Newbies is my other esa cat, she means a lot to me just like my daughter does, and my daughter cares very much for her also We are homeless living in my car and I am not working currently, newbies was missing for 10 days out in a wooded area, when we finally found her she had some blood on the inside of both ears, some missing fur and very skinny for not eating or drinking for 10 days, we really really need some help, I don’t want my baby to suffer anymore days without knowing what is wrong with her..

Churro is our young, energetic Kelpie mix who came into our lives after we adopted him as a puppy from the SaN Antonio Humane Society. He is nearly 80 pounds of personality—playful, vocal, loving, and always ready for an adventure. Watching such an active dog struggle with his hind leg has been heartbreaking, but he continues to greet every day with excitement and love. Churro has been diagnosed with a luxating patella grade 4, meaning his kneecap slips out of its normal position. This causes limping, stiffness, pain, and difficulty bending or bearing weight on his hind leg. Because he is young, surgery was initially delayed until his growth plates developed. He now needs corrective surgery to restore stability and mobility. Churro is more than a pet—he is family. He is a young, energetic, affectionate dog whose big personality brings laughter and love into our home every day. It is heartbreaking to watch him struggle when he should be running, playing, and enjoying life. His recovery would give him the chance to be the happy, active dog he was meant to be. He came at a time we needed him more than he needed us. Churro’s medical needs have come at an especially difficult time for our family. We are currently facing significant attorney fees while pursuing our homebuilder over serious problems with our home. Help Churro for surgery and care he needs to live without pain.

Melvin

Help Melvin get Fluid removal/aspiration — Fort Collins, CO

Melvin is a wonderfully good boy. He’s slowed down a bit in his older age but still loves to go on walks and loves to play when he gets the gumption. He loves churus, greenie cat treats, tuna, and the occasional dose of catnip. Melvin showed some signs of discomfort and extreme lethargy which came on rather quickly. This coupled with decreased food intake and bathroom visits made me incredibly worried. I got him to the vet as soon as I could and they found that his heart is enlarged and he has some fluid on his lungs. We’ve begun 5 medications to combat these issues but the vet would like to pull off the liquid from his lungs and do an EKG. Now that I’ve had Melvin for 16 years it is very tough to imagine life without him. He always greets me when I get home and is always ready for pets and love. Neighbors love to give him a few pets and always remark how well he looks for his age. We’ve been through some ups and down these last 16 years but he has always been so quick to get comfortable and provide the best companionship. The initial vet visit was around $1200 which was a lot for me. I’m halfway through an apprenticeship but not quite making the big bucks. Shaq is my best friend. He's a 7.11 yr old Great Dane. I love his goofy, lovable, silly, protective self. Sadly, he's recently been diagnosed with a growing mass located near his ribs. He needs a surgery called Intra-Thoracic Surgery. Our own Vet doesn't perform this type of surgery that only a Specialist can do. The estimated cost will be somewhere betwen $2000 - $3000. It breaks my heart knowing that I cannot afford the costs. I'm not one to ask for help; I'm the one who typically helps others, including people and animals. But my income is very limited and I'm reaching out to others for help. I will know further details this coming Monday, 8/31/26 and will update this page then. Donations would be greatly appreciated and can be made directly to the Vet Clinic or me. Either way, this is an urgent request as he will need surgery immediately. Our Vet said the mass is intertwining itself around Shaq's lungs and that it could also develop into cancer if not taken care of ASAP. Thank you in advance for your help and prayers, which are also desperately needed. Mass that requires an Intra-Thoracic surgery. The hospital will more than likely be Blue Pearl in Atlanta, GA or UGA University in Athens, GA or Auburn University in Auburn, AL. I got Shaq when he was 9 weeks old, and he's been my inseparable best friend ever since. My protector, my funny clown, my everything. He is also my lifesaver. I miss the daily walks we used to go on. The mass has caused him to start limping and I don't dare take him on walks for fear of causing further discomfort. Shaq was born 2 days before my mom passed away from ovarian cancer. She was "my person," my go-to whenever I had good or bad news. Her passing greatly affected me. Shaq was the only one that put a smile on my face. Even though it would be 9 weeks before I got to hold Shaq in my arms, he brought so much joy during a time when I was so broken and sad. The thought of losing him is absolutely unbearable! Up until 2023, my take home pay was $100K. Life was good. Life was manageable...that is, until early February 2023 when I was part of a big company layoff. As hard as I tried to turn my situation around, it would not be unit February 2024 before I finally got another job offer. But it was at a $40K paycut. I had no choice to accept it, no other offers were coming in. I've been trying to increase my finances ever since. My biggest fear has come true. That something might happen to Shaq that I couldn't afford to take care of. He's such a good sweet boy. He's even pretty popular on my Facebook account.

