This is MitiMoo. He's a feral my special needs son and I adopted 18mos ago. He comes into my home 2x per day to be fed as he sings to us. We're very fond of him. We finally managed to trap him to have him neutered and treated for an old abcess. It's was a minor miracle. While he was being treated at our local rescue, Haven Humane, it was discovered that he had a massive infection in a back toe that is threatening his life. After giving him an injection of long acting antibiotics they gave me the news. We barely survive on SSDI as I'm wheelchair bound I can't pay for this surgery & I can't kill him over my poverty! He deserves better and he HAS a great home! Moo has been a blessing for my cognitively challenged adult son who provides his primary care. He loves this cat. That makes him very special to our family. We have 3 other cats rescued from the Camp Fire where we lost everyone and everything. They are our only family. My son lacks the capacity to understand this situation. How do I explain this?? I was told that the surgery was urgently needed and would cost $90 + antibiotics but they couldn't do it on that day. When I called to schedule it I was told I had been given bad info. They only do spay/neuter there. If I couldn't pay for it elsewhere I'd have to kill him!?

I rescued Bitty almost 9 years ago. She was the last pick and nobody wanted to take her. I’m disabled and have a lot of medical problems. She’s my best friend. Bitty has glaucoma in both eyes, cataracts in both eyes and a lens luxation in her right eye. The ophthalmologist is trying to keep her comfortable. The only resolution is to remove her eye and treat her left eye. Even though Birty is going through so much and can hardly recognize me she knows my scent and is never too busy to give me kisses. She’s going through so much and all I can do is cry. I can’t help my baby. She’s in pain and defenseless. I’m on a fixed income and can’t afford her surgery. I don’t want to have to euthanize her due to the pain. It would mean everything to me to get her the help she deserves

Roux came into my life in June of 2025. I rescued her from a shelter in the Chicago area! I have had her since she was 3 months old, and she is now just freshly 1. My mom moved to Louisiana right before I got Roux, so her name came from the southern dish. She is my emotional support animal. Roux started avoiding walking on her back left leg, and I immediately took her to the vet. After getting x-rays they noticed she had dislocated her hip, and was also diagnosed with a pretty bad case of hip dysplasia. We are now working on a plan for FHO surgery on both hips. We are hoping to get her in to Rolling Hills Animal Hospital. Roux has a best friend named Reese. She loves to go on play dates with her and visit her when in town. She also goes to doggy daycare and has made so many friends there!! She loves to play in the snow and then get cozy and cuddle in bed after, but she also really loves the warm weather. I am a full time college student and I fully support myself and my dog. I work a part time job while attending classes 5 days a week as well. Planning for this surgery was very un-expected and I do not have a lot of funds saved up.

Loki is an outside kitty I've had since he was born. I've got his mom too. Loki is a sweet mischievous boy and loves running around and playing and getting into trouble. We are currently at the vet unable to pay bills past the base exam pay. he has been lethargic, refusing to eat or drink, has a hard spot on his belly, and seems nauseous. We took him to community care veterinarian in gainesville florida for help. He has a blocked urethra He lives with his brothers and dad playing constantly. He is sweet as can be. Loves attention, making messes, and is just the absolute sweetest bundle of joy. We helped a friend who had a pet emergency about a week prior to this and no longer have the funds or a way to get funds to help our kitty. I absolutely adore him and can't imagine my life without his light.

Hello this is the story and heartache of my best friend. Her name is Dink born a Christmas baby at 2 a.m. ever since then she has done nothing but give lots of affection and love she can take your bad day and turn it into a happy one. She is my best friend, my buddy and my heart she never gives trouble or mischief. She loves people and that's all she does. She is my world of happiness. Dink was recently taken to carolina vegetarian in matthews n.c. to the emergency room on 4/19/26 where she was diagnosed with a uterus infection which my choices are surgery which is between 4 and 5 thousand dollars or for her to be put down. And I lost it. My heart has been crying non stop to try and save my best and only friend who I would be lost without. I'm praying and hoping for a miracle Dink loves attention and loves to give it back. If you rubber her she will take her nose and slide it under your hand and nodd her head up and down to simulate rubbing her. She loves cuddling beside you. And always happy to see me she is the only family I have left. She's all I got left in this world She's been through thick and thin with me and at the end of the day She's still giving love. I've had trouble getting out of a financial hole lately it seems like every week something bad happens and hits my bank account hard. I just really need a blessing and help to save my friend. She's all I have left in this world I was planning to take her to the beach this

