Grace was found on the streets of Cairo, Egypt, with a cannula still in her leg. 💔🐾 This sweet senior girl has already been through more than she ever should have. Since arriving at the shelter, Stray Dog Support has been supporting her medically and making sure she receives the special renal food she needs. But they wanted to know what was really happening inside Grace’s aging body. So they took her to the veterinarian for bloodwork. They're still waiting for her results, but one thing is certain: Grace’s care has begun, and they’re not going to stop now. Because Grace is a senior, she will most likely spend her remaining years at the shelter. But that doesn’t mean she should simply grow old there without the medical care, nutrition, comfort, and love she deserves. ❤️ Please consider making a donation for Grace. Hey there, Sparky is a very sweet loving cat. I had rescued him from someone that I knew abused their pets. He was living inside my home since I got him in December until couple weeks ago. I had to let him go outside because of his tail. I really wish I had the money to get his tail fixed and then he would be inside with us where he belongs. Sparky needs his tail amputated. I haven’t took him to a hospital or clinic at the moment being I don’t have the funds at the moment I have been out of work due to health issues. If I can get help, he will be seen at the nearest hospital or vet. Sparky is very loving cat. He’s a very snuggle, buddy his recovery matters to us as his family because he is very loving and passionate when he’s not hurting and he needs to return back inside with his family instead of staying on my back porch. Once he is back healthy, he will not be returning back outdoors where he can be in fights. At the moment, I am out of work due to health issues. I had surgery in August. I will be returning to work ASAP. I am needing help for getting Sparky‘s tail fixed once I’m back to work. I will pay it forward once I’m able to. I love pets and Sparky my pet.

Prayu Almost Gave Up...

Soltis Hope Street Animal Rescue

By the time help reached Prayu, this gentle street dog looked as though he had almost given up. From his face and ears to his back and frail legs, Prayu’s body was covered in raw, damaged skin, thick crusting, scabs and painful wounds. A severe parasite burden had been taking its toll for far too long, leaving him weak, dehydrated and exhausted. Thankfully, kind people noticed his suffering and contacted Solti's Hope Street Animal Rescue, keeping him safe until rescuers could arrive. When the team approached, Prayu was quiet and withdrawn. He simply looked up at them as if he wasn’t quite sure whether he could trust that help had finally come. Prayu was gently lifted into the rescue vehicle and brought to the sanctuary clinic, leaving his life on the streets behind. There, he quietly allowed the veterinary team to examine him and begin the care he so desperately needed. Treatment is now underway for Prayu’s wounds, infections, dehydration and parasites. His recovery won’t happen overnight. He will need continued veterinary care, nutritious food, medication and plenty of time for his damaged skin and weakened body to heal. But Solti's Hope wants to give Prayu more than physical healing. They want to see confidence return to this defeated boy and help him discover what it feels like to be safe, comfortable and loved. There is still hope for Prayu, but he needs our help to reach the other side of this. Please consider donating toward his treatment and recovery. Remy Was Being Eaten Alive...Until We Found Him 💔

Remy is our newest rescue, and the condition we found him in is almost impossible to put into words. After someone reported spotting him, our team rushed out to find him - and immediately knew there was no time to lose In the intense summer heat, even a small untreated wound can quickly become infected and infested. Flies lay their eggs inside the exposed tissue maggots can begin eating away at the wound. By the time we found him, nearly half of his face had rotted away. Maggots had eaten through the tissue surrounding his eye, severely deforming his face and destroying the eye completely. And somehow, through all of this, Remy had been surviving alone on the streets. We rushed Remy straight into emergency veterinary care. Our first priority is to stabilize him and control his pain, clean his wounds and try to remove the remaining infection. Remy is also severely underweight and malnourished. His body has been fighting infection while receiving nowhere near the nutrition it needs. Right now, we urgently need to raise funds to help cover Remy's daily medications, wound dressings, continued treatment, and his eventual surgery. For far too long, he had no one looking out for him. No one treating his wounds. No one taking away his pain. Today, he finally does. But giving Remy the chance to recover will require extensive veterinary treatment in the days and weeks ahead. Cryo: A Gentle Heart Deserving of a Forever Family