Merci is an angel with whiskers! She likes to participate with whatever other pets are doing. If the dog takes a walk, she wants to go on a walk. Unfortunately, Merci wanted to have Ruffles flavored allergy medication and required lifesaving medical care. The delayed side effects of this allergy medicine ingestion has been ongoing eye issues. She needs three different eye drops 4x per day. An EKG exam for heart arrhythmia and bloodwork to check her liver, kidneys and platelets. Merci knows a lot of words and tries to “talk” to you by making different sounds…her own language. I work very hard, barely get a day off. I am low income and the medical bills are too much for me. Help Josie get Luxated Patella surgery

Josie, who was adopted by my parents as a puppy and has become a cherished part of my life. Although she lives with them, I visit her frequently, and her face lights up with pure joy whenever she sees me. Josie is our 18-month-old Pomeranian who’s currently undergoing surgery for a luxated patella (consistent knee dislocation) The surgery involves a specialist cutting a deeper groove for her knee cap to rest in so it won’t dislocate anymore. Orchard Veterinarian Care has deemed this a severe condition that requires immediate attention, but it comes with a hefty price tag of $3,500. Josie is always excited when I come visit and usually leaps for joy and would get the zoomies prior to her knee problem. We will be caring for Josie when she goes for her surgery on September 9th and during her rehabilitation for 8 weeks. This is an unexpected and significant expense. We didn’t anticipate this situation, and it’s even more so because we’ll need to travel over two hours to get Josie to a specialist. Consequently, we’ll need to book a hotel so we can stay nearby.

At 9 years old and just 10 pounds, Grandma Biscuit should be spending her golden years surrounded by comfort and love. Instead, this sweet senior arrived at Greenville Animal Care and Control as a stray with a very large, ulcerated mass on her right rear leg. Because of the severity of her condition, Grandma Biscuit was at risk of euthanasia when her stray hold ended. Thankfully, a shelter Pathway Planner saw something special in this incredibly sweet and loving girl and reached out for help. A rescue stepped in, a medical foster said yes, and Grandma Biscuit was pulled from the shelter and taken straight to the vet. And there is hopeful news: there is no visible evidence that the cancer has spread. Grandma Biscuit is now awaiting pathology results that will determine the best way forward. If possible, veterinarians will surgically remove the mass. If testing shows that it is an aggressive mast cell tumor that cannot be safely removed while preserving her leg, she may need an amputation to give her the best chance at a healthy future. Her rescuers have already spent approximately $1,000 getting her the veterinary care and diagnostics she urgently needed. Her upcoming treatment—including surgery to address the mass, a much-needed spay, and dental care for her badly neglected teeth—is expected to cost another $1,500, bringing her total medical expenses to approximately $2,500. Grandma Biscuit came frighteningly close to never getting this chance. Now she has people fighting for her, a safe place to recover, and a path toward a happier life. Bentley came into my life unexpectedly. My ex originally got him, but because of frequent work-related travel, I offered to take care of him. I had never owned a dog before, but I instantly fell in love with him. Bentley is mild-mannered, playful, energetic, loving, and incredibly funny. More than anything, he loves being close. Unfortunately, Bentley is facing a serious dental health issue. He is suffering from significant dental disease, and his teeth have deteriorated to the point where he is having difficulty eating. His dental condition has reached the point where teeth extractions are necessary. Bentley will be receiving his care at Rivers Veterinary Urgent Care. SBentley and I have been through so much together. We've moved to two different cities, shared countless adventures, and experienced so many moments that I will always cherish. Bentley isn't just my dog. He's my best friend, my companion, and family. The unexpected way he came into my life has turned into one of the most meaningful relationships I've ever had. I'm asking for support due to the reason of being out of work for a year for medical reasonings of my own. That's going to change in a month or so but having Bentley wait that long for any medical care is just breaking my heart.

Sampson is a gentle giant and such a big baby. My sweetheart, very protective and so loyal. He loves everybody and everybody loves him. I could've not ask for a better friend. During his birth his mom was exhausted so I helped break his sack. Saw him take his first breath. He was so adorable I fell in love and promised to take care of him till his last breath if I could. I noticed he was limping and when I checked his paws I couldnt see anything. I thought, maybe arthritis? It had worsen the next day. His paw and leg were swollen real bad. I took off to the vet but was only able to afford the walkin and antibiotics. He needed an x ray another $300 I couldn't afford. We were sent home nothing else they could do. By morning his paw was so swollen blood was seeping out. He not able to walk and I'm afraid were the battle. In every moment of my life for the last 13 yrs Sampson has brought so much joy and happiness. The peace I feel when I'm home alone with him, I know I'm safe. I saw him come into this world. His first breath first steps. All his first, till the last I promised. Seeing him suffer and in pain is most devastating and to be unable to help him makes me feel hopeless and sometimes worthless that I can't come up with enough money to care for him properly. He's been apart of me for so long my heart is breaking I popped my knee getting him in or out of the truck on the way to the vet so both of ours legs gave out. In doing so I havent been able to go to work and cant come up with the funds on my own.
