Ouroboros

Ouroboros is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Westminster, SC, who needs $600 for Urinary Blockage/Urethral Tract Blockage.

Westminster, SC

Ouroboros(or Ouro) was given to me by a dying friend who lost their spleen in a car accident. Later, her life from surgery. The current living situation is extremely virulent, humid, abusive and loud. Due to this, I’m actively attempting to surrender him to a better home. Ouro has an inflamed urethral tract blockage due to a destabilised housing situation that causes him severe stress. This is the second occurrence in one and a half months. He is awaiting assistance at Fetch ER veterinary center. My pet is solitary, but truly docile around other animals. He has taken walks in the more tranquil instances of his life. However, presently, he rarely is able to interact with family members due to domestic disputes. I’m currently enrolled at a college. Personally supported by financial aids through my process, Ouro’s veterinarian payment will cause upheaval and destitution to him and myself. Upon any aid for his veterinarian bill, I’m surrendering him to a secure home away from stress.

Nacho

Nacho is a 11 year old Pug in Starr, SC, who needs $6,000 for Emergency Diabetes Management and Treatment.

Starr, SC

Nacho came into our lives at just five weeks old — tiny, fragile, and in need of care. We’ve loved and protected him ever since, and our commitment has never wavered, even through serious medical challenges. Nacho has Addison’s, diabetes, hypothyroidism, chronic pancreatitis, and IVDD. He’s fragile and needs daily meds, insulin, and careful care to stay alive. Despite this, he’s loving, resilient, and part of our family, and we’re committed to giving him every chance at a happy, safe life. Nacho is a total lovebug who has never met a stranger. Though he’s immobile and can’t run anymore, he still enjoys gentle play with a stuffed animal, giving kisses, and cuddling with his family. His sweet, affectionate nature makes every day brighter. Nacho’s medical care is costly, and while we do our best, the bills are overwhelming. With five other dogs in our family, any help would allow us to continue his daily medications, insulin, and monitoring, keeping him healthy and giving him the love and care he deserves.

Chip

Chip is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Piedmont, SC, who needs $2,000 for IMPA.

Piedmont, SC

Sometimes, the most incredible bonds begin in the middle of chaos. That’s exactly how Chip's story began. During a hurricane in Florida, local shelters were overwhelmed. To protect the animals, many were transported out of state—including to the Greenville Humane Society, which quickly reached capacity and sent out an urgent request for fosters and adopters. That’s when Chip’s family stepped in IMPA which has caused him pain, and a broken foot that requires metal plates and surgery. IMPA (Immune-Mediated Polyarthritis), a painful autoimmune disease that attacks his joints. Despite ongoing vet visits, treatments, and even walking in a cast like a little peg-legged trooper, Chip never stops smiling. They went to see the dogs in need—and among all of them was one pup who made the first move. Just six months old, Chip came right up to them like he already knew they belonged together. Despite everything he’d been through, he radiated happiness. No fear. No hesitation. Just joy. And in that moment, they knew—it was a done deal. 6500 dollar bill and we have already spent over 6k on his medical IMPA IMPA (Immune-Mediated Polyarthritis), a painful autoimmune disease that attacks his joints. Despite ongoing vet visits, treatments, and even walking in a cast like a little peg-legged trooper, Chip never

Tulipe

Tulipe is a 3 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi in greenville, SC, who needs $2,000 for Myclosporine.

greenville, SC

We were just awestruck when we saw this baby girls pictures on the good dog website as a puppy and we knew she was the one. Her ancestry is full of AKC Corgi champs who won many titles. We are living as a cozy family of 4 (including our other dog Bijou, a crazy Cockapoo!) She has an extremely rare autoimmune disease which is red blood cell aplasia, which is causing her bone marrow to not produce red blood cells to keep her organs from functioning properly. She was initially taken in critical care due to having 6% red blood cell count, and a normal count is 40%. She had 2 blood transfusions, 8 medications and multiple injections resulting in almost $10,000. Fetch She has such a warming spirit and soul, never failing to make us laugh by her passion for food, and always will be on your side in times of need, and to repay her incredible contributions to our wellbeing’s, we want to do everything that we can to get her happy and healthy again. We are an average family with an average income, and we’re given an insane vet balance of over $8000 for 2 blood transfusions and much more for her 8 medications she is currently taking and injections. We would be forever greatful to receive any amount of money to help!

