Siggy

Siggy is a 11-month-old American bully in Bradford , ME, who needs $1,800 for Amputation of Right Leg.

Bradford, ME

Siggy is almost a 1 year old American bully (4/27/22). We own Siggys mother, father, grandmother, grandfather and sister and half brother. She is loved and adored by her 3 human boys 14,12,10 years old. Siggy was supposed to be a show dog until this horrible incident happened. Our youngest son sleeps with her every night, this is his baby as he likes to say. Siggy is a spunky, out going, loveable American bully. We thought we had lost her due to her being shot and us not being able to locate her body. 3 days after this situation she came home, walked out of the woods. Our youngest son spotted her and lost it with joy to see his dog was alive, shot but alive. He refused to leave her side when we took her to the vet Siggy has the most softest eyes, she gives probably the best snuggles. She not only pushes her whole body into your chest but she will rest her head on your heart. She is warm loving little girl who proves daily miracles do happen. After being shot and lost in the woods for 3 days. She needs her leg amputated to be able to live a normal, healthy life. Siggy left our yard on 4/1/23, our neighbor down the road shot her. We thought she had passed in the woods with the massive amount of blood that she left, we didn't find her while we searched. The maine state police came to help look for her the officer said to my husband and I that he would guess she is either about to bled out or she did bled out due to the amount of blood. We are on a very tight budget, my husband works 40 hrs a week and trys to get overtime. We spent all of our savings on her initial care of 481. She just recovered from Pneumonia and now needs her leg amputated

Piper

Help Piper Keep Chasing Adventures

Catawba, NC • Legacy Paws Rescue

Piper has been waiting longer than any other dog at Legacy Paws Rescue for her forever family. And if you know Piper, you know that’s hard to understand. She is pure joy. Piper loves exploring the trails, hunting for crawfish in the creek, riding in the Jeep, and playing catch... especially when it means diving after her ball in the water. But her favorite thing? Her massages. The moment she feels those gentle hands, Piper melts. She stretches out her legs, gives you the other side when she’s ready for more, and wags her entire body with happiness. It’s impossible not to smile when you see how much love and trust she has to give. A few months ago, we noticed something wasn’t quite right. After big days playing on the trails and in the creek, Piper was much more sore than usual. Then two of her friends came to visit for a week. Both had been previously adopted, and Piper was so excited to spend time with them again. They played hard, explored, and enjoyed every moment together... but afterward, Piper struggled. Some days, she could barely walk after those long days of fun. Seeing Piper, a dog who loves life so deeply, struggle was heartbreaking. She has now been referred to an orthopedic specialist, and this Friday we finally get answers. We’ll learn what is happening, what she needs, and how we can help her stay comfortable so she can keep doing the things she loves. At Legacy Paws Rescue, we believe our commitment doesn’t end while a dog waits for a family. Piper is loved, valued, and supported every step of the way. Please consider donating to help Piper receive the orthopedic care she needs. Every gift helps give her the chance to keep exploring, playing, and sharing the incredible love she has been waiting to give. Piper has waited so patiently for someone to choose her. Now, we’re asking our community to choose her too. 7/19/26 Update Today was a difficult day for Piper. We took her to see an orthopedic specialist, thinking her pain was coming from her hips. Instead, we received unexpected news. The problem isn't her hips at all. It's both of her knees. While it wasn't the news we were expecting, we finally have answers and, most importantly, a plan to help her. Piper will undergo the first of two surgeries this Thursday. After 8 to 10 weeks of recovery, she will need a second surgery on her other knee. It will be a long road, but we're committed to helping her every step of the way. One bright spot during today's appointment was Piper's incredible specialist. He took the time to explain exactly what is happening with her knees, allowed us to record his explanation, filmed her orthopedic exam, and will even be documenting her surgery. We hope sharing these videos will not only help others understand Piper's journey, but also raise awareness for other dogs who may be silently living with orthopedic pain. Dogs are incredibly good at hiding discomfort. By the time they start limping, struggling to get up, or slowing down, they may have been hurting for much longer than anyone realized. We hope Piper's story encourages more people to recognize those signs and seek veterinary care before the pain becomes even worse. As we prepare for Piper's first surgery, we are asking for your continued support. Your donations will help cover her orthopedic surgeries, follow up care, and rehabilitation so she can finally live the active, pain-free life she deserves. Thank you for standing with Piper. We can't wait to share more updates as she begins her journey toward recovery. 7/24/26 Update We have an update on this sweet girl! She's finally back home and resting after her procedure. As expected, she's experiencing quite a bit of pain and doesn't want to walk much right now, but she's recovering well and is surrounded by lots of love and comfort. The next few days will be focused on rest, pain management, and giving her body the time it needs to heal. While it's hard to see her uncomfortable, this is a normal part of the recovery process, and we're hopeful she'll begin feeling stronger with each passing day. Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared her story, and kept her in your thoughts. Your support is helping give her the care she needs, and we couldn't do it without you. We'll continue to keep you updated on her recovery as she heals. 8/1/26 Update The first few days after surgery were incredibly difficult, but we're happy to share that Piper is beginning to walk again with the help of her dedicated caregiver. Using a support sling to help take some of the weight off her healing leg, Piper is slowly taking those important first steps toward recovery. Every step is gentle, carefully supervised, and taken at her own pace, but seeing her up and moving is a huge milestone. We also want to shine a light on the incredible person caring for Piper through this journey. Her caregiver has completely rearranged life to make sure Piper has everything she needs. She's sleeping on the floor beside Piper each night, monitoring her around the clock, helping her stand and walk, staying on top of medications, and putting everything else on hold to give Piper the best possible chance at a smooth and successful recovery. Recovering from orthopedic surgery isn't just about the procedure itself. It takes patience, constant care, and an incredible amount of love. Thankfully, Piper has all three. While she's making wonderful progress, her journey is far from over. She still has weeks of rehabilitation ahead of her before she'll be ready for the second surgery on her other knee. Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared Piper's story, and cheered her on. Your generosity is making this recovery possible and helping ensure she receives the specialized care she needs every step of the way. If you'd still like to help, donations are greatly appreciated as Piper continues her long road toward a pain free, active life. From all of us, and especially from Piper, thank you for believing in her.

