Timmy

Timmy is a 10 year old American Shorthair in Cincinnati , OH, who needs $3,000 for Emergency Stabilization.

Cincinnati, OH

Timmy was found in a box as a kitten when I was 17 years old, we brought him home and he’s been with us for 10 years now, I’m 27 and he’s an integral part of my household Timmy recently became less active, more lethargic, playing less, eating less over the past few days, when I came home from work I found him hiding under the bed, breathing in a short unusual manner and he wouldn’t come out, or accept food or water. We took him to the closest vet and he’s was taken back right away where they discovered infection related fluid around his lungs Timmy is and always has been quarky, he has a RBF like no other and while sometimes sassy, he’s actually the sweetest cat, he’s 10 but plays like he’s still a kitten, and absolutely adore cuddling with anyone at all, he’s always been an indoor only cat and we like to think it’s because he doesn’t wanna get his tuxedo dirty we were already tight as a household,we shelled out all of our savings to get him this far but he’s at 5200 in life saving medical care, and The total care by tomorrow mid day is at 7k which we have exhausted all options for financing or assistance

Bobie (Bo-bee)

Bobie (Bo-bee) is a 13 year old Mix-Breed in Louisville, KY, who needs $10,000 for Oral Maxillary Surgery for Melanoma.

Louisville, KY

I am Bobie's (Bo-bee) second mom. Unfortunately, his first mom had to go into a nursing home, and since I was looking for a companion dog Bobie came to rescue me. I am disabled and live alone in an apartment so Bobie is a true companion. My beloved Bobie, a spunky Chihuahua Rat Terrier mix, is facing the fight of his life. He was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 aggressive oral melanoma. Because oral melanoma is aggressive, time is our biggest enemy. Bobie’s veterinary oncology team has outlined a critical treatment plan to save his life. This includes surgery to remove the mass followed by a immunotherapy melanoma vaccine If you know Bobie, you know he is a tiny dog with a massive heart, a fierce protector, and a loyal best friend. He has never met an animal or human that he does not like. He loves to take walks around our apartment complex so he can dance and look cute for pets and kisses. He also likes to ride on my lap in my power wheelchair whenever we go anywhere outside of his normal walks. Unfortunately, I'm disabled due to two strokes, and I'm confined to a power wheelchair 98% of the time, and I am now on a fixed income, receiving SSDI.

Master Shifu is a 1.5 year old American Longhair in Fairfield Twp, OH, who needs $5,000 for MRI w/ Sedation and Spinal Tap to Diagnose.

Fairfield Twp, OH

I had been bugging my husband about getting another cat so our 4 yr old female tabby would have a friend. One Friday night I fell in love with a picture of this handsome boy at our local animal shelter. I knew I had to have him! We kept the name from the shelter that was so fitting for him, Master Shifu! This boy is my heart & soul, our gentle giant. In Sept 2025 our Shifu fell ill. Running 104-106.4° temp for 3 weeks. All test came back with perfect results. Then Jan 2026 it came back and almost took him from us. He was unable to walk or hardly move on February 16th & went to MedVet. They believe he has FIP, but now 4 months later there is something else Neuro happening and he needs an MRI to diagnose. 4 month of FIP meds taken. Needs MRI. Shifu is the bestest big brother, he takes care of his 8 littles and he is a great little brother who loves to give chase to our older cat. He has the sweetest soul and is such a good boy. Loves to play fetch with his ball and loves to get belly rubs! Yes, I said belly rubs! He has the most beautiful “feather duster” tail that is 16” long and he is extremely handsome in his purrfect tux. Shifu has been on GS-441624 for 4 months and we can purchase the meds but need help with the cost of the MRI to fully diagnose his condition. We have spent a lot to get him back to his old (young) self. He has a lot of life left in him and we need him, he is a sweetheart!

Inde is a 2 month old American Shorthair in Franklin, OH, who needs $7,000 for Surgery.

Franklin, OH

Inde is a kitten I found off the side of the interstate after being struck by a car. She was rush to the closest vet where it was found she sustained 6 fractures to her pelvis and fractures/breaks to both hind legs. She was in the hospital until she was stable so that I could save some money to provide funds for her surgery. She is currently at home with us and will continue to stay with us. She has 6 fractures to her pelvis and fractures to both hind legs. She will be getting surgery at MedVet Cincinnati as they are the only ones that will perform the surgery on her. She’s a survivor. She has such a strong willpower to be here. She survived many hours in shock and pulled through all the challenges vets didnt expect her to overcome. For a kitten in her situation she is also very sassy, she does have an attitude but it fits right in with the other cats. I have a cat that has health issues and concerns that I’ve had the remaining of my funds tied to. I’m not able to financially provide the surgery for this kitten. I can scrap by to take her to follow-ups or rehab but the surgery is out of depth.

