Molly

Molly is a 4 year old Miniature Australian Shepherd in Watertown, NY, who needs $7,000 for Emergency Care.

Watertown, NY

Molly is a 4-year-old family dog who lives with us in our home in Watertown, New York. She has been a healthy, happy companion her entire life and is a beloved member of our family. Molly lives indoors with us and shares a close bond with everyone in the household, especially our young son, Luca. Prior to this accident, she had no significant medical issues and enjoyed an active, playful life. Our beloved dog was recently struck by a vehicle and suffered multiple serious injuries. She was rushed to CNY Veterinary Medical Center, where she has been receiving intensive emergency care. Her injuries include a partially collapsed lung with fluid accumulation requiring aspiration, bruising to her lungs, a fractured ramus of the mandible (jaw), and a concussion resulting from the trauma. Molly is the heart of our family and never misses a chance to make us smile. She's playful, goofy, and absolutely convinced the world revolves around her. She adores our baby boy, Luca, and is always by his side. Whether she's demanding attention or smothering us with kisses and cuddles, Molly fills our home with unconditional love and joy every single day. The cost of emergency care after our dog was struck by a vehicle has been overwhelming. Your support will help us continue her treatment and give her the chance to come home healthy again. Having our beloved family member back by our side would mean everything to us.

Brunswick, OH • Alleycats & Aristocats

Sgt Pembry was trapped by our rescue in Sept. 2023 at roughly 4 mts old. A few days into fostering it was found that he was having breathing difficulties while eating. He was a valuated at our vet where he was found to have mega esophagus. And he was given a grave life, expectancy. after extensive research, we found what works for him and he is eating well. Because Prembry was given a grave life expectancy, he was not socialize with people well. he’s become braver and stronger every day and loves his fellow house kitties and foster friends. He’s become attached to the people living within the home. Pembry is amazing by the way that he overcomes his obstacles, is thriving and enjoys a very full and happy life. Even though Pembry has bilateral front leg deformities, he does not let that stop him being a cat; running, playing and climbing. He truly is an inspiration. Pembry had an x-ray done at four months old and was found to have mega esophagus with suspected prominent right aortic arch deformity and was recommended to possibly have surgery. He will need further imaging studies and estimated cost for those and surgery is roughly $8000 at Metropolitan veterinary Hospital in Cleveland. His neuter will also be quite costly due to him being such a high risk. Pembry is considered extremely high risk for even neutering. He’s such an incredible kitten who we’ve all grown to love and want him to have the longest and best life ever.

Bailey

Bailey is a 8 year old Labrador Retriever in Ceres, CA, who needs $1,917 for Mass Removal & Histopathology for Spindle Cell Tumor.

Ceres, CA

Bailey is a beautiful chocolate Labrador Retriever born 9/10/2018, and she came into our lives through a truly special gift. Through the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and a generous breeder whom donated the puppy to my son Evan, who lives with multiple disabilities. We welcomed her to our family when she was eight weeks old, and Evan proudly chose her name. Bailey was recently diagnosed with a Spindle Cell Tumor by her Veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital in Tracy, California. The tumor on her leg needs to be surgically removed, although we have reduced some swelling it continues to grow. We were told that time is critical. If the tumor continues to grow, it may reach a point where surgery becomes more difficult or may no longer be an option. From the beginning, Bailey formed an extraordinary bond with Evan and has been his loyal companion, source of comfort, emotional support and best friend ever since. Bailey has remained by Evan’s side through countless medical challenges. Bailey is an irreplaceable part of Evan’s life. This is why Baileys health crisis is so heartbreaking to our family, she truly has been there in Evans need. Now it’s time to take care of Bailey, our family is doing everything we can, but we live on a very fixed income, and recent medical hardships our selfs. We need Bailey healthy and well so she can continue to be Evans life line, and best friend.

