I have had Ace since he was born, literally. New Years Eve 2008 his mama, Roxie, went into labor and shortly after midnight he was born. Ace has been by my side through everything; graduating from college, having children, and losing my other dog Mya. He means the world to me and these past 15 years have just flown by. He is included in everything I do and every family celebration. On 4/22/2024 I came home from work and Ace was not able to walk. I took him to the vet the next day and they did a physical, x-rays, and bloodwork. His condition is neurological and he needs an MRI at Carolina Veterinary Specialists to determine if he has cancer, a tumor, or a slipped disc. The MRI quote I received was $4,000-$5,000. Ace has been a sweetheart since birth and absolutely loves anyone he meets. His favorite people however, are children. He always cuddles with my children and loves to sleep under their covers. He also swears he’s part human, he would rather sit in a chair than on the floor. He is a the sweetest boy and I’ve always been able to take him anywhere and around anyone. He steals everyone’s heart. Ace means the world to me. Getting this MRI will determine the cause of his pain which will allow his vet and I to make the appropriate decision for the next steps in his care and treatment. I just had a baby and money is tight right now. I spent my savings on vet visit.

Yes but unaware I bought from a mill. It changed me, to the core. When time came I walked into the shelter,. I seen him. He was shaking he was skinny. Our eyes locked and his eyes screamed "I will love you. I will be honest. I will be brave for you and I will learn. I will keep you from being alone and make you smile" owen has done this all for me, SO I OWE HIM SO MUCH, HE'SWORTH HIS WEIGHT IN GOLD From the beginning we have struggled come home with kennel cough. Next a double severe ear infection. Now my Owen has a bi-lateral caucarel tear. Which he has fracture both knees and needs surgery. He can barely walk now. He moans in pain. we bought a wheelchair and give him calming pills. He is 10 months old. He lays with me.I feel safe with him, as I also am diagnosed with ptsd he sleeps with me and I make it thru the night with no terrors. I need him I am 53 I have had 2 strokes and ankle replacement. I am on disability and single. Owen is my life partner. I recently had to move back home,and he is here always.

Bentley is a cockerspaniel and pekingese mix. Bentley just turned 11 on March 23rd. We live in a home on the end of a private road community. Bentley fit in the palm of my hand at one week old. He was so Itty bitty. Bentley was brought in for emergency visit last week with a severe infection in his gums. We were told he NEEDS surgery to help with his dental issues. He wasn't eating, sleeping all day and puss coming out of his gums. The meds have helped but is only masking the main issue that needs to be done and that is by having surgery. Bentley is a snuggle bug. Loves to go for walks around the yard. Loves going for car rides and seeing people in stores that he visits every weekend. Bentley has helped me every day. I have depression and anxiety. He helps to lessing those feelings. Has been my savior. We've had Bentley since he was only 8 weeks old. He means the world to us. I've been out of work for 3 years and have applied for disability. I'm unable to work due to medical issues. Our account has depleted dramatically since I got done working. My husband is the only one working to support us.

We adopted him as a kitten in 2009. He’s been a beloved part of our family and has travel with us across the country when we were in the military. We are hoping to get him home and let him live out his years peacefully. My cat had a subcutaneous ureteral bypass (sub) placed in July 2022. It has calcium buildup and isn’t working. He started having issues again in April 2024. They said there’s a small stone in the same ureter and a stone in the bladder. He needs surgery. We adore Thumbtack. He’s such a smart and wonderful cat. Our four kids have always known him being there and they’ve been begging us to find a way to save him. We don’t have the funds to be able to afford another surgery for him. It would mean the world to us and our four kids to be able to bring him home. He is just the best cat.

The force is strong with this pup!! Leia has cracked her tooth and needs dental surgery to have it removed before it gets infected. She goes to Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital. I are to see her in pain and could really use your help. Leia loves to play with everyone in her family! In her younger years she loved to do agility. Now she loves her long walks and lounging in the sun!! She is also a snuggler and needs to sleep with mom and dad every night. My husband and I have been struggling a bit with the increased cost of living. We both work but it is still a struggle to keep on top of bills and simply everyday expenses. I know we should have had money set aside for our fur baby but we are just living paycheck to paycheck

Chungus came to us in storybook kind of way. We took our husky/lab mix, Nunu, to a local shelter for some play dates. She met with a few and stayed to herself the whole time. Cue Chungus, stage left. He was just walking out of a vet exam when we saw him. Scrawny and underweight, Nunu had finally taken an interest in someone. After instantly becoming best friends, Nunu had made our decision easy. Chungus has a growth that, although was hidden by his fur, has been growing for a few months. He recently went to the vet and they took a sample and said it was most likely a fatty tumor and had arranged for surgery to remove it. During the surgery the vet realized it was more intense than a simple fatty tumor. They sent a sample to BluePearl and the results came back as a grade 2 sarcoma. At 115lbs, Chungus still thinks of himself as a lap dog. Always looking for the next head rub or ear scratch. Chungus and Nunu are inseparable. His recent visits to the vet without her have left her confused being home alone. She will whine nonstop until he walks back through the door. He's her protector from thunderstorms. And she's his pillow during snuggle time. The current estimate is $20,000. I never expected to hear a number like that when this process started. We've been trying to save to purchase our first home, but haven't been able to make much progress. Now all of that will barely put a dent in his medical expenses.

Brownie came into our lives by a simple birthday request from my daughter Leilani and a random Facebook post to adopt a rabbit October 2022. He is our one and only Boss baby pet lol. A wonderful gift. My daughter picked his name from the fur color. His nicknames are papa chat, brown brown and Barnaby. Brownie is a cuddler, he loves giving licks and treat puzzles that he can’t enjoy now Mid way into us having brownie he started to develop a little discharge from one of his nostrils with light sneezing. We ended up moving out of our place we lived at and his nose got worse shortly after. Which this was around March 2023 and we took him to Stahls in Fairfax. At this time his nose and eyes were constantly leaking discharge and fluids. He was treated as an emergency. Brownie is so special to my daughter and I because he has been the best support animal for my daughter and including myself. Brownie is a joy to have around the house. From his kisses, bonking, cuddles, and adventures personality. My daughter loves him so much and it helps my daughter with being responsible. The family loves him and enjoys when we visit and all the FaceTime calls and pictures. As a single parent it has been hard for my daughter and I to maintain. One of the things was I haven’t really been able to celebrate my daughter’s birthday due to financial reason. As a first time rabbit owner I wasn’t prepared at all. I’m trying my best to seek resources

Zaylee may is my baby girl who I’ve had for around 3 months she is 5 months old! I got her from someone who was giving the puppy’s away to good homes! She is my best friend baby my everything Zaylee sleeps in her xl dog cage at the end of my bed she is on a very structured routine so when she is ready for bed she comes to the side of my bed waiting for me to take her shirt off and collar off then she gives me lovings and then goes and crawls into her bed in her cage! She is a very well trained baby girl I forget she is not human at times! She loves to play fetch and she loves attention Zaylee is so smart she already sits lays down stays waves hi when told to do so she smiles really big too when she is happy! Very smart loving puppy she is She got diagnosed with parvo two days ago I’m only 16 yrs old I paid my last $400 to my name to get her the at home kit to treat her but I’m not educated enough to do what she needs I don’t think she is going to go to Savannah mo vet and they said it will be $500 for the stay to get her what it is she needs to beat this horrible disease I live with my mom who is barely making it check to check she is a single mom of 4 and has no family close all hrs and hrs away from us! I do work but I’m also in school full time for a couple more yrs! I would be so grateful for any help I could get for my baby she’s my bff