When Cryo was rescued on a cold, rainy day in January 2026, he was in pain—but that didn't stop him from reaching for the people who came to help him. Even in those first moments, Cryo was eager for affection, showing the gentle, loving personality that makes him such a special dog. At 7 years old, Cryo is a lovable pit mix with a unique story and an even bigger heart. A DNA test revealed that he is 39% Pit Bull and 11% Border Collie, along with several other breeds. But there is no test needed to tell us what matters most about Cryo: he is incredibly sweet, affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he is close to his people. Cryo has already endured more medical challenges than any dog should have to face. He underwent a difficult heartworm treatment, including painful moments when he cried out from the discomfort. He has also undergone bilateral FHO surgery and is now working hard through rehabilitation as he continues to recover. His journey isn't over yet. Cryo will need ongoing physical therapy, as well as an implant to treat a condition affecting his eye. Donations to Cryo's campaign will help Corridor Rescue cover the costs of the medical care he has already received, as well as the continued treatment and supportive care he needs, including: Bilateral FHO surgery: $2,383 Heartworm treatment: $390 Physical therapy consultation: $148 Ophthalmic ointment: $50 per tube; Cryo has already used four tubes, with additional ointment needed until his eye implant Eye implant: approximately $100, plus associated veterinary costs, which have not yet been estimated Ongoing joint supplements: needed three times a year to support his mobility and comfort throughout his life These expenses reflect the significant medical care Cryo has already needed, along with the continued treatment and supportive care ahead of him. In 2018, a volunteer found a frightened, very pregnant dog wandering the streets. She was exhausted, alone, sickly, and nearing the end of her pregnancy. We named her Katie. Because Katie was already an older dog (about seven years old at the time) she struggled during labor and needed emergency veterinary help delivering her puppies. Thankfully, Barb’s Dog Rescue was able to provide it, and all of her puppies survived. One by one, each of her precious babies found a loving home. Katie did not. Katie has spent the last eight years quietly watching hundreds of other dogs leave Barb's Dog Rescue with families of their own. While she's always been a little shy, likely a result of her past life trauma, she's become a beloved member of our rescue family—a gentle soul who has found comfort in the people who care for her every day. While we don't know her history, we can tell you that for the last eight years, Katie has known nothing but gentle pets, kind, soft words, a cozy bed and toy galore, and pure love. Katie lives among the staff, free to roam as she pleases, and anywhere she lays her head, there's always someone to give her a belly rub and pat on the head. Today, Katie is a senior dog living with painful osteoarthritis in her hips. Fortunately, a monthly Librela injection gives her relief from the chronic pain caused by arthritis, allowing her to move comfortably and enjoy the life she deserves. She also receives regular dental care, monthly exams and bloodwork, and takes daily supplements to help keep her healthy as she ages. At the ripe old age of 15, we've seen to it that her health is consistently monitored and her comfort is top of mind. Since 2024, Katie has received 25 monthly Librela injections, helping her stay comfortable through her senior years. These treatments have cost more than $2,800, and they remain an essential part of her ongoing care, along with her monthly checkups (100$ per visit), and her supplements (150$ per month). At Barb's Dog Rescue, we believe every dog deserves love and comfort—especially the ones who find their forever homes with us--we are her big, happy human family, and Katie has hundred of furry brothers and sisters, as well. Katie has spent years watching others begin new lives. While we still hope her perfect family is out there somewhere, our promise to Katie remains the same: she will always have a home with us. KeKe came into your life long before she understood what the word home meant. She is now 13 but came to us as a months old kitten. She was not aware how to eat, so we had to bottle feed her for the first few months. We also taught her how to stay warm and use the litter box. She has proceeded to teach us about love over these 13 years, our first pet together as a married couple. Keke started acting strange one afternoon and then had an accident while sitting on my wife's lap. She the began to act extremely lethargic and her stomach swelled very large. After arriving at the ER vet the outcome was found the be pancreatitis. The case was so severe she was kept overnight for fluids, medicine, and monitoring at Carolina Animal Specialty & Emergency in Hickory, NC. KeKe is special in the way only a rescue who grew up loved can be — she carries her history, her quirks, and her gratitude in every little thing she does. KeKe doesn’t just meow; she speaks. Her sounds have meaning — the short chirp when she greets us, the drawn-out meow when she wants attention, the soft trill when she’s excited. The unfortunate event of her situation being so bad that she had to stay overnight is a major unexpected expense. It would mean relief after days and weeks of worry. That moment when you realize you can breathe again because she’s comfortable.

I owned Riley’s mom for 8 years and hoped for a playmate, but Riley was rehomed to someone who severely abused and neglected her for a year and a half. After rescuing her back, she became my absolute world. Because of her past trauma, she is my only pet and needs specialized care, but she has so much love to give Riley has a Grade 2 heart murmur causing severe weakness, shallow breathing, and choking episodes. Monday's echocardiogram estimate is $540, but we need approximately $700 total to cover both the scan and the vital medications she must start immediately to stop her heart from enlarging further. Next Step: On Monday, ask Riley is my ultimate snuggle bug and sleeps right beside me every night. Because I saved her from a bad situation, she clings to me with so much love and trust. She’s scared of thunder, but she loves her special talking toys! Riley isn't just a pet—she is my whole heart, my baby, and my entire world I am a 56-year-old divorcee unable to work following a back and knee injury. Riley has been part of our family since she was just 9 weeks old. My son raised her from a puppy, and she grew up surrounded by love. When he relocated to another state and could no longer care for her, I stepped in without hesitation. Since then, Riley has been right by my side. She’s not just a pet, she’ my grand puppy. She’s been a constant companion, bringing love, comfort, and joy. What we initially thought was a simple urinary tract infection has turned into something much more concerning. Riley was taken to Banfield pet hospital, twice. Both times, she was given antibiotics. What once was a trace of blood has now become more, issues with holding her urine. She he urgently needs diagnostic testing and treatment to determine what’s wrong and how to help her. She grew up side by side with her human sister, Naomi, who is now 5 years old. The two of them were inseparable. Wherever Naomi was, Riley was right there with her. She would gently lay her head on Naomi while she slept, like she was keeping watch over her. When Naomi was little, Riley would crawl along the floor with her, matching her pace, playing and staying close like a true companion. At the present time, I’m barely making ends meet. Since COVID, my rent has increased by $400, which has made it difficult to handle unexpected expenses like this. Veterinary care, testing, and possible treatment costs are quickly adding up.