My sweet baby came into my life in 2021 he was a rescue and was found in a heat bag with 4 other puppies in very hot temperatures. My daughter took one of the puppies and there that day she named him Aryson and he was such a cutie. We took him in and welcomed him home. I love him like I love my two kids! He’s my best friend, my road dog, he’s been serviced and trained very well. My everything! He’s up to date with all his shots he’s been to Dr Allen animal hospital! And we started going to see Dr Willow @ Open Door veterinary, we love her and have stayed there! I took him to see Dr willow and he was having some issues and we discoved that he was positive for Lyme disease and he also had a fever swelling we got a xray and discovered that he had fluid in his lungs with a heart issue! I worked @ Asheville school cleaning and I have a good friend named Layla Lyles and Aryson loves her so much. He’s lovable and great with other animals! He wants to play with everyone and animals! Cats too. He treats my mom special because he senses her condition and wants to help her. He’s amazing he also has two brothers and they belong to my mom. Tank and lil bit! They all love each other so mu I worked at the Asheville school cleaning for 8 years and they lost the contract because of better bidders and my mom has dementia and Alzheimer’s disease and she needs me. I’d give anything to have my best friend healthy again. Please we are always together.

Hello, my dog's name is Jessa...We live in Anderson, Indiana. I adopted her from the animal shelter approximately 8 years ago. She is a mix between a jack russell and border collie.....she weighs about 25 lbs and is black and white..She is a very good dog, she loves everyone especially kids. I was walking her this evening around my neighborhood and a dog that was offleash attacked her, he was going for her neck luckily I was able to pull her up quick enough however he grabbed her back leg and bit it pretty bad, it looks like it may need stitches. I am calling Middletown Animal Hospital in the morning to have it looked at. Jessa is the sweetest dog, she loves everyone she meets....other dogs not so much but she loves people. I adopted her when my granddaughter was about 3 years old and I couldn't have found a better dog, she was great with her. I am 79 years old, retired and on a fixed income.....I was hoping to get a little help so I could afford the vet. I am just wanting Jessa to be okay and not be in pain.

My beloved Tahoe came into my life as a tiny puppy, who just fit into my hoodie. I took him everywhere. He was selected by my husband, when my other beloved Boxer, Tucson passed away. He was afraid I was going to grieve myself to death. It took me a while to warm to the new puppy, but he soon grabbed my heart and hasn't let go of it. He sleeps with me. In March of this year while petting him, I noticed he had a bump by his bone on his right leg. Then I noticed he has a lump by his left underneath haunch. I became concerned, so I took him to the vet, Wellborn Road Veterinary Medical Center. He has like a gazillion toys, never tears them up, He plays with his favorite- a stuffed cow, a 'screaming chicken,' and his ball. He loves to play fetch. He is my emotional support animal and a comfort. However, he is not friendly with people he does not know. He loves his mommy and his daddy, although his daddy has been away for a while. He loves to chase anything in the yard. I work a $13 per hour job, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I get part of my SSI; They take $200 out for medicare parts A&B, and almost $200 for court restitution. I was planning on paying for the surgeries with our tax refunds, but court restitution took them too.

Preshiis came into our ife in 2019 she came from someone I use to work with.The woman I use to work with was trying to get out of a bad relationship and couldn't take her where she was going and I was looking for a dog at the time so it worked out perfect.She now lives with my husband and I and our two kids. She needs a tooth extraction asap and we don't have the money to take her to the vet.She won't eat or drink and she chatters her teeth all the time and I'm worried she will die if she don't get help.She goes to Athens Small animal hospital on Maple st in Athens TN. She is quiet she hardly ever barks and she loves to lay in the sun.She follows me around the apartment often and she sleeps with my son.she likes to lay around and loves to be loved on.She loves belly rubs. My husband is retired and I can't work due to my health problems.We don't make enough money for the vet to do x rays and put her to sleep and pull the tooth.We checked into pet insurance but we don't qualify.Any help is greatly appreciated.