Lexington, KY

Milo is a pomsky (Pomeranian and husky mix). We got a from a breeder when he was 12 weeks old. Milo(my first love) is the abbreviation of our pets name. He has been with us from 2021. He is 4 years old and a very lovely pup. As you can see the photos and video. We want him to be part of our life after we tied our knot together and not leave us in the middle. Suddenly on 09MAY2026 he started having weird symptoms of water and saliva coming out of his mouth. Slight seizure and then loss of appetite. We immediately took him to the vet and they did a blood test and have preliminary condition as IMHA(Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia). We immediately took him to MedVet in Lexington KY after 24 hrs of his blood work when he developed jaundice. Milo has been with us since 2021 and had been through us in all our struggles. We have got recently married and our struggle for marriage for 4 years was seen by him. We had so much going on and right through every phase of our life we had him. He is our first son and so special and we loved him more than anyone. He interacts with his tiny growl and husky way of talking with us. We have been putting up whatever we have saved to bring him back and we need some extra money to help his body to support his immune system and help him recover. It would be much helpful if we have financial aid and it would bring back him back to us.

Harrison, OH

My dog, Vinny, came into our lives during a difficult season and quickly became the heart of our home. He has been a constant source of comfort for me and my elderly, disabled mother. After losing two pets and human loved ones this year, his presence has meant more to us than ever. Our dog, Vinny, now needs urgent, life‑saving surgery, and the cost is far beyond what we can manage. This is an emergency situation, not a long‑term condition—without surgery, we face the heartbreaking possibility of losing him. He is currently being treated at MedVet Cincinnati under the care of Angie Callahan, who explained that surgery is his only chance. Vinny is not just a pet—he is emotional support, companionship, and stability in our home. He curls up beside my mother when she is in pain and brings joy into a house that has seen so much loss. His gentle spirit, playful moments, and loving nature brighten even our hardest days. As the full‑time caregiver for my elderly, disabled mother, we live on a very limited income. This emergency is more than we can afford. Help with his surgery would save his life and keep our family together during a year already filled with heartbreaking loss.

I have had Groot since he was a tiny kitten, I got him after my fiancee passed away for comfort. I was only supposed to be taking his brother but his breeder asked me to take him home with me to help find him a home so he was not left alone. When I brought him home the boys were so bonded I could not separate them. They both now live at home with me. Groot recently began limping and guarding his back leg. I took him to the vet. I was sent home with pain medication and told to come back for x-rays in the morning so he could be sedated as he was in a lot of pain. After the x-rays my vet referred me to an orthopedic specialist stating that he has what looks to be bony pieces in both his back knee joint spaces. MedVet Cincinnati is doing surgery. He is the biggest teddy bear. Groot is such a sweet and loving boy. He and his brother have both brought me so much comfort since my fiancee passed. He loves to cuddle and lay on his back to have his belly rubbed. He also loves being playful but is mostly a loverboy. I have been living off of my late fiancees life insurance but am currently low on funds. I used to be a firefighter/paramedic full time but I witnessed her death and in turn had to leave the fire service and have been trying to find my place in the workforce since.

Ari is my third German Shepherd, but he is my first rescue. I saw a post on Facebook in March 2025 looking for someone to take him. I went to see him and you could tell he wasn’t used to living outside in a cage. He was confused and scared. The people I got him from said he had belonged to a 70 year old woman. He had gotten to be too much for her to handle so her family got rid of him. Ari was hit by a passing motorcycle. Luckily the driver of the motorcycle didn't wreck and wasn't hurt. The vet informed me that Ari had a broken right femur and presented two options: repair with pins or amputation. We had to move Ari to MedVet, it turned out Ari had a pneumothorax (collapsed lung) and required ICU care overnight and the following day. You could tell he wasn’t used to living outside in a cage. He was confused and scared. The people I got him from said he had belonged to a 70 year old woman. He had gotten to be too much for her to handle so her family got rid of him. Ari gives me peace of mind knowing that he isn't going to let anyone in our house. I was lucky to have a friend that was able to help me with the bills so that I could get Ari treated but I need to pay him back.