Stori

Stori is a 2 year old German Shepherd Dog in Salem, SC, who needs $2,000 for Critical Support, Hospitalization, and Monitoring.

Salem, SC

My dad found Stori when she was just a puppy. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hands. It was 5 or 6 in the morning and he was on the way to work. She was in the middle of the road and he almost hit her. He guesses that someone threw her out of the car because the tip of her tail was missing all the fur, she was bleeding and a little beaten up. That's where the name Stori comes from! Stori has been at Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers since May 26th (my birthday). She started off just not wanting to eat or drink a whole lot. That quickly turned into not eating or drinking at all. On that Monday, we found a large puddle of blood on the kitchen floor and rushed her to the emergency vet Her intestines were extremely inflamed, and she was severely dehydrated. She is the most friendly and goofy dog I have ever had the privilege of knowing. She is always running to greet us when we get home, some would say a little too excitedly. She is best friends with the other three dogs in the house and even the cats seem to love her. She likes to sit on her butt and she loves to be upside down whether she is sleeping, playing or just hanging out. Since dropping her off, we have spent nearly $13,000 that we, in all honesty, did not have. With the surgery, housing, medications etc. we are very quickly reaching our financial cap. She is everything to all of us and I will do anything to not give up on her.

Murphy

Murphy is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Pickens, SC, who needs $2,000 for Pelvic Fracture Repair.

Pickens, SC

Murphy came into my life in May 2020, as the world shut down and I prepared to start teaching. With so much uncertainty, I knew his name had to be Murphy, as in Murphy’s Law. Over the years, he’s been with me through moves, job changes, losses, and fostering dogs. He’s truly my best buddy, helping me through the highs and lows of life. On Thursday night Murphy was hit by a truck in front of our house. The truck never hit the breaks or turned around. I immediately took him to Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers - Greenville, SC where they determined he would need surgery to evaluate and repair numerous pelvic fractures using plates. Murphy is my “watch dog.” By that, I mean every day when I pull in he’s sitting on the back of the couch looking out the window for me to come home. He loves to hold hands and loves to play fetch. He’s done a great job helping guide the dogs I’ve fostered and helps set the example for what it means to be a Good Boy. The cost of emergency vet stay combined with surgery greatly exceeds what I had set aside in my emergency fund. Not having Murphy at home with me has been heartbreaking and I just want him home to put his paw on my hand again.

Mango

Mango is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Simpsonville, SC, who needs $2,000 for Sonogram & Critical Care.

Simpsonville, SC

The moment I met Mango at the humane society, I knew he was meant to be mine. He was so full of love, rubbing against my hand like he had been waiting for me his whole life. I adopted him that day, and he’s been my best friend ever since. I named him Mango because, just like a ripe mango, he was sweet, golden, and brought warmth into my life when I needed it. He suddenly stopped eating, started vomiting multiple times a day, and now has bloody diarrhea. A few days ago, he passed a piece of plastic, and the vet believes he may still have something stuck inside him. Fetch Vet wants him to want him to come back in for a sonogram to check for an obstruction, but I don’t have the money to afford more tests or treatment. I cry every day watching him suffer. Mango is more than just a pet, he’s my best friend, my shadow, and the sweetest soul I’ve ever known. From the moment I met him at the humane society, he stole my heart with his loving nature. He always greets me with gentle head bumps and follows me from room to room, never wanting to be far from my side.He and my other cat, Pepper, are inseparable, always playing and cuddling together. I am a 26-year-old mother of two, currently in school completing my prerequisites for a radiologic tech program. Money has always been tight. Right now, though, I’m facing a heartbreaking situation. I need help. I need Mango. I cry everyday watching him suffer.