Tiki

Tiki is a 10 year old Siamese in Saint Augustine, FL, who needs $1,000 for surgery on her head 🌱.

Saint Augustine, FL • Feline Fairies

Hello. My name is Tiki. I have a long backstory, which I will share, but right now I need your help so I can get a hard bean-sized cyst removed from my head. I need the cyst removed because it keeps growing, and the veterinarian said if it gets too big, he will not be able to stitch the skin back together properly. The veterinary estimate for surgery, biopsy, and recovery is $1,000. I used to live with an elderly gentleman, but he passed away and no one in his family wanted me. So I went to live with a foster from the rescue. And, I did very well, too. I had veterinary care, healthy meals, and a nice foster home. I was adopted in 2022, but was returned this past December to my former foster home for medical fostering At that time, I was in critical condition😔. I had a severe leg wound similar to 2nd and 3rd degree burns that had gone untreated for nearly two months, I lost approximately one-third of my body weight, and was painfully thin. I had been neglected and was also diagnosed with psychogenic alopecia💔🐱. Since returning to care, I have made remarkable progress✨. I've gained weight, my leg wound has fully healed, and the fur around the injury is growing back. With a greatly improved diet, my coat is filling in, becoming soft and shiny again.💕 I am thriving and am playing again.🧶🐾. But now I need that hard, bean-sized cyst removed from the top of her head. It continues to grow and surgery is the only option. I would like to continue my journey, and get adopted into a loving, good home. May God Bless you and may Saint Francis bless me with your help. 🐾✨I

Skyler

Skyler is a 3 year old Old English Bulldog in Mt. Pleasant , SC, who needs $3,000 for Entropion Eye Surgery with an Ulcer Removal.

Mt. Pleasant, SC

Before she came into our family, Skye lived a heartbreaking life. She was kept outside 100% of the time, used only for breeding, and never experienced what it meant to be part of a family. She wasn’t someone’s companion—she was simply a way to produce puppies. Years of neglect left both emotional and physical scars. When we met Skye, we knew she deserved better. As a teacher & a police officer, our family leads with a servant heart. We were prepared for the responsibility of giving Skye the retirement she deserves. What we didn’t know was just how extensive her medical needs would be. We have now learned she needs eye surgery & urinary tract surgery in addition to the ongoing treatment of her alopecia & severe allergies.(Marsh Tide Vet & Chs Animal Eye) For the first time in her life, Skye has a warm bed, a family who loves her unconditionally, and people who see her as more than a puppy mill. Despite it all, Skye is warm, loving, and is the cutest when she’s prancing and smiling excitedly. Somehow this sweet girl hasn’t been hardened & isn’t violent towards kids or adults. Just the opposite. We live on a teacher’s & a police officer’s salary, & while we gladly take on the day-to-day costs of caring for Skye, the additional unexpected surgeries & specialized veterinary expenses have created an unexpected financial hardship. Asking for help isn’t easy.

Bonnie

Bonnie is a 6-year-old Pit Bull in Lakeland , FL, who needs $2,000 for Wound Care.

