Our Pom Pom came in our life when, out of the blue a year ago, a friend offered us a rabbit. They had many rabbits and were overwhelmed by them. So we accepted the rabbit with open arms, happy about what would be ahead. Then we gave him his name, and spent time with him, watching him run around the yard, and cause mischief. He would excitedly run around his owners after they came home after hours. Pom Pom is only a year and a half old, and now we are looking at either surgeries or having to put him to sleep. The surgeries are only the first step, then he will need teeth trimming for the rest of his life. We do not want to put him down, as he has so much more to live for. He is on pain medication, but we wish to rid him of the problem as soon as possible. Our rabbit has been separated from the rest of his family ever since out friend gave him to us. We would like to let him interact and bond with more rabbits until his time is up. He was keen to explore the house and would often go upstairs without us noticing. He would zoom around the furniture as we tried to catch him to bring him back in his cage. He was very enthusiastic to see us. The surgeries, as we mentioned earlier, are only the first step. We need support for this initial surgery before we can do anything else to help improve the life of our Pom Pom

I found little girl in December of 2025 during a thunderstorm hiding under my car. I coaxed her out and she been my little soul cat since then. She's has a bonded female sister that will mourn her if she's gone. Unfortunately, this is not an easy procedure that she needs. She has been diagnosed with septic peritonitis and desperately needs an exploratory surgery in order for them to locate the rupture, seal it as well as drain any fluid that's currently leaking from her abdomen. She will die without the surgery This little girl is the sweetest thing ever to touch this earth. She will leave a huge hole behind in my heart. She's a duck in disguise who hates being away from her people. She follows room to room always making sure we are in her sights. She is my soul kitty We had no emergency fund set up and while I have begged all of my family nobody can help at this time. I have no emergency fund but will do anything to save her life

From Broken Bones to Brighter Days

Just days ago, Stewie was on the euthanasia list at California's overcrowded Devore County Animal Shelter. At only two years old, this tiny pup was facing euthanasia while suffering in silence with a devastating broken leg and hip pain. When Bichon Rescue Brigade learned about Stewie, they knew they couldn't let his story end behind shelter walls. His life had been spared but his battle was only beginning. Veterinarians discovered Stewie had a severely displaced fracture of his left femur. During surgery, they made another heartbreaking discovery: the injury was older than anyone realized. Scar tissue and granulation had already formed around the broken bone, meaning Stewie had likely been living in excruciating pain for much longer than anyone knew. The rescue was given a choice - pay less for a complete leg amputation or pay more to save the leg. To give him the best chance at a pain-free future, BRB opted to save his leg and surgeons performed an extensive orthopedic procedure. They cleaned away damaged tissue, repaired the fracture with a specialized locking bone plate, and performed a femoral head ostectomy (FHO) to restore his mobility. Thanks to his veterinary team, the surgery was a success and Stewie is now on the long road to recovery. For the next two months, Stewie must remain on strict crate rest with no running, jumping, long walks, or rough play while his body heals. He will need ongoing pain medication, follow-up appointments, X-rays, and careful rehabilitation to ensure his leg heals properly. Bichon Rescue Brigade gave Stewie the chance to leave the euthanasia list behind and begin a new life filled with hope instead of pain. Now they need our help to give him every opportunity to fully recover. The rescue fought to save his leg even though that meant a much larger bill. Your donation will go directly toward Stewie's surgeries, ongoing treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery. Every gift, no matter the size, helps ensure this sweet little survivor can heal, find a loving home, and finally experience the carefree life every dog deserves.