Muffin

Muffin is a 5 year old Manx in Greenwood, SC, who needs $2,000 for Hernia Removal Surgery.

Greenwood, SC

Muffin is a very special rescue kitty I adopted from a shelter to try and help her. I saw her online listing a year ago, watched her get adopted, and then returned some months later. I decided to go meet her in person, and had my eye on her because her coat pattern is very similar to an older cat I lost who had my heart. When I saw her, she was in terrible pain. I knew I couldn’t leave her there. From the moment I saw Muffin, it was physically obvious to me that something was wrong with her butt. I adopted her and told the shelter she needed medical attention, and went back and forth for a while discussing her condition. X-rays with Emerald City Animal Hospital and FETCH detailed a massive hernia in her rump. It causes Muffin chronic pain, diarrhea, and grooming issues that cause matting. Muffin is as sweet as pie. She craves affection deeply, is curious in nature, and likes to play when she’s feeling well enough. When she isn’t, she can be a cranky old lady, lashing out if you pet her while she’s in pain. I call it a hernia mood ring because you can tell how she’s feeling by how much the hernia is inflated with fecal matter. My 4 other cats are stressed due to her mood swings. FETCH quoted me $4,000 to $6,000 for total hernia removal with a 99% guarantee of it not reoccurring. While not life threatening, it’s severely impacting Muffin’s quality of life! And not just hers, but my other cats’ as well. The sooner she can have this removed the better!

Zeick is a 3 year old Maine Coon in Piedmont, SC, who needs $558 for Open Tail Wound.

Piedmont, SC

This is Zeick! He’s almost 4 years old but we found him when he was just a couple weeks old along with his sister as the only survivors in their litter. He also has 2 other sisters from the first litter & 1 older from before saving both litters, so he’s our only boy out of all 5. He’s not afraid to show who’s boss but in a loving protector way On May 30th he had got his tail caught in something that skinned the tip of his tail & resulted in him having to have it amputated at Fetch EmergencyVet. We had no idea of the long road to recovery would still not be over. Everytime he gets his bandage off he attacks it, reopening his wound, it’s been terribly painful & difficult each time. We now keep him bandaged for prevention till yesterday Although he’s most def the king of the castle, he’s also the sweetest teddy bear. He’s so loving & you can say he’s spoiled rotten, he’s like another baby that I just adore so very much. I don’t know what we’d do without him but I know I’d be devastated. We’re very blessed to have the sweetest babies, I’ll do anything for them & to make sure they’ll live out their long life ahead happy & healthy. With the original surgery, 2 additional restitching operations & at homecare supplies it’s been financially straining. We’re now at a finance loss figuring out any other way to pay for another operation & to stay on his road to recovery. It’d mean absolutely everything to us

Simba is a 13 year old Ragdoll in Anderson, SC, who needs $1,750 for Wound Care and Infection Management.

Anderson, SC

Simba is like a child to my husband and I. We got him in 2011 the year my husband got out of the military. I also served along with my husband and I can wholeheartedly say I wouldn’t be here today if I didn’t Simba. He has gotten through most of the hardest, emotionally exhausting and traumatic years of my life. He sleeps on my pillow every night as if guarding me while I sleep. He’s my whole ❤️ Simba has always been a particularly allergic cat. We buy him special food for cats with sensitive skin. He’s never really been injured like this. Other than being neutered the only other injury was a wound on his leg that could have been an abscess that burst but it wasn’t diagnosed, my vet Dr. Andy at Oconee veterinary cleaned it up and gave him IM antibiotics. He was back to normal in 10 days He’s special to my husband and I because it may sound strange, but it’s like he absorbs all our sadness. He always rushes to console me if I’m crying, he loves to headbutt and need to show us he loves us. He’s very vocal and we understand him but not like he understands us. He makes me whole and I don’t know what I would do without him. He is a part of me 4ever Both my husband and I have fixed incomes, and can barely make ends meet. Because of our disabilities we are what’s called total and permanently unemployable by the military. When costs of living increase, our pay does not. Life is a constant financial emotional struggle.

