Tombo

Tombo is a 5-month-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $2,000 for Right Sacroiliac Luxation Fracture Repair.

Las Vegas

I found Tombo in the middle of a busy road crawling on 8/22. I thought he was just scared by the oncoming traffic while crossing, but when I stopped to help, I noticed he was dragging his back legs. I took him straight to my vet, and found out he was a stray. The sad news is after the X-ray, it shows that his hip is broken in 3 parts and needs to be taken to a special clinic for hip surgery. After scheduling with the special clinic, Tombo spent two nights with us. once he was fed and taken painkillers, he was eager to explore, disregarding how he couldn’t put any weight on his legs. His purring would resonate throughout the room when I petted him and fed him. Me and my roommate fell in love with him right away, we have to save him. He has a strong fighting spirit, yet cries out at night when he’s feeling lonely. I see the little explorer in him, he's also very calm when my dog tries to see him. Even though we only met for 2 days, I wanted to provide him with a life and a safe home Tombo is a stray who got into a hit-and-run, and I want to save his life. I took him to LVVSC, the doctor estimated Tombo’s age to be around 4-5 months because his growth plate was still there. The doctor will put screws to attach the broken parts, given the age, he expects him to have a full recovery The special surgery isn’t cheap, it is almost 5k, we need this surgery, he can’t heal on his own. I’m using my emergency funds to save his life, and I believe it’s the right thing to do. Tombo is still a baby, and I want to provide him with the life he deserves

Panda

Panda is a 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Newton, MA, who needs $1,800 for Urethrostomy, Perineal.

Newton, MA

We rescued Panda bears and his 3 siblings when they were just born in April 2021. His mom was a garage cat and not being taken care of. We also found a loving home for their mama! Panda lives with his two pet parents and his 3 litter mates and they are the best of friends. While panda is away getting the help he needs, they are patiently waiting for his return. Panda is the most vocal out of all of our cats. He says hello to you in the morning and throughout the day and he will tell you when you are a minute late for dinner! His love language is head bunting, and gives them frequently and even sometimes a little too rough. He is kind to all his siblings, but will sometimes bother his sister Callie the most by chasing her around until she plays! Panda is the sweetest little boy. He has a favorite toy we call “Mr. hedgehog.” We are not sure why he is so attached to it, but he brings it around everywhere. If he ever loses it, he walks around the house calling out for it until we help him find it! When Panda is very relaxed he loves to stick his tongue out. We just think it is the cutest thing ever! About a month back we noticed panda straining to use the bathroom. We took him in and he had to be unblocked. We thought he was doing really well. Complete change in his diet, very low stress etc. Most recently, it happened again, was unblocked but now needs PU surgery. We love our pets so much and would do anything for them. At this point Panda’s medical bill has exceeded what we could never imagine. We are up to $10,000 in costs. We need Panda in our lives for as long as possible, so anything, anything would help! ❤️

Zoey

Zoey is a 14-year-old Tortoiseshell Calico in Clinton Township, MI, who needs $1,500 for evaluation and treatment.

Clinton Township, MI

I met Zoey when she was a baby and then, she was abandoned outside. I took her in early June of 2007, but she was born in April. She's an Aries girl. She's friendly and codependent at the same time. I named her after David Bowie. Bowie to Zoey due to how she looks and her character. Zoey detests her own kind so, I couldn't get her a friend to chill with and I tried. Zoey is a clinger and loves to play. She doesn't go outside much, but she like to see outside through and open window and chill. She does tend to not like many people or other furry creatures which is just part of her personality. She just wants her human in eye view. Zoey is just a fun creature to live with and very loving/caring. I was in a car accident a few years back and I've been paying off medical bills. Insurance company didn't help me with my injuries either. I can't afford Zoey's upfront costs and I don't have a credit card. I pay for everything without assistance. Zoey needs the money. Zoey has been having diarrhea, which I've been watching, and what appears to be blood in her urine the last couple days. She isn't feeling well or completely being herself. She needs to see her doctor/vet. Her veterinarian is located at: Royal Oak Animal Hospital and their # is (248) 542 - 7330 and they have been taking care of her since 2007. Zoey loves to play through out the house, get into stuff, run around and find/make new hide outs so, I have to search for her. She seems to like this as a form of play, I think. She's always happy when I'm home and not so happy when I have to leave. She is a clinger so, she has to be near me. Zoey eats Nutro cat food and organic treats. She loves treats.