No one ever did. Within a week, he had stolen my heart and I officially adopted him. He’s been by my side ever since. He’s so full of love. I named him Dobby because he was abandoned him and now he’s free and loved A month ago, he needed an unexpected dental procedure and a lot of blood work with still no answers. He’s on daily pain medication to help him throughout the day. After the surgery, my primary vet referred us to MedVet because they couldn’t find out what was going on with him. We’ve since been referred to MedVet Cincinnati, where he’s now schedule a CT scan and another surgery. They suspect cancer Dobby is not a regular chihuahua. He’s super outgoing and friendly and just wants love from everyone. A week after adopting him he found a small puppy dying next to my recycling bin. They have been attached ever since. He is so behaved and just wants love, belly rubs and a lot of treats. I am on a low income. My dogs are my emotional support animals and I can’t be without them. Cincinnati, OH

Lucy is a fun loving 3 year old mini goldendoodle that I was so lucky to find as a rescue about a week after putting down my childhood dog from cancer. Lucy's favorite place is the the dog park where she can see her best apartment friends and play ball! Recently, Lucy has been adapting to sharing her home with a cat we found on our daily walks that also needed a home. I returned home from vacation to my worst nightmare; Lucy was diagnosed with lymphoma at 3 years old. Although she was acting her normal self, playing ball at the park, I noticed she lost a lot of weight while I was gone. I took her to the emergency vet because I had had hunch that something was wrong. She was misdiagnosed with Blastomycosis to find out it was lymphoma. Meet Lucy, the ball-obsessed, high-energy pup who never runs out of fun! Her beloved ball is never far from her side, she insists on placing it in the food bowl and tucking it into bed. She has learned how to open doors to sneak a treat whenever mom isn't looking. Her secret talent is walking on her back legs, especially when she spots a friend! Life with her is full of fun and endless joy! This diagnosis at such a young age was a complete shock that I am still trying to process. The whole situation started out with a hefty ICU bill on top the ongoing chemotherapy treatments. I am doing my best to give Lucy the best chance I can, but I am on a solo fixed income

Lucky was the smallest runt of the litter and the breeder let me have him for a much lower cost because of him being the runt. That's when we brought Lucky home in May of 2023. Vet: MedVet Cincinnati Lucky has renal kidney failure. They say he was possibly born with a kidney defect but are not ruling out leptospirosis. They think thw progression of kidney diseas could've been caused by injury, such as trauma, toxins or underlying health issues. He's responding well to treatment and they say he has a much better chance at survival with his response to the treatments. Lucky was the runt of the litter. He was so small they didn't know he was a puppy until he raised his head. They thought be was afterbirth. The vet told them with how small he was, he'd never survive. He was named Lucky because he was lucky and he beat the odds against him. He has been my baby since we brought him home and he absolutely loves everyone he comes in contact with. He's the light. I was laid off in July from my job of 6 years & I was unemployed until Nov. I was then laid off from my new job in Feb. Burlington, KY

Millie came into my life at 8 weeks old when I truly needed her the most. I was in college and really needed the emotional support due to other situations going on. Adopting Millie healed me in ways I can’t put into words and I would do it 100 times again. She is so loving and sweet everyone especially her human siblings and her cat sisters. She senses when someone is upset and comforts them. Millie will be getting surgery at MedVet Cincinnati. She has a Fragmented Coronoid Process and is in chronic pain. She can’t extend her elbow and has a significant head bob. She was completely fine one day and within 3 weeks, she could barely walk, could no longer go upstairs, and was barely eating or drinking. She is very sad due to no longer being able to play and do the things she loves. Millie is truly the best dog we could ever ask for. She is the most well behaved dog I’ve ever seen and has been since I brought her home. From day one she has not needed to be on a leash because she has never wanted to be out of my eyesight. She is very protective over her human siblings and so gentle with her brother who loves to play with her and feed her. Millie’s diagnoses was extremely sudden and unexpected. She was her normal playful self one day and then within a week she could no longer bear weight on her leg. It took multiple vet visits and a lot of money spent before we were able to determine her diagnosis.