Lakeland, FL

Bonnie was a rescue. When we found her she was covered in ticks and needed immediate care and attention.. From that moment on, Bonnie was family. Bonnie lives at home with three other dogs but she is “MaMa” and everyone knows MaMa makes the rules. She is the pack leader or as we like to call her “Security.” But... as cautious as our girl is she is equally loving to those she is protecting. Bonnie is more than our pet. Wherever we go she goes and she makes sure of it. She loves when we holler to “load up” as she gallops to the truck on the way to another adventure with her humans. Bonnie loves being with her family but if you ask her where she would want to be it would be right next to her primary human, my boyfriend. He and joke and say Bonnie is his wife and Bonnie believes it! Our pets are our lives. I often joke that “we work for the dogs to live well.” We have never asked for help but when COVID impacted one of our incomes, we played catch-up since but we figure it out. Bonnie was attacked by another dog about a week before Christmas. She was severely injured from deep bite wounds damaging her front legs. She has been at My Pet Animal Hospital for about two weeks fighting to survive. With there care she has been able to keep her left limb and we are hopeful the right as well. She has several wound care procedures ahead of her but she remains in good spirits. Bonnie has always been “Extra” with a personality that leaves you laughing. She is one of those “take no crap” kinda of personalities but still calm in her presence. She knows what she wants and expresses it through snorts and gruffs or a side eye “your ridiculous” look she gives often. She is witty, underestimated and charismatic. If you ever seen Big Mama’s House, Bonnie is “Big Mama”.

Tay

Tay is a 1-year-old Pit Mix in Alexandria, VA, who needs $2,000 for Parvo Treatment.

Alexandria, VA • Vindicated Pit Bull Rescue

Our rescue pulled Tay from the PG county shelter in VA where there is Breed Specific Legislation. Dogs deemed "pit bull type dogs" are considered illegal and are ineligible for adoption. They can only leave the shelter through a 503c rescue organization and fostered in a home outside of the county. Tay had only been in a foster home for a few days before becoming sick. After a week in a foster home, he began throwing up and was admitted to the hospital. Tay was also exposed to Parvo at the shelter. He is now fighting for his life at the Metropolitan Animal Center. He is an affectionate, playful dog. He deserves a chance to show his true personality in a home of his own. Tay is a young dog with a playful spirit. His ears go up, down, sideways, together and sometimes do their own thing! He is incredibly expressive and communicates a lot through his ears. His tail never stops wagging and he loves to roll over for belly rubs. He did great meeting other dog and kept a relaxed, wagging body. Tay has endured an exploratory surgery bc his imaging (X-rays) suggested an obstruction. He tested positive from Parvo at that time. He has been fighting for his life in the Metropolitan Animal Center under 24 hour supportive care for several days. Tay has a feeding tube as he is not eating. They have attempted a fecal transplant and we are anxiously waiting to see if the treatment is working. Tay's obstruction surgery, 24/7 hospital care and fecal transplant has bankrupted our reserve funds. We are having to ask other vets for an extension to pay our other bills. We do not want to have to make a decision for Tay's life based on available funds. Please help us.

Zara

German Shepherd Dog who needs Mammary Mass Removal Surgery.

Tavares, FL • Unseen Unheard Unbroken Inc.