Doria

Doria is a 3 month old Mix-Breed in Ewing, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Panleukopenia ICU Care.

Ewing, NJ • EASEL Animal Rescue

Doria first came to us from a high-volume shelter in Trenton, NJ, along with her three other siblings. They were supposed to be safe. They were supposed to have a future. But soon after arriving in her foster home, everything took a turn for the worst. First, Doria's sister fell ill. Her tiny body became weak, and she was rushed to the ICU. Just as we began to see her stabilize, Doria collapsed. We can't describe the heartbreak we felt when doctors finally gave us the diagnosis - both sisters had Panleukopenia. Doria is now fighting for her life at BluePearl Pet Hospital, completely dependent on the medical team to keep her going. Doria has an NG tube placed, is receiving plasma transfusions, and is being treated with multiple medications to combat infection and sepsis. The hospital staff describes Doria and her sister as absolute rays of light—sweet, affectionate, and full of love despite how horribly they feel. They were failed long before they got to us. They likely contracted this virus from the home they were surrendered from, a place where they should have been given basic medical care, where a simple vaccine could have saved them from this nightmare. We cannot continue her hospitalization without financial support. Her medical bills are mounting by the day, but without intensive care, she will not survive. Doria is fighting every second to live. She refuses to give up. Every dollar gives her another chance.

Photo of Lexii Lexington

Lexii Lexington

Lexii Lexington is a 1-year-old Mastiff Pitbull mix in Brighton, CO, who needs $2,000 for Ureteroneocystostomy.

Morrison, CO

Lexii came to us by a happenstance. In the heart of covid we knew we were ready to get a new baby for the family. A fur baby. We found her and her sister (Emma) on craigslist. At 8 weeks old these little ladies were not getting picked up. So we dived in as a family and went for it. But little did we know our little brindle lady would require a lot of medical care. Lexii is just as wild as she kind. Her smile alone can brighten any day. Seeing her booty wiggle and the tail just a wagging. She loves to lay in the sun with her sister Emma. They love the water, dog park, run's and anything outside. Lexii loves to cuddle up with her two human siblings. We share healthy dog and human snacks and watch movies in our cali king size bed every Friday night. We confirmed this with an ultrasound that she has an etopic ureter on her right side. In order to clear her of all and any recurring infections we need to do the surgery to fix the ureter or her life span will fall from 12-15 year's to maybe 3 at max. We do not want to lose. As the months went by we noticed Lexii was leaking urine. Constantly. She was completely potty trained. She would ask to go outside. Then around 10 month's old I noticed there was blood in her urine. We took her in. She has an extremely bad UTI that was now going into her kidney's. Her Vet said she could possibly have what is called 'Etopic Ureters'. Lexii loves to play with her sister Emma. They play all day long. From chasing each other around the house and yard to tug o war these two are inseparable. Lexii loves her human babies as well. She loves to play in the hose, fetch and laying in the sun beam with mom. After getting all toasty warm Lexii loves to go cuddle dad and watch her nature shows.

Photo of Horus

Horus

Horus is a 9 month old American Shorthair in Sinking Spring, PA, who needs $4,500 for MRI.

Sinking Spring, PA

Horus is a kitten rescued from the streets, he entered my life by chance, my husband wanted to adopt a kitten and when we went to look for her at the rescuer's house I fell in love with Horus since I saw him, he was 3 weeks old, and he was super playful. Without a doubt I took it. They were very hungry, on the way home I gave them a Churu and their hunger was so great that Horus bit my finger He was always a healthy cat and loved to eat a lot. For three months it has not been the same as before. Little by little he stopped playing and hid in places where he couldn't reach him, I worried and began to take him to the vets, because he felt like his back hurt. So far they haven't been able to tell me what he has. The last thing left to do is to do an MRI. I need help to do that study. He loved to play, he was very attached to me, when I arrived from work he went with me to the bathroom, and if I sat on the toilet he climbed on my legs and sometimes to not lower it they spent up to 10 minutes with him on my legs, when I entered the bathtub he waited for me, and he didn't stop talking to me, he always had to take his head out of the bathtub and tell him "I'm here". I'm separating from my husband, and I'm in charge of my three rescued cats. I have spent the few savings I had on veterinary consultations and medicines. I have no way to support the medical examinations that Horus needs