Cincinnati, OH

Major's journey began when he was about 9 months old when a highway patrolman found him on the side of a highway. The officer took him to the local shelter in the hopes that his owner would find him. No one claimed him before the weekend when he was scheduled to be euthanized. Thankfully, the officer followed his case and contacted a rescue agency that took him in where we found him - best day! Just before Thanksgiving, he stepped on something and got a puncture wound in his paw. We took him to the vet (Noah's Ark) when we realized the wound was infected. His condition rapidly deteriorated and it turned out that the infection was tetanus. Fortunately, MedVet carries the antibodies to treat the infection. However, it required 6 days in hospital and many weeks convalescing at home. Major is a lover and leaner - everyone he meets is his new best friend. He is especially attached to the grandson and sticks to him like Velcro. Major is the gentlest big dog ever and takes care not to knock over toddlers and elders. He is aware of everyone's mood and leans in when he senses sadness. He has the best life chasing squirrels, rabbits, and wrestling his brother, Captain. The cost is ~$20,000 including physical therapy. Payment is required up front and our credit cards are maxed out and we used all our available cash. He needs follow-up care and therapy. The prognosis is 100% recovery. He is so strong and determined.

Spicy

Spicy is a 9 month old Cane Corso in Ashley, OH, who needs $2,000 for MRI SCAN and CSF Tap Procedure.

Ashley, OH • Must Love Corsos Rescue

* Must Love Corsos Rescue * Spicy is one of 27 Cane Corsos recently brought into our rescue from a confiscation in South Carolina. Spicy was saved from living a miserable life as a breeder. She has been spayed/neutered, heartworm tested and given core vaccinations. Spicy is currently living with a foster family who will become her forever family once all of her medical issues have been addressed. Spicy has had bilateral entropion surgery, a failed cherry eye tack, cherry eye removal and a spay. Just when we thought Spicy was healthy, she started showing signs of neurological issues - walking on the tops of her feet and losing control of her rear at times. An MRI was done on 5/2/2024 and showed an old, healed skull fracture. We are still waiting on the results from spinal fluid testing. Despite growing up in an outdoor kennel and being under-socialized, Spicy is a sweet puppy who loves people - even the vets. She really loves her foster family. They feel the same way and will be adopting Spicy as soon as she's healthy and ready for adoption. With her fosters' guidance, Spicy has quickly learned how to live in a house and understands her family will always come home to her. Intaking 27 Cane Corsos over 2-weeks and getting them spayed/neutered, heartworm tested and fully vaccinated was an expensive undertaking, but we have to make sure Spicy receives the additional medical care she needs. This MRI is critical to getting her properly diagnosed. Thank you for the support.

KING

KING is a 3-month-old German Shepherd in New Lebanon, OH, who needs $1,000 for Persistent Right Aortic Arch.

New Lebanon, OH

For Mother’s Day, my husband and my kids brought King and his sister, June, home. King holds a special place in our family. My husband and I both have kids from previous relationships, but due to my health issues, we will never have one of our own. That’s what our dogs are to us, a huge part of the family and a huge part of our hearts. King is a full of life puppy who loves to play with our kids and his dog siblings. When I come home from working as a nurse, King does his best to howl (in his puppy voice) because he is so excited to see me. He loves playing outside, playing in the water. Following his big sister around and napping. He loves watching tv, he is mesmerized by the movement. King has such a sweet soul and you can see in his eyes how gentle and loving he is. Looking at his face, I can’t imagine a reality in which I can’t save him, because in a way, he saved me. The silly puppy things he does always has someone laughing and smiling. Watching him play with our kids and other dogs lights up our life. King came home at 7 weeks and right away we noticed him regurgitating. While we waiting on the vet appointment, we tried slow feeder bowls, soft foods, elevating while eating. While all this helped, nothing solved the problem. We suspected something more and we were right. He was diagnosed with ‘persistent right aortic arch’. I am a nurse and my husband does construction. We have 4 kids between us and while we have what we need, we were not prepared and can’t afford such a large amount of money at one time. We don’t have the time to save up money due to his urgent need.

Buster

Buster is a 8-year-old Shih Tzu/Terrier Mix in Hillsboro, OH, who needs $2,000 for Right Perineal Hernia, Neuter, Mass Removal (Right Hind Limb).