Zara is a 7-year-old German Shepherd with a heart as big as she is, and right now, she needs our help. Zara came to us through UNSEEN | UNHEARD | UNBROKEN Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Florida, when her owner reached out seeking help rehoming her. Before we could move forward with placement, we noticed something that couldn't be ignored, a large visible mass that required immediate attention. We made the decision that no dog leaves our care unexamined. We took Zara to Purrfect Paws & Claws Veterinary Hospital in Leesburg, Florida, where Dr. Anne Valdes confirmed what we feared, a large mammary mass, ulcerated and actively growing, requiring immediate surgical intervention. Dr. Valdes generously waived her examination fee for Zara's initial visit. UNSEEN | UNHEARD | UNBROKEN Inc. covered the cost of her medications using donated funds from our community. This case has already been a community effort, and we are grateful for every person who has stepped up so far. Her veterinarian has recommended mammary mass removal, a spay, chest X-rays, and lab analysis to determine the nature of the mass and whether it has spread. The total estimated cost is $2,696.00. Her family is facing significant financial hardship and is unable to cover the cost of her care. Without this surgery, Zara's condition will continue to worsen. She has already been examined. The veterinarian is ready. We just need the funding to get her into surgery. Every dollar raised goes directly to Purrfect Paws & Claws Veterinary Hospital. Nothing passes through our organization. Please donate. Please share. Zara deserves a fighting chance. Liz Rams, President UNSEEN | UNHEARD | UNBROKEN Inc. EIN: 39-228408 6/5/26 Update: Please Meet Zara We've added a new video so supporters can meet Zara and see the sweet girl we're fighting for. While photos tell part of her story, video captures something different. Her gentle personality, her trusting nature, and the reason so many people have already fallen in love with her. Zara still needs surgery, and we are continuing to raise funds to help make that possible. Thank you to everyone who has shared, donated, and supported her journey so far. Every act of kindness brings her one step closer to the care she needs. Please continue sharing Zara's story. 💜🐾 6/18/26 Update: 💜 Zara’s Journey to Healing: $630 Raised! 🐾 🐾 ZARA UPDATE 🐾 We have wonderful news to share. Thanks to the generosity of Purrfect Paws & Claws Veterinary Hospital, Zara’s surgical estimate has been reduced through a 20% veterinary discount. 💜 Updated Surgery Goal: $2,156.80 🐾 Raised So Far: $630.00 🎯 Still Needed: $1,526.80 Zara has been evaluated by her veterinary team, and a treatment plan is in place. We continue working toward securing the remaining funds needed for her surgery and follow-up care. Every donation, share, and act of support brings Zara one step closer to the treatment she needs and the future she deserves. Thank you for believing in Zara and helping us get her one step closer to healing. 💜🐾 7/20/26 Update: 🐾 Zara Update ❤️ Zara's surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, and we're moving forward with her care because waiting any longer simply isn't in her best interest. While we're still short of our fundraising goal, we've made the commitment to ensure she receives the treatment she so desperately needs. Every donation received from this point forward will go directly toward Zara's surgery, pathology, medications, and post-operative care. We're not at our goal yet, and your continued support means everything. If you've been thinking about helping Zara, there's still time to make a difference. Every gift, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to giving her the healthy future she deserves. To everyone who has donated, shared her story, or kept Zara in your thoughts and prayers, thank you. Your kindness has helped bring her to this moment, and we couldn't have come this far without you. We'll share another update on Wednesday after her procedure and let everyone know how she's doing. Missy is a 0 year old Mix-Breed in White House, , who needs $2,000 for Stomach Blockage Removal Surgery.

White House

She was born in the backyard of one of my customers. At about two weeks old, she moved them all into the bathtub with her mother and at about five weeks old, I adopted two of them. Solid orange tabby and one was a boy and one was a girl. She has been the most lovable, playful kitten, and is in big need of our help. I love her so much Sure went to Robertson County Clinic today and they did an x-ray. There’s a blockage in her stomach. She’s been vomiting for days and hasn’t eaten. she can’t go to the bathroom. She is lethargic and down. The doctor says that there is a small blockage in her stomach but can’t tell what it is. She needs emergency surgery or will be put down. $3k all upfront. I cannot afford it for a couple weeks. She is the sweetest, most hilarious kitten I’ve ever had. She’s full of energy and is constantly climbing, jumping and knocking things off the counter. She’s a trip. She jumps onto our shoulders as we walk by and gives kisses. She has a twin brother and they are always together, either playing or cuddling. She’s just a doll. There’s so much life in her. She’s got a golden soul. Just a good girl I started a new job. A week withheld. I don’t get paid until the 20th. I gave all I had for appt today and still had to borrow some. If I could make payments, it’d be no problem. If it was just 2 weeks later, no problems. But it’s now and I don’t have it. Its an emergency

Boston

Boston is a 7 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Glen Burnie, MD, who needs $2,000 for Ligament Suture Procedure.

Glen Burnie, MD

Boston's dad Billy was escaping the darkest of times when they met and saved each other. Billy poured all his love into Boston from day one with trips to the river, lots of movies and SO many treats. When our families blended, Boston got even more friends, outings and fun, plus two brothers who adore him. We lost Billy in May, but Boston is a piece of his heart that he left here with us. Boston was playing in our yard with his young canine cousin, took a funny step, yelped and wouldn't put his paw down. His vet, Dr. Jones, at Northwind Animal Hospital in Cub Hill, MD confirmed that it was a CCL rupture. He has a pretty cool brace on both legs to support the joints, but he needs surgery to repair the ligament. Boston is our soul dog. He is a very obedient guy, but if you leave him alone sometimes he will get naughty and counter surf. Nobody is perfect! He loves nature, hates fireworks and thunderstorms and waits at the front door for the chance to go ANYWHERE... so we take him EVERYWHERE. His favorites are Sam's baseball games, dropping Max off at school and trips to Home Depot. There aren't words to describe how hard the last few months have been and I hadn't gotten insurance for my sweet friend yet. This is an injury we weren't ready for and an expense we weren't ready for. This family has lost too much already. We need Boston in every way.