Mia is a 6-year-old German Shepard in Taylors, SC, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Taylors, SC

Mia has lived with me since 2019. I took her in from a friend who was moving due to Covid. She is spoiled rotten and runs the house now. She sleeps at the bottom of the bed, chills on the couch, and keeps all the squirrels out of the yard. She loves her kitty brother and sister and her best friend Indi. She “helps” with all of the chores and makes sure we know when someone is at the door! Mia is a big goofy bundle of love. She loves her kitty brother and sister even though they don’t love her nearly as much. It’s taken years together but Mia finally is able to kiss and cuddle her kitty sister. Mia also tries to get her furry siblings to play with her by dropping the ball on them while they sleep. Mia’s favorite thing in the world is playing ball. If you play ball with her, she will be your best friend. She will bring you the ball with sweet eyes then run away. She also loves barking at the ups driver and “helping” mommy cook, clean, do yard work, or just about anything. She makes the cutest faces eating pb. Sleeping sometimes she looks like a kangaroo then snores like an old man. This is our second round of TPLO surgery. Both times she was playing ball when she tore her doggy ACL. We have met with Dr. McDonald-Lynch at Fetch Greenville. Although the surgery is quick, the recovery is a long process over 12-16 weeks. She recovered very well from her last surgery and was back ready to rumble like nothing ever happened. We are hoping for the same results this time! Unfortunately this is not our first trip to the emergency vet or even TPLO surgery. Last year Mia had pneumonia in January then tore her ACL in February. With unforeseen home repairs and vet bills we have been struggling to keep up. My furry family are my world!

Beauregard is a 4-year-old Domestic Long Hair Cat in Simpsonville, SC, who needs $2,000 for Blockage Removal.

Simpsonville, SC

My boy Purrier Gustav Toutant-Beauregard was live trapped at 12 weeks with his brother Strom Purrmond. We have had him since. He recently lost his nanny cat George Catton due to heart disease. The stress and grief caused Beau to block. We took him to the emergency vet where he was unblocked to be sent home to block an hour and a half later. Beau loves to sit with his mama and play with his brother. His favorite thing in the world is to be the little spoon and to be cuddled close. He lovingly grooms his foster brothers and sisters and is kind to anyone with a willing lap. Beau knows when you need a cuddle or a friend to be there with you. Beau has the best heart and is very empathetic to people and othe cats. He chirps for others to come to him. He has been a loving foster brother to two litters of kittens. Beau is being treated at Fetch Greenville. This is his second hospitalization as he struggles with struvite stones. He was released previously and reblocked within an hour of coming home. Beau has struggled since he witnessed the death of his nanny cat George Catton from heart disease in October. The vets believe that his anxiety has contributed to his blockage. My husband has been out of work on FMLA due to needing spinal surgery. We have had a rough year losing both of our dogs ( cancer), a girl to FIP and George Catton to heart disease. The vet bills have depleted our savings. Beau getting better would mean everything to us.

We’ve had her since she was 3months old, adopting her from Greenville humane society. She has been a huge part of lives and many others. Her goal is to love everyone and she always succeeds in that area. Our dog Isabelle has full blockage in her urethra due to a possible tumor. A catheter was placed and she has been hospitalized in order to treat her bladder and reduce inflammation. Upon removal of the catheter, her bladder filled up fast, showing that she was not able to evacuate bladder due to blockage. She now requires emergency catheter placement. She is at Fetch Greenville SC. This area is hard to write mostly because it’s hard to put in so many words just how amazing Isabelle is. Those who know her instantly fall in love and she shows that love in return. Those who know what it’s like know that vet bills are not cheap. Though we were able to front for the vet bills we unfortunately had to use credit to do so. We could use all the help we can get during this time.