Hillsboro, OH

Buster was picked up by our local Dog Pound about a month ago. He has been with me for about 3 weeks. He was extremally neglected and underweight. He has a perianal hernia and a mass with possible cancer cells that needs removed. Without this surgery it is life threatening. It took awhile to pick his name but he defiantly looks like a Buster. He has quickly fit in with his new family. Buster has fit in with his doggie brother Ollie and 2 sister cats Karen and Lanor. He is a very sweet natured dog and loves playing with his siblings. Despite the hard life he has had he interacts well with the whole family and has picked up quickly on house training and listens extremely well. We are currently working on fattening him up as he was skin and bones when he came to us a few weeks ago When we first brought Buster home he looked so sad and defeated. Life had really beaten him down. He now has nothing but love in his eyes. He loves chasing the cats around the house and bossing his brother around. He is very sweet and loving a despite the life he has is not mean or aggressive. His favorite thing is following me around and being loved on. Oh and his squeaky. He's diagnosed with Right Perineal hernia, neuter, mass (right hindlimb). He will require the hernia to be repaired, neutered and the mass removed which will need hospitalization 24 hours, anesthesia, IV catheter and fluids, medications to go home (some will be a written prescription), CBC/Chemistry, limited ultrasound. Full Recovery expected! Buster is a stray that found his way into our life a few weeks ago. We are not able to pay the full amount for his surgery which can be life threatening if not fixed.

Macie

Macie is a two-year-old Miniature Schnauzer in Georgetown, KY, who needs $2,000 for liver shunt surgery.

Georgetown, KY

Macie's life is on the line, and she needs your help! In October and December 2021, Macie had to have two emergency surgeries for bladder stones. This led her veterinarian to suspect she needed to see a specialist for a liver shunt. Dr. Karl Maritato at MedVet of Cincinnati performed an ultrasound and confirmed the suspected diagnosis. Now Macie needs extensive surgery for a portosystemic shunt (PSS) before the end of March. Macie's human parents, Anthony and Melissa J., are crushed because they can't afford the operation that will save their dog's life. "Macie is a daily companion for my husband who is disabled and home during the day," Melissa tells Waggle. "Anthony continues to be treated by the Mayo Clinic while I teach and sell crafts for extra income. But with Macie having two surgeries less than two months ago, it is creating a hardship to come up with the total amount needed for this life-saving surgery." This sweet dog is the center of the couple's world. "Macie was a gift from my husband after my other two schnauzers died three weeks apart. She was a cute little ball of fur that mended my heart immediately. Macie filled that void I couldn't and still cannot spend enough time with her," Melissa says. She brightens their day. "Macie makes me smile after teaching all day when I just need a break," Melissa says. "Every day when I get home, she immediately begins to growl and bark, so I will pick her up and hold her. Macie and I take walks daily, and she loves to chase the ball. My students at school always want to know what Macie May did last night and if I have any funny pictures of her." And she is extra special to Anthony. "They do chores around the house, and when possible, they go fishing together," Melissa adds. "Macie loves to see the fish come into the boat and wants to lick them. She ends each day on my lap watching TV in the evening and sleeps in her donut beside my bed." Please help Macie get a new "leash" on life!

Dallas Blu

Dallas Blu is a Yorkie puppy in Florence, KY, who needs $1,950 for parvo treatment.

Florence, KY

After many years of saying no and after a years of trauma I decided to get my girls a gift to make our family complete. I researched and this little puppy was in my price range. After my daughters therapist mentioned it may be good for my middle daughter to get a small emotional support dog I gave in. A week later our lovable energetic puppy became sick with parvo. My girls have fallen in love with Dallas Blu. He has completed our family in more ways than we could imagine. He is energetic and so beyond lovable. He’s already so spoiled with all the attention the girls give him. Dallas has given us something to laugh and smile about in these days of hardship. He keeps our Mind off other things and brings us all closer together. There hasn’t been a lot these days to cause my girls to laugh but he definitely does. And for my middle daughter he keeps her mind off being so stressed and depressed and gives her something to look forward to everyday. He’s so playful with all of them and became and instant member of our family We got him a week ago from a breeder who Insisted he had his shots and showed us the bottle and let us know he would send over the papers immediately (never did ). Metvet is keeping him over night for $2500 and may be a couple more days if he recovers. After the first 24 hours the bill is estimated at 6k. They have him hooked up to iv and watching him. I’m a single mom on a fixed income. I work full time. We’ve never imagined how close we would get to our Dallas Blu so fast and our hearts are already breaking that’s he’s away. However the price that could be ahead is outrageous and going to be almost impossible to achieve.
