his nervous system

Sadie

Sadie is a 6 year old Labrador Retriever in St Petersburg , FL, who needs $2,000 for Septic Abdomen Exploratory Laparotomy.

St Petersburg, FL

Sadie is a six-year-old black labrador who was raised by another family. She was used for breeding multiple litters. After her spaying on May 7, 2025, Sadie was adopted by my parents. She came home with them on May 10. We had her for 4 days before having to take her in for life saving surgery due to sepsis after being spade. The infection in Sadie's body cavity was going to take her life by that night if we did not seek help immediately. Thankfully, the sepsis has not spread to her organs. She is still considered high risk and will be in a critical care facility for an undetermined amount of time; from a few weeks to whenever she is 100% ready to come home. Mom has had 7 vascular surgeries between Jan. 30, 2020-August 2022. Just like Mom's deceased black lab, Bella, Sadie is very alert in recognizing Mom's sensitive health condition. Because of this, Sadie is to be trained as a Medical Assistant Dog, to enhance her senses in changes in body chemistry, anticipate medical emergencies, and alert my parents to any potential life-threatening situations. Surgery and extended care estimate is up to $20,000. The surgery itself was over $11,000 with a military discount. If you can contribute to help fray the cost of Sadie’s surgery & recovery, it will be greatly appreciated. Saving Sadie's life could mean saving my Mom's life.