Bonita Springs, FL

Milo was my older sister’s dog that she rescued in 2011. She survived multiple abusive relationships with Milo by her side. As she grew older and began a family of her own, she could no longer care for Milo. I came in without hesitation and decided to care for him along with my dad. Milo has been my best friend since I was 13 years old and has been by my side keeping a smile on my face. Milo is the chillest dog in the world. He sleeps in with me whenever I have a long night and gets cranky if I’m up too late. He still gets zoomies every night and loves to throw the ball and play with cute and fluffy toys although they don’t last long. When me and my dad come home he’s always alert and happy to see us. Milo loves all humans and babies especially. Milo has the sweetest eyes that always stare right back at you. He’s big and tall but so sweet. He’s not the type to jump and lick all over. He is gentle and rubs up on his favorite person at the moment to catch their attention and feel close. Milo loves to lay by the kitchen and watch me cook with fascination. He’s scared of thunderstorms, car rides and water bottles. A gentle giant. About a year ago, I noticed a bump on Milo that began to grow rapidly. After a very scary mass rupture, we gave him a surgery to try to remove the cancer. Milo has grade 2 sarcoma. Based on his most recent scan, Milo will need to undergo a few sessions of chemotherapy. This is devastating as he has been so happy and active. I am a recent college graduate and am barely beginning to work in my field. I am putting my aspirations of graduate school on the back burner. I am looking for a second job to help alleviate the financial stress, but worry that this leaves me with less time to care for Milo.

Poopers is 3 years old and my very best friend as well as a Bff to my two daughters, Mallorie and Rebekah. We got poopers the summer of 2020 when someone was giving away puppies in the Walmart parking lot. As soon as I spotted him, I had to have him! He is the sweetest little mix breed you could ever ask for. After losing my 10 year old daughter Emma 6 months after we got Poopers. He became a huge comfort to us all. Anytime I’m upset or having an anxiety attack he’s right there laying across my lap to calm me down. When my youngest is lonely and missing her big sister Poopers is right there to play and run around the yard with her. We couldn’t live without our little guy. Poopers just knows when I need him. We have a bond like no other. He is beyond special to us and what keeps a smile on our faces most days. He has this amazing ability to calm my anxiety attacks almost instantly and I don’t even have to call him over to me. He just senses that I need him and he is right there. Poopers has a mass under his jaw on his neck. It was found to be a severe salivary mucocele that needs surgical correction. They drained it but that is only a temporary fix. Poopers is otherwise a happy, healthy young dog. I am currently out of work due to my anxiety from losing my daughter but work part time delivering groceries. I have done CareCredit but used half of that for initial diagnosis, as well as other fundraisers, but we are still short a $1000 and he needs this done ASAP.

She lives in our apartment with us and our kitten and they are so bonded! She was so so healthy before she got parvo, and she was even fully vaccinated! She is our baby and we just want her home happy and healthy! She's loves anyone and everyone. The kindest puppy in the whole world! She loves our kitten and has so many friends around the apartment complex. She is also so well trained already! She sits and lays down on command, walks so well in the leash, and is potty trained. She wouldn't even hurt a fly! Best fur baby in the whole world! Paisley is such a little goofball! My favorite thing that she does is is when she's playing outside with another puppy and finds and stick, she has to share it! She'll grab one end and put the other end in the other dogs mouth! Makes me smile every time! She also loves to play ball! We have so many toys, but unless it's a ball she doesn't want it! Currently, Paisley is in Fetch animal hospital in Greenville South Carolina. She has been there for five days already and needs a surgery to save her life. She has several vets helping her at the moment. We are trying any which way to get her better we have just reached the limits at this point and need some extra assistance.