When Gerry and Doggy were rescued by Baw Baw Animal Welfare, they were finally given the chance to leave suffering behind. But for these two dogs, rescue was only the beginning. Now, they urgently need medical care to heal. Gerry arrived in heartbreaking condition. He is battling severe dermatitis, and even more concerning, he is passing blood in his stool. A sign that something serious may be happening internally. His veterinary team has already begun emergency treatment, including IV fluids, medications to control bleeding and infection, Vitamin B12, and critical blood testing to determine what is causing his illness. His next steps depend on those results, and every hour matters. Doggy is also fighting painful dermatitis that has left his skin inflamed and uncomfortable. He has started treatment for his skin, but he also needs diagnostic blood work to uncover any underlying health issues and ensure he receives the right care before his condition worsens. Timmy was found in a box as a kitten when I was 17 years old, we brought him home and he’s been with us for 10 years now, I’m 27 and he’s an integral part of my household Timmy recently became less active, more lethargic, playing less, eating less over the past few days, when I came home from work I found him hiding under the bed, breathing in a short unusual manner and he wouldn’t come out, or accept food or water. We took him to the closest vet and he’s was taken back right away where they discovered infection related fluid around his lungs Timmy is and always has been quarky, he has a RBF like no other and while sometimes sassy, he’s actually the sweetest cat, he’s 10 but plays like he’s still a kitten, and absolutely adore cuddling with anyone at all, he’s always been an indoor only cat and we like to think it’s because he doesn’t wanna get his tuxedo dirty we were already tight as a household,we shelled out all of our savings to get him this far but he’s at 5200 in life saving medical care,and The total care by tomorrow mid day is at 7k which we have exhausted all options for financing or assistance

Bianca (her official name is Bibi) is our beloved 7-year-old Maltese and one of the biggest joys in our family's life. We brought her home when she was just 3 months old she is a cherished member of our family. She lives indoors with us and is loved and cared for every day. She enjoys being close to her family, spending time relaxing at home, and being by our side. Recently, our veterinarian diagnosed Bianca with severe dental disease. To relieve her pain and prevent further infection, she needs surgery to remove the majority of her teeth. Her vet office for surgery is VCA Everett Animal Hospital. Bianca has a huge personality. She is full of energy, incredibly feisty, and has no idea she's such a tiny dog. She's our little diva and isn't afraid to let everyone know it. One of the things we love most about Bianca is how gentle and patient she is with our young children. She's affectionate, enjoys being around them, and has always been a loving member of our family. Our family relies on a single income because one of us stays home full-time to care for our children. Like many families, we're balancing everyday expenses, and the cost of Bianca's surgery is simply beyond what we can afford right now.

Monty adopted us you can say my freind I let her stay at our house long story short she left the dog and he already was so attached the kids love him and hes the pride and joy! please help us save Monty our sweet 5-5 year old chihuahua and the heart of the family Monty is currently is severe pain he needs urgent dental surgery. he has been diagnosed with stage 3 periodontal disease which is a destructive infection of his gums and jaw bone. on top of that he has developed painful dental masses in his mouth which must be biopsy. He does in fact have 1 freind his name is Mikey they love to play together in the yard but sadly since Monty's disease Monty has been overly tired and not like himself. please help us we miss his playful happy self. Right now Monty is suffering. he has severe gum swelling and terrible bad breath and he frequently drops his food because it hurts to much to chew. Watching our happy boy struggle to eat and lose weight from the pain is heartbreaking.

Hello, we have had Iris since she was a baby. We rescued her from a friend who had puppies on accident and they all caught Parvo and nursed her back to health. She’s now nine years old and is having health issues, severe problems with her ears and her teeth. and two girls on her body, all of which are really bothering her. I’m out of work right now and cannot afford the vet care. She is having major issues with her ears. She is constantly scratching them and whining, and the other dog is licking them.. she also has multiple growth on her body. We’re not sure if they’re a medical issue or not. And her teeth are chipping and causing her pain when she eats. We have not been to the vet yet because I cannot afford it, but the nearest hospital is the animal Hospital of Gurnee She is so special she’s been with us for nine years and she is our love in our protector. We have four other animals who adore her of the cats sleep with her every night and she’s great with the new baby. I am out of work right now and have no income coming in other than cash assistance through the state. This does not even cover our rent. I am currently looking for work and hoping to get back to work soon, but have so much to catch up on to prevent foreclosure.