Luigi Meowgione

Free Luigi Meowgione from High Vet Bills

Grand Rapids, MI

One chilly October night, Luigi was ready to start his retirement from life outside. He’s enjoying being a house cat, but it sure is an adjustment. He went from a 15lb stray, non-neutered male in a neighborhood with a population problem (he was the problem) to a 19lb cozy fluffball. He knows it’s time to rest inside. He has so many good years ahead! Luigi is a handsome guy with magnetic energy. His stoicism and poise add decorum to daily life. But sometimes, he’ll suddenly turn into the silliest guy and steal everyone’s heart. Chasing his tail, bumbling around the house, and jumping straight up in the air when surprised. He’s seen how the rising costs of healthcare were affecting his fellow strays, and knows he’s one of the lucky cats! With the support of our community, I know he’ll live a long, healthy life. Luigi started having small accidents around the house, hiding, and acting strangely. It was an emergency urinary blockage! These can be life threatening for cats so he got to the hospital at 2am. He was treated with fluids, got some testing and came home. But 12 hours later he was back, needing a 2-day hospitalization and catheter. Luigi’s human was very stressed about the costs. But like so many faced with a medical emergency in the US, she had to make a quick call and deal with the crushing credit card debt later. Mr. Meowgione is home, recovering, purring on a lap. He hopes that this post spreads some much needed joy and appreciates anyone even considering supporting him!!

Donnie

Donnie Is Fighting to Survive After a Horrific Injury

WHITESTONE, NY • NYC Second Chance Rescue

Donnie has already endured more suffering than any dog should ever have to face. When he arrived at the shelter, rescuers were shocked by the severity of his injuries. Donnie was found with a devastating wound to his genital area. His penis was severely swollen, deeply lacerated, and showing signs of tissue death. Veterinarians believe the injury may have been caused by something being tightly wrapped around the area, cutting off circulation and causing extensive damage. The pain Donnie must have experienced is unimaginable. While the exact circumstances remain unknown, what is certain is that Donnie is now in urgent need of lifesaving medical care. Veterinary specialists have determined that Donnie will likely require an emergency perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery to survive. During this complex procedure, surgeons will remove the necrotic tissue and create a new pathway that will allow him to urinate normally. Without immediate treatment, Donnie faces the risk of severe infection, ongoing pain, and potentially life-threatening complications. Despite everything he has endured, Donnie is still fighting. NYC Second Chance Rescue has rushed him to an emergency hospital where he is receiving critical care and being evaluated for surgery. His medical team is doing everything possible to relieve his suffering and give him the chance at the healthy future he deserves. The cost of emergency hospitalization, surgery, medications, diagnostics, and post-operative care is significant, but turning away is not an option. Donnie deserves the opportunity to heal and to experience the kindness and compassion that every animal should know. Your donation will help provide the lifesaving treatment Donnie urgently needs. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings him one step closer to recovery. Please donate today and help NYC Second Chance Rescue give Donnie the second chance he so desperately deserves.

Roxy

Roxy is a 16-year-old Longhair Chihuahua in Santa Maria, CA, who needs $1,570 for urgent dental surgery.

Santa Maria, CA

I rescued Roxy, from a shelter seven years ago in February. She had been in the shelter since November. Nobody wanted her because she was a senior dog. I was looking for a senior dog. She was so sweet and calm and very loveable. I decided to come back the next day with my grandchildren, too make sure she got along with them. We were a perfect match! She loves kid's, people, and lots of attention. Roxy, has a favorite neighbor name Larry, every time she sees him, she runs to him, because he usually has a treat for her and she just loves him. She is a people dog and loves belly rubs and her fur brushed. She absolutely loves the grandkids when they came to visit. If they fall asleep on the floor she is snuggled up right next to them. Roxy, doesn't like loud noises, she will run and hide under the bed. She cracks me up when she moves her bed from room to room. I always feed her the same time I eat and she gets done before I do, then she sits and stares at me and nudges my leg with her cold little nose too let me know she wants my food. She is the best dog I've ever had. She doesn't bark, she is very well house trained. Roxy, needs several teeth removed they are abscessed to the point that her eye was nearly swollen shut. The antibiotics have helped to take the swelling down. The treating Vet is Dr.Elizabeth Ley atThe Orcutt Veterinary Hospital She is my preisous little girl, I don't know what I would do without her. She is my companion. I am a 71 year old senior, living on a fixed income, in low income housing for seniors. The actual total for Roxys medical procedure may vary between: $940.00 and $1564.00. This would be a great hardship on me financially. It would be a great blessing for us for any help.
